Crazy First Date: "His Dog Got Hit By A Car!"

Audrey called in with her "Crazy First Date" story and how her date moved away after his dog was hit by a car.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is a little love in mine. It's Kebby and
Christine crazy first dates.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Kebby were talking with Audrey. Good morning, Audrey, So when
did your crazy first date take place? How did you
guys meet?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
So we met at like a comedy event, and we
both just kind of like had eyes and we ended
up like just chatting. It was really natural, and then
we both determined that we both have really cute dogs.
So he had everything going for him, like he was
super cute, and he had a home like he was

(00:34):
a homeowner and you know, everything checked, all the boxes
and the cute dog. It was just like everything. So
so our first date, like I don't consider as meeting
at the comedy sting a first date because that was
where I met. But we had like a photo shoot
with us and our dogs. Oh it was like a
family picture. But of course I had a picture with

(00:57):
my dog alone and he had a picture with his
dog alone. But we did like a little family portrait
of us four together and it was just the most
adorable thing. So that was like our first day, like
scrapbook piece, I guess, nice adorable picture. And then like
not long after that, his dog ended up like getting

hit by a car and he ended up taking to work.
He hadn't move away, and so like our adorable little
dog life, it was short lived. But he ended up
moving to like I don't know, Alaska or something for
some research job, and I never heard from him again.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Oh my goodness. Yeah, this is like, oh, so really
sad ending. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
It was a sad ending, but like that's how my
true love was was lost.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Well, I mean, and there's no sense I mean, do
you ever get the urge to reach out to this person.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Like I'm afraid to like look online to see who
he's like married to now, like that would bring my heart.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Oh, I'm so sorry. Have you have you met anybody
else that you like?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
No, I mean I'm open, But like I think that
that that was such like my sense of Hubert kind
of date. It was so out of the box. And
I mean my friends thought it was a little weird,
but I'm like, who doesn't want to have a family
picture with your dog? It was just so silly.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Well, we do appreciate you sharing the story, even though
it was a tough story to tell. And again we
appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Oh thinks, I mean it's all right. I mean, maybe
maybe I'll get the curt now. Jes see if he
is married or not. Maybe maybe you got me motivated.
