Speaker 1 (00:00):
One to six point seven Light FM seven or nine
Cubby Christine producer Kristen.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
We are one week from today, Halloween. One week from today,
you're ready to do some trick or treating.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
You have your costumes, party cities, doing some pop up stores.
By the way, look at that, Yeah, just for Halloween.
Very cool because we haven't seen them for a while.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Hey, how many people would actually buy a haunted house?
Because you have a little story and I'm just curious.
I have a question, a few questions, Like I've been
fortunate enough to look at a number of homes in
my life and never once has it's haunted come up
in conversation.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Or have you felt a presence?

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah, there's never been a sign that said maybe haunted.
How do people know if a house is haunted?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I don't know how you would know.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
You need to disclose. My understanding is you need to
disclose if someone died in the house, if you're asked, like,
you don't have to put that up there in the ad.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Right, you know, But if I was to say I
love your home as anything crazy ever happened.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Here, specifically asked to somebody I die.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Yeah, right, Yeah, I think you have to ask that specifically, Yeah, has.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Anybody ever died here? And you should get the answer because.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Right at that point they have to then they have
to disclose. Disclose, which doesn't necessarily mean it's haunted or
that you even believe it could be haunted. But Rocket
Mortgage did a survey across the country. Thirty nine percent
of us said we would buy a haunted house, no
questions asked. But a lot of those people said they

(01:30):
want a discount before they signed the contracts.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
You could use it to your advantage, right, Can we
come down on the price a little bit? And it's haunted,
like if.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
It comes to the ghost, can you know, maybe right
knock some money off here and there. Some people are
saying no, it's a deal breaker. Yeah, you know that
it's just too creepy death on the property. Again, they
said that they would if they were to buy it,
they would also want a discount on the price.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Well, question, I know your thoughts on this because you're
you know, to find it pretty much everything involving Halloween.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Yeah, well no, I just like I've said this before,
I just don't mess with that kind of stuff. So yeah,
if I found out that, you know, I don't know,
not necessarily a house was haunted. I feel like that's
like I don't know, because no one you don't really
know if a house is haunted.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Or not exactly. But do you know until you move in,
right exactly?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
But if weird things have happened, or if people, you know,
previous owners have said, oh I don't know, I've seen
something or heard things.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I'm out past go to the next Yeah, I would not.
I would not go in and cubby. They're saying, like
signs that the place is haunted, just that you feel
a strong presence. There's mysterious noises, you hear footsteps, apparitions,
objects are moving, the.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Chair goes across the kitchen like poultry geist.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
These are these are kind of the things that would
be considered haunted. And a bunch of folks who said
they would buy the place said, well, I would just
make friends with the ghost.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, I have the ghost do some work.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
They're that nice.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
They couldn't make it nice.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
That have the ghost on your team, take care of
some handiwork.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
