Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Rocky. On Sunday against Cleveland, the Bengals did
win seventeen to sixteen over the Cleveland Browns. I'll take
an ugly win any day of the week. The Bengals
offense was not very good, especially after the first couple
of drives. Cincinnati in the second half had seven yards
passing offense. Chase Brown got going early than the Browns
bottled him up. What was the biggest issue for the

Bengals on offense against Cleveland?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Look, I think it's week one, and again, similar to
our conversation yesterday, I'm not worried about the offense because
I in no way, shape or form this unit is
going to underachieve. I think they're going to put points together. Look,
I take into consideration it's week one, and yes, they
played more in the preseason, but.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Not a lot. You know.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
You know, Lucas Patrick goes out and Dalton Reisner has
to come into gard He's been here about five minutes,
you know. So I'm taking all those things to playing
a road game at Cleveland. I was it obviously has
to get better, but for being week one, and in
my heart of hearts, knowing that if this is an
offense that I truly believe is going to be special.
I'm not worried about it yet, what about you?

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I guess what I wonder is this right, I'll allow
Borrow had a bad day. He's allowed, by the way,
on a bad day, they had no turnovers, which is
not insignificant. I guess what I wonder is did the
Browns do something that other teams can emulate? Did they
provide a bit of a blueprint for slowing the Cincinnati
offense down?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yes, but most other teams are not going to have
Miles Garrett on the defensive line. I think, you know,
I think Joe Burrow's played against him enough to know
he's got to respect him. And look, he created half
during this game as well, There's no question about it.
So with all that said, I don't know if we're
going to face as many defenses with guys even in
remotely like him. So I think it'll get better. I

(01:46):
think the offensive line, it's always a little bit slower
for the offensive line to get together without all the
reps in the preseason, So hopefully that unit can just
continues to gel and then from there, I think the
outside guys that the weapons are going to be special.
