Speaker 1 (00:00):
So some bars in Japan have come up with these
color coded wrist bands so you can subtly send a
message as to where you're at when you're at the bar.
So if you have a green wrist band, that means, hey,
let's socialize, okay. If you have a yellow, kind of
proceed with caution. It means you want to talk, but
you want maybe just locals, like you're not looking for,

(00:23):
you know, to meet a lot of people, maybe local
recommendations or information. And if you're wearing a red wristband,
you just want to have a drink by yourself. Thank
you give me the red risk, right? Are we all
going red here?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, that's a great, great, great idea concept. I think
it is because sometimes you do need a little time
to yourself and people want to talk, and then you
come off as rude because you're doing all the body
signals not to talk and looking at your phone. And
this is a different way.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I think the yellow one though, would really be confusing
to people because you want to approach the person and
talk to them.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
But then again, what if other people have done it
and now that person's getting tired of it? So I
would never approach somebody with a yell. I think I
would keep away from a yellow.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I wonder if you can change it like halfway through,
like I might be in like the mood to talk
to some people have a yellow yellow wristband. Yeah, and
then maybe an hour into it, I'm like, you know what,
I'm good and I want to read one. You know,
I don't know you can. Yeah, You're sitting at the
bar with a drink and all these wristbands.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
In front of you.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
You're putting them on every ten minutes, different ones.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Wwitch over, I'm gonna switch now. I'm trying to think
of how like the yellow would work, and I'm thinking maybe,
say here in Manhattan, I don't know, you're sitting in
a bar and you want to talk to other people
from the area, but like you're not into talking to
tourists and giving information. You need a yell the time, right, Yeah,

(01:47):
Like like a green would mean anybody, Hey, you want
to know how to get downtown because I seem to
be that person walking down the street that everybody stops
for directions even though they have a phone.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
They happy to do it.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yes, but yes, but maybe the yellow is like if
you're local, let's have a chat. I don't know, I
want to go there where the hospitalspan No, just discharged today. Yeah,
let's keep away from that guy.
