Speaker 1 (00:10):
And a sprinkle, sprinkled, drip drip.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
It's that time for talkbacks.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
It's our favorite part of Sancy three sixties.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
Austin Buddy played that talkback on your screen, and please
try not too Saba Taja.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
All right, here we go, best talkback of the week.
An opportunity to want a Sincy Shirts gift card. Leave
your best talkback. We'll throw it in the hopper. We'll
play them all again Friday give away a gift card
thanks to Cinti Shirts.

Speaker 6 (00:36):
Now we really are just blessed and spoiled to have
Joe Burrow as our quarterback in this town. We don't
we don't have to worry about, you know, drafting and
reaching for a quarterback at seventeen.

Speaker 7 (00:48):
You know, you see it every year.

Speaker 8 (00:50):
There's gonna be a guy that gets taken that's probably
not gonna work out, but they were taking a flyer
on him, Sue hors Ers, And you know, at seventeen,
we're gonna have either or johat Campbell, Malacha Starks Walter
nol and Mike Green.

Speaker 7 (01:03):
There's gonna be a stud sitting there waiting for us.

Speaker 9 (01:06):
Johat Campbell, by the way, told by doctors today, he'll
be ready for training camps all that.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
Hey, it's God, Happy God Day. As Happy Tuesday, Tony.
I can't wait to hear Snop Bubbles and Austin on Thursday. Yeah,
are you looking forward to it? Austin working with snop Bubbles?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:27):
I love working with Snop Bubbles.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
He's good people, Tony and awesome. It's a beautiful Tuesday.
Jim Ross. Love what the Reds are doing.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
I think they're starting to get their legs under him
despite the loss. But maybe concentrate on plate discipline or
maybe collaborate over positional defense. But if they win at all,
I would like nothing better than to see you two
guys carry our pennant downtown.

Speaker 10 (01:50):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, I've recently been diagnosed with COPD and that's the
reason for the call, because we're so self centered. But hey,
I love your show and love each other.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Well, I'll tell you, Jim him, I'm not sure what
to make of that.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Louke Bima Audi, did I hear you say?

Speaker 9 (02:05):
Yesterday?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
The ESBN fifteen thirty is gonna take us from six
to midnight on Draft night. Man, these tri state men's
health ads are getting a little wild. I'll be sure
to listen seven hundred WLW six to midnight for draft coverage.

Speaker 11 (02:22):
Does anyone still publish the chart of NFL Draft Day
trade value?

Speaker 12 (02:26):
And where might be able to find that? We be
able to find out if you.

Speaker 9 (02:29):
Guys know, I don't know, I would search the Twitter
machine for it.

Speaker 11 (02:33):
Happy Earthday, Happy talk with Tuesday pybody's doing well on
this Tuesday? In general, Bengals pick seventeen. I would love
to see him go get Gid Campbell. I think the
man's an awesome linebacker.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I think he's a stud.

Speaker 11 (02:46):
I think he'd also help out with the pastress as well.
That said, here's you gotta start bench cut pick seventeen,
Gid Campbell, Walter Nolan or battle on Ki Stocks take
care at all waits read day.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I'll start Campbell, I'll bench Nolan and I'll cut Starks.

Speaker 9 (03:06):
I'll flip the last two. I'll bench Starks, I'll cut Nolan.

Speaker 13 (03:13):
Question for you, what are the odds that the ranks
are really going to be able to get somebody in
the raft that WI will immediately help either on offense
or defense. Isn't that a long shot? In a kind
of another, the reality of that situation.

Speaker 9 (03:33):
Really might be. I think they it's I think it's
almost a certainty they get somebody that will help them.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
If not, you're in trouble.

Speaker 9 (03:42):
Hey, guys, talk back matters.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Guy just wanted to say Happy Taco Tuesday.

Speaker 9 (03:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
You guys always do a great job, and I mean
that sincerely. I know I give you crap, especially Boston,
but my question is is don't you think last night's
game they should have been more prepared for that, Like,
you know, the coming off that huge amount of runs.
There seems like there's always that letdown type part that

(04:08):
follows games, like what happened before your thoughts?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I don't think that's a thing, but it kind of
goes to most pole question yesterday. Those folks that they
should have said runs, stop scoring so many runs.

Speaker 9 (04:23):
You can be prepared for a nasty slider until you
see it, don't got to hit it.

Speaker 10 (04:28):
I tell you what, brother, it'd be very hard to
do your job. So many people are unhappy with everything.
You give them a million bucks and still they would
not be happy because of the delivery.

Speaker 12 (04:41):
Of the money.

Speaker 10 (04:43):
Now back to bigger issues. How can we help sincy
three to sixty? Conflict resolution skills, friendly competitions, food?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Are you in? What? I am? I'm believable? What just happened?
Used Tony and Austin.

Speaker 14 (05:03):
Yeah, Red's just ran into a buzz all last night.
That Max Meyer kid, you can see why he's a
number three overall pick.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
He's good.

Speaker 12 (05:08):
He was just nasty.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Uh.

Speaker 14 (05:11):
Congrats to nic Lodolo. I'm sure he had a lot
going on. He's had a little bit of an off night.
But yeah, Alexis Diaz, if he doesn't give up three runs,
Gavin Luck size it up. I think Gavin Lucks has
been great. Shout out to Mike. I hope everybody's doing
good on this Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Thank you. Yeah, Gavin Lux has been awesome. He's been very,
very good for them, the first ever double attempt.

Speaker 14 (05:34):
But I don't know if there's any hockey fans out
there that watched the Kings Oilers game last night. Connor
McDavid is unbelievable. Hockey think he is the top player
in the league and it's not even close. Who's second.

Speaker 12 (05:48):
Go Kings Go how.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
About that shout out the king, shout out to Conor McDavid.

Speaker 12 (05:53):
What's up, guys, Kahn.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
I like the thought of aDNA MARII on Hampton. I've
seen that article to the to the room. I mean,
you know, another weapon on offense. Like I was saying yesterday.
But what about the pope passing away? Rest in peace?
The Pope?

Speaker 12 (06:06):
But the Vatican.

Speaker 15 (06:08):
I mean they say, the Vatican's got to call Brad Stevens.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
They got to call Billy Donovan, They got called John Gruden.
You gotta make them, guys say.

Speaker 9 (06:15):
No, Please call Billy Donovan.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Beg the Vatican. You've got to make him say no.
You've got to make them.

Speaker 9 (06:25):
John Gruden would be a great pope.

Speaker 12 (06:27):
Man.

Speaker 9 (06:27):
Man, I'm talking about Jesus christ.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Man, Hey, Tony and Austen GINI here. Uh, what Mark
had mentioned about what's frustrating is when you got certain
players come up and they just sit there and they
watch the that that first pitch they don't swing. On Saturday,
when Luxe and Frereley, We're so disciplined, work, work, the plate,
got the walk and then the next batter came up.
You know who I'm talking about, swung at the first pitch,

(06:53):
and that, to me is just as frustrating when the
first two batters work so hard to get on base.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Frustrations.

Speaker 15 (07:03):
I agree, Tony Best here on another gorgeous day, delivered
that and just listen to all those warblers.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I can hear him.

Speaker 15 (07:16):
Oh, I can't wait for the draft to begin this
week so we can figure out that the Bengals can
take care of all the holes that they have on
the team and hopefully make a run of this. You
guys have another best to day ever, Let's go.

Speaker 9 (07:32):
Let's Ben turned it up perfectly in the background there
Carlin line at the lone shooting too.

Speaker 16 (07:39):
Hey, boys, it's a special day. Today is the fortieth
anniversary of me becoming a big brother. My little brother
is a great dude. He is a big Reds fan.
He is a huge fan of this station, in this
show in particular. He's been listening longer than I have.
He lives and dies by the Bengals, loves the Reds

(08:00):
as a giant Bearcats fan. You guys could join me
in wishing him a happy birthday forever.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (08:07):
Happy birthday, bir, Happy birthday to your brother who's forty
years younger than you did I hear that correctly, I
can't be right. Listen to it again.

Speaker 16 (08:17):
Hey boys, it's a special day. Today is the fortieth
anniversary of me becoming a big brother.

Speaker 9 (08:27):
Or maybe it's his fortieth birthday. Yeah, okay, all right,
so happy happy fortieth to your brother. Sorry, my brain
exploded for me, a tip of the cop. I thought
I heard something wrong there over the hill, big fellow,
Happy birthday to you, tip of the cop. My mind
was all best up there for a bit.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
I forgot to mention when you know who got up
song of that first pitch you're talking about and over
the pictures like, man, thank you for getting me out
of that jam and swinging at that first pitch.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
So I don't know who she's talking about, do you know? No,
But if it's that's five days ago, I don't remember.
If it's someone that's botting after Gavin Lux, then most
of the time that's.

Speaker 9 (09:14):
Lux and Freelies. I don't know, Candl Candelarago, I don't know.

Speaker 13 (09:18):
It could be one of them great swaves again, double
dipping Boston and Tony. Are you disappointed in Peto or
Frank Crone's impact on the Red so far. I know
everybody thought he was going to have an immediate positive impact,
but some of the same stuffing can be happening all
over again with errors and stupid moves on the bases.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
Or do we need to.

Speaker 13 (09:41):
Give him more time?

Speaker 1 (09:42):
More time? We asked? UH had a chance to ask
Rob Dibble last week and Rob Dibble said for a
manager to kind of get his feel of the roster
and what they need, he said fifty games.

Speaker 9 (09:53):
Yeah, I think he needs a little bit more time.
But also a lot of the players are the same,
and the infield coach is the same, and the bass
pet base coaches are the same, so I would look
at those as potential issues.

Speaker 17 (10:08):
Tony Austin, Yes, well, Johnny, Presidential big Board is almost done.
I've been travel a lot for work lately. I'm currently
traveling now, so I will be releasing the Presidential big Board.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Again.

Speaker 17 (10:22):
The big Board will highlight players I think the Bengals
should take and the Bengals shouldn't take. There will be
some surprises on there. There's a couple of players that
I think are garbage.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
That some people like.

Speaker 9 (10:33):
So stay tuned tonight, who.

Speaker 12 (10:35):
Day and have a good one.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Okay, all right, john been presidential big board. He's been
working in.

Speaker 9 (10:42):
It seems, uh tag us in that post there.

Speaker 17 (10:44):
Yes, Also, I didn't leave a talkback yesterday. I didn't
do anything yesterday because Sunday is a holiday for me.
Not easier folks, It's a different holiday. Yah Flick Willie,
he'll tell you. But I came to the realization through
the weekend. Oh, you're doing red are above five hundred
at July fourth, fourth of July.

Speaker 9 (11:05):
Oh, I'm going to resign.

Speaker 17 (11:07):
Oh if they're not, I'm running again, and you're gonna
have to deal with talkback matters. Guy versus Johnny for
a whole summer might be good radio.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
We'll see.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Put it on the Reds. This is what I'm talking about.

Speaker 12 (11:18):
Hello, this is hw Day, Bingo's mascot. I'm down here
in the jungle getting ready for the draft. I'm going
to get me some snacks. I'm going to hunt down
at Antelope and get my favorite beverage canalope. Antelope. Steelers

(11:39):
and Browns fans are dopes. Singles to the AFC Championship
game day out.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
You know some of these are hard listens. I just
wonder I think the thought was there, let's be different.
I'm going to be the WODEI mask. We've heard him before.
It is a lot better than that. Delivery has got
to be there. That is how we doing.

Speaker 16 (12:00):
I'm all right, I don't really have a sports related
item today, but your question I've been meaning to ask
for a very long time. Ask what is the origin
of Carl Maline at the Loan Shooting two.

Speaker 9 (12:15):
It's something I heard on Dan Patrick many many years
ago that in the NBA Finals when the Bulls were
playing the Jazz, the public address announcer at the game
accidentally said Carl Maline at the Loan Shooting two. And
Dan told that story. This was probably ten years ago.

(12:37):
Dan told the story of being there and hearing that,
And now every time I hear Carl Malone's name, all
I think about is Carl Maline at the Loan Shooting two.
And so the nickname for Carl Malone is the Mailman,
and we have a talkbacker called the Mailman, so that
triggers my brain to say Carl Maline at the Loan Shooting.

(13:01):
This has been something that every time I've heard the
word mailman or Carl or a loan over the last
ten years, I've thought to myself, Carl Malian at the
Loan shooting too.

Speaker 18 (13:13):
Conny as George from the Valley encourage with the Rats,
I think that we're gonna see. What we're gonna see
is a lot of five hundred baseball. But I think
they're way more likely to go on a long winning
streak than a long losing streak, and that'll be the difference.
So a couple couple, you know, seven eight game winning
streaks put US fourteen games above five hundred. Playoffs, World Series.
I see it all coming, can't wait.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Okay, there you go. Saw last night George from the
Valley I think was in Vegas for Monday Night roll.
Where'd you see that? There was a sign that someone
was holding and it said nineteen and sixty nine days
since Ohi've stayed as beat Michigan. It was at the
as Monday Night rolling a sign up and I'm like,
that has to be George.

Speaker 9 (13:50):
Is that Ricko? It was not rick Was he clapping
in the press box again?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Probably unprofessional last night, one hundred percent with some of
those mouses.

Speaker 7 (13:58):
Beautiful day on this beautiful Tuesday, it's big hand. What's
going on? Fellas?

Speaker 16 (14:04):
Happy to hear from you, I think with the first pick,
we're gonna take the tackle guard center gel.

Speaker 9 (14:12):
Oh, listen, big hen. If they take Grey's Abel, I'm
gonna freak out.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
That's one in the clubhouse.

Speaker 9 (14:17):
I am to freak out if they take Gray's Abel.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Dan says.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
On plate discipline conversations over positional defense, carry our Pennant
Downtown copg okay, love each other.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Thank you, Jim.

Speaker 9 (14:35):
I didn't know I got that part. It was the
I don't know if you're being serious about COPD that
I was concerned about.

Speaker 19 (14:43):
Hey guys, it's Ken from the Legs here, and I'd
like to see the Bengals go up and take John
Wall at seventeen.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Yeah, man, John is Mark here?

Speaker 19 (14:54):
Uh yeah, And I was just trying to get my
flowers from often because I think that had David Bell
been there managing, they would only put up twenty two
runs on Sunday. So anyways, I know that we go
back and forth, but I'd just like to get.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
My Yeah, thank you, thanks Mark.

Speaker 12 (15:15):
Hey man, it's coach.

Speaker 10 (15:18):
Can tell you something about a special player named Savior.

Speaker 19 (15:22):
Watch how gooes that ring sound? At seventeen?

Speaker 17 (15:26):
I take Xavier watch, he's a special player.

Speaker 8 (15:28):
He plays special teams, and he makes special plays.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Coach Man. Great to hear from you, Hey.

Speaker 7 (15:36):

Speaker 20 (15:57):

Speaker 1 (15:59):
