Speaker 1 (00:00):
One o six pointy seven light FM your home for
three hours of commercial free music, kicking off at eight
twenty Cubby Christine producer Kristin Christine.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
You don't mind if I drag your personal life on
the air, do you?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
No? I share away? I feel this is very relatable.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Okay, yeah, are you and your fiance Eric? Okay? At
the moment, we're good? Okay, thank you, Cobby. Was it
rocky for a moment? It was yesterday. It was all
about Wayfair.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Basically, I have said many times Wayfair, Ikia, these can
be relationship maker breakers.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Very true.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
The last time we ordered from Wayfair and we put
a shoe cabinet together. It holds shoes, I thought that
was going to be the end of us. Yeah, Like,
it was pretty intense. So it's been a couple of
years and I recently ordered from Wayfair over the fourth
of July. They had great sales, right, So I'm sitting
with Eric and I'm showing him what I want to

(00:52):
get and it's it's a bookcase, but not just a bookcase.
On the bottom, there's three drawers and cabinet, so it's
a little complicated, you know, great sale, I said to him,
do you want me to hire the Wayfair professional because
they'll put it together for us and we don't have
to worry about it. And he was like, well, how
much is that?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
It was eighty five dollars extra.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
He's like, no, no, no, just get me a pizza
and I'll do it, I said Eric. It says it
takes an hour and a half. And I'm no good
at this cubby, I'm you know, so it's all on him. Yeah,
and he's like, just no, a pizza and we're good.
So now I'm starting to get a little nervous. I'm like,
a pizza and we're good.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
The box showed up yesterday. I couldn't even budget it
was so heavy.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Oh I hate box furniture. Yeah, especially the big pieces,
the big pieces, like you can't believe you PS or
FedEx even.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Got it to your door exactly what just that is
a miracle. He drags it into the garage and he goes, oh, yeah, okay,
I'm gonna hate this. I'm already angry at this piece
of furniture. I'm like, wait, you didn't even open the
box yet. He goes, yeah, no, no, I hate it.
I hate it. So I said Eric, you had, like,
we had the opportunity, I could have hired the Wayfair guy.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
And he goes, We'll go back and get the Wayfair guy.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
I'm like, I don't think we can get the Wayfair
guy ANYMOREA guy. I did order a pizza last night covery,
but it started coming down to I said, oh, I'm
I am so sharing this with Cubby and Kristen. They
knew this piece was coming and and he's like, I
just I don't I don't know if I can do it.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
So he was he was backing out.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
He was he was backing out of the deal. I
did get the pizza, but we didn't even discuss the
furniture again because I thought this is getting treacherous.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
You ate pizza looking at the box furniture.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
That he said.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
He was already angry, went to bed. There were thunderstorms.
We're talking more about the weather and stuff like that.
Got up this morning. This morning for me is three
fifteen in the morning, and he's like, good morning. I
said hi, and he's looking all proud, and I was
like what, and he goes, I put your cabinet together.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
I said, wait, wait what?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
While I was sleeping, he put the piece of furniture together.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Your fiance, for those who don't know, is a night owl. Yeah,
usually going to bed as you're waking.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Up, right, because he usually has a gig, but he
didn't have one last night. Yeah, he was not drumming
last night.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
So did you go to bed last night kind of
bummed out? Like man?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Think? All right, I gotta look for a handyman, or
go to task rabbit or you know something.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
And he pulled it off and.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
There it was.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Eric.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
You know, sometimes we pooh poo on you because you
do a lot of the same things I do, and
you made me feel better. But you know what you
came through, buddy, You did it, and I'm proud of you.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
And now the pressure is on me.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yes, go build a piece of furniture company.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
You. Coco does all that in our house. Coco's the first.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
She's got the knack for it. I can't can.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
She does have a knack for it. She sees the
directions and she sees she can view everything the way
it's gonna go. I just don't see what the design
is doing.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
You know, well, you said it right there. She reads
the directions for whatever reason. It's true. I mean, my
husband's the same way. Ryan will take pieces out of
the box and start building it. I'm like, you don't
know where that goes be, but then I'll figure it
out and somehow there's extra pieces at the end.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
At the end, there's always this oh where did the
screw go?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I hate when there's I hate when there's like four
screws that you don't know where they go. But the
furniture's done yep, like it's put together, yes, but there's
four still available.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I'm like, what did I do?

Speaker 3 (04:22):
What's gonna break at some point?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
All right, hit us up four four three sixty three.
If you can relate to this in a relationship, you know,
furniture and it can break or make a relationship. All right,
we have a crazy first date. Speaking of relationships, coming
up next.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Floor, Cubby and Christine in the morning.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Just ahead on one O six point seven.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Light at them.
