Speaker 1 (00:00):
New York's Christmas station.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
It is seven twelve one or six Boy seven light
a FM with Kubby and Christine in the morning, producer
Kristin in the background producing our show Christine's Back from Germany.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
And you had an amazing experience, so incredible. Luftanza was
amazing business class feed.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Up, first time ever for Eric and me. Thank you
so much, Luftanza. Yes, Luftanza Allegris beautiful planes. They have
thought of absolutely everything, Cobby. So the whole flight is
comfortable and happy. But it's the first time Eric and
I have ever been in business class and experienced this.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
You'll never go back.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Oh, I don't think we'll ever go back. So not
only do you get like your own little cabin where
you can lay down, you can heat the seats.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Oh I know that.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Yeah, the entertainment's incredible, the food, everything is amazing. And
everybody who works with Luftanza, the flight attendants, they're so
wonderful and polite, and they want to know, because this
is an overnight flight, do you want to have breakfast?
If you don't want to have breakfast, they won't wake
you up. So Eric and I both said, yeah, we'll
have breakfast. Put our seats back went to sleep. There's
(01:03):
even a screen I can close, so I don't even
see Eric. So I'm in my own little zone, right bubble.
I'm in my bubble and he's in his. And then
when the morning comes around and we're both having breakfast,
because my flight attendant was like, excuse me, good morning,
would you like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, she was great.
Eric said to me. He said, did so like did
(01:25):
a guy come and shake your leg to wake you
up for breakfast? And I was like what? And he said, yeah,
like this guy came over, opened up his cabin door
and he said, shook his leg really hard and went,
excuse me, they are listening to you.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
What was he all? Wait? Was Eric?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Eric apparently was snoring so really really loud.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
You know, I've thought about doing that sometimes you're sitting
next to somebody really going to town.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, and really saw on logs.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I may have to do something, you, I mean, I
have to, like if they're behind me, maybe I'll push
my chair back or like.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Make a change position or something. Yeah, but I didn't
hear him. I didn't hear him. So and I think
maybe if the sound floats, it floats forward because the
guy like like mysteriously then disappeared into the front of
the plane and Eric said he wasn't wearing a unit
for him and he was like, that's the guy they
send around to wake you up for breakfast. And I'm like, no, Eric,
(02:24):
there's no guy that Luftanza sends around to.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Secause.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
It was like a coincidence that just a few minutes
later the lights came up and it was breakfast time.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
So it was like a foggy memory for Eric. He
wasn't sure what happened.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
He didn't know what happened. He said, he woke up
and there's like, you know, a man in his face saying,
V are listening.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Well, that's the comfort of business class, my friends. You
get to sleep really good and you get in a
deep sleep and you nore.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
So don't even know it, but I'm like, I am
shocked that the sound could even carry I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
That is so funny. That's comfort right there though.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
That that is thank you Liftanza for dealing with us.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I know, I know. It's a great trip.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
More on this coming up, and uh oh we got
a battle on the way, a little trivia battle. Yeah,
we'll play that next on light FM.
