Speaker 1 (00:00):
I found a new app and I love it. I'm
going to tell you about it. This is not a commercial.
No one's paying for this. I just discovered it through
my wife and I want to tell you about it.
You can share with us, Okay, it's Kubby Christine light
if Amazon, thank you for having us on. I learned
about this on Earth Day because it's all about saving
the planet. Yes, things that we can do. There are
many things we can do, but one of the things

(00:20):
is not be wasteful. And there's an app called Too
Good to Go. My wife told me about this when
we're eating dinner on Earth Day. It connects users with
businesses like restaurants and grocery stores to purchase discounted surprise
bags of unsold food. Like how many times, for example,
you go to a bagel shop at like well, like

(00:41):
right now, yeah, and there's so many bagels yes, and
you think to yourself, what do they do with all
these bagels like at three pm, at four pm that
they waste? Yeah? Yeah, So what you do is you
download this app again, it's called Too Good to Go,
and the app will display a map of all the
businesses in your area that offers you reserve a surprise

(01:02):
bag and you go to the store at a like
a designated time and then you show the reservation and
you get your bag. So you're buying, like I'm using
bagels for an example, because it's a morning but you're
you buy a bag for five dollars. Yeah, but there's
like thirty bagels in there because they just want to
get rid of them. They don't want to throw them out, right,
But you're getting a deal, so you can't really you

(01:24):
don't know what you're getting, what you're going to get,
But this is great. A lot of pizza places are
doing it and they sell out because we like all
kinds of I don't care what I'll take whatever you're offering. Yeah,
it's not expired food. It's just food that they were
going to throw out and why waste it? That is great.
So I thought this was amazing. My wife told me
about it and I didn't. I didn't. I never heard

(01:44):
of it, and I thought this was so cool. And
it's called too Good to Go, Too good to Go,
too g oo d to go. I like it. I
know what they thought of everything, haven't they? That is fantastic.
So you should like when you get home to it
around your neighborhood, just see who's on it, and then
maybe get a nice cheap dinner. We have some nice restaurants,

(02:06):
so you go great. Yeah, all right, we have three
hours commercial free to kick off that workday. We will
do that next Who knows, maybe a kid will pop
in here. It is bring your kid to workday, so
there's are already some kids passing by. It should be fun.
