Speaker 1 (00:00):
Continues on ESPN fifteen thirty, Cincinnati's Sports station. It's time
for Cincy three sixty quick hits on ESPN fifteen thirty.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Was looking for yeah here.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
I just heard him at sincey three sixty ESPN fifteen
thirty Cincinnati Sports Station.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
MO, what's happening? How are you? You know?

Speaker 4 (00:18):
I'm doing great, Tony?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
How about you? Guys? This is awesome.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
I'm I feel like we're we're on different spots, which
is very unique to do quick.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hits, which is true. What do you got today on
the upcoming Mowagger Show?

Speaker 5 (00:31):
Mo, Well, in addition to the latest from Bengals training
camp from your soft of course.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
The day.

Speaker 5 (00:39):
I mean, I don't know. There are a lot of
people down there covering training camp. You're there for like
the entire day, all day long, out there outside, and
so you're gonna join us at three forty five, four
forty five, and five forty five.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Let's talk about what has.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
Become one of the more interesting questions as Bengals training
camp continues to unfold, We'll start to turn our attention
to the preseason opener on Saturday night. Red's over the weekend.
Let me do the matth here really quick. They lose
by three and get no hit. On Friday, they win
by two. On Saturday they lose by six. Yesterday, the

(01:11):
run differential for the weekend was minus seven. Yeah, minus
seven run differential. They go one and two. I feel
like many have reached the point of no return as
it relates to David Bell. So for the first time
on this show, we will talk about who the Reds
manager should or shouldn't be in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Wow, how about that FC Cincinnati is an action tonight
in the League's Cup.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
How did you thay? What was your Luke Comb's experience Saturday?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Awesome?

Speaker 5 (01:40):
What a show, What an experience. The venue originally known
as Paul Brown Stadium. That is the fourth concert I've
been to there. It is an awesome concert venue. I mean,
it really is a beautiful summer night. Luke Colmbs takes
the stage right at dusk. The show is terrific. The
long journey, It took a while, but we got there

(02:00):
and we had a blast on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
What did you make of Luke bringing his friends up
on stage to pay up a fantasy football.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Bat slight waste of time. Didn't care, not there to
watch them, but I thought it was funny.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, really really cool to see the banks and packed
Great American Ballpark in the concert over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
All really good stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
As it pertains to the Cincinnati Bengals Mo Jamar Chase
now just kind of feels like it's that Okay, it
is what it is type of thought. I mentioned that
a couple of different camp battles going on right tackle
Marius Mems. Trent Brown is now back the cornerback depth
chart in the battle Zach Moss versus Chase Brown. As
it is now game week preseason game week number one,

(02:43):
what is the biggest camp battle in your opinion still
going on?

Speaker 5 (02:46):
The one that I'm most interested in is a Marius Mems.
You know they have the first depth chart. He still
listed as the backup, which is great. I love everything
I hear and read about a Marius Memes. I love
everything I hear and read about a Marius Mims because
to me, if the Bengals are gonna have a significantly
improved offensive line right that means Marius Mims is a

(03:09):
starting right tackle. Because I feel like we know what
Trent Brown is. What we don't know is we don't
know how good a Marius Mims can be if he
can beat him out, that means he plays to the
level in camp that he beats out a guy that
they prioritized. That tells me they think his ceiling in
year one is really high. And it tells me that
they did a good job at ignoring the big red

(03:29):
flag that everybody was worried about, which was him only
playing or i should say, only starting eight college football games.
That's the one to me that is most interesting. But
you know, above and beyond that, I think what's kind
of turned into an interesting storyline here is what happens
on the defensive line camp. Sample's not gonna play achilles
injury for the rest of the season, unfortunately. Zach Taylor

(03:50):
talked about it today. You've talked about it a bunch.
They're calling Trey and Sam week to week, which we're
still five weeks away from the opener.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
But is there gonna be a move of swords in
that group.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
But as it relates to guys on the roster right now,
Amarus Mims and his road. He's got to play in
the game still, but his road to maybe being the
starting right tackle, to me at least, is most interesting.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
And most exciting.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, I cannot wait to watch that unfold. I just
told Austin this before seeing Trent Brown in person. There's
no way these guys are the same height. He just
looks absolutely massive. But you know, if we go back
MO to the start of the offseason, stopping the run
and getting after the passer were two of the major
concerns for this roster. And I know cam Sample wasn't

(04:38):
an all pro at either of those, but James Epene
just kind of mentioned cam Sample as like Sam Hupper
two point zero, where he was so good at both
and you just didn't realize that it puts an emphasis
on Miles Murphy. It puts an emphasis on Joseph Osai.
I really do think that it is a question that
the Bengals now have to answer over the last couple

(04:59):
of weeks of training camp or the regular season gets here.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
And I think for Joseph Osai, they're sort of like
a okay, big boy, here it is.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
This is it right?

Speaker 4 (05:06):
This is year four.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
We at some point we have to stop talking about
the last time the Bengals played the Bucks in the
preseason in twenty twenty one. Here it is, man, here's
a shot. Unfortunately, a guy that you were maybe in
competition with Othough. I think we all thought cam Sample
was going to be on the team. Here's a guy
who is maybe in your way. He's out of the way.
Now go take advantage, Go see's opportunity. We're tired of waiting, right,

(05:27):
We're tired of waiting for it from Joseph Osai. Injuries
have obviously been a factor, but that to me, that
that's a guy you would love to be able to say, well,
look we have Joseph Osai, but you can't, and that's
why you have to explore other options. It would be
awesome if in the coming weeks Joseph Osai can make
us forget about any other option in that position. Group.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
I haven't had a chance to catch up with any
of the Michigan guys today, but what's your take on
what happened over the weekend with the University of Michigan.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
I woke up to those text messages. I woke up
to the text between Sharon Moore and Connor Stallions. Yeah,
didn't need that. Didn't need that in my life. The connress.
When's the Connor Sallions Netflix thing come out?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
It's got to be soon. Timing. The timing couldn't be
any better.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
This is nothing that's going to move the meter. Michigan
won the national title last year. It's not going to
be vacated. And if it is, it still happened. Yeah,
let's all move.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
On anything that you've seen yet. I know you're gonna
get there this week from UC training camp.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
I haven't been. I want to go.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
I was gonna go today and then a man had
to come to my house to fix a refrigerator, so
that that kind of got in the way.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
What would you have put the odds on on, you know,
seeing folks down here at camp. Chris Mack is here
today watching camp practice.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
I saw that on his on his social media.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Feed down here Joe Burrow, Jersey.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Charleston head coach. That's it's pretty good, pretty good.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Chris Mack is a successful He has been a successful
UH Division one men's basketball coach. Things that Louisville didn't
unfold the way anyone would have liked. There are like
well known people who claim to be fans, but you
know they're really not. Chris Mack is one of the
biggest Bengals fans. I know, like legitimate big Bengals fan

(07:14):
so much so that like when when he was a
Xavier and you know, we would chat with him during
the season, like invariably he wouldn't want to talk about
his team as much. He'd want to talk about the Bengals.
Like he was at the Super Bowl in Los Angeles
having a really good time, which was awesome. So it's
not surprising at all. Obviously he's from here, but it's
it's not surprising at all to see him all wrapped

(07:36):
up in the Bengals because he is. He's not just
some like you know, famous fan who's only there when
they're good. He would talk about him with me when
they were bad.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Let's get a lock of the night in Austin.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Hey degenerates, It's time for Lots of the Night presented
by Cincy Shirts.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Visit the stores in.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
Hyde Park, Lovelin, or on Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell
and always online at sinsy shirt dot com.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
Now let's make you some money, you know, for.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
What it's worth, mo I know.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
The first depth chart came out today, which means absolutely
nothing because cam sample Will still listed as number two
on the depth chart. But they're right now, they're doing
their first team drill of the day, and this kind
can just be a part of a camp report. Marius
Mems is still starting at right tackle as of right
now with the starters and what they're they're doing the
backed up period right now. So Zach Taylor's had a
lot of special teams emphasis today, but right now they're

(08:26):
backed up on the two yard line having to get
out trying to get a first down. And for now
that still is Marius Mems playing right tackle.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
And you mentioned this is like a thousand guys today
not practicing, So who is out there today?

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Not a lot of people practicing. You know, It's it's weird, mo.
How long before we're expected to see Trey hendrickson again?
He practice, He's practiced once af training camp. Good question,
We've yet to see him in to day now. Sam
Hubbard had a legitimate very scare I get that. But
Sheldon Rank and Sam Hubard and Trey Henderson, we're on
the reheab field to.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
Say, hey, look damn good shotgun in that beer Lou
Combs on Friday. Yeah, he looked healthy, he looked healthy,
he looks stout, he looked good to go. So, like
my big takeaway from the entire on one of music
Downtown was Trey looks good.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Trey looks good, shot good in that beer.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
I couldn't tell you anything about stocks or anything like that,
but I've heard. I've heard that this is like black
Monday today. I heard there's a lot of people freaking out.
Moh so, whenever I see something going on in the
country and people freaking out, I immediately looked to Nick Castianos,
who's plus seven hundred to hit a home run. I
like Nick Castianos to leave the yard tonight at plus
seven hundred.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Uh, we're gonna go under eight and a half.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Twins, Cubs, We're gonna go under nine, Mets, Cardinals. We're
gonna go Rangers first five. We're gonna go Cincinnati reds
oh boy first five tonight with Nick Martinez getting the ball.
We are gonna fade Rottery Munos first five, minus one
forty five Red starting a road trip tonight.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
What else can you tell me about Rottery?

Speaker 4 (09:54):
He's not related to Anthony.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
There it is. That's Moegor. You can hear more of
that and other things on the Mowggor Show today.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Mo thanks for joining. I'll talk to you soon.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Thank you.
