Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is a little love in my life. It's Covey
and Gristine.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Crazy first dates, Melissa, When did your crazy first state
take place?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
This was about three years ago.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
And were you set up or was this a dating app?
How'd you meet?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
We met through mutual friends. We had some friends in common.
They thought that we'd be a good match.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
So yeah, they said, up, okay, where'd you guys go?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
We went to a bowling alley that had drinks and food,
so the you know, a nice time, and he decided
to order a fish bowl for himself.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
A fishbowl, like one of those big drinks.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah, one of those big giant drinks that comes mixed
with a whole bunch of alcohol in tide. Okay, and
I just had a lot of wine. Yeah. So after
the date, he was a little sixty but he was
acting normal. We were having a really good time. He
was really sweet, and because we had mutual friends in common,

(00:54):
you know, I felt okay in writing him over to
my house afterwards to kind of keep talking. He had
a case of wine in his trunk. He was like
a wine connoisword kind of guy. And he's like, hey,
let me bring up a bottle of wine. Well, two
bottles of wine, and we're hanging out there in my
little room drinking wine. He kind of chugged one whole
bottle by himself while I'm kind of just sipping on

(01:17):
a glass. Then I noticed he's getting a little drunk,
and I'm like, okay, I think it's time to end
the night. So I kind of make my way to
my room to change my clothes and Bet and I'm
gonna say, I'm okay, I think it's time. You know,
I'm gonna go to bed. I'm tired. And I hear
this loud promotion in my kitchen, things banging and all
this noise, and I go into my kitchen and he

(01:39):
had thrown up all over the kitchen, on the floor,
on the walls, and it was bright red because we
were drinking red wine and it was all over the place.
And he offered the clean up, and I was like, no,
just get out, just sleep outsider myself. Oh yeah, And
about a week later, I was still finding red stains

(02:01):
all over.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Gross.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
I'm so sorry. It has met unit there beyond gross.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
But you know what, though, I'm kind of mad because
if it was a girlfriend of yours, you'd be holding
her hair and helping her through all this.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Oh. Absolutely, But on a first day, you know you
should use some discretion and that's so much with you,
you know.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
So did he ever reach out to you after that
or you think he was too embarrassed? Ah?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Yeah, he sure did. He apologized and said he wanted
to hang out again, and I just told him no, Fry,
I'm not interested. You're really nice but good answer.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
At the end of the day, it paid off for you.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Because we want to give you something for sharing that
crazy first aid story.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
