Hey, goud, It's just gonna be an algamation of story
that you already know but don't know the underlining story
behind them pretty much. I'm talking, I'm Jake Paul fight anything.
It's gonna be. Yeah, it's gonna be so awesome. We
have did this show and we have had a good time.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
So you started this last year, right, you started a
series of one man shows. Give us an idea of
how the first run of them went.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Sensation though, I had an awesome time. I'm so happy
to come to Cincinnati and do them and see myself,
my friends in Cincinnati. My wife has family in Cincinnati,
and I'm just looking forward to coming and having a
good time.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
What is like the story that people want to hear
most from you?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I don't know a lot of this. One's gonna be
a lot about probably my last fight and with my
fight coming up.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
All right, let's talk about last fight. It was about
a year ago. You're gonna get back in the ring now?
Is this in twenty twenty six? Is this gonna happen
with Floyd Mayweather?
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (02:09):
All right?
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (02:11):
What did you what did you learn about yourself at
this stage in your in your boxing career from the
last fight that you could apply to the next one.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I'm really a lot much healthier in this fight than
I was the last one. Go out, Willie. I'm just
looking forward to it. I'm in good shape. I never
I never stopped training. I'm in great shape. I'm ready
to fight. I'm just looking forward to it. This is
making history. No one's never done this before. So many
countries that bidding for us right now never been done before.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
What is what is your relationship with Floyd Mayweather?
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Like?
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I respect him?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
What is your relationship with Jake Paul?
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Like?
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Now?
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I have nothing. I have no foult feelings against anybody.
I'm pretty happy guy.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Did you did you have any idea that that fight
was gonna be like?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
That?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Was? That was an immensely popular sporting event. I'll never
forget that Friday night, everybody's jammed into a bar to
watch you fight Jake Paul.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Did you have any idea that you would have.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
The reception that you got, not just from the crowd
that night, but from people who are excited to see
you step in the ring again.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Well, I did expect it, but not that big. To
be honest, no one expected to be that big. Come on,
there's nobody expected that. I didn't expect i'd be. I'd
be lying if I said I did. You know my
ego is not that. I'll be lying if.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
And now this one, you've got to think, you know
it's it's gonna be massive. Nothing against Jake Paul, but
I think of like two of the biggest names in
boxing over the last forty years, Floyd Mayweather versus yourself,
a complete and in total contrast of styles.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I think it will be awesome.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
When I'm growing up right in the in the late eighties,
early night of these Mike Tyson fights were an event, right,
Like I beg my dad, we've got to get the
pay per view. I got to watch Mike fight. It
feels like boxing isn't where it was. What needs to
happen for that sport to get back to that point?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Hey, the best need to fight the best. That's all
it needed to be said. Number one need to fight
Number two, the best to fight the best. Just like listen,
you be so crowfor did right? They fought the best
to do best foot.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Do you follow the sport closely? Now?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I'm trying to, but it gets it gets tricky on me.
No one fighting bit of meat. It has a lot
to do with promotion. The best, you fight the best
else they had no they have no reason being in
that attendees. Yeah, always was an eighties the best foot
the best.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
No question about it, no question about it. So when
you fight Floyd Mayweather, will that be it? Or do
you see yourself fighting after that one?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
I really don't see myself doing it again. But you know,
anything's possible. You know, people just I don't miss so
money away, like if they want to go broke. So
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
All right, Uh so Sunday evening. How long is the
show on Sunday?
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Probably an hour? Okay, fifty five fifty five minutes.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
All right, And uh, you're gonna talk a lot about
the Jake Paul fight. You're gonna talk a lot about
the uh, the fight against Floyd Mayweather with what is
the I'm not.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Gonna I'm not gonna talk a lot about anything. I'm
I mean, I'm gonna just talk about everything, but a
lot about anything. Yeah, it's not enough time to talk
about a lot about everything.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
I hear you, what is what is the one what
is the one fight from back in the day that
people want to ask you about the most.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
I don't know. I've never I've never no one been
talking to me about fights lately. It's all but it's
all been about the show and entertainment and all that stuff.
And there's no basically that's about fighting in my show
pretty much.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
