Speaker 2 (00:26):
Oh yeah, this the Wade Miley Show. Your dreams were
your ticket? Nobody? The Reds are back.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
I thought we were walcome to Wade Miley. Back him too,
since he three sixty feels like twenty twenty in.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Here we go at El Central. You've officially been put
on notice notice since he three sixty thanks to Skyline
comes the local ball Club.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station. You listen to the
iHeartRadio app as well. Leave us a talk back because
if you saw anything that happened last night, you know
that this is the taking off point. You know that
we are now cleared for takeoff. The runway has been cleared.
There was a little bit of a delay. Got to
the airport, flight got delayed.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
ESA line long.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
TSA line was long. You got out on the runway,
storm came in, they had to empty the plane. You
went back into the Was it the tarmac. Yeah, you
went and sat back in there and then you finally boarded.
And last night TJ. Friedel came out and he said
clear for takeoff. Light number twenty nine. The season starts now,
(01:39):
Reds win. Yeah, thirty and thirty two. Yeah, you know
what they say. What It takes a manager about sixty
two games to get a feel for the club. And
now today, yes, today, yes, today, a chance to beat
these Hawaukee Brewers in a series for the first time
(02:02):
since twenty twenty two, and an opportunity come on to
stop the thirty eight series losing streak when losing game one.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
That's right, that's right today at the ballpark. Happy days
are here again just south of our Kenwood studio. Come on,
the Reds have a chance to end both of those
streaks when they send Andrew Abbott to the mound against
the Milwaukee Brewers in twelve forty thirty eight minutes from now,
(02:32):
thirty eight minutes from now, Reds Brewers with so much
on the line. Thanks to TJ.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Friedol last night clearing this season for takeoff, Tyler Stevenson
was cleared for takeoff last night. Willie Beeman was cleared
for takeoff last night, hunter Green was grounded. Oh, no,
Hunter Green has been grounded. There was a mechanical issue.
Mechanical issue with Hunter Green. Two starts after coming off
(02:59):
the inn list. Hunter Green is back on the injured list,
making room for Wade Miley. You know, Wade probably worked
out pretty good in this deal hit the market yesterday,
signed to a one year deal today by the same
team he was gone from.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
That's awesome, man.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Shout out to Wade Miley. We will talk about Hunter
Green today. There's a lot of talk out there. Maybe
was he did he come back too soon? Certainly didn't
look as sharp in the couple starts he was able
to have before going back on the injured list. We
talked to Bob Mangin a couple of weeks ago about
groin injuries and how pesky they can be, and now
(03:37):
you worry about re injuring. You'll hear Terry Francona after
the game last night talking about Hunter Green as well.
But before we get into Hunter Green Austin and before
we dive in everything else going on in the sports world.
We'll do that at the start of hour two today
because the Reds do play at twelve forty, so we
got to get everything out from a Reds standpoint before
we get to all of that. In recapping last night's
(03:59):
fo to victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, the Cincinnati Reds
did so thanks to a two run home run from
Tyler Stevenson that tied the game in the fourth. Connor
Joe Future World Series MVP. Come on, Connor Joe the
con Man when they write the story about how the
Reds turned this season around, I can only imagine the
(04:23):
thirty for thirty on Connor Joe, Garrett Hampson. I just
that's what keeps coming back to me when the world
doubted Hampson and Joe didn't listen man. Connor Joe hit
a sackfly last night. Yes, the Reds last night, got
a runner on, got the runner over, and then got
(04:44):
the runner in with the sackfly that is still allowed
in baseball. Will Benson added an insurance run in the
eighth inning. That insurance run was needed. Ellie de la
Cruz did have an air which opened the door for
what could have been disaster last night until TJ.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Reached out the hand of Christian hand.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Of Christian Fellowship and brought a ball back Diege from
where we don't speak of. Come on, the ball was
destined to go over the fence. The game was going
to be tied, and we know about extra inning games
with the Cincinnati Reds. Yep, they don't go well. Instead,
the Reds put a stop to one of the longest
winning streaks of the season in Major League Baseball. The
(05:27):
Brewers had won eight in a row. That streak is done.
They beat Freddy Peralta last night, who gave up three
runs over six innings, Hunter Green five innings to earned runs.
He did strike out seven batters last night, and then
your normal Barlow Ashcraft sante On Pegan combined to finish
the Milwaukee Brewers off last night in a game Austin.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
As you were there, I was.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
That really feels like one of those games you point
to and say, remember when you know.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I know, we're we're making fun of this, but in
all seriousness, like the way that this season has gone,
they're not an exciting ball club. They don't steal bases,
they don't hit a bunch of homers, they're not good defensively,
they're just ma. They don't have a bunch of guys
(06:19):
that hit for extra base hits and all season long,
they just haven't made the play. Hasn't been the moment
where it's like, dude, that was awesome. But last night
seeing him TJ Friedel perfectly time that jump and save
(06:40):
Elie de la Cruz after he had issued an error
to put the the tying run at the plate. To
see him jump up and make that catchily Opegama shocked.
It just feels good to have something go right. Yep. Like,
(07:00):
in all seriousness, nobody feels better about the Reds today
than they did yesterday, But it just feels good to
have something cool happen for your team, doesn't it. I agree,
like that was awesome. I was out there in right
field and from my angle, I thought the ball was
gonna be like three or four rows deep. There was
a collective I don't know the correct It was just
(07:23):
a gasp. Yeah, it was that from the stadium, and
I start thinking, all right, probably gonna go to extras,
probably gonna lose. I don't know what I'm gonna say.
And then from my angle, all I could see was
TJ's glove come up, catch the ball and then disappear again.
It was so awesome from where I was sitting and
(07:46):
the place went bonkers, awesome crowded. The crowd last night
over twenty five thousand. You think I thought it was closer.
I thought it was closer to thirty thousand. To be honest,
it was pretty packed. Was it enough for them to
make it a to the roster?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Now?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Somebody told me that the tickets for last night were
a bunch of the good grades tickets.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Oh well, good. That means there's a lot of smart
folks here, which means they were free tickets. So that's
not going to help them.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Maybe maybe the Reds lost money on that, because if
you remember three to one night, Yeah, if you remember
thee from Nick Krawl, if revenues are up, you have
more money, and I think that's what you're looking at.
Hopefully we get off to a good start like we
did in twenty three and add some dry powder in
(08:37):
the middle of the season. Crawl is such a cloud.
So just remember Reds fans, if you want Nick Krawl
and company to spend money, you have to buy tickets
and go.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
To the game. That's what they're telling If you buy it,
stars will come either way. Honestly, it just feels good
to win one, and it will and It was cool
to see a moment like that, like we just we
haven't had those. The Reds going into last night were
five and twenty five. When the opposing team scored first
(09:13):
five and twenty five, and they found a way to
win that last night after giving up an early run
to Milwaukee early two runs to Milwaukee last night.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
That was awesome until that Tyler Stevenson home run. Fun
just fun to win.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
It felt bleak until Stevenson hit that home run. Let's
go and two runs? What are we gonna do? How
are we gonna score anymore? It also adds and again
I thought in watching last night, nice to see a
crowd like that.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
It's nice to see a win.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
It does set up an opportunity today and we'll talk
about the lineup today and we're gonna talk about Andrew
Abbott and what's at stake. But it does give you
an opportunity to enjoy a Reds game. Doubles last night
from McClean, Steer and Daily crew. Who you're going to
take that? Home runs from Tyler Stevenson and Will Benson.
You're obviously gonna take that a sackfly again, didn't know
(10:08):
sackflies existed much with this team, Connor Joe added one,
Jude like, like you said, just good to see, Yeah,
fun to see. They bat out eight hits and they
give themselves an opportunity again today. The streak is at
thirty eight when they have lost game one of a series.
This team, this club has lost thirty eight consecutive series.
(10:31):
That's on the line today, and they haven't won a
series against Milwaukee since twenty twenty two.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
Wild, you can do both of those today.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Let me tell you what, Austin, You win a game
off robin a home run, and then you get these
two monkeys off your back. Come on, wouldn't want to
be the one doubting him then? Wouldn't want to be
the one doubting him then? And you had surely and
I surely wouldn't want to be the Arizona Diamondbacks, Oh,
coming into town.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
After that second leg of a road trip for them
and a weekend. Yeah, I believe the weather is supposed
to be wonderful for the old red legs. So I
mean you just look at it and you're like, all right,
maybe they can here, they come, here, they come. But
honest to God, though about today, I mean, you have
(11:19):
Andrew Rabbit going. He's been awesome. Yeah, should should have
been the picture of the month. Like I do, feel like,
you know, not to overanalyze every single thing that they do,
but you mentioned it, get the monkey off their back
about the Brewers. If they're able to do that today,
you got your best picture pitching like that would be
that would be big for them, especially with an off
(11:40):
day tomorrow. And unfortunately they're probably gonna be without Eli
for the whole series with Arizona. But maybe it's not
the worst thing in the world for him. Get some time.
He's been solid, he's been fine. But if he's able
to spend a couple of days with his family and
get closure and visit home and just kind of rest
(12:01):
for a couple of days, maybe that'll be good for him. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
Andrew Abbot, who's going today, somehow did not win Pitcher
of the Month in the National League in May. Crazy
He made six starts, thirty two and two thirds innings,
thirty three strikeouts and an ERA of point five to five.
That was somehow not good enough to win Pitcher of
the Month in the month of May. No idea how
that happens. But Andrew Abbott looks to continue on what's
(12:25):
been an unbelievable stretch. He makes his tenth start of
the season today. Obviously, the news that no one wants
to hear was the news last night of Hunter Green,
who was placed on the fifteen day injured list with
a right groin strain, and in an ensuing move, the
Red signed to a one year major league contract left
(12:49):
handed pitcher Wade Miley m hm. In all honesty, the
Hunter Green thing just sucks, yeah, because I mean, he
had a cy young start to the season and then
he has the groin injury, and you think at the time, man,
you dodged a bullet because he what missed two starts,
(13:10):
and then he came back and he's able to go
to and last night it wasn't vintage Hunter Green, but
it was solid Hunter Green. To see him now go
on the fifteen day injured list and you'll hear Terry
Francona talk about that injury. But it's just it's a
little worrisome to me, Austin, when you talk about that
(13:32):
same leg and the same type of injury for a
starting pitcher who's driving off that consistently.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
I believe he also mentioned today that it might have
started leaking into his back a little bit, which if
you're not pitching at one hundred percent you kind of
maybe not even realizing it. Try to protect it and
maybe change a little bit, and maybe that's why we
saw a hunter at times struggle to throw strikes in
his previous appearances. By the way, last night he was
(13:58):
unbelievable strike throwing wise. Yeah, he was twenty three of
twenty three first pitch strikes to batters he faced.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
For what it's worth, is pretty amazing. Terry Francona alluded
to this. They didn't even need to see MRI results
to put him on the fifteen day.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yeah, for what it's worth.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
With the groin and then creeping into the back, Frankcona
said that there wasn't even a point in waiting for
the MRI results. We knew what we had to do
and getting him healthy is obviously the biggest priority. You're
you're gonna have the argument of did you bring him
back too quick? It's hard with that type of injury,
and Bob Mangean from Novacare talk to us about that,
(14:38):
about the risk of re injury and what that could
look like. But certainly something to watch as it pertains
to the ace of the Cincinnati Reds.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
What does it say about Chase Petty that they went
to Wade Miley.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Yeah, I haven't seen great stuff.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
He hasn't been great in Louisville. Again, And just to
circle back to the previous conversation this week about Chase Burns,
you know, I don't know exactly what they're looking for
in double A. I would love to know the answer
to that, and maybe they'll share it, maybe they won't.
(15:16):
I would hope that that's been shared with Chase Burns,
that he knows what they would need to see from him.
But you know, if could Hunter is going to be
down for a couple of weeks, could.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
You imagine the series against Arizona or a start against
Cleveland and they gave the ball to Chase Burns.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, I mean it'd be exciting, But I don't want
to clarify. I don't feel like Chase Burns can come
to the big leagues right now, be ready to go. Well,
Chase Petty wasn't ready to go right so I'm not
gotta opportunities. I'm not saying Chase Burns needs to be
up here this weekend. What I'm saying is you know,
if Wade Miley gets hurt, or if Lodolo has a
(15:56):
flare up or something happens, what's your next move? Is
it going to be Chase Petty? And then after that
who do you trust out of the rotation in Louisville.
It just again thinking forward. If a player gets hurt,
gets stinged up, somebody you know has a baby, or
somebody gets sick, or something something happens where somebody has
(16:16):
to miss multiple starts and Hunter's going to miss two
weeks at least, I'd feel a little bit better about
the backup plan if your best picture in the system
was getting reps at Triple A. I know that's hypothetical,
but just trying to think forward in the domino effect
of things that could happen, I would like to see
Chase Burns now with the injury to Hunter Green. Yeah,
(16:38):
the inconsistency of Chase Petty and the unknown of Wade
Miley to get to Triple A sooner rather than later,
so that you have another potential backup plan if things
go south on the mound.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Yeah, more opportunities is never a bad thing. Let's do this,
let's break, let's come back. We'll get a little Terry
franc on audio. We'll preview today's game, then we'll get
some phone calls. Sa all before first pitch since he
three to sixty ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station, a
service of Skyline Chile.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Hey, Alexa, here's the right handers to unpitch swinging. It
is crank center field. Well hit that goes Friedel on
the track at the wall.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Leaps and he caught it. I don't believe it.
Speaker 6 (17:24):
A game saving Cats by TJ.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Friedel? Are you kidding?
Speaker 7 (17:32):
He went up and wrapped it for the final out
of the full game and that zed Reds went at
four to two over the Brewers.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
That is how it sounded last night, TJ. Friedel saving
the game and the win for the Cincinnati Reds. We
welcome you back to Cincy three to sixty thanks to
our friends at Skyline Chile. Thank you for listening on
ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station. Use the iHeartRadio app
as well. Leave us a talk back, get to those
in our number two. Let's get a little Terry Francona
(18:05):
here Austin from last night's post game with the Reds
win and moving forward to today of.
Speaker 8 (18:12):
Emotions in that ninth inning with Elie's air and then
Freedom making that great home run saving catch.
Speaker 9 (18:20):
I think I threw up in my mouth, like that's
I'm not even sure how to describe it. I mean,
I mean, you always wait till the end because but
you know, he looked like he's thauntable good, he's in command,
he's saw on strikes, working ahead, and then all of
(18:41):
a sudden that ball leaves the bat and we couldn't
tell Freedo caught it. We're just kind of going on
his body language. That was certainly a nice feeling. You
may have seen a grown man cry.
Speaker 8 (18:55):
I know when a barrage of runs tonight. But what
did you like about your offense?
Speaker 9 (18:59):
Well, I don't think you're gonna get a barrage of
That guy means one of the best there is, and
we fortunately struggling a couple of hits together, one to
home run, because he's about as good as they come.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
The RS are a big rival schist in this series,
but how big you it just to take a game
from them after having a couple of days in Rownot.
Speaker 9 (19:19):
Yeah, it's been a it's been a couple of tough
days for us. I agree, and you know they they
keep having energy and not. I use that word a lot,
but sometimes you know, that's one of the better things
you can do because sometimes we're not getting hits. You're
not getting hits, not because they're not trying and everything.
Just you know, I'm as thrilled from a claim because
(19:41):
he went out on early VP day and he hit
the ball to right field and tried to stay on
balanced and then he finally rifled one there in a
huge I.
Speaker 4 (19:47):
Bet, and then that's happening the nice Oh yeah I did, Yeah,
I did. Yeah, I agree. You had to run Terry.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
You had two guys all Ellie went to the last.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
And see though with the home runner, right, is that
what it took nine? Yeah, I mean he climbed the
ladder so well.
Speaker 9 (20:12):
I mean it's it's one thing to say, like, you know,
I'm going to pitch up here, and sometimes guys will
do it.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
A little bit.
Speaker 9 (20:20):
Once he saw that he could do that and he
could stay there and then he could go low with
something off speed, it was it was pretty impressive.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
Expressive hunter first day strike to every day. Yeah, I know,
that's that's I think DJ.
Speaker 9 (20:39):
If you told I'm sure DJ knows that, but he'll
go home smiling because of that.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Now, on another note, we had to take Hunter.
Speaker 9 (20:46):
Out because he felt the groin the last couple of
pitches in that fifth inning, so that's why he came
out of the game.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
All right.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
So that obviously leads to the news today with Hunter
Green going on the fifteen day injured list. Terry Francona
talked about the groin, also talked about it creeping into
the lower back, as Charlie Goldsmith reported, and basically Terry
Francona said, we didn't even need to see the MRI
to know that we had to put him on the
injured list. So that is where things stand. The coinciding
(21:16):
move was signing Wade Miley to a one year deal,
so he is back now with the Cincinnati Reds, who
are getting ready for Day Baseball twelve forty first pitch
today at Great American Ballpark. Without being said, Austin, do
we have a lineup for how the Reds look to
break this losing strike?
Speaker 2 (21:34):
We sure do, Ton, We have a lineup here on
Sincy three to sixty. Here's how the local ball club
will line up for game sixty three of one sixty two.
We now have less than one hundred games to go.
It'll be DJ Friedel, the hero from just a few
hours ago, leading off playing center field, Santiago Hospital. Get
(21:58):
him back into two. Hale returns to the two hole.
He plays third base today. Ellie Day La Cruz will
bat third and play shortstop. This will be his last
game before he goes back home to the Dominican Republic
after today's game. The cleanup hitter is Tyler Stevenson. By
the way, Ellie will be back in a few days.
He is going to continue his career with the Reds.
To clarify, Tyler Stevenson bats fourth. He's the DH. Spencer
(22:22):
Steer bats fifth. He's batting first base. He's it know what,
let me restart leading off playing center field. That's TJ
Friedel batting second Today. Tone the third baseman Santiago Espinal.
Ellie Day La Cruz will bat third. He's the short stop.
The cleanup hitter is the DH. Tyler Stevenson batting fifth
(22:42):
is first baseman Spencer Steer. The sixth batter is Connor Joe.
He plays left field today, batting seventh in catching Jose
Trevino and batting eighth, the right fielder Will Benson finishing
things up with the nine batter and second baseman Matt McClain.
That's with Andrew Abbotts, the left hander on the mound.
(23:04):
What's more for Cincinnati, it's Freedo Espinal day, La Cruz, Stevenson, Steer,
Joe Travino, Benson, McClain with Abbotts on the mount.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Interesting, very interesting because is it a bullpen day for
the Brewers.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
As of last night, they did not announce who was
going to be seen right now?
Speaker 10 (23:24):
D L.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Hall.
Speaker 11 (23:25):
D L.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Hall, who is a relief pitcher, Yes, very very small
sample size right now. He has played in two games
this year. On the twenty sixth of May, he went
two and a third against Boston, did allow one on run.
And on Friday, May thirtieth in Philadelphia, he actually started
(23:46):
that game, pitched three innings of no hit, no run baseball.
So I watched a little bit of that game that
he pitched against Philadelphia. He is a left hander. Will
Benson's playing against a lefty? Yeah, but Will Benson's deep
in the lineup. If he's an opener, maybe he goes
two innings. You know, maybe the Reds can you know,
hop on him a little bit early.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
So Andrew Abbot, we'll see verst A bullpen day for
the Brewers with all this on the line, what an
opportunity today for the Red Legs.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
I don't are you suggesting that a bullpen day should mean?
What do you? What do you mean?
Speaker 12 (24:20):
Well?
Speaker 3 (24:20):
I just think if you look at the pitching matchup,
you would say then the Reds clearly have an edge
today because Andrew Rabbit's on the mountain.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Okay, I think you could say that about anybody not
named Paul Skeen's on the other side. I mean, I
seriously think that's how good Andrew Abbott has been.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
Yeah, speaking of Paul Skeens, we'll talk about him.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
We got a lot to talk about with Skens as well.
Um can't you can't have it all in life, man, Nope,
you just can't.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
He surely does not right now with the team that
he is stuck on. Let's take a break, let's come back.
Let's get your phone calls before first pitch happens. Five
to one to three.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
You got Mark and Mark on hold.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
Seven nine, fifteen thirty. It's since he three sixty on
fifteen thirty. Cincinnati Sports Station thanks to Skyline Chile.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Camping is such an adventure. I love others.
Speaker 13 (25:05):
In fifteen thirty.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Welcome Back, Cincy three to sixty Wednesday edition thanks to
Skyline Chili on ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station, Thanks.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
For listening along.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
Red's Brewers coming up in twelve forty first pitch from
Great American Ballpark. Will keep you updated with that throughout
the afternoon. Before we go any further, let's open up
the phone lines for the first time today. Mark is
calling from Florence.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
What's up? Mark?
Speaker 11 (25:39):
Hey, Hey, TJ Friedo. He he deled Elie out last night.
That was a good thing. Yeah, but if I see
Ellie at shortstop next year.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I quit.
Speaker 11 (25:48):
I'm done cuz I'm tired of seeing these airs on
routine plays. Yeah, I man, I mean, at this point
in his career, he shouldn't be making those. Yeah, that's fair,
I mean, And then uh, I got a Will Benson comments.
(26:08):
I mean, I'm making some progress with him. I wanted
him to start hitting that high outside pitch to left
center field, and he did that last night. Now I
just need one more adjustment from him, that inside pitch
that he swings over top of or he takes it
for a strike, got figured out how to get that pitch.
Then I think, I think, yo, I think you'll be okay.
(26:30):
And my last point when I see kind of Joe
in this lineup, when I see that hamp what was
it Hampson whatever? This guy. Yeah, whenever I see them
two guys in the in the lineup, it just makes
me say, hey, I can't wait till the nick crawl
ears over with. It will be over with at some
point in life, but I'm looking forward to that day
(26:53):
because there's no way resigns shouldn't be getting nosy back.
I mean, we saw what home runs for you a
gameme last night, so a uh, I think were on
the same page with that one. So I get all
the list to the rest of the show.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, Mark, I appreciate it. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
I do think, you know, when when looking at what
Will Benson has done, I thought last night was his
most impressive home run this year because of the ability
to take it opposite field.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Yeah, I guess. I don't think he made contact on
any of his other at bats. Yeah, I'm just from legit.
Don't know if he made contact on any swing he
took except the home run.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
But if you look at you know, what can a
player do? And I think you look at what they
were able to do last night collectively, you know, Stevenson
goes opposite field for the home run, Benson goes opposite
field for the home run. That is at least a
step in the right direction that you want to see
from your ball club and players on that club.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Speaking of Ellie, two different defensive metrics range or outs
above average. According to Baseball Savant, he is at minus four.
That is the ninth percent isle of Major League Baseball.
That is very bad. As far as defensive runs saved,
he is right now at minus two, which is the
(28:11):
worst among any player that has played shortstop for the
Reds this season. Now, there's only been three Hampson espen
on day La Cruz, and he's obviously played many more
innings than the other guys, but his defensive run saved
is at minus two, So are not having a good
(28:32):
defensive season. The numbers would back that up. Uh, Marcus,
what's going on?
Speaker 14 (28:39):
Oh Mama, there goes that man again. Man, I watching
that he can't he kept going back.
Speaker 15 (28:48):
I said, he hits this.
Speaker 14 (28:49):
I'm calling it of all people Seeds done that would
that would have done it like that? That was the
final now on the coffin if that would have went out.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
At you, but it would have been, like I said,
it would have just tied the game, but it would
have felt like a loss already.
Speaker 15 (29:08):
Yes, So right now? Is he right now or is
he on his way?
Speaker 14 (29:14):
Do you think is an All Star?
Speaker 3 (29:18):
I think he's probably on his way. You know, he's
he's giving them so much defensively, he's also hitting above
three hundred. He's I think he's near the top second
or third on the team in RBIs.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
I would I would be hard.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Pressed to find another player on this team that is
given more and done so consistently in the way that TJ.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Friedl has done. When I think about that, I try
to think about who are the other players that could
you know, beat him out. I mean, Pete crow Armstrong
is going to start for the National League, Pete O'Neill
Cruz having a pretty solid season as well for Pittsburgh,
as is Andy Pajez from the Dodgers. So I do
(30:05):
think it'll be tough. But if he continues to play
this consistently, I don't know how you don't don't make
him an All Star. He's playing at that level for sure.
Speaker 14 (30:14):
Yeah, because right now, I mean the only thing he
lacks is obviously his arm strength. But not every center
beater can be a pe crow armstrong with that cannon
up an arm that kid's got.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Yeah, I mean TJ right now leads all center fielders
in average and on base percentage. Yeah, so clearly, I
mean he's among the best when it comes to that.
He's everything you want in a lead off hitter, top
four in doubles as well.
Speaker 15 (30:39):
So and also too.
Speaker 14 (30:40):
Do you think if Abbott has six starts, has a
zero zero zero, it has three no hitters, he might
get a picture of them off.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
It might be good enough for runner up. Again, I
think if you swap those no hitters with perfect games,
then yes.
Speaker 14 (30:55):
Yeah, because they put the stats between him and Robbie
Ray who won it.
Speaker 15 (31:00):
It.
Speaker 14 (31:00):
I mean, Robby Ray did have more innings, like more shrikeouts,
but that e ra A was almost a full run more.
Speaker 11 (31:06):
Than Avas was.
Speaker 14 (31:07):
Yeah, and I just that was so confusing to me.
But my last thing, because you guys brought up yesterday
about that Tim mcgrawl kick bull Bear Combo, I went
to a show about six seven years ago that might
be the weirdest air quotes suggested here country Concert. It
was up at Wrigley Field and it was a at
(31:28):
the time, a new upcoming country artist named Chris Lane, Nelly,
the back Street Boys, and Florida Georgia.
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Ali, I bet it was awesome. Yeah, that's a lot
going on Florida Georgia. Line and Nelly had a couple
of collapsed and I mean that was good. That's good stuff.
Speaker 11 (31:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (31:48):
But then but then you throw a Basty Boys as
a big monkey engine there. That is that I gotta
be the weirdest country Like I said, air quotes Country Concert.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Ever, I'm a big fgl guy, so I would have
loved the tasting. Lauric, thank you man.
Speaker 16 (32:03):
Yeah, no, problect, that's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
You remember those Nelly songs of Florida Georgia.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
Oh man, Now I'm looking up. I believe according to
I'm looking on ESPN their statistics, I think you have
to have ten starts uh to qualify for their pitching
statistics category. Here, from a starting standpoint after today as
he currently sits, Andrew Abbitt would qualify as the second
(32:29):
best era in all of baseball, all of baseball. Do
you know who's number seven, Austin, I don't, Tyler Maley.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Oh yeah, I forgot Tyler. He has started.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Thirteen games, He's got a two point two e RA
and has thrown three and forty two pitches up to
this point, so really working the zone and the pitch count.
But Andrew Abbott would qualify after today. With this current
Ray is the second best in all of baseball.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Tyler Maley, he is. He's been that that good has
Andrew Abbott? You miss, Tyler Maley?
Speaker 11 (33:06):
I do.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
I missed the excitement around those starts. You know, Lodolo's
kind of starting to turn into.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Malley a little bit.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
I would agree with that. I think that's an accurate assessment. Yeah,
the way he works around the zone.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
Lodolo just never looks comfortable. Nope, looks like he's got
bed bugs, you know, don't.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
Look comfortable watching the TV. Wade Miley does not look
like he was expecting to be in a major league
baseball uniform today.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Yeah, worked out pretty well for Wade. I was thinking
about this leaving the ballpark last night, that you know,
if they have to put Hunter on the injured list,
there's kind of an easy solution right away. I mean
that being said, Wade was getting tattooed down at so
come on up, So come on up. Maybe that's what
Chase Burns needs a deal. Who do you trust? See
(33:50):
already get up to about six and then he'll get
an opportunity. Who do you trust? One start for your life,
Chase Petty or Wade Miley. And you have been very goodness,
you've been maybe the biggest Wade Miley hater of Yes,
not a hater, just saying I can hit off of him,
which is wrong in a lie. I would take Wade
Miley still me too. Marcus brought up a hit off Chase.
(34:12):
I don't think so. No, you could try to work
a walk. Hell no, you could. You could work a walk.
Just uh, you could absolutely work a walk. Marcus brought
up TJ.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Friedel and again the statistics from all center fielders batting average,
on base percentages near the top. What he's done defensively,
it makes it even more maddening the whole way the
game ended against the Brewers in Game one because Garrett Hampson.
Because if if you just find a way to get
a runner on you turn the lineup over to Friedel,
who's your best option right now? I think in a
(34:42):
clutch situation. But we do have some TJ. Friedel audio
I believe Austin from after last night's win for the
Cincinnati Reds.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Yeah, pretty funny stuff here with TJ.
Speaker 4 (34:54):
How about that?
Speaker 17 (34:58):
But I knew it was hit well off the bat,
like I told Jim, and I was kind of just
tracking it, and I think it was probably when I
was coming close to the warning track that I was like,
I could have a chance at this. You know it's
it's you know, it's possible, so anything is possible. Oh
this is tops. Yeah, yeah, this, I think this tops
(35:20):
my other walk offs for sure. Like this was to
end a game like that, like you dream of that
as a kid as an outfielder growing up in your backyard,
robbing home runs and stuff like you always dream of walkoffs,
But but ending it like that was special that we
worked on yesterday. We worked on it literally yesterday and
last twenty twenty three when I robbed that home run
(35:41):
and center, we worked on it that day and then
I went out and robbed it, and then and then
we worked on it yesterday, And she still happens.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Maybe we should work on more often what it was.
Speaker 17 (35:55):
You're right, yeah, yeah, yeah in twenty three, you're right, CC,
Like we just find out field drills to mix in
when the infielders taking grun balls. So we'll work on
different stuff and every now and then we'll pop out
some broldtme.
Speaker 18 (36:08):
Runs time with them over the years to take a
win from them, sat their winning streak and you're this creek.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
All that out port was just to get this.
Speaker 17 (36:20):
Yeah, it was a huge win, you know, in all aspects,
and I think for us that was just a complete
team win where you know, you start off, you're down,
you battle back, you battle out of that, and then
you add on. The pitching was incredible, like it's been
just shutting it down, especially late endings like that, and
I think just kind of getting the lead, having that
one run lead and then the insurance by Benson. I
(36:41):
mean that home run was incredible.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Just sticking with it throughout the day.
Speaker 17 (36:44):
You know, it's it's hard playing this game, and just
to stay with it, grind out of bats and then
hit a backside line drive like that. It's a lot
of testament to him and how hard he works.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
All right, So that is some TJ.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Friedo from last night that obviously takes the cake for
him and really cool to hear that they literally worked
on that before the game and then in a big
time moment like that, it comes up with an opportunity
and TJ. Friedo certainly made the most of it. Let's
take one more break here in our number one. When
we get back, we'll kind of put a bow on
everything with the Cincinnati Reds. We'll look around the rest
of Major League Baseball and kick things off to hour

UH.
Speaker 3 (38:57):
In Major League Baseball, with where the cincinnat Red sid
obviously still at thirty and thirty two, that's fourth place
in the National League Central. If you look around what
everyone else in the Central did last night, the Cubs
continue to win, so the Reds remain nine games back
going into play today. The Saint Louis Cardinals lost yesterday.
(39:18):
That's their second consecutive loss, so the Cubs now have
a five game lead when it comes to the NL Central.
The Pittsburgh Pirates now twenty two and thirty nine after
another loss. We'll get to in just a second. They're
sixteen and a half games out. Two other divisions where
the leads are bigger from the gap to one to two.
The Yankees possess a six and a half game lead
(39:40):
on the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Detroit Tigers at
forty and twenty two hold a six game lead on
the Minnesota Twins. Outside of that, a lot of close
races in Major League Baseball. One game separates the Dodgers
from the San Diego Padres, half game separates the New
York Mets from the Philadelphia Phillies, and a half game
(40:02):
separates the Houston Astros from the Seattle Mariners. That is
where things stand in Major League Baseball. We've talked about
them before, Austin, But now forty wins for the Detroit Tigers.
Does that team, in your opinion, have staying power throughout
the season. Yes, starting pitching is fantastic, but they mash
as well.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
Yeah. The hit well, I mean they put up some runs,
they hit some home runs. They even got you know,
jave Baya's movies in center field to be productive offensively,
so they've unlocked something with him.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
So yeah, the Detroit Tigers. Hard to believe forty wins
already in Major League Baseball. One other statistic from yesterday.
The Pittsburgh Pirates lost yesterday in a game in which
Paul Skeins pitched, and it's not the first time they've lost.
(40:52):
Paul Skeens is now four and six on the year.
He has six losses on the young Major League Baseball season. Yet,
possess this is just a two point zero five ERA. Yesterday,
Paul Skins pitched eight innings, three hits, one run, eight
strikeouts and got the loss. What do you make of
(41:14):
Paul Skins right now? I mean that was a game,
I believe his last couple starts. There was a one
nothing loss in which he went eight innings and gave
up one run against the Philadelphia Phillies. He's been phenomenal
and has very little to show for it.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
You Know, it's tough because I think he's a likable
guy and he's tough scenes. It's tough scenes Paul Skins,
because I do think he's a likable guy. But he
plays for Pittsburgh, So I really enjoy the failure. Yeah,
but it's just a reminder you can't have it all.
You can't have you can't be the best pitcher in
baseball with the model girlfriend, and he can't make a
(41:55):
bunch of money and he can't win baseball games. They
won't give him a contract extension in Pittsburgh. They can't
win games with Pittsburgh. So that's gonna be tough for
him personally. But in the meantime, I love watching him pitch.
He's gonna sign a half billion dollar deal one of
these days.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
He's going to and he he very likely could end
up this year with like fifteen or twenty losses in
Winnesai Young.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
Yeah, Yeah, it's kind of like Gosho was at a
couple of years ago for the Mets. Noah Cinderguard Is
it him? Or why am I blanking on the other
guy that pitched for them? The gram maybe was with him?
So awesome and zero a losing record and yeah, no
run support whatsoever. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
In his six losses this year, he did get beat
up by the Saint Louis Cardinals, which he's never beat
in his major League baseball career, his second loss seven
innings to run Baseball. He gave up two runs over
six innings against the Miami Marlins. He gave up two
runs and a loss to Saint Louis over six one run,
(42:58):
and a loss to the Mets over six one run
and a loss to the Phillies over eight innings, and
then last night one run over eight innings in a
loss to the Astros. Just incredible, incredible to think about
from Paul Skins, super talented and somehow the Reds keep
avoiding him.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Yeah, I'm in favor of that. You know, maybe that's
a Nick Crawl master class. I have no idea. Who's
some sort of reason that, you know, some sort of
data point that he's got to avoid Paul Skiings but
they haven't really you know, up until last night, had
to face a bunch of aces. I think they faced
Logan Web twice early because the way the schedule worked
(43:37):
with the Giants playing them back to back, but Peralta
last night was the ace. They haven't really faced a
ton of aces so far this season. I think the
only only one that comes to mind is Nathany Evaldi.
He pitched that complete Game one nothing.
Speaker 3 (43:52):
But also shout out to the Colorado Rockies, who yesterday
up there twenty two straight series loss streak with back
to back wins against the Miami Marlins.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
What do you think sports talk radio is like in Miami?
Speaker 3 (44:11):
Did you see the crowd on hand for Game one
of Marlins Rockies? I did, because people estimated that there was. Honestly,
I think, like a I did this on on social media,
that there was like eleven hundred people in the actual stadium. Yeah,
that's incredible.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
The attendance announced in game one was five ninety four.
There was no chance that that was the actual number.
In game two, the announced attendance was seven thousand, five
hundred and eighty three. Also no chance. And they are
playing right now. Kyle Freeland on the Bomp and the
(44:49):
Rockies are winning. They covered. I don't know if you
saw this or not, Tone, but over the last couple
of days, the Rockies have two wins Scotti Scheffler has zero,
so I know you referenced that stat Scheffler the other day.
Speaker 3 (45:05):
I love Rockies interim manager Warren Schaeffer said this last
night these games. Warren, Yeah, he said that was big
time for the boys to get their first series win.
Hell yeah, who would have known it wouldn't come till June.
But the time is now and I'm happy for that.
That's awesome, fantastic shout out to the Colorado Rockies series win.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
Seriously, though, do you think, let's say we were in Miami,
Oh man, what do we I admittedly have not listened
to Miami sports talk radio. What do you think they'd
talk about what dominates the headlines in Miami? Is it
the heat? I would imagine Dolphins heat, then Dolphins. Yeah,
it can't be the Marlins? Is that like number one?
(45:48):
I would think? So it's definitely not the Marlins. Would
it be FC Miami? That would be uh, inter Miami.
Inter Miami probably get a little bit of run especially, Yeah,
that and just in general, the demographics of the population
down there is probably a lot more interested in soccer. Yeah.
(46:10):
Florida Panthers, Oh that's true. They're not in Miami though.
Are Where are the Panthers located? They're up in like
they're in like a weird part of Florida, Sunrise, Florida. Yeah, okay,
but I would imagine.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
They're kind of like in the middle of nowhere, right,
I think? So, how far is that from the Dakary Deck.
Oh well, Sunrise to Miami is thirty miles. Okay, so
you could That's what I was thinking of. It's just
way out of downtown Miami. Yeah, okay, so that's I'm
sure that's what they're taught. Speaking of the Docory deck,
(46:43):
we're going to get to something later in the show.
Pro Football Focus has listed their projected starting lineups Cincinnati No, no, no, no,
and conversation I have for sure, Nope, not interesting. What
we are going to do when we come back is
what we normally do to off a show. We're going
to look around what's going on with everything in sports. Obviously,
(47:04):
with the Reds playing early, we wanted to get that
out of the way, and uh, we'll do that to
kick off our number two with more of your phone
calls five one, three, seven, four nine, fifteen thirty centy

Speaker 2 (47:47):
Welcome back our number two, Cincy three sixty.
Speaker 3 (47:52):
ESPN fifteen thirty, Cincinnati Sports Station, Thanks to Cincy Shirts,
Thank you for listening. Red zero zero right now bottom
of the second. Major League Baseball MLB dot com has
their current list of top five in the MVP category
(48:14):
early on in the season. What is surprising about looking
at the NL MVP odds from MLB dot Com Austin,
the Cubs and the Dodgers not really surprising. They have
two each, and for the Cubs, both players at one
point another were acquired via a trade. Shoho Tani is
(48:37):
number one right now in NL MVP voting. Freddie Freeman
is number three, both Dodgers. There is a case right now.
I just saw this the other day Austin that Freddie
Freeman is having the best start to a season in
his baseball career, which is crazy to think about because
of how good he's been. Number two on the list
(48:58):
right now is pe crow Armstrong. Pete Crow Armstrong was
traded by the Mets to the Cubs, and last year
he wasn't great, But you want to talk about development,
there has been development that's happened with Pete crow Armstrong
and he is a legitimate MVP candidate right now.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
He is that good.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
I believe it was four years ago the Mets traded
Pete crow Armstrong for Hovey Baiez and Trevor Williams. Insane,
insane to think about. And the other is Kyle Tucker.
Corbyn Carol is number four on the list. But the
Cubs have two MVP legit candidates right now. They're obviously
(49:43):
playing at a high level, but both were acquired via
trade in one way or the other, which again goes
to show that if you are aggressive and you do
identify the talent correctly, you're obviously going to put yourself
and your team even a very good chance to succeed.
Speaker 2 (50:02):
Yeah, I mean Pa was traded for five years ago
in the middle of COVID as a young player at
the end of the twenty twenty season, so I don't
know that the Cubs looked at it and were like,
all right, this guy is going to be must you know,
must see TV. I don't even know if they wanted
him in the deal at the time according to some
(50:22):
of the reports, but he was a top one hundred
prospects so they threw him in and they were shedding
after the twenty sixteen World Series. But the difference I
think between the Reds and with most organizations in baseball
is the ability to get a young player and turn
him into something.
Speaker 3 (50:40):
Yeah, the development, which is where this team has lacked
by all accounts. We have to talk about cicadas for
a second. Oh okay, I have to do this. By
the way, I just gave the NL. Sorry Aaron Judge,
no surprise. Leading the al side of things, Bobby wit
Junior to Alexman three.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
Cal Raley was that the big dumper, the big dumper,
the big dumper Number four and Jose Ramirez number five.
Dumper's a beast to give you the ale, so big
fan of the dumper, the big Dumper.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
I read today that with the weather warming up, we're
about to see the the realness of the cicadas start
to come through two weeks for the next two weeks.
Do cicadas bother you?
Speaker 15 (51:24):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (51:25):
The little the brood, little orange guys, they don't bother
me at all. Now, the big ugly ones that come
up every year, they are like the size of your hand. Yeah,
that's satanic, Okay, I don't want anything to do with those.
These are once in I believe, seventeen years. Yeah, these
are the little orange guys. Those those guys are kind
of cool. Yeah. What about the sounds? Do the sounds
(51:46):
bother you?
Speaker 10 (51:47):
No?
Speaker 2 (51:47):
Not real. I was blown away by how loud they are, Uh,
Sunday here in Kinwood after I left the studios. I
mean it was loud, loud, sounded like a stadium loud.
Now over by where I live, it's not as loud.
It's quiet. It's kind of a quiet hum, but not
(52:09):
nearly as loud, does it really?
Speaker 3 (52:11):
I currently have one that is somewhere in like, not
the hood, but the front part of the car by
where the wind shoe wipers are. So everywhere I go,
I just hear that guy making noise.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
Yeah, I have one. There is one, I will say,
right outside my window by my AC unit. Which that's
what attracts them, is the Did you know that the
vibrations are like the sound, So they do that, they
make that sound themselves. They're attracted to that stuff. So
like if you go and mow the lawn, they're more
(52:42):
likely to get riled up and come near the lawnmower
because of the sound. Same with like air conditioning units
and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (52:49):
Okay, I mean it's crazy. Some of the pictures I'm
seeing now are all over the place. I mean just
like clusters of them all together, and then someplace you
go and you barely see any It's like the lizards
in Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
That I don't really know, like what causes them to
be in some places and not others. I admittedly have
not looked too deeply into, uh, what's going on with
the cicadas why they do what they do?
Speaker 3 (53:19):
Like where I in Sharonville, our front yard is filled
with cicadas. But in the backyard like we have like
there's a fence in our backyard and then across that
as a street that has a bunch of trees, Like
it's quiet in our backyard. I would think it would
be opposite. I would think more trees would mean more cicadas.
But our front yard is the one that's loaded sure
with cicadas. Wife hates them, kids hate them. I pick
(53:42):
them up by the wings and throw them at them.
Pick them up by the wings. Yeah, if you pick
them up by like their back wings. Yeah, they make
some noises and they move around a lot, and they
make noise if you pick them up. Oh yeah, yeah.
Not a long lifespan for the cicada. I don't really
pick them up though, Okay, I know that. There's just
a guy in high school. I think that ate them.
Speaker 2 (54:04):
Now, that's not uncommon. I've heard of that before. Really, yeah,
people eating them. I think that was like some sort
of big thing for a while, and like maybe in
the the older days.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
Remember a couple of years ago we had like a uh,
a cicada expert like called into the show.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
Do you remember that guy? It seems loosely familiar.
Speaker 3 (54:26):
They are a good source of calories and protein, apparently,
are the cicadas all right. They also have no shellfish allergy.
Come again, there's no shellfish fish allergy associated with them?
Speaker 2 (54:39):
Well, you don't know. What does that mean?
Speaker 3 (54:40):
Well, a lot of people have allergies to shellfish and
it's very dangerous.
Speaker 2 (54:45):
What does that mean a shellfish allergy? Yeah, I don't know,
because I'm thinking of an actual fish. But you're telling
me it's not I don't think So this is what
happens when you dive into cicada talking. You're not a professional.
Apologies for my ignorance. I haven't given a lot of
thought to cicadas, to be honest.
Speaker 3 (55:02):
Yeah, I have now, shrimp, lobster, crab, Yeah, that stuff
crustacean group.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
Okay, but there are safe to eat. So are they crustaceans? No,
they're safe to eat. I'm confused.
Speaker 3 (55:17):
It's just when I looked it up about eating cicadas, right,
it says good source of calorie and protein, and they
have no shellfish allergy, so there's no other reason to
avoid them.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
Go for it. It says when when deciding to eat cicadas.
All right, so I'm not going to eat any okay,
are you no? Okay? But I did just see that
they are related to shrimp and lobster. So that's why. Okay,
so that's where it comes where there had to be
some sort of reason. Yeah, so you don't need to
worry about it. Okay. My dogs eat cicadas. Dogs eat
(55:54):
cicadas all the time. Yeah, dogs are obsessed with them. Yeah. Anyway,
that's it for the cicada talk. Thank God and thank you.
Stanley Cup finals start tonight. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
Are you interested in the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers.
I'm mildly interested.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
Especially with the Reds play in a day game. Not
much else on. I'll tune in tonight to that. Yeah,
I'm mildly interested.
Speaker 3 (56:19):
Playoff hockey's a different, different animal, man. There's an energy
in those arenas that is really second to none.
Speaker 12 (56:25):
You know.
Speaker 2 (56:26):
I was listening to John Buchi Gross this morning, our friend, yeah,
or tried to be friend. Yep, your friend, your friend,
John Butchi Gross. Anyways, I was. He was kind of
explaining that the Oilers are in a position right now
that this could be their last chance at it for
(56:47):
a while really because of their salary cap situation and
uh players that are at the end of their contracts
and so on and so forth. Basically they got Connor
m David. Don't they correct? Who is this is going
to be going into the summer of the summer He
gets his extension correct and so he was basically saying,
(57:09):
I think a term that you've used on this show
many times in the past, which is that the hungry dog.
How do you explain that hungry dog runs faster? Is
that what you used to say? Yes, he was explaining that.
You know, Edmonton a year ago in the Stanley Cup final,
they lost the first three games and then they rallied
back and nearly won four straight to win the Stanley
(57:32):
Cup over Florida. They're thinking, hungry dog runs faster, and
we're going to start better than we did a year ago,
where desperate team's gonna get broken up after this year,
Edmonton's gonna win. Florida is going for like a dynasty
type moment. I'm rooting for Florida.
Speaker 3 (57:50):
I don't think there's been a Canadian team that has
won it since like the early nineties.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
That sounds correct. They've not won a Stanley Cup, which
is crazy to think about. I kind of want to
to continue, but the whole Canadian team I would have
to get the exact year. The whole four Nations face
off thing really made me like all in on America
versus Canada, and I believe we just knocked them off
in like a youth something in hockey recently, Yeah, first
(58:15):
a long time. So because of that, if we were
able to beat them again, and especially with a Florida team, yep,
after what the Tampa Bay Lightning did just a few
years ago to now the Florida Panthers, they would break them.
I think that would be pretty funnyely, So I'm going
to root for the Florida Panthers. Okay, that's fair, and
also for the good folks doing sports talk radio down
(58:36):
in Miami. Obviously.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
The NBA Finals get underway tomorrow night, Game one of
the Finals. Uh and Tom Thibodeau is no longer the
coach of the New York Next We found that out yesterday.
Is there any chance you think Jay Wright would come
out of retirement.
Speaker 2 (58:54):
And coach in the NBA?
Speaker 3 (58:56):
I would think yeah, strictly because that there are three
three former guys he coached from Villanova on that team.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
A few Nova guys up there, and you don't have
to deal with the nonsense of the college world. Of
the college world. I don't think it's too far away
from home for Jay Right. I would think he'd be
on the list of people to call in a move
where you.
Speaker 3 (59:24):
Where you take an organization like the Knicks and you
advance them further than they have in twenty five years.
You're on the doorstep of the NBA Finals and you
get fired. Wouldn't that lead you to believe that they
may have already had a name in mind.
Speaker 2 (59:42):
Correct, which to me leans toward Michael Malone, who was
fired from the Denver Nuggets, maybe a little prematurely and
a surprising move late in the season. I would guess
for the Knicks, the list is roughly Michael Malone, Bryant
who's the assistant coach in Cleveland, Uh, Jay Wright, and
(01:00:05):
maybe Rick Bettino.
Speaker 3 (01:00:07):
It's not going to be Calv's assistant coach, Jordan Ott
because he just took the job as we're speaking with
the Phoenix Suns. Okay, so Jordan not is now off
the list. It's Jordan Not not a candidate. You like
that anymore?
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
Pretty good? Huh?
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
We got a couple of minutes before we get the
talk backs. Can we take some blind phone calls.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
You wanna take some blind phone calls? Blind phone calls?
All right, here we go. Uh, let's start with line
number two. You've been waiting the longest caller. If you
can hear our voice, you're on the air. What is
your name?
Speaker 15 (01:00:41):
Mike?
Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
What's up? Mike?
Speaker 15 (01:00:45):
I've been on hold the long I've been on hold?
That long us I had?
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
You had eight minutes and fifty two seconds.
Speaker 15 (01:00:52):
We go, Oh, hell, you know what my house? I
got a huge surgery that the doctor's calling.
Speaker 4 (01:01:00):
I called back.
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
Yeah, yeah, give us a call back here soon. Best
to look. Well, now go up to call her. Line one,
who's been there for four minutes and fifty five seconds.
Hello caller, what's up?
Speaker 20 (01:01:12):
Well?
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Hello? Hey, what's going on? You're kind of hard to hear.
You got us on speaker or something? All you got
us on a blue tooth?
Speaker 12 (01:01:25):
Is that better?
Speaker 13 (01:01:26):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Yeah, there you are.
Speaker 12 (01:01:29):
Here's a guy's name that you may have had on
the show, uh a few years back. That's an expert
on the cicadas. Yes he's I'm not sure if he's
still there, but he used to be a professor at
Mount Saint Joe and his name is Jeane Kritsky. Okay,
comes on, Christy.
Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
Yes, all right, what do you do you know anything
about cicadas?
Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
No? What's your name?
Speaker 12 (01:01:59):
Mark? Oh?
Speaker 15 (01:02:00):
Yesterday?
Speaker 2 (01:02:01):
All right? Mark Beer? Yeah, yeah, I screwed that up, Mark,
I was I had no idea what you were talking about.
I didn't get it, but then I you know, it
took me a couple of minutes. You got any more
jokes for us? We got about two minutes.
Speaker 15 (01:02:15):
Hey, watch the basketball court always wet?
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Oh boy? Is this clean?
Speaker 15 (01:02:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Okay?
Speaker 12 (01:02:21):
Why because the player is always dribbling on it?
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Thank you, Mark, Mark fantastic that sometimes you win and
sometimes you lose.
Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
You I like that one. You know.
Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
We had many folks Austin that uh that were a
big fan of live.
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Talkbacks last week. Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
And there are just some days where you just kind
of go off the cuff here and say we're going
to take some blind phone calls and it works, and
sometimes it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
It's really strange. Our phone system is. It's weird. It
almost never works correctly or as it's post of work.
But sometimes we'll get a call in, like from Mike
in LA, for example, and it'll tell me Mike in LA,
and so I will just put him right on hold,
especially if we're talking whatever, so I don't have to
(01:03:13):
interrupt whatever like it does right now. Mike's calling in
right now, it says Mike and La, So I just
put him on hold. And then other times he'll call
and it won't show anything interesting. Uh, same as with
Jeff and Virginia. Sometimes it shows Jeff and Virginia. Sometimes
it shows nothing. Sometimes when the former president, uh talk
back President Ronald Reagan calls in, it'll say former talkback
(01:03:33):
President Ronald Reagan from the office, and he's calling now, hello, President,
how are you?
Speaker 21 (01:03:40):
Is that whose phone this is? I just saw the
limo pull off and this phone fell off the roof.
I'll tell you one thing. Last night, I was at
that games and and and I this is Tater out
in Barbersville, and I saw that back and catch in
(01:04:01):
center field. And that's the one thing I hate about
these new stadiums is when they put that home run
wall right up against the fans and they can reach
there and get that ball.
Speaker 15 (01:04:12):
I love seeing an.
Speaker 21 (01:04:13):
Out failed or be able to grab that.
Speaker 15 (01:04:15):
Home run and bring it back in.
Speaker 21 (01:04:16):
But good thing there were no fans in that section
of the wall because he may not have called it.
Speaker 4 (01:04:24):
I agree that the limousine's coming back down.
Speaker 22 (01:04:28):
I gotta I gotta go.
Speaker 21 (01:04:30):
Thank you guys with sunglasses coming at me.
Speaker 15 (01:04:33):
I gotta go.
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Oh god, man man, all right, let's take Mike's Let's
talk to Mike. What's up, Mike.
Speaker 13 (01:04:44):
Boy?
Speaker 15 (01:04:44):
You guys are coming and he's not appreciates your big come. Yeah,
that selfish thing is very serious. If you have an
allergy to it, it can kill you.
Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Yes, I was looking it up the more I was
talking about it.
Speaker 15 (01:04:57):
And if you have a liver disease of any kind
will definitely kill you. That's how serious. If you eat
crab or any muscles or a rod or anything. Yeah,
it's pretty luckily I haven't had that, thank god. But yeah,
it's pretty serious. So it's cicadas. Yeah, I don't see
(01:05:18):
much going on in this song. But anyway, heartbreaks were
last night. I just we're back to the same old thing,
aren't we?
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
No rugs one last night? Mike?
Speaker 15 (01:05:30):
Oh yeah, they won. I didn't need to say that.
I meant to anyway. Forget what I'm saying. They got
me on this damn medicine. I shouldn't have even called
you taking a pool on myself. Oh yeah, that catch
was unbelievable but real. He jumps pretty well for a
relatively shortcut. What is he about six feet five or eleven?
Speaker 2 (01:05:51):
Yeah, maybe six feet?
Speaker 15 (01:05:54):
He gets up pretty good, though, I don't know how
tall is that? Is that ten feet that wall? Is
that a ten foot high wall?
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
I don't know that you know how tall? How hard how?
I want to say it's like seven feet, but I
could be got to be taller than that. He I TJ.
Friedo is five eight one eighty.
Speaker 15 (01:06:11):
Wow, I knew it was short. I was find to
give him a little.
Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
Basically identical to me, like five eight one eighty the.
Speaker 15 (01:06:19):
This, yeah, because right I met you, Austin, so I
know you're yeah, okay, I got you. So that wall
I doubt it's m Yeah, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Pretty sure it's the seven foot wall.
Speaker 11 (01:06:30):
Damn.
Speaker 15 (01:06:30):
He might be right, because Benson. Some of the taller
guys can get up there easily on that stuff, like Judge.
Like Judge, he has even hardly jumping, just puts his
glove up and grabs it out of the air, out
from over the wall.
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
I just can't imagine how hard it is when you're
trying to track a ball.
Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
It might be seven and a half eight.
Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
Trying to track a ball at that height as the
ball's moving and you know that you're now not on
the grass, you're on the warning track. You know the
wall's coming up. To be able to handle all of
that is still incredible to me.
Speaker 15 (01:07:03):
Yeah, it blows my mind. My uh, my surgeon was
telling me to today what a couple of days ago,
what what he's going to do with the surgery, and
I just got which is cool. But after he got done,
I said, man, you know, I really kind of wish
you wouldn't. I wish you'd just done it, because because
(01:07:24):
then your mind starts to race and you're picturing, Okay,
we're going to make this decision. Now we're going to
cut through the tissue and cut through the muscle. Then
we're going to get to the artery.
Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
And you're going on, Yeah, you don't even want to
hear any of that stuff.
Speaker 15 (01:07:37):
Well you don't, you kind of do? You know? Your
curiosity is there. But then I mean, if with the
colonosy of some little mickey mouse thing like that, it's
no big deal. You go in and they give you
a little little bit, but but you know, when you're
under that general anesthesia and they're breathing for you, you
are no longer breathing on your own all. That's why
(01:08:00):
it gets spooky, and that's when the problems occur, and
that's why they have to be so careful. Now for
this test, this surgeon I had to have a nuclear
stress test on all my heart, which is pretty weird.
And if you're young and fairly healthy, you get on treadmill, right,
and then they read the chemicals and see how your
heart's expanding or contracting while you're on this treadmill as
(01:08:22):
to whether your heart's working properly, and it has five
different regions to it, whether it's pumping properly and receiving properly.
But if you're not, if you can't do the treadmill,
they give you this medicine called lexicamp and they inject
it in you and you and almost immediately you start thinking,
God that I feel a little warm. Yeah, I'm kind
(01:08:46):
of grieving at a little hard you know, you know
what's coming. And then when it kicks in, man, you
feel like you're running for your life from something like
your heart rate is. It's the freakiest dealing you, guys,
because you're really is that chemical is actually making.
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
Your heart have to work? Yeah?
Speaker 15 (01:09:06):
Yeah? And then and so before you have it, they
tell you don't drink any caffeine. You can't have any
catheen twenty four hours before any kind of captain from anything.
But check this out. If you have a problem during
the stress test or if you feel really shaky afterwards,
your antidote is that caffeine. They give you the captaine
(01:09:28):
then to bring you back to normal. Is that crazy?
Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
It's insane. I mean, it's crazy how that that stuff works.
It's it's mind boggling to me.
Speaker 15 (01:09:37):
Nothing to do with sports. I'm sorry, but this is
a big thing in my life and I just want
you guys please say.
Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
You haven't You're having surgery tomorrow.
Speaker 15 (01:09:48):
Yeah at six am. All right, pal, I'm pretty good
because I really am.
Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
So good luck. We'll be praying for Mike. We're with you, Mike.
Appreciate the phone call. Man, Thank you boss. All right.
I was thinking about asking when he first started that
conversation if he's afraid of death. Yeah. I think he
answered it there at the end. Yeah. Guy, that's been
(01:10:14):
around a long time, seen a lot of crap, right,
but that's scary man. Very hope he's all.
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
Right, Very your talkbacks will happen next as the Reds Austin.
Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
How about this? Who else would you want it to plate?
Right now?
Speaker 3 (01:10:29):
Bases loaded one out and you got Santiago Espinhall coming.
Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
To the dish g I d P coming up.
Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
So we'll be back with more your talkback since he
three sixty Thanks to Cincy shirts on ESPN fifteen thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
Hey a likes on ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports station.
Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
All right, bo, why be.
Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
Hear you good?
Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
Loud? Oh wld oh too oh fruit.
Speaker 11 (01:10:59):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
Sent to some talk backs left, listen to the clouds.
Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
Get me a buddant Suprise Jones. We hope those.
Speaker 16 (01:11:15):
Other two divern't come back over the room for totally all.
Speaker 5 (01:11:23):
Thefhing comes close to the show.
Speaker 11 (01:11:27):
We got hag right, Hello the stars over talk.
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Back show, Radswell.
Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
Rads well, all right, hopefully the Reds win top of
the fourth right now, worst Austin situational hitting team I've
ever seen face is loaded one out.
Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
I can't help but be reminded of the twenty twenty Reds.
They're so bad situationally man what about Tea.
Speaker 16 (01:12:02):
The hero of yesterday's game, man, when that ball was
hit a crap, they found a way to screw up
another lead. But going behold, he's your hero, he says
the day. TJ.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Flipping Freedom, Yeah, slipping freedom. By the way, talkbacks brought
to you by Cyincy Shirts two gift cards this week.
Speaker 23 (01:12:22):
Craig the you otter totally have to disagree with you
on yesterday's take on Tuesday being the worst day of
the week. I mean, that's our Dickman's volleyball night. Bro
Oh good times smashing balls, drinking coldies, hanging out with
your bros.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Okay.
Speaker 23 (01:12:38):
Also, TJ Friedel have a day, young man, go red legs,
go big Blue.
Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
Now, I will say Tuesdays often feature tacos, which is
a big deal, and that certainly makes the case for
Tuesdays being all right, do you guys have taco Tuesdays?
And the bike house? Uh? Some weeks other weeks.
Speaker 24 (01:12:59):
Now it's tough, guys, Big cahoone in Kentucky. What a
night at the ballpark last night. The fans really brought it.
I can't wait to get back down there today. But
they got a little ruined underway. Hole got me a
buddy the Rosa's pizza, and I forgot to tell them
to cut it and try and goause I can't stand
that they cut pizza in squares if you get a large.
I don't understand what that's about. But when McLean and
Benson are on this team is unbeatable. Unbeatable. And Tony,
(01:13:23):
did the men a moler ever try to recruit you
out of high school or any of the Northern Kentucky schools?
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Were you always a reddig mate?
Speaker 3 (01:13:30):
I had a chance to go to some other schools,
but I was always I was always a running guy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
I mean Bill Cunningham offered you, what, yeah, six figures
to come to Deer Park. How'sing he turned him down?
Guy's a crook, YEP.
Speaker 20 (01:13:45):
Tony Austin looking for a sub tonight for softball. Either
if you can make it, we'll patch you clean up
play at first base, Austin. We think I'm thinking seven hole.
Maybe put you behind the dish because you do look
like Devin Mesaraka so.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
True it makes sense.
Speaker 20 (01:14:04):
Also, why is face value for Red's tickets so expensive?
And why can't I find him under face value online?
Speaker 22 (01:14:10):
I used to always be able to do that.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
I don't know what's going on. I don't know. A
great question, i'd yeah, I I don't know. It used
to be like you could get a ticket for like
seven or eight bucks, or bleachers were like seven or
eight bucks or ten bucks. And now I think even
the worst seats in the house are like eighteen.
Speaker 25 (01:14:33):
Hey, Tony and Austin Aken the congressman from the Commonwealth
of Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
Here, come on with it.
Speaker 25 (01:14:39):
I was about to do to talk back about how
I was filled with hopium about the Red season after
last night. But then I saw the report that hunder
Green is heard again.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
What are we going to do?
Speaker 25 (01:14:52):
Maybe they'll bring up Chase Burns and he'll just be
lights out anyway. Also, who in the hell is John Hopkins?
Speaker 2 (01:15:01):
Who the go ahead? All right? Think you ken appreciate that?
Speaker 13 (01:15:08):
Well, let's see how do we do this now? Dodo
me uh to do the lottery? Dude, you're onto med?
Do do do do Dootomy do dooo on the seat,
Scooby dooderotomy dude to Tommy, Dude looks like a lady.
Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
I give up.
Speaker 13 (01:15:28):
I give up, Nancy.
Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
I don't know, baby shark, do do do do? Do
baby remember that? Greg.
Speaker 26 (01:15:38):
So for the last couple of years we talked about
TJ always said he's one of my favorites. I know
you guys agreed just what he brings to the team.
And I'll tell you last night that was about as
exciting as it gets. It was almost like a night
Bruce hit the home run. But anyway, I just you know,
I just love TJ. Just brings a lot of jews.
Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
To the team. I agree, TJ. That's my TJ.
Speaker 12 (01:16:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 27 (01:16:07):
I'm back from vacation and the old Lady and I
rented a house on the west side of town. Do
you two know where Cleaves is? Do you beefcakes know
where Cleaves is? We rented a house and did some
fish and turned off our devices. Our nightly pillow talk
was mainly about this show. What improvements could be made
(01:16:31):
moving forward? Did you fix the glitch?
Speaker 4 (01:16:33):
Yet?
Speaker 27 (01:16:34):
Everyone's all excited.
Speaker 2 (01:16:38):
I'm just happy you got some pillow talk with your
old lady man, because you know, yep.
Speaker 27 (01:16:44):
I see that everyone's all excited that TJ Friedel made
a catch that's actually something he's paid to do. How
are the Reds doing? I had my device turned off?
How's willing mode de la Cruz doing. I hear that
Hunter Eifert is going on the Sable list, give me
(01:17:06):
a full report. I missed this show. I love you guys,
and I know you love me.
Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
Yeah, man, Hunter Eifert, that's crazy, Willie Mo de la Cruz,
that is painful. That's insane.
Speaker 28 (01:17:21):
Since jackover with my midwek top four things of the week.
First and foremost, we got the Bangle was hiring some scouts.
I've been needing that for years.
Speaker 15 (01:17:30):
T J.
Speaker 28 (01:17:31):
Friedel robbed home runs a given. And then for some
reason this week that Edmund Fitzgerald rect has just hit
me a little bit harder, coming on the forty ninth
anniversary this year. Sure, shout out to Edmund Fitzgerald. And
then lastly we got Tony pronouncing orange juice like a
four year old talking about orange juice.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
Orange juice is what I say. You go back and forth.
Sometimes you say orange juice. It depends how fast I'm talking.
You say orange juice. Do you do you or have
you ever been told that you struggle with suffixes?
Speaker 4 (01:18:06):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
Sure? Sometimes? Okay, I'm just asking sure, you're starting to
get a little defensive here. I'm trying, you know, I try,
thy guys. It's Jeff.
Speaker 29 (01:18:16):
So I think what needs to happen is when baseball
locks out the players next year, is that we hope
for like a thirty year lockout. That way we don't
have to deal with the misery of the Castellini's or
the Reds being underwhelming. As far as general manager goes,
(01:18:38):
Crawl has to go. I still know who you get
to replace.
Speaker 2 (01:18:42):
Him, Jeff. I gotta tell you something, Bud. You have
the opportunity to walk away if you want to, if
you don't want to be a Reds fan anymore, if
it's miserable to you. It's the point where it go
away for thirty years. You can walk away if you
(01:19:03):
don't want to.
Speaker 12 (01:19:06):
Austin, if any of those straight A's student kids went
to the concession stand once or heaven forbid twice, the
Reds didn't lose a dime on that.
Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
That's also true. Are you two One night though, you know,
I was sitting next to a kid where I have
a hard time believing he was of age to drink,
and he kept making trips, beers, hot dogs, everything. It
was unbelievable. I mean, the kids in my section alone
(01:19:35):
did damage.
Speaker 10 (01:19:37):
It's God on a wedd day. The cicadas are coming.
The cicadas are coming. These cicadas are terrible here in
Blue ash slash Montgomerin he slash Ken. Would I keep
on running into them and they're all over the place?
When are they gonna go away?
Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
God? Where do you live? Precisely? Tell us?
Speaker 30 (01:20:00):
Hey, Austin, this is Jen from Loveland. So Jen, I
got home last night just in time to catch the
postgame show, and I started wondering if you like to
gather around that table for pounding on the table and
cheering for the Reds win.
Speaker 13 (01:20:19):
I was watching for you?
Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
Uh what? Huh huh? I got home last night in
time to catch the postgame show. I started wondering if
you like to gather around that table for pounding on
the table and cheering for the Reds win. I was
watching for you. That's a lot, Jen, I'm sorry, I
(01:20:47):
have no idea what you're talking about.
Speaker 7 (01:20:55):
Times citizens be on the lookout. Cincinnati police are looking
for a white male goes by the name TJ. Friedel
last scene in the one hundred block of Joe Knucks
Allway and the nine o'clock hour last night created a robbery.
Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
It was a walk off robbery. If you have any tips,
call crime stoppers.
Speaker 18 (01:21:19):
Pe Tony Austin Super seventy sports guy posted the other
day about Ricky Henderson having fifty stolen bases on June second.
In nineteen eighty two, he finished the season with one
hundred and thirty stolen bases. He was twenty three. Ellie
is twenty three. He doesn't have one hundred and thirty
stolen bases in his basically two years of playing ball.
(01:21:39):
Why he also surpassed twenty year veteran Tony Gwen in
career strikeouts last night.
Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
The Reds have a bobblehead mentality.
Speaker 18 (01:21:47):
They're not here to win, They're here to keep excited
about five hundred ball.
Speaker 2 (01:21:52):
He did that like three nights ago, that he passed
Tony Gwyn. The difference is that those guys are all
time great players, and I don't think Ellie is one
of those dudes. The Tony Gwyn stats, He's ever going
to do that again. That's like comparing you know, somebody
to Jesus. This is just not gonna happen. Talkbacker God
doll times.
Speaker 31 (01:22:12):
I think he got the short end of the straw
they made the conference finals first time twenty five years.
The streak is broken today the Reds will win. Stop
this Brewer curse. You can't stop Andrew Abbott. If the
Reds lose today, I'll eat. I'll drag a bunch of
(01:22:35):
chocolate milk.
Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
All right, thank you me with a good time.
Speaker 32 (01:22:41):
Boys.
Speaker 33 (01:22:43):
So as far as eating cicadas, I'm old enough to
remember the jingle for so called snappy cicada pizza. But
I was also kind of young, and I don't know
if the older generation was.
Speaker 2 (01:22:56):
Just messing with us. So does anybody.
Speaker 33 (01:22:58):
Remember for sure? Was it actually offered as a he's
a topping at one time? I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (01:23:04):
I hope not. Hey, guys, quick double.
Speaker 18 (01:23:08):
Maybe it's unfair comparison with Ricky Henderson and Tony Gwenfarelli.
Point was what you just mentioned is they don't develop anything.
The Reds have an erroneous.
Speaker 2 (01:23:17):
View of how to put bus in seats.
Speaker 18 (01:23:20):
They think it's about bobble heads and the nineteen seventy
five seventy six teams put a winner on the field,
We'll come to the stadium.
Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
Yeah, snappy cicada pizza. I'm so confused how these people
know each other. Hello, oh, hello, oh, listen to them cadas.
You can barely hear any.
Speaker 34 (01:23:42):
Tony Austin, Yeah, I'm unhealthy right now. If you could
right now select three players on the offense or defense,
just the whole team of the Bengals that you are
guaranteeing are going to be All.
Speaker 4 (01:23:58):
Pro voted players. I don't care what they're projected to
do this year.
Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
You go, bam, they're an All Pro.
Speaker 4 (01:24:04):
Player for the season.
Speaker 34 (01:24:05):
Which three players would be the most impactful for us.
Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
To go to the Super Bowl?
Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
Joe, Jamar and Trey I guess huh hmm, I think
that would be it. Joe Jamar, Cam Taylor britt Ol.
(01:24:35):
You can throw Chase.
Speaker 4 (01:24:36):
Brown and that it's taintball Guru here.
Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
I also thought about Orlando Brown.
Speaker 32 (01:24:41):
It's the taintball Guru here. And hey, Tony and Atti.
Speaker 4 (01:24:45):
Hopeball as well.
Speaker 32 (01:24:47):
This message is for Mike and la Hey, buddy, we're
all pulling for you. We're all saying a prayer for you.
You bring a smile to each of us every single day.
Just remember, keep low, keep calm, he keep smiling.
Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
See you were very well, said paintball Grol. Hey, I
was wonder if you guys were able to hear the
conversation between Jim Day and Joe Torri. It was pretty
good stuff. I didn't. I didn't hear it. I heard
the tail end of Joe with Lance last night, but no,
I haven't had a chance to hear it yet. I
know Joe was in town last night. Did you see
(01:25:24):
any of it? I did not, did you?
Speaker 17 (01:25:27):
God?
Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
But I worked in Blue Ash Oh boy, Okay, Austin.
Speaker 25 (01:25:36):
She's talking about the table that goes around Brian Geese
and Slow and Sam.
Speaker 2 (01:25:43):
When everybody staid around. So that's what she's talking about.
I see, I got you now. Uh No, I don't
do that. I have not. I've never never done that
pound pound I think that was the reference, gotcha, Jen,
(01:26:05):
I'm sorry I didn't understand. Uh yes, it was. I
see what you're where you're coming from. You know now?
I get it now?
Speaker 11 (01:26:14):
You know?
Speaker 4 (01:26:14):
All right?
Speaker 20 (01:26:15):
Last one, Jen was talking about the postgame show whenever
after the game they pan over and it's Jeff pro
and Samu Cure and they show all them to the
counting on the table after a Reds win. If the
apocalypse happened, do you guys think that the grass the
Great American Ballpark would grow really high or would it
just like stay the same height and turned brown. I
(01:26:36):
was wondering about.
Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
That great question. I think let's stay just how it is.
It's I would imagine it would grow. No, it never grow.
Jeff Pecoro hasn't done Reds games in like four years. Yeah,
I love Jeff Pecorro though. All right, Oh, let's take
a break. What a show we have.
Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
We got a Reds update and well we got a
pull question too. We got a poll question and an
injury update. Sorry report since three sixty. ESPN fifteen thirty,
Cincinnati Sports Station. Thank you to our friends at Cincy Shirts,
soil U.
Speaker 19 (01:27:12):
C k Y Cincinnati, make us the number one pre
sent on your car radio and on the free, new
and improved iHeartRadio app. Free never sounded so good, ESPN
fifteen thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:27:22):
From the Baker Heating Tempstar Weather Center.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Continues on ESPN fifteen thirty, Cincinnati's Sports Station.
Speaker 3 (01:27:41):
Welcome back since e three to sixty, Thanks for listening.
On ESPN fifteen thirty, Cincinnati Sports Station. Thanks to our
friends at Cincy Shirts as well. It is time for
today's postman law Injury report delivered by Postman Law Injured.
Postman delivers obviously the big news coming out of right
here in Cincinnati is the news of Hunter Green going
(01:28:04):
on the fifteen day injured list for the Cincinnati Reds.
That coming obviously last night after more growing pain for
Hunter Green. Also, Terry francona talked about some lower back
pain as well, So Terry francon announced that Hunter Green
(01:28:24):
is going on the fifteen day injured list. Rhet Louder
was transferred to the sixty day injured list, and Austin
Hayes could be cleared to resume running later this week.
According to Charlie Goldsmith, that is today's Postman Law Injury
report delivered by Postman Law Injured call eight four to
(01:28:45):
four Postman unfortunate news coming out of Great American Ballpark
right now Austin in what now feels like a insurmountable
deficit for the Cincinnati Reds, the Reds now trail three
nothing after a Jacksonario two run home run hit off
(01:29:05):
Andrew Abbot. Here as Andrew Abboitt is working in the
top of the fifth inning, just seventy four pitches still
for Abbot two outs in the fifth inning, but the
Milwaukee Brewers now hold a three nothing lead over the
Cincinnati Reds. Do we have a poll question to go
around that?
Speaker 2 (01:29:23):
Yeah, you know. Unfortunately those two things are related. Our
Revivefitnessystems dot com poll question presented by Revivefitnessystems dot Com
and coach Pja Street. Will today be the day the
Reds win a series against Milwaukee for the first time
in the last twelve tries? Your options are yes, we
(01:29:44):
are back, no, gonna get shut out? Or is it
football season yet? Right now, the leader is thirty six percent.
Is it football yet? Thirty four percent say no, gonna
get shut out? Smart folks. Twenty nine percent say yes
we are back. You can vote at audio more at
(01:30:05):
ESPN fifteen thirty at Tony Underscore Pike fifteen. I've been
thinking about football. I like that. Yeah, I just I
have a big football guy.
Speaker 3 (01:30:15):
I have zero confidence in this Reds team three nothing
going into the bottom of the fifth It honestly feels insurmountable,
does it not?
Speaker 2 (01:30:26):
Yeah? I mean, like we said the same stuff all year.
What would give you confidence that they're going to be rate?
Especially if they get past the fifth inning? You know,
when this team trails after six. They don't win games.
Speaker 3 (01:30:38):
They have squandered multiple opportunities, a bases loaded opportunity with
number two and three up in the lineup, and you
get nothing out of it. Last inning end at Austin
with your every day run of the mill, strike him out,
throw them out where Connor Joe struck out and Tyler
Stevenson was gunned down trying to steal on the pitch.
Just baffling, baff lean stuff for the Cincinnati Reds, who
(01:31:02):
again trail three. Nothing is the game heads into the
bottom of the fifth. As we head into our number
three for US Austin, I think it's an opportunity to
UH to switch gears a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
We could talk some counter programming that we're supposed to
be doing Cincinnati Bengals. There are some.
Speaker 3 (01:31:18):
Hypothetical Trey Hendrickson trade offers out there. We've got t
Higgins audio, We've got Jermaine Burton, remember him, Jermaine Burton audio.
We got to talk about Shamar Stewart and Pro Football
Focus list the Bengals projected starters coming up this season.
(01:31:39):
If we have time, I have some buy sell that
we can dive into. What about hold Nope, I didn't
throw hold in there. I think holds a cop out.
Hold as part of the promost. I think I'll cut
it out of the intro. I think edited audio life.
I think hold is a cop out. I think that's
an easy way around things. Well, I mean it's a
part of life. You know, you can either hold your
(01:32:01):
stocks or sell your stocks. Not today. You either buy
it or you sell it. What happens. If you're not
buying or selling, then you're not living. It's your holding,
you're not living. Speaking of holding, were we going to
talk about Cordell Volson? Talk about you at the dockery deck,
hold a couple of drinks in my hand. Cordell Volson
(01:32:22):
gets called for holding on the second possession after what
would have been a seventy two yard T Higgins touch.
Speaker 2 (01:32:27):
Do you think let's say it happens. Right, Let's say
it happens and I have to fly to Tampa for
the the dakery deck. Do you think I could fly
in early morning, go to the deck, fly out that night, yeah,
and make it home by win. I mean there are
(01:32:47):
drink Yeah, it'd be kind of crazy when copy hours
like three to six or three to seven every day,
go to a fashion day tripper. So you get a
fund this you literally you you go into happy hour,
get down there about two, stay for how can I
get down there at two? Game starts at once? Well fifteen,
we get there about eleven thirty. Okay, Uh, it's looking
(01:33:10):
more and more likely like that's gonna happen. Get down
there at two. Sure, what world are you in? I
don't know. I'm not gonna miss the first half. Watch
it on the flight. No, dude, if you are, if
you're interested in sponsoring this trip, it shs it's gonna happen.
I don't think it's gonna happen. I truly don't. All right,
but well, we'll talk about you know how to find us.
(01:33:31):
We'll talk about that and more as it relates to
the Bengals when we come back. Since e three to sixty,
your phone calls walking five, one, three, seven, four, nine,
fifteen thirty Thanks to our friends at Cinti Shirts.
Speaker 1 (01:33:43):

All right, welcome back our number three. Thanks to Penn Station.
Thank you for listening on ESPN fifteen thirty. It is
Cincinnati Sports Station, or via the iHeartRadio app as well.
Give us a call here. Our number three is open
to you. Five one, three, seven, four nine fifteen thirty
Reds did finally manufacture a run. Jose Travino hit his
second double of the game. Will Benson got him over,
(01:34:25):
Matt McClain got him in, and that was all she
wrote for the Reds as this game heads to the
sixth inning. Earlier today, Austin, ESPN threw out a couple
trade offers for three of the premiere names right now
being talked about in the National Football League, Kirk Cousins,
(01:34:48):
Trey Hendrickson, and Jalen Ramsey. I'm not as much into
Kirk Cousins or Jalen Ramsey, but I am interested in
what's going to happen with Trey Hendrickson. A seemingly no
ground has been made. It stays quiet, and we know
that Trey Hendrickson did not fetch the first round pick
(01:35:11):
that I think the Bengals had placed in looking for
as it related to Trey Hendrickson. Now, there was four
different hypothetical trades that ESPN came up with, and I'll
throw the four at you and then Austin, you tell
me if any of the four make logical sense to you.
(01:35:31):
Jeremy Fowler threw out an offer that the Bengals will
get a twenty twenty six second round pick twenty twenty
seven to fifth round pick, and the Colts would get
Trey Hendrickson. As to why this deal makes sense for
both sides, Fowler says, this sort of urgent move from
Indy would solidify the edge for lu An Arumo, and
(01:35:53):
the Bengals are clearly not getting a first rounder for
Hendrickson or else a deal would have been done by now,
but the elite pass rusher still has immense value. They
would be smart to capitalize on a trade like this
if they aren't going to pay him what he wants.
Dan Graziano throws out, quite simply, just a twenty twenty
sixth second round pick and the Buffalo Bills get Trey Hendrickson.
(01:36:22):
Ben Solak throws out that the Detroit Lions offer the
Bengals a twenty twenty six second round pick, a twenty
twenty seven fourth round pick that can become a third
rounder with performance conditions, and then return the Lions get
Trey Hendrickson and a twenty twenty six fifth round pick,
and then seth Water says the Washington Commanders give the
(01:36:45):
Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Jerson Newton along with a twenty
twenty six third rounder and a twenty twenty seven seventh
rounder for Trey Hendrickson. Ben Baby weighs in on all
of these offers and says that the verdict would be
that the Lions offer would be the one to get
(01:37:08):
the job done. Ben Baby says trading Hendrickson would place
more pressure on Joseph Osai and Miles Murphy and Cam Sample.
The Bengals could also use the extra cap space to
add depth to the unit, perhaps with a designated pass
rusher on third downs. Knowing what we know now, Austin
and knowing where this has a potential to head, if
(01:37:31):
you are the Bengals and Trey Hendrickson, are you staying
steadfast that it's a first rounder or nothing? Or would
any of these offers entice you enough to make a
deal and move on from Trey Hendrickson.
Speaker 2 (01:37:46):
I've never said it's a first round I don't think
he's worth of No, I think that's what he thought
he was. Yeah, No, I mean the Bengals should have
traded him months ago. All this could have been avoided.
You could have gotten something for him. If the Lions
are going to offer you that, yeah, absolutely take it.
I mean it's just to me as much more valuable
(01:38:08):
than him.
Speaker 3 (01:38:09):
Well, it's it's the value and it also you lose
the distraction as well.
Speaker 2 (01:38:13):
Yeah, And honestly, I don't think it's that much of
a distraction. Like to be honest, I don't think it's
something that they're that worried about.
Speaker 3 (01:38:22):
I don't think now. I think when camp comes around,
it could turn into more of one. Okay, just with
the ongoing because we've seen Trey Hendrickson clearly has no
problem going to the media and talking about it.
Speaker 2 (01:38:35):
I just don't think that the distraction of a Hendrickson
deal is nearly as much of a distraction Chase was.
And I do think that that had a negative effect
on the rest of the team and had like a
trickle down effect on guys like Jermaine Burton, which friend
of the show. John Sheeron wrote about that the other
day that you know, last year, Higgins and Chase weren't
in the in the spot or the place to be
(01:38:57):
able to really mentor and provide an example to Burton
because of their issues ongoing with the organization. And now
maybe that's shifted, which can be a good thing. And
just don't I just don't see Hendrickson as being that
much of a needle mover both inside the locker room
and obviously he is on the field, but not enough
(01:39:19):
to warrant the Bengals paying him that much money.
Speaker 3 (01:39:22):
I think there's a significant miss when it comes to
new decordinator, some young players around and not having Trey
Hendrickson there.
Speaker 2 (01:39:31):
Why what is different? It's a whole new scheme and system.
So you're thinking, yes, from a pass rusher perspective, absolutely different.
Speaker 3 (01:39:43):
The verbage what he's being asked to do. We talked
about would would Al Golden use him inside? Would he
switch sides? Is he going to drop into pass coverage more?
What do the stunts look like? Depth on rushes where
he's lining up, what techniques they're using is I would
assume it's going to be completely different than what lu
(01:40:04):
An Rumo did, and so you don't get a guy
to do any of that. You also don't get a
guy as you just mentioned Jermaine Burton not getting Trey
Hendrick or not getting t Higgins Jamar Chase, Well that
means Shamar Stewart and Joseph Osai and Miles Murphy wouldn't
get the the added help or guidance of a Trey Hendrickson.
I think for a defense that was woefully bad last year,
(01:40:27):
you you don't want that distraction on that side of it.
But I if any team is offering me a second
rounder today, I would take it and run and I
would just be done with it. And then I would
find ways to use the money available and and you know,
re up and and add value to the pass rush
with maybe third down situations like Ben Baby through out there.
(01:40:47):
But I don't think at this point you want to
hold now. I could see is there an argument that
you don't want to send him to a competitor in
the AFC.
Speaker 2 (01:40:57):
Like if you had your your way, I mean, I
don't think i'd Buffalo. I wouldn't send him to Buffalo.
But you know, especially a second round pick is going
to be later in the first round or later in
the second round. It's more like a third round pick.
So I wouldn't be crazy about a deal like that.
But you know, all this is, you know, this is
a conversation for June. The Bengals, in their decisions and
(01:41:19):
the way that they've gone about this entire process, have
kind of showed their hand. They're not going to go
get another pass rusher. They drafted one, They've re signed
their guys. They haven't signed any of the other available dudes.
And I guess technically that could change between now and
the start of the season when training camp rolls around.
But Trey's going to be there. If money is so
(01:41:40):
important to him, which it seems it is, He's gonna
show up to training camp. He'll learn all the verbiage,
he'll learn how all that works. He'll be there. Is
he gonna practice?
Speaker 3 (01:41:49):
We know money is that important? If he's if the
conversation is he is extremely dug in and willing to
sit out. You just answered the question all he cares
about his money? Well, not if he's going to give
up millions of dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:42:01):
He's not.
Speaker 3 (01:42:03):
I mean, what what knowledge do you have to say
if those are round the situation, So he goes.
Speaker 2 (01:42:09):
If he goes past ten games, his contract tolls to
next year and we just restart this process over again.
And on top of that, he would forfeit all that
money back to the Bengals. If this is about money,
clearly he would be here by week ten. He'll show up.
(01:42:29):
And if he's all but heard about Zach Taylor reminding
him he's gonna get fined, he's probably gonna show up.
And also because he can't figure out what else to
do other than talk to the media about it. So
if he sits out, sure, okay, all right, you're gonna
lose that money. And if you sit out the entire season,
your contract just tolls again the next year and we
(01:42:50):
do this all over again. I just don't see that
being a viable option for Trey. I think the Bengals
are betting on him to just show up, suck it up,
and play. Is he gonna do that, I don't know.
Is he going to try to leverage being a distraction?
Probably he's already done that once before. I would expect
him to do that again. Expect it to be a
(01:43:11):
hold in like Jesse Bates, so that he'll be there, he'll,
you know, behind closed doors, be a good soldier, learn
the defense, work out, do all the stuff he's supposed
to do, but during practice is not going to practice.
It was That's my guess as to what's going to happen.
Speaker 3 (01:43:30):
I think it was it Fowler that said that he
was extremely dug in. Yeah, regarding the position. Yeah, I mean,
if it's June fourth and that's still the case and
an offer rolls in on the table, if you're the Bengals,
why not just do it.
Speaker 2 (01:43:44):
I don't think they're going to, though, because of the
fact that they haven't invested beyond that position more than
what they've done right so far. So I think they're
playing all along. Is Trey's under contract, we expect him
to be here now. That could be a significant misstep
on their part, and he could wait until week ten
to show up and really hurt the Bengals in that sense,
(01:44:07):
and it would be their fault that they didn't trade
him and get something for him earlier, and that they
didn't pony up whatever the money is that he wants
passed twenty eight million dollars a year and not with
incentives and all that other stuff. And I think that
would be a fair criticism of the Bengals. But you know,
at the same time they needed Past Rush help with
(01:44:29):
or without Trey Henderson, they didn't go and get it sure,
And to me, that kind of goes back to what
Ian Rappaport and some of those other insiders have said
the whole time, which is that they think, eventually this
deal comes together. A deal comes together when both sides
want to get something done. You know, I lean towards
something will happen, but neither side will be happy. And
(01:44:53):
maybe that's what it comes down to. But I just
don't buy the idea that he's going to sit out
an entire.
Speaker 3 (01:44:58):
Season as it pertains to getting deals done. Kelsey Conway
of Cincinnati dot Com, who, by the way, I believe
Kelsey Conway is going to be a guest host on
the NFL networks All Female Good Morning Football. Yeah, it's
pretty cool, awesome stuff coming up for Kelsey Conway. But
she wrote earlier today about the pressure that's mounting on
(01:45:21):
the Bengals to get Shamar Stewart's done Shamar Stewart's contract
done before mandatory mini camp next week, obviously citing that
the Bengals are counting on Shamar Stewart to be an
impact player this year, and in order for that to happen,
he needs all the on field reps that he can get.
How much are we putting into the Chamar Stewart side
(01:45:43):
of things, because up to this point, the way the
workouts have kind of fallen. Yeah, it's annoying to see
him just sitting on the sidelines, But I don't think
you view it as that big of a miss. Does
it become a bigger miss if Shamar Stewart is that
is not under contract for mandatory any camp?
Speaker 2 (01:46:01):
Yeah, I mean I think that's I think that's a miss.
I think more than anything because of the same point
you just made about Trey is that this is NFL reps,
real practice reps, learning a system, being involved in the terminology,
and how Jerry Montgomery's going to coach him, and how
(01:46:23):
Al Golden's going to coach him, and what exactly he
wants with him, and he seems to have I think
will have more on his plate than Trey Henderson will.
I love the idea of Trey potentially moving around. I
don't know if that's going to happen, but you know,
Al has spoken to the idea of moving Stewart around,
especially inside, and so even getting interior past rush reps.
(01:46:46):
I know it's not training camp, but in mini camp
and getting used to lining up or whatever it might be.
I think that's valuable to him. He has no leverage, right,
and he wasn't an immediate impact like he needed. He
was drafted on upside, which means you need to work
to get there, and he's not getting that right now. Yeah.
(01:47:07):
So I had Andre Parrada on the show last Friday,
and basically it was like, explain this to me, like
the defaults, and like what exactly this means? And you know,
I think Schamar and his agent have a good point
that like, hey, we don't want to be the guinea
pig for this, but also guinea pigs don't have any
(01:47:27):
leverage when they're tested on right, or when they're used
in experiments, right, Guinea pigs have no say over the matter.
And it's kind of where we're at with Schamar because
the Bengals are just trying to protect themself from people
like Jermaine Burton. Right. Burton is the example with these defaults. Basically,
the Bengals are trying to protect himself down the road.
(01:47:50):
If a player does something like you know, the Carl
Pickens clause talking bad about the organization, or if he
gets in trouble with the league, if he gets arrested,
if he just goes a wall and disappears from football,
if he fails a drug test, blah blah blah blah blah.
To me, I look at that, if I'm Shamar Stewart
and I'm like, okay, well, that's all pretty well in
(01:48:11):
my control. I'm not going to get arrested. I'm not
going to fail a drug test. I'm not gonna, you know,
just disappear and quit football. And if I do what
I'm supposed to do, I'll get my money when I'm
supposed to get my money. And the Bengals are just
protecting himself from Hey, what if Jermaine, you know, a
Jermaine Burton type player does something, gets in trouble, loses
(01:48:31):
his mind, whatever, and that gives us a little bit
of financial freedom on the backside of that deal. So
to me, it makes sense for both sides. And more
than anything, it's in Stuart's control of not to get
himself into trouble. And so to me, I look at
both Hendrickson and Stuart and say that the Bengals have
(01:48:55):
all the leverage in the world. And also, by the way,
this is an uncommon throughout the NFL. We don't know
how many teams do it, how often they do it,
but we know that this sort of language has been
seen and used in the NFL in the past. That's
not it's not a crazy ask for the Bengals to
(01:49:16):
get that from Stuart. And their problem is basically, well,
Amarius Mims and Miles Murphy didn't have it, so we
don't want it, and we don't want to do and
we are We were the seventeenth pick and those guys
were drafted past us. Okay, well you don't really have
a choice.
Speaker 3 (01:49:36):
It just it just creates the unnecessary noise around a defense. Again,
all of this noise centers around the defense that was
woefully bad last year. That adds a new defensive coordinator,
that adds new pieces that would expect to have rookies
starting on it, that is expecting to get development from
(01:49:56):
younger players getting a fresh start. It's just a lot
from a standpoint of needing more and that's what this
defense needs now. Pro Football Focus went about projecting all
thirty two NFL starting lineups for the upcoming season, and
obviously a lot happens between now and training camp, but
(01:50:18):
I am interested offensively for the Bengals, not a ton
of surprises because it's June Burrow, Brown, Zach Moss number two,
Jamar Chase T. Higgins, andre Yoshibash Mike is SICKI The
offensive line that Pro Football Focus projects is Orlando Brown
Junior at left tackle, Cordell Volson at left guard, Ted
Carris at center, right guard Cody Ford, and right tackle
(01:50:41):
Marius Mims. That is the projected starting lineup on the
Bengals offensive side of the ball. Defense, it's interesting BJ Hill, TJ. Slayton,
Trey Hendrickson, Joseph Osai. They throw Shamar Stewart's name in here,
Jordan Battle, Ginostone, Dax Hill, DJ Turner, Cam Taylor Britt
(01:51:05):
and what I find interesting Logan Wilson. And they still
name Jermaine Pratt. Now, I don't think Jermaine Pratt is
going to be that guy by the time the season
rolls around. But are we discounting the fact that the
Bengals could keep despite his wishes? Jermaine Pratt or do
you look at them drafting multiple linebackers and just still
(01:51:27):
viewing that as a foregone conclusion that's going to happen eventually.
Speaker 2 (01:51:33):
And moving on from Pratt, I think he's insurance if
something goes wrong and hope that maybe somebody gets hurt
and a team needs him and that drives up his
value in training camp.
Speaker 3 (01:51:44):
Or the opposite if for some reason an injury happens here.
That's why I said insurance that he could be here.
So you know the other thing too, is do you
expect I mean, it's Jeraine Pratt we're talking about.
Speaker 2 (01:51:55):
You expect him to sit out training camp?
Speaker 4 (01:51:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:51:58):
No, Budy's gonn show up, get money. That's going to
be strange, correct, And then and then does it happen
between training camp or before? Between now and training camp? Right?
And that's why it doesn't really make sense because what
would change across the league now between now and training
(01:52:19):
camp where a team would need a linebacker? Nothing? Nothing?
So why is he still here? Right? I mean you
could have asked that question for months now. Yeah, and
you know it's we've passed the June first thing. And
even if they wanted to, they could have designated him
a post June first long before it, like teams do
all the time, and the Bengals do also. I just
don't really know what the plan is. I would love
(01:52:42):
to hear from I know they didn't talk to the media.
I don't know if that question was asked of Zach
and not that Zach would be able to answer it,
because Lord knows, the front office makes decisions that he
has nothing to do with. But that's going into next
week mandatory mini camp. You know, Jermaine Pratt is on
the team, right, He too would get fined if he
(01:53:07):
didn't show up, right, correct. I mean, so I wonder
if Zach sent the same text as Jermaine he said
to Trey Hendrickson, just so you know, yeah, just f yi.
So that I think is gonna be really interesting. And
if that's the case, then Trey's gonna or then Jermaine's
gonna be there and we'll probably get a chance to
hear from him. It's just that that part, to me,
(01:53:32):
is the most head scratching part of all of their
offseason moves. Yeah, it's not Gino Stone or Trey Hendrickson
or Shamar Stewart, it's why is that guy still here.
Speaker 3 (01:53:43):
Yep, no rhyme or reason seemingly around any of it.
Let's get a break in. We do have some T
Higgins and Jermaine Burton audio from yesterday's open locker room.
We'll give you some of that audio when we get back.
Quick update, bad to for the Cincinnati Reds. They are
now down five to one. And if you want to
(01:54:05):
know just how things are going, as they headed to
the top of the seventh, Ellie de la Cruz walked,
stole second, stole third, and with one out and a
man on third, seemingly with the infield back just needing contact,
Tyler Stevenson watched strike three and Spencer Steer grounded out.
Reds get nothing. They trail five to one as the
game turns into the seventh inning, Higgins, Burton and Moore.
(01:54:29):
When we come back Cincy three to sixty thanks to
Penn Station on ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station.
Speaker 1 (01:54:35):
Crapload at is back on ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station.
Speaker 3 (01:54:53):
Welcome back, Cincy three to sixty ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati
Sports Station. Thanks to Penn Station, UH, we had an
opportunity yesterday to hear some here from some Bengals wide receivers,
but also from Kim Taylor Britt, which was fantastic, who
intercepted a Joe Burrow passed through it as high as
he could in the air and essentially said he was
just trying to rile up Joe Burrow because he wanted
(01:55:14):
Shisty to come out. And obviously Joe Burrow responded in
deep ball to Jamar Chase uh as he normally does, but.
Speaker 2 (01:55:22):
Kim Taylor Britt made it made sure to say it
was on the opposite side of the field. I love
that little stuff, yep.
Speaker 13 (01:55:30):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (01:55:31):
But also after practice got to hear from some of
the wide receivers for the Cincinnati Bengals, uh, the first
being t Higgins.
Speaker 2 (01:55:37):
Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 22 (01:55:38):
Do you see seen another step in Andre this year?
Speaker 4 (01:55:41):
Oh man?
Speaker 6 (01:55:41):
Hell yeah, you know, Yoshi he teaching me thinks and
is night and day from from from last year to
this year. And y'all gonna see, y'all gonna see this year.
Yoshi's going really gonna come.
Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
On this show. He's teaching you things.
Speaker 22 (01:55:56):
Oh yeah, oh yeah. I can always learn from the
other receivers.
Speaker 6 (01:55:58):
You know, I mean I learned from Chase, I learned
from Charlie, I learned from Jamain, I learned from everybody.
You know, just do anything to put you know, put
in my bag.
Speaker 35 (01:56:06):
So sure, if he's taking those kinds of strides, knowing
that the Bengals have the best one two punch in
the league with you and Jamar, I mean, is this
three headed monster?
Speaker 22 (01:56:17):
He definitely could be.
Speaker 25 (01:56:18):
You know.
Speaker 6 (01:56:19):
That's what we're looking forward to doing. And I got
I got high expectations for Yoshi this year.
Speaker 2 (01:56:24):
What's different? Like, what what have you noticed improvement?
Speaker 4 (01:56:27):
Why?
Speaker 2 (01:56:27):
Specifically?
Speaker 22 (01:56:28):
Obviously y'all see him. He's bigger, and he got stronger.
Speaker 6 (01:56:31):
Uh he didn't got faster, he's twitchier and he's just
he know everything right now.
Speaker 22 (01:56:36):
And man, it's just it's been great to see what
do what.
Speaker 2 (01:56:38):
You've seen it from Jermaine, it might fee a little
bit different.
Speaker 6 (01:56:42):
Uh, he's been he's been more consistent. He's he's coming
in and out of his routes like he should be.
And he's not asking too many questions because you know,
you know what I mean, that's what we wanted.
Speaker 36 (01:56:52):
How's all the history stuff? Man, I know we talked
about that. How's that kind of study process, manage to
trying to figure out how to get that right.
Speaker 6 (01:57:00):
Like I was saying earlier, Uh, you know, I looked
I looked at it with my trainer and we've been
doing things, you know to prevent those injuries happening.
Speaker 2 (01:57:06):
Is it the same place that the different Green Bay winches. No,
you're still working with David in Miami. Yeah, she changed
it up, like your regimen because you have teacher change
up your daily routine or did you just for.
Speaker 6 (01:57:19):
Sure definitely definitely changed up you know, my my pre
practice routine.
Speaker 22 (01:57:24):
And things in that nature.
Speaker 2 (01:57:25):
So yeah, is that what it is? Is it more stretching,
getting loose? Like what's the focus on?
Speaker 6 (01:57:30):
Definitely got to get loose, get a little bit more looser,
a lot more stretching, and it's other things that that
that go into it as well.
Speaker 36 (01:57:37):
How about work clash right know that they really kind
of manage you midweek and kind of get you ready
for game day. How did that kind of whole process
and work for you? How did you How do you
feel like that went for it last year?
Speaker 22 (01:57:47):
Like it went really well.
Speaker 6 (01:57:49):
You know I was able to you know, be warned
for practice and muscles loose, So it definitely worked.
Speaker 2 (01:57:55):
Yeah, wants this year.
Speaker 36 (01:57:57):
Now that the contract's done, you don't have to hang
it over you. What do you want to go?
Speaker 22 (01:58:01):
Just helped my team win, you know what I mean.
I'm gonna go do what they pay me to do.
Speaker 35 (01:58:05):
Shure through a pick today, I'm the next play through
like a seventy yard touchdown for Jamar when he throws one.
Do you know that something's coming on the next play.
Speaker 22 (01:58:14):
I knew he was pissed off when he threw that pick.
I didn't know that was coming.
Speaker 6 (01:58:18):
I didn't even see him give Jamar that route, but
I just looked up the balls.
Speaker 22 (01:58:23):
And there Jamar was catching it.
Speaker 6 (01:58:24):
So hey, I'm happy when they when they connect like that,
I'm happy.
Speaker 2 (01:58:30):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:58:30):
So that is some good stuff there from T Higgins.
The progression and the development of andre Yoshi vash And
and Jermaine Burton and you know, the ability to kind
of take that next step of being on the field
more and maybe what goes into that, uh for T Higgins.
Outside of that, anything stand out to you from from
(01:58:50):
what T Higgins had to say, Austin.
Speaker 2 (01:58:53):
That is a guy who just looks really looks really relaxed. Yeah,
looks like a guy who is confident and can focus
on football, which has just not been T. Higgins for
the last couple of years. Yeah, and you know, there's
just something too that being taken care of, family, being
taken care of and being happy with where you're at
(01:59:14):
that maybe can allow him to take a deep breath.
And I mean he's been a beast even with all
that going on. Sure, and if he's able to come
up with ways to maybe manage that hamstring a little
bit easier and they have a plan for him so
that it's not something that is always in the back
of his mind, nor is the money in the back
of his mind, and he can just show up and
(01:59:35):
play football. I think it'd be really good for him. Yeah.
The other piece to this is Jermaine Burton. And we've
not spent a ton of time talking about Jermaine Burton,
but there have been others that have started to take
note of Jermaine Burton. Burrow has talked about it, Chase
has talked about it. We just heard T Higgins talk
about Jermaine Burton. And if you're talking about unlocking a
(01:59:58):
whole new level of this offense, remember that was a
third round pick used on Jermaine Burton. The development of
Jermaine Burton could be huge to tie into what this
team already has. When we come back, you'll hear a
little of Jermaine Burton talking from yesterday's locker room as well.
Ahead Since He three to sixty thanks to Penn Station
(02:00:19):
on ESPN fifteen thirty.
Speaker 1 (02:00:21):
Until UKWY Cincinnati Mix Cincy three sixty continues on ESPN
fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station.
Speaker 3 (02:00:37):
Welcome back since He three sixty ESPN fifteen thirty, Cincinnati
Sports Station, A service of our good friends at Penn Station.
End of seven at Great American Ballpark, Reds Trail five one,
looking Austin here to add to the list, which would
be thirty nine straight series lowit losses after losing Game one,
(02:01:00):
having beaten the Milwaukee Brewers since twenty twenty two, and
obviously not having found to win this season when trailing
after six innings. All of those things on the line
over the last two at bats for the Cincinnati regis
Great American Ballpark just extremely impossible to even fathom. Regardless,
there is an opportunity to unlock even more if you
(02:01:20):
can believe that. In the Cincinnati Bengals offense this upcoming season.
We've talked about the emergence of Chase Brown and what
that could mean. We've talked about Jamar, Chase and T
Higgins now getting those contracts done and not having to
worry about anything except going out there and playing at
the highest level possible. Mike Kasiki another year in the system,
(02:01:42):
trying to shore up the offensive line. Wide receiver three
is a genuine talking point for this team. You imagine
the favorable matchups that the third wide receiver of this
team would get with one on one matchups. Seakest of
probably the cover players for the opposing defense is going
(02:02:04):
to go to the third wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.
That could be Andrey Yoshi Vash who T Higgins talked
highly about, or that could be Jermaine Burton who fell
flat flat. I mean, just any way you slice it,
he fell flat. In year one with the Cincinnati Bengals,
the off the field issues became a ton The on
(02:02:25):
field issue, the inability to really understand the playbook at
times it felt like and not be on the same page,
did not get Gardner much trust from the Cincinnati Bengals.
So with that, you have the opportunity to either kind
of roll over or get back to work. And by
all accounts, Jermaine Burton's been a guy that has been
(02:02:46):
living at the facility just feeding off of Jamar Chase
and T Higgins and others, and you're starting to see
that payoff by the way others are starting to talk
about Jermaine Burton. Here is what Jermaine Burton had to
say for himself yesterday.
Speaker 4 (02:03:03):
He's a d tour for.
Speaker 37 (02:03:04):
You, Jermaine last year just to say, all right, let's
get things going in the right direction and kind of
encouraging you to be better.
Speaker 2 (02:03:10):
As a man, as a football player.
Speaker 6 (02:03:13):
You know, chasing t I have really done a real
good job, you know, uh, you know, helping me in
and out of the facility and you know, talking with me,
coming up with better ways and you know, listen, listening
to some of their habits and ways that they uh
they stay consistent and you know, just better overall connection
with my teammates.
Speaker 4 (02:03:28):
For you, what's the best advice you've got?
Speaker 6 (02:03:33):
I don't really want to talk about the best advice,
but I will just say consistency has a lot.
Speaker 2 (02:03:38):
To do with it.
Speaker 37 (02:03:39):
Are you excited to kind of prove that you are
the guy that the Bengals drafted still this year?
Speaker 22 (02:03:44):
For sure?
Speaker 5 (02:03:45):
Great?
Speaker 34 (02:03:46):
How difficult was that for you when the team decided
to not bring you to that final game of this season?
Speaker 6 (02:03:55):
You know, nobody should be happy with it, and you
know I was very disappointed, but you know it's something
that I moved on from and you know, grew from
and you know, can't wait looking forward, really looking forward
to this year.
Speaker 8 (02:04:07):
How much time did you see this offseason so far
to think about yourself, your future and your dedication to
what you want your career to be in the NFL.
Speaker 6 (02:04:16):
Uh, day in and day out, you know, sleepless nights honestly, Uh,
you know, just sitting there thinking. You know, I could
sit there and just think about football all night, and
you know it's just something that I love and you know,
something that I really, you know, enjoy doing.
Speaker 16 (02:04:30):
So I want to.
Speaker 6 (02:04:31):
Do the best that I can to you know, get
a better player I can be.
Speaker 2 (02:04:35):
You think the fangles you're giving you a sac futures, I.
Speaker 6 (02:04:39):
Wouldn't look at it like a you know chance. I
just look at it. You know, they're you know, my coaches,
and they really believe in me, so how.
Speaker 18 (02:04:45):
Important of an offseason is this for you to establish
a routine and get into the groove before an NFL
season because obviously instagramment.
Speaker 6 (02:04:53):
Yeah, you know, it's very important. You know, as a team,
we have one goal, you know, we want to we
really want to win a super Bowl. So you know,
everybody in his locker room has worked their ass off
offseason and you know, to become the best player that
they can be in better habits and better routines for everybody,
and you know, it's all about just falling in line
with it, you know, everybody being on the same page.
Speaker 2 (02:05:12):
All right.
Speaker 3 (02:05:13):
So I know that seeing it on the field still
has to be done. But do you since Austin that
the way others have talked about him and what you
hear from Jermaine Burton, that he may have taken the
next step necessary in that development and then that maturity
to be who the Bengals need him to be.
Speaker 2 (02:05:30):
I think it's kind of hard to tell for sure,
because it's not really we're not in the season. We're
not in the grind of the season where you're there
every single day for hours and film and your body
hurts and you're putting in game plans and all that.
It's just it's hard to say for sure, but we
(02:05:53):
haven't heard of anything throughout the off season of him
being an issue, and he's been here most of the
off season, and the fact that some of those guys
would go out of their way to say that, I
think is a good sign for sure that they're heading
in the right direction.
Speaker 3 (02:06:07):
What do you think, Yeah, I think that if there
wasn't conversation around Jermaine Burton, it would be worse. But
hearing that he's spending a lot of hours at the facility,
hearing teammates speak highly of him, the maturity, I think
is a big thing. As much as you hope that
can be done from an offseason standpoint, I think he's
(02:06:28):
at least checked those boxes. Again, you got to do
it on the field. You got to do it consistently.
You've got to earn the trust of Joe Burrow and
the quarterback and I'm sorry not the quarterback, but the
offensive coordinator and those calling a place to give you
the opportunities. But if you can iron that stuff out,
I think you get a good opportunity to at least contribute.
(02:06:48):
Because we did see him Austin at least when he
got the ball in his hands, he could be a problem.
Speaker 4 (02:06:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:06:53):
We saw that in the return game. We saw him
catch a few deep passes. Yeah. I was impressed with
his elusiveness and his ability to return kickoffs and be
a threat in that way. I also think, you know,
that's the sort of thing that the Bengals could turn
into a strength because of how good Burton seemed to
be at it and how we know Charlie Jones is
(02:07:14):
one of the better ones in the NFL at being
able to return kicks. If they're able to turn that
into a strength, that is, that's how you win in
the margins. So if he's able to create value in
some way, whether it's special teams or not, and building
up the trust throughout the preseason, I think that can
be a good thing, just because you know, you know,
(02:07:35):
Higgins talked a lot about how much bigger Yoshi Vash
is and how he's a beast, but still I don't
know that anyone would say his athleticism matches that of
Jermaine Burton, And just to be able to have someone
like that who you have to account for him going
deep and oh, by the way, Chase and Higgins and
Yoshi vas are on the field at the same time,
(02:07:58):
and oh, here comes Chase Brown and motion. That's a
lot to have to defend. Yeah, and just consistency and
being any sort of a threat is a huge, huge
thing for this offense because, you know, I don't think
it's fair. We can get into more of this tomorrow.
I don't think it's fair to expect them to operate
(02:08:18):
at the same level they did last year. Yeah, maybe
you agree with that, maybe you don't. We can talk
about it more another time. But they are going to
have to find wrinkles in the offense during the course
of this offseason to change it up because teams are
gonna prepare, teams are gonna study them, Teams are gonna
find ways to take away what they like to do.
(02:08:39):
And sometimes it's a more consistent run game with Chase
Burns or Chase Chase Brown. Sometimes it's gonna be Mike
Gisiki in the slot, or sometimes it's gonna be Jermaine
Burton out wide and taking up to two defenders. Yeah,
like that sort of stuff. You have to find wrinkles
to to consistent on offense and be able to overcome
(02:09:02):
and move the chains keep drives alive.
Speaker 3 (02:09:05):
I've never been more confident in my statement that I
could get a hit off Wade Miley.
Speaker 2 (02:09:09):
You know I'm starting to lean that direction.
Speaker 3 (02:09:10):
Holy cow, that is a brutal hate to say that
eighth inning for Wade Miley. I was not expecting to
see Wade Miley pitch today. No, I could have won
without seeing it.
Speaker 2 (02:09:19):
I thought Wade Miley was going to be a starter
moving forward. Yeah, he probably should because the shouldn't use
him of the bullpen. I think maybe Chase Burns. Yep,
forget everything I said. Just get to the Big.
Speaker 3 (02:09:29):
League Red's Reds trail six to one as they head
to us. Come back is going to be crazy.
Speaker 2 (02:09:33):
Of the eighth inning, Quick hits is next. Moe's not
in today.
Speaker 3 (02:09:37):
James is in from MO, but he's not here yet,
So Austin and I will have quick hits next. Thanks
to Penn Station at since he three six, James Rapine,
oh ball Miller accordingly just a guy to something, uh,
since he three sixty. Thanks to Penn Station, Thank you
for listening on ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati Sports Station.
Speaker 1 (02:09:55):
From the Brown Heating temp Star three sixty continues on
esp in fifteen thirty Cincinnati's sports station. It's time for
since he three sixty quick hits on ESBN fifteen thirty.
Speaker 3 (02:10:08):
All right, no, Moager, he's out. James Rapena is in
for MO today, but he's not in yet, so we
got was looking for Mo just a normal segment for James.
I don't know someone I had. Has anyone seen James?
Speaker 2 (02:10:21):
I mean, he just tweeted that he's gonna be here.
He here? Does he remember how to get here? Show
starts soon? Hey? Arn? What's on James's show today? That
that MIC's not on? What'd you say? Bengals? He said, okay, Bengals?
All right, probably would do him well not to bring
up what this Red game has been. Yeah, probably, I
(02:10:42):
mean it's been awful. Uh, you know. Just I hope
that he will talk about maybe the biggest story in sports,
which is that the Colorado Rockies have just swept the
Miami marvel at that three straight for the Colorado Rockies unbelievable,
hottest team in baseball, some say they, I mean, they're
on pace right now to finish one hundred and twelve
and fifty.
Speaker 3 (02:11:03):
Yep, hottest team in all of Major League Baseball arguably
resides in Colorado.
Speaker 2 (02:11:10):
I don't know that. I would say arguably. After the
way TJ. Friedel took down the Brewers last night.
Speaker 3 (02:11:17):
They share the second longest winning streaking baseball, just one
behind the woeful Wolf of Baltimore Ools, who have won
four in a row.
Speaker 2 (02:11:24):
Are the Orioles back question mark? Nope, Okay, Reds aren't
back as well. Redg're gonna lose this ball game. It's
just a poor, poor showing. You get Andrew Rabbit on
the mound against a team going through a bullpen day,
you burn through opportunities early in the game. Santiago Espinal
continues to hit number two in this lineup, which makes
(02:11:45):
zero sense to anybody. They're woefully bad with situational hitting.
And yeah, I don't even know where to go with
this from the Reds anymore. Austin and we were so
positive to start the show today. We tried, we tried
to talk about this team coming back and TJ. Friedel's
catch last night sparking something new, and yet here we
(02:12:08):
are ground it again. We got ready for takeoff and
there was a weight problem with the luggage underneath.
Speaker 3 (02:12:16):
They grounded the plane. Maybe the Reds will take off
against Arizona. The Reds are off tomorrow, Off day tomorrow.
We've mentioned Ellie daily Cruz will not be with the
team at least for this next series as he heads
home and obviously takes care of everything with his sister
who tragically passed away. But no Ellie against Arizona. Will
(02:12:38):
be interested see how this team can respond as they
seemingly slip further and further and further out of contention.
Other happenings tonight, we do get game one of the
Stanley Cup Finals. Edmonton is a favorite right now over
the Florida Panthers, a slight favorite. Albeit I did have
(02:13:00):
We didn't get to buy sell today, but I was.
I do want to ask two of the buy sell
questions to you real quick, okay.
Speaker 2 (02:13:07):
One from a.
Speaker 3 (02:13:10):
Betting standpoint, the total games played in the NBA Finals
is set at five and a half. Buy or sell
the NBA Finals under six games?
Speaker 2 (02:13:22):
I would buy that, okay.
Speaker 3 (02:13:24):
Other one I had buy or sell c J Stroud
this upcoming season because there's something going on in Houston
right now?
Speaker 2 (02:13:35):
What is it?
Speaker 3 (02:13:35):
He's yet to throw sighting shoulder soreness. Oh, and the
Texans remain adamant that it's nothing they're worried about. He's
not thrown at all, but it's just general soreness in
his should.
Speaker 16 (02:13:50):
Now.
Speaker 3 (02:13:51):
I saw something from Trey Wingo on social media and
he just took the social media and he said, let
me tell you something. The Texan season ended in January.
The fact that it's June and c J. Stroud has
shoulder soreness and is not throwing. They're lying to you
by saying it's not a problem. That is in fact
the problem and something they should be worried about. True,
(02:14:12):
he's had a whole off season. He's not throwing.
Speaker 2 (02:14:15):
Must be the Spencer Steer plan. We saw the recovery.
Speaker 3 (02:14:18):
General general shoulder soreness with Spencer Steer and that has
not voted well. But buying or selling, I would sell
the c J. Stroud Stock sell, sell sell. That couldn't
have been higher to also got rid of other good
offensive linemen. Yeah, fired their offensive coordinator. Stroud Stock was
at an all time high year and a half ago.
Speaker 2 (02:14:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:14:39):
Does Jade and Daniels take the year two rookie dip?
I'm not, I'm sorry, not the year two more slump
the sophomore slump that we saw. I'm not saying Stroud
was terrible last year, but from what he did year
one to year two, yes, do we see that from
Jaden Dens.
Speaker 2 (02:14:51):
I'm buying a slump for Jayden Daniels. Okay, I like that.
Who are you buying as the favorite in the NFC
right now, Philadelph? Okay? How close to the top of
the rams for you? They're right there? Top three? Who's
your favorite in the AFC? The sincident kid? Probably Buffalo? Yeah,
(02:15:18):
they run the football.
Speaker 3 (02:15:20):
They run the rock, and maybe they'll get trade.
Speaker 2 (02:15:24):
I think their defense has gotten better. They got Bosa,
didn't they. He's hurt, but well what's new on that?
Speaker 4 (02:15:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:15:29):
I know he's hurt all the time. All Right, we're
done anything else? I got nothing else. You wanna talk
about the red somemorrow while they play? Nope?
Speaker 3 (02:15:37):
Okay, done with it. Reds Trail six one. Tyler Stevens
has got another opportunity to the runner in scoring position,
and we know how that will probably go. That'll probably
go no more in a very good way. We'll be
back at it again tomorrow. For since he three six,
what are we going to talk about? I have no idea.
I mean, he already broke down the whole Reds game,
no idea whatsoever. If you've got a show topic that
(02:15:59):
you want to hear tomorrow on Cincy three sixty. If
you want to fund my trip to the Dead Baudie
Elmore at Tony Underscore Pike fifteen, James your penis next,
have a great rest to your Wednesday shows up since
E three sixty on ESPN fifteen thirty Cincinnati sports station.
Speaker 19 (02:16:18):
W uc KY Cincinnati, make us the number one pre
set on your car radio and on the free, new
and improved iHeartRadio. AD Free never sounded so good.
