I'm ready to go. This can be I think the
greatest college football season ever. I mean think about it.
You can be sitting fifteenth, twentieth, twenty fifth, and you've
got a couple games up to play. You run the table,
you got a chance to get in the playoffs. So
I told my wife, get that motor home ready. I'm
a Miami fan. So we're sitting about fifteenth or twentieth
and we run the table. We're going to get in

that motor home and travel as far as we can go.

I think this is going to be a fascinating season.
Everybody's got access to the national championship. And as much
as there's a lot of conference realignment that I don't like,
I think it is going to create some really fun matchups.
Let's talk about week one. Let me begin with my
beloved Bearcats with nearly four, there were a dozen new
players hosting an FCS school. They only won one home

game last year. It was against an fcschool. I think
they're gonna win the game. Can they cover nearly five touchdowns?

Last three years they beat up on FCS opponents Eastern
Michigan sixty six thirteen, Kansas statehu's Division One team now
sixty three ten, and not a bad Murray State team
forty two to seven. I love the switch to the
three to three five defense towsand five and six last year,
but minus one hundred and seven yards per game and

conference play and Towson loses for the top five tacklers
on defense which allowed thirty or more points seven to
twelve games. They're gonna win. They're gonna cover the right
team's favorite Cincinnati forty five to ten.

All right, So now the first FBS school they play
is Pittsburgh, another team with a lot of transfers, and
one of the three teams they beat last season. Last
year of the game was in Pittsburgh, Now it's in Cincinnati.
Pitt's gonna play an SCS opponent more than a three
touchdown favorite against Ken State.

Do you like the Panthers new offense here. Play fast
system is what they call it under cade Bell. I'm
aging myself here. I played against Kerwin Bell in the
state semifinal game and lost. So Kerwin Bell is his dad.
They averaged thirty seven and a half points per game
in five hundred and four yards per game last year

running backs, I mean they got a flew of them.
Rodney Hampton him and averaged over four point five yards
per Carrie. Last year Western Carolina transfer Desmond reed nine starts.
He had combined seventeen and twenty three yards the last
two years. I'm just not sure that Nate Yarnel is

the quarterback? Is this final answer here? For this team defense?
Only one difference maker on defense. I see Donovan McMillan Johnson,
nice kick returner, but the special teams are questionable. Other
than that, Kent State lost by twenty five to Washington,
thirty to Oklahoma two years ago when they were five

and seven. I see a similar team pitt wins thirty
six to sixteen. But I'm gonna hold my nose and
take Kent State all right.

college football playoffs, so they expand the field for him.
We'll see if you can crack the top twelve. They
are more than a touchdown favorite against West Virginia, a
surprising team from last year that won a lot of
close games. I'm skeptical about them as the Big twelve

season unfolds. Do you like the Nitney Lyons laying eight?

I feel the same way about them. Also. I think
that they have a certain ceiling and I just don't
think that they can get above that glass ceiling. And
Penn State, they're going to beat the bad and mediocre
teams won every game last year by more than seventeen
points except for one game. They won the game against
Western Virginia by twenty. I mean Drew Lari He's not

going to beat Oregon, He's not going to beat Ohio
State in my opinion. But he threw for three twenty
five and three touchdowns on West Virginia. And people think
of West Virginia having this great home field advantage. Not
so fast. Here six and seven is a home dog
here under Neil Brown, the right team is favored Penn
State thirty one twenty at.
