Dogs Freaking Out Over New Wendy's Commercial

It starts with a door bell which is driving dogs crazy!

Kristen I'm that alone. I got my ladies with me.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
How you doing, ladies? Okay, it sounds creepy.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
And it does.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
How you doing, ladies? How you doing? All right? So
there is a Wendy's commercial and I'm curious if your pet,
probably your dog, is reacting to this because now we're
seeing it in the news.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah. So Wendy's has a new commercial running for their
Frosty flavors. They have new Frosty flavors, but the ad
starts off with a ring doorbell chime that apparently dogs
are reacting to because they hear it and think somebody's
at the door. So people are going online and they're
asking Wendy's either pull the spot or stop doing the
ring doorbell chime. You're driving my dog crazy.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
So here's the first five seconds of that TV commercial
that's currently airing. Finally, they have a rhyme a whole
new lineup of Delicious cross So my sister has a
dog that I know would react to that commercial because
that's the ring doorbell that they have at home. So
every time that doorbell goes off, she barks.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, because they know, like a delivery or something is there.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, so I want to talk to my sister and
see if that's happening. But it has to be happening
to a lot of dogs. I get that one more time. Finally,
they have a rise, a whole new lineup of delicious price.
I mean, did they ask ring you think Wendy's to
use it or they just use it? I don't know.
Whatever the case may be.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
They can just use it.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I would, I don't know. But still I don't know
that's a that's a particular sound. They might have had
to get permission for that. Yeah. Isn't it funny though
that that's what a doorbell is? Now? Yes, A normal
like no dog? I know that's what we think of, right.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
So dogs know that. But yeah, Wendy's hasn't responded, Like
they didn't say, okay, we'll pull the ad. They haven't
said anything.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Right, Well, they're digging the press, I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh yes, And like you mentioned, if they had to
get permission, if they spend the money on this commercial,
right right, you're gonna let it run.

Speaker 1 (01:48):

and your dog is indeed reacting to the Wendy's commercial
