Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, our guy, Dan Klaskins is with us good
Sportsinfo dot com. He joins us every Thursday to uh
dispense fantasy football advice and help us win our leagues.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I got two leagues, Dan, One is five and one
the other is one.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
In five I'm going in complete total opposite directions.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I need some help in one. I need some help
in both.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Actually I need helping the one that I'm five and
one because I might have a chance in that one.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
The other one, I'm I'm playing out the string. How
you doing?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yeah, that's true, doctor Jackyo, mister high fantasy football. I'm
always consistently and consistent.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
You know what that is?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Uh, that is a very very fair assessment of me
in every phase of my life. The story of the
week in the NFL is a story of the week
as it relates to fantasy football, and that's wide receivers
on the move. We've already had two dealt this week,
likely more. Let's talk about the fantasy impact of the
two guys who have been traded and some other guys
who still maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Absolutely some big moves here. And we still got three
weeks to the training dets and actually the trade deadlines
on election day for PM like November the fifth. But man,
we got some big news this week. Demonte Adams suddenly
over miraculously that hamstring issue.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
That sidelined him is the whole participant?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Is it Jet's uniform traded here and reunited with this
pow Aaron Rodgers. Obviously this is a big boots for Adams, who,
in my opinion, with this familiarity with everything, he goes
right back in the back end wide.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
Receiver one conversation.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I have concerned what this means for Garrett Wilson, the
guy that was previously and that means that guy. Imagine
he takes a little bit of a dip. I'm not
really excited about what's left on the Raiders, but if
I was to pick a white out Jacobe Myers, is
that guy the more fascinating trade for me, though, In
the surprising one here Amari Cooper being dealt to Buffalo,
where he goes from Deshaun Watson and Josh.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Allen, I mean, is about it.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
I can't put words on that up great for his fantasy.
Cooper might take a little more time to get familiar here,
so temper your expectations, but his value is on the rise,
and certainly it's.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Going to help Josh Allen quite a bit.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Nothing to get excited about on the Browns, I guess
by the picked receiver Jerry Duty is now that the
factor number one. As you mentioned, though, do whatte receivers
out there.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
I'm sure you've been talking about a lot of our listeners.
I think the Bengals.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Somehow don't went to the next three. I mean, gig
and be a guy that would make any team happy.
I'm not sure there's many places he could go where
I would say his value would take a big step up.
So we will see, hopefully that's not the case. More
likely names to get traded DeAndre Alkins, Mike Williams, who
of course was with the Jets and now is disposable
with that his arrival, and Adams deal with some vestments

(02:43):
here that can help the team. Hopkins in particularly, I
think that's enough. Jews, the Felts up in the place
like let's say Kansas City. That could be a big,
big thing there, so you might want to try buying
him on the low.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
All right, let's talk about the injuries worth paying attention to.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Is week seven inches closer?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Yes, sir, Let's.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Start Dervis and receivers, and man I was watching that
game live with Marvin Harrison Junior last week. That was
certainly a concerning way. He's a sort of fellow the ground.
He hasn't really gotten past any stage of concussion protocol.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Adds up yet.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
We'll keep our eyes on it. Still holding that hope,
but unlikely.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
I think he'll play and week sn't. Goodness is within
the league.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Neighbors finally out of concussion protocol, return to practice today.
Now he's heard his hamstring though, so he left practice
with the hamstring issue.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Will keep our eyes on that.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
We are not expecting Chris that Lobby with concussion or
Rashid Shaheed for tonight's game, but the Saints and especially
Shaheed Adam Schefter reporting he's out.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
For the seed.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
That's a big blow for one of fantasy's favorite mid
round picks this summer.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
So uh, New Orleans fading fast. Obviously. Nick Chubb's coming
back this week.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I know we've been talking about that one too. I'm
not going to insert him in any fantasy lineups right
I think they're going to be easing back into it.
The offensive line nodded good lets him play your way
into your lineup as you can. James Cook trading in
the right direction towards playing this week. Aaron Jones returned
to practice league. I haven't seen Jonathan Taylor yet with
the ankle. Jordan Mason will get some more info on

(04:12):
later today. I'm optimistic he comes back after an injury
a week ago Thursday with the day see joined for
Bondre Steens and they're traveling to London with the foot
issue for the second straight day, not at practice. It's
looking like he's going to miss another week here for
the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
And then ty J.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Spears, Devon A. Kaine, a couple other guys just concussion,
the hamstring will look at MO, but man, they are
piling up.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
It is the season of survival right now.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
And how whoever has the fewest injuries of guys on
their team might end up being the one that wins
third FANTASYEA.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, no, paying attention very very closely to what's happening
injury wise around the league. All right, Dan Klaskins, Good
Sportsinfo dot Com. Give me your weekly studs, duds and sleepers.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I'm gonna go with a pair of brocks this week.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I'm going to go brock.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Purdy San Francisco versus Kansas fit the teams like most
of the thing and it's a defensive battle, But I
don't know. I think San fran has to keep pace
here with Kansas City and Andy Bee coming out of
the by I like a higher scoring match up here,
and I think Brock Perdy is in line for at
least a pair of touchdowns brought Bowers on the other
side of it, I mean, he might be the best

(05:19):
tight end in fantas. He's certainly the best target on
Vegas and that they're playing from behind like I expect
against the Rams season for another big day.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
They're a tight end for the rookie. On the dud side,
for Shad.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
White, he's been nagged with a nagging injury. He's also
dealing with competition for carries now. Bucky Irving's joined by
Sean Tucker in that back Buckfield Bucks backfield a tough
match up here versus Baltimore White. You're gonna avoid him
this week at all possible. I'm also avoid Michael Pittman
Junior really all cold flight out that I expect Anthony
Richardson to return at quarterback there from his oblique injury.

(05:50):
Pidman Junior has been pretty much useless when he's.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Been under center.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
And then my sleeper is a pair of guys in
that London game that's right now. Subdiy Lawren third straight week,
nine thirty am ONNDON game. This one's a thriller. The
Patriots and the Jaguars.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
You guys I think will surprise.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I like what I saw from Drake May last week,
as rushing more alone makes him the top twenty quarterback.
I think he's probably about seventeen on my board right now.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
If he's ready to go there.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And de Ernest Johnson, I was anticipating Travis the UTM.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Maybe that's not the case.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I might cool off on Johnson, but as of now,
I like him.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
As a flex player. UTM said, and somebody you should
definitely stay. I should be believed.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Follow Dan on X at Dan Klaskins. Make sure you
go to get sportsinfo dot com. There's an event coming
up that I know is very important to you. The
DAV five K is coming up on November the ninth.
For folks who are perhaps uninitiated, tell us about the
DAV five K.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah, I appreciate that though.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Yeah, Dav disabled American Veterans. I've been working there for
about a decade now. We helped a million veterans a
year and my changing ways and for the thirteenth year,
and we're going to have the d A five k
you go to Dav five k dot org and part
of Veterans the weekend November ninth at a walk and
the roll with a run as a ride at all
honors American veterans and man, it's such a great opportunity

(07:11):
just to go out there and bills having virtual bit
you can't make it that day again, dav five k
dot org, and I definitely appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Let me talk about it here anytime. Your dog sounds
excited about it, so I couldn't help.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
But he really is tired up about that, and you
know he is keeping his story. Coom though. This is
like it happened last week when I was on with
Lance and looks like Cooper enjoys beyond the radio as.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Much as me.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, I got no issue with that at all. Man,
all right, have a great week. We'll talk next week. Man,
Thank you, good luck

Speaker 4 (07:42):
To take care
