are you doing in German?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
I'm doing in German. I'm doing fine in English too.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It is so good to have you back.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I think I'm so happy to be here in such
a good mood because we had an incredible time.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I know it's hard to sum up your entire German
vacation courtesy of Lotunza in just one like two minutes here,
but I mean, in a nutshell, from from the flight
to everything you experienced. Was it like five stars? Yes,
five out of five.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Five plus turn it up to eleven, right, I mean
it was amazing. I know we can over use that
word sometime, but it truly was. It was so incredible.
It feels like trip of a lifetime. And this is
you know, I've talked about this like for so many
different reasons.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Well yeah, one of the big reasons is you got
to reconnect with famly my family.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yes, And it was kind of like, Kubby, I felt like, wait,
how did we let this much time go by? Like
we're always on touch, We're always in touch, you know,
like we used to send letters and cards and now
it's email and messaging. But this was like, so you
saw your aunt, right, yeah, three generations.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Actually you hadn't seen in easily twenty ye.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Over twenty years, so like there's been like babies have
been born, and I met what would be I guess
my second cousins, right, if my cousins had cousins, which
they did, they would be second cousins who are now
fourteen and seventeen, Benjamin and Natalie, who were like beautiful
and wonderful and talented and just great kids. But just

(01:40):
I don't it just meant so much to me on
so many levels, and I, you know, I seeing the
Christmas markets was like always a dream and I honestly
never thought it would happen.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
You saw the Munich one and the Colonne one, yes, and.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
There's a bunch of different ones, and we got all
of them, like definitely in Cologne because of that, like
we could walk around a lot. But we stayed at
the Steinenberger Hotel, which was wonderful. It was like wonderful hotel,
beautifully located because we could walk to all the Christmas markets, right,
that was incredible, beautiful dream come true Angel Christmas Market

(02:17):
was our first stop stunning. We learned all about glue wine, right,
that's the uh it's it's a mold wine. I guess
you would say it's a it's a heated wine with
some spices. We even had it one time. It was
on fire. You wait for the fire to go down,
of course, or no, no, it's hot. It's hot, so
it's perfect. And they give it to you in these

(02:39):
adorable little cups, which you can keep and bring home
like I did and went overboard, or you can give
it back for your deposit. But they're so cute that
you want to keep these little mugs.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I saw you drinking beer at a place I went
to and I don't remember the name of it.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Was Brouhouse, thank you.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
That's when we got some Munich. That's when we reconnected
with our family.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Of course they're eleven years ago. But I saw you
guys having a beer, and Eric looked like he was
so happy.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
He was it was like it's legendary. You know. You've
got a band's playing and everybody's just like in a
great mood and kind of singing along and having beer
and pretzels, and they serve food and that's historic, Like
I know my uncle was there in the nineteen fifties
or something. Really, it's just yeah, this is like again
beautifully reconnecting with my family and relatives and roots and

(03:26):
also experiencing new things like these beautiful Christmas markets and
these gorgeous cities and Luftanza, Like I can't thank them enough.
I cannot thank them enough. Oh you would love. It
was heaven up there at Luftanza. It's the Allegris.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah, they're playing. There are all other planes with their
planes are beautiful.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
And that was your first time in business right ever,
and you were actually kind of bummed out. The flight
was eight hours. You wish it was twenty ye.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
We just wanted to stay. We just wanted to stay
Luftanza with like the kindest people, the best service, the
most doommodating.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
You're telling me. The food was like a Michelin Star
restaurant was like.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
We were at restaurants, you know. Eric was like, the
wine is fantastic, and Eric would go, it's feeding time,
like they're feeding us again. Like there was constant incredible food,
just amazing service. Plus they make it so easy couby
for you to get over to Germany and then connect
between cities like it was flawless. We flew into Munich,

(04:25):
we went to Cologne first. We had maybe a one
hour layover where we weren't feeling rushed or anything. Our
luggage made it through. It was seamless. I mean they
go to other cities in Europe as well. Yeah, I
just can't say enough good things.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Well, we'll be talking more about it, and of course
you can follow Christine Nagy at the Christine Nagy on Instagram.
I know that's been your main platform for posting.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, I've been. I did a lot of stories there
and I want to do some put together some contact, Yeah,
some posts where I just I really just want to
share everything. We did stay in Munich. We stayed at
the moment a teen ninety hotel. It's a boutique hotel, gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Built an eighteen ninety.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I guess possibly it's a boutique hotel. Yeah, you know what.
I didn't look into it, but that makes sense. But again,
centrally located so we could take the trains everywhere. I'll
keep sharing stuff. It's incredible, the food unbelievable in Germany,
just so good.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
We're happy to have you back.

Speaker 3 (05:21):

Speaker 1 (05:22):

You brought some cookies and remember two pretty cool things.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
