Crazy First Date: "There Was A Tornado Warning!"

Ron called in with his "Crazy First Date" story and how there was almost a natural disaster during his first date.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Hey, Christine, he'll we have on the phone. Well, Kubby
were talking to Ron this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Good morning Ron.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
When did your crazy first date take place? How did
you guys meet?

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Uh, you know, it was just like a general online
meet about ten years ago maybe. Okay, what it was
is that we went to it was like a Benny
Haha kind of thing and there was a tornado, not
just like a lookout like, it was there, and everybody
had to run down into the basement and we were

(00:41):
there for like forty five minutes an hour maybe, and
then when it got done, somehow somebody started a fire
in the kitchen and then we all had to evacuate.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Wait a minute, are you talking about then actual tornado
from the sky or we went in a botchy place
where you did like a tornado onion fire.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Oh, that's actually funny. A little bit of both there,
but yeah, it was. It was really intense, and then
by the time we all got done, we were actually
kind of on each other's nerves. I didn't really have
a date, and then it didn't. It didn't work out
at all.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Too stressful a situation, I guess. Yeah, where was this,
like in the middle of Nebraska or something. Where was it?

Speaker 1 (01:16):
D Yeah, it was a while ago. I've moved around
a little bit, but yeah, I know it wasn't in Nebraska,
but it was in I think it was in Ohio.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
All right. So the crazy first date was basically you
went to a restaurant and tornado came shelter kitchen, the
kitchen fire.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
H so, and I think God didn't want us to
have a date. I guess it just wasn't meant to
be right, right.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Natural disasters they really kills the mood, don't it.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Well, thank you for sharing your crazy first date. Man,
I'm glad things are are much better than they were
ten years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Well yeah, let's hope.
