Speaker 1 (00:00):
He continues on ESPN fifteen thirty, Cincinnati's sports station. It's

(00:06):
time for since the three clickits on.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
ESPN fifteen thirty.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Yeah, we're back thanks to uh I don't know what
that was and station. This is quick Hits, Locks of
the Night with Moa. It's Wednesday, which means Mosen Studio today. Yes,
mo what have you got coming up on the show?
We have the Moegger Show. Yes on ESPN fifteen thirty.
Big Fans one of my favorites. Really one of my
favorite shows.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
It's not one of mine. Joe Burrow's going to talk
at three fifteen today.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah, and uh, I think there's a great public demand
to hear from the quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals. And
I've noticed over the last couple of weeks the questions
are getting louder. M. I heard you guys play Zach
Taylor before. About that you can start to hear and
start to hear some of the questions and out Zac Taylor,
do you see us? I just scramble like I got

(00:56):
to fill a couple of minutes here from Miles Garrett
on behalf of our radio station. I'd like to thank
the assembled Pro Football media for keeping it short and sweet,
and thanks Zach Taylor for keeping it short and sweet
as well. So obviously a lot of the Bengals, as
they get said for the Battle of Ohio Bengals and Browns,
I should there be apprehension because of the team's recent history.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
They've lost seven in a row in Cleveland. They've lost
when they were the better team in Cleveland before.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Should that matter?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
No, I can't find it. I can't find a scenario
where they lose the recent history, which makes me nervous.
That should matter is the last six weeks, not the
last seven years. Yeah, they played down to their competition.
They don't play well against good defensive lines. That should matter.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
And I think the Browns can shorten the game.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
HM. So I think this point spreads a little bit
too hefty. I believe the Bengals is gonna win the football,
but like there have been some games this year where
I thought They're gonna win that game pretty convincingly and
I've been wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, I don't feel that way.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
I don't feel that way, and so I kind of
want to tap into that a little bit. Bearcat's got
a bit of a break. Unfortunately, because I don't root
for in for that game on Saturday. We're going to
spend some time on that. You guys talked yesterday about
Jerry Jones and him he did something that I hate,
and Shannon Sharp has gone viral for a video clip,

(02:12):
and I agreed with what he said. I think there's
nothing lower, especially public, no doubt, no doubt. I think
there's nothing worse than holding someone's job over their head,
especially publicly.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
And I just here, I'll make it. I'll make a deal.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Okay, you can be an NFL owner and you can
reap all the benefits financially and from a social stratus standpoint,
and in exchange, occasionally some guy in the radio is
going to ask you questions about your decision making. Does
that sound like a transaction you would make? When Jerry
Jones decided to make it, he has done very well

(02:48):
and yet he made a full out of himself. And
so I was kind of going back and forth a
little bit with people on social media, which is, you know,
always fun. And so we're going to spend some time
on that. Also, a Reds fans don't agree with my
take today, here's my take. I'll run it past you guys.
Here's how you make the outfield better get outfielders. Yeah,
but instead another year, let's say this guy playing second base.

(03:09):
But you know what we could do is we can
have a good place center We can trive in center.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Field and spring training.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Look, if you want to experiment next year, awesome, enjoy
finishing in fourth place. I don't want to finish in
fourth place. I wanna win the World Series next year.
I want less experimentation. The motto for the Reds. There's
no Reds Fest this year. The motto should be Tito
time and less experimentation.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yea. And what we saw last night is teams can
compete for a World Series while also running the bases
like drunks.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
According to John Starling, good for John Sterling. Good for
John Sterling.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I was gonna put that the Reds run the bases
like the Yankees in October in July.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Did you ever envision in a postseason game walking Wan
Soda to load the bases for Aaron Judge. I'm watching
that last night, like but it I mean, and Judge
gets right later and hits a home run, but goes
to show how these streaks run in basketball. Finally, I
also love I'm listening to Jake Diebler and I'm listening
to Wes Miller today. It sounds like there's actual interest
in making this an annual thing with games that mean

(04:07):
something as well.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yeah, so Brandon Sajo is gonna join us. And there's
obviously a huge mental health component to these games, and
that's terrific. And it started with Anthony Grant, whose family
dealt with just absolute tragic and he and his family
have tried to turn this into a positive. And so
I commend these programs. You know, I've had Wes Miller

(04:30):
and Sean Miller both on my show over the last
couple of weeks, and both have gone out of their
way to talk about, like, hey, the background of this
game matters more than the game itself, and that's awesome.
You can still do that with regular season games. We
have the Jimmy V Classic, we have the Coaches Versus
Cancer Classic, We have fundraising basketball events that do great

(04:51):
things but also provide college basketball games that matter. And
I certainly hope the Bearcats beat a Ohio State, but
let's be honest, from a competitive standpoint, if they do.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
It's it's not like it's really good to matter all
that much.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
So I would love to see if if they could
figure out to mess the initiative with games that more
people are paying attention to sure, and then if more
people are paying attention to it, they're they're paying more attention.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
To the initiative.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Pay attention to this.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
We got about a minute for Locks of the Night.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Dude, Hey, oh it's time for Locks of the Night
on since E three sixty.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Let's make you some money. What happens? I love it?
What are you doing?

Speaker 3 (05:35):
I like the Bearcats of Sam Houston two and a
half point favorites and a half point favorites because I
don't think West Kentucky's wearing the cool helmets.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Something happened that I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I like the Dodgers, not like the Dodgers as well.
To go on the road win at City Field.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
You guys that I had to get the memo something.
We moved some things around. To move some things around. Okay,
that's what it's gonna be for a while.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Since he shirt's a sponsor talkbacks now and not Locks
of the Night.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
So there's a lot. So there's a Locks of the
Night opportunity out there.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
There is, So if Locks of the Night is not
sponsored he means I don't have to participate. It's and
I could just take everything under my paywall.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
It's true. In fact, I can make you can tell people.
