Speaker 1 (00:00):
One to six, Cubby and Christine in the morning produce
a Christen hanging out as we began a hump day show,
it's time now to play a fun game called let's
sniff Christine's jacket and see what you have for dinner
last night?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
I was just thinking it. Yeah, you lean over retain
the smell. So it was in the dining room the
whole time.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Okay, do you smell it?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I don't know if it's in my head or I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Does it smell like you went to in a batchy restaurant?
You know how like sometimes you'll go.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
To a restaurant, Yeah, certain restaurant.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Your clothing will be filled with that smell.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Oh, yes, then you can't. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So what was for dinner last night? Christine?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
It was just chicken and veg, chicken and the US.
But we used a lot of garlic last night.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
All right, So you think you might have garlic on
your little light jacket.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
There it's just in me, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
It's still somewhere around the mountains, seeping through.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
What was for dinner at the old Christen Household?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
We had chicken and veg too. Some chicken cutlet and broccoli.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Wow, that's exactly what we had.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Asked me what I had for dinner?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
What did you have for dinner?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I had seven tacos? Seven, seven tacos.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
How did you down seven tacos?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
They are the real small ones, you know, like the
street tacos. Oh, there's a place in Milltown, New Jersey,
near where we live. We live in East Brunswick, of
East Brunswick, but we're not right on the border of Milltown,
and it's called tex Mechs Deli. Anyway, they're kind of
new and they do a Taco Tuesday deal where it's
a dollar a taco, so for fourteen bucks seven and seven.

(01:28):
Coco had seven tacos and I had seven. I know
it sounds like, you know, we're just we must be
like five hundred pounds.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
But no, the little tacos, right, they're so good.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
What kind did you have?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
It was a mixture, I said, mix it up, guys,
little chicken, a little beef. You know. The only bad
thing about, you know, the tacos is the kids don't
eat tacos yet. So Coco really, she pulls her hair
out because it'd be so nice if the whole family
ate the same thing. Yeah, but she has to make
something for Naomi and then Myles has to have his
pizza and so yeah. But if I can help out

(02:02):
and pick up some tacos.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, things are good. Is this going on in your house?
To Kristen or everybody's on the same plan?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
It depends what I'm making, But I try to instill
the whole. Hey, this is not a restaurant. You eat
what I make, but my cat, we're just laugh in
my face rights.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
To us that why did it work on us? It
doesn't work on anybody as scary as my mom apparently.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
So yeah, and one more thing about yesterday, you know,
shout out to Archie, your cat, thank you because a
lot of people are talking about adopting this week and
clearing the shelters and all that. And there's a lovely
picture of your cat Archie Christie.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
In the studio.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yesterday was just gotcha day anniversary. Yes, you adopted him.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Five years ago. Five years ago Archie came into our
lives arth Store Animal League. Thank you so much. They
had to hold him for me, remember Cubby, because there
was a horrible storm that year.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
It was a tropical storm.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, the power was out in.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
The middle of the pandemic.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
In the middle of the pandemic, I remember that when
it was very hard to adopt any animals. They were
all being adopted from the shelters. Everybody was at home
and they won companions. Please please hold on to them.
I'm coming. Yeah, you know, it is just as soon
as the power is back on. I'll be there.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Seems like yesterday, but that was five years ago. There
he was Archie.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
So thank you. And it's clear the shelters month. So
if you're thinking about adopting, I know their north Shore
Animal League and all these wonderful shelters that we have
in this area are really encouraging that and running specials.
And I don't know. I'm they're going of going back
because maybe Archie needs a friend.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I think you should.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I know, Yeah, I know taking on a lot, that's okay.
But I adopted Archie five years ago while Eric was
away camping with his friends. Eric's going away camping with
his friends, Surprise showed up.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
All right, well, adopt if you can, and we're coming
right back. We have three pretty cool things, some fun
facts for Renext on LIGHTFM.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect Sunlight FM.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
It's three pretty cool things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
This is very cool. You have a chance to meet
Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block. There's a
concert going on next weekend called Beatstock, and we'll give
you a pair of Beatstock tickets and a possibility to
meet Joey McIntyre. Here's what you need to do. All
you gotta do is listen to us on the free
iHeartRadio app and set one of six point seven Light

(04:28):
FM as your number one pre set. Then you're gonna
see a microphone there, tap that mic and leave a
talk back telling us that you did it and you
want to meet Joey McIntyre. Then one lucky winner will
win a pair of Beatstock tickets and a meet and
greet with Joey McIntyre.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Very nice, got all that, Yes.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Here's one we already. We actually got this yesterday. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
My name is Mandy, and I would love to meet
Joey McIntyre because I loved him since I was ten
years old.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
I just got back from Vegas saw New.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Kids two nights and I I would love to have
be able to meet him and have a photo other
than his cardboard cutout. It's the bucket list sight of
his mine.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
And that's that's how we hear our talk back there.
So there's a microphone right there. Just leave a message
and tell us something like that.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Just like that.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
All right, where's that from? Just like that and just
like that and just like that.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
That's that's Sex and the City.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, the one that's going away.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
It's going away.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah, just like that.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
All right. Well, Duncan and Khalua are teaming up and
I'm all for this. So Dunkin Donuts and Khalua have
created the Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur. It is a sweet
blend of rum Arabica being coffee and one of Duncan's

(05:46):
most iconic flavors, which is the Caramel Swirl, And it's
already in stores. They say it's designed to be sipped, chilled,
poured over ice, or even blended into a frozen cocktail.
Twenty six dollars a bottle. You can't drink a ton
of that. It's gonna last you a while, just a
little bit at a time. And they say the perfect

(06:06):
garnish is a munchkin. Say Dunkin Munchkin.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
You're saying that you're kind of on board with this.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I know it sounds super sweet, but all I love
those flavors between Duncan coffee and Kalua.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah all right, so two down, one more to go.
Three pretty cool things, Kristin, you're up.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yes, Well, for some reason, celebrities are loving these lookalike contests.
There's one today happening at six twenty Broadway here in
the city, so downtown, and it's an Eminem lookalike contest.
They're looking for fans to dress like Stan. So they're
looking for the bleach blonde hair, the baggy jeans, the
oversized white T shirt. Devin Saua, the actor. He played

(06:41):
Stan in the music video, so kind of you want
to look like him. He's basically what you want to do.
So it's all part of Eminem's new documentary called Stands,
which is about his super fans. It's premiering tonight at
the rooftop at Peer seventeen. There's also going to be
a pop up where you can shop exclusive Slim Shady merchandise,
Eminem vinyls, and there's actually going to be in appearance

(07:02):
by Devin Sawa, he's actually going to be there, okay,
And I don't know, fingers crossed, maybe Eminem will show up.
I don't know if he could happen, right, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I'm not gonna lie. When you first started talking, I
thought the candy Eminem. Oh oh, there's an Eminem lookalike contest,
And I thought to myself, I guess I would go
as a red or like, That's what I thought about.
Then I realized you're more of a yellow. I think,
thank you, Yes, I believe that too. All Right, three
pretty cool things here on light.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
FM, more Covey and Christine and the great music variety
you expect next on light at them we saw.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Where Lady Gaga had the most MTV VMA nominations. Yeah,
that's in September. September seventh, one of six point seven LIGHTFM.
Good Morning, Covey, Christine, Producer Kristen. All Right, you're about
to get on a plane and go on vacation. Please
be safe if you're going to one of these destinations.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Right. So, these are beautiful destinations, but we're finding that
people are searching more and more for whether it's safe.
And we're not talking about crime we're talking about the environment.
So if you're going on a beach vacation, this is
based on recreational drownings, boating accidents, alcohol related deaths, and
extreme heat.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Okay, and this is all just us based, all.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Just us based. So with that under consideration, beautiful Sarasota,
Florida is number one on the riskiest places to go
on vacation. Wow. I know.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
And it could be a bunch of things, right, like
you said, like it could be like the water maybe
known for riptide or.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah what I just mentioned. Yeah, right, clear water comes
in second, Okay, and then Key West Florida, So Florida
boom boom boom.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
And also Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Ocean City, Maryland, Lake George,
New York is in the top ten, and so is
New Orleans.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Really yeah, so does this evolve? Okay? Can you go
back and tell me all the things a factor.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
In again, recreational drownings, boating accidents, alcohol related deaths, and
extreme heat.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
So mainly water based kind of like like beach related
on most water activities or.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Lots of drinking exactly, yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Which sometimes goes hand in Hannah.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, and again the extreme heat you know, New Orleans
I love but wow, right, and Newport, Rhode Island rounds
out the top ten.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
I know, I love Newport.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I was a little surprised about that one. But we
have the safest spots if you want to know where
to go. As with those factors in mind, as Berry
Park comes in third as one of the safest spots
for US vacation. Nice right here in New Jersey.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
We're good.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
Lake Tahoe, California's number one, followed by Hampton, New Hampshire,
Asberry Park, Kenny Bunkport, Maine, and Santa Barbara, California.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
All right, look, all the destinations are great, even the
bad ones, you know, but beautiful. It's more food for thought.
If you are going to a New Orleans or a Sarasota,
maybe keep that in the back of your mind before
we get in the water. Read all the signs.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, keep all of these things in mind, and that
you're going to have the extreme heat. Also, one of
the safe the spots is Virginia Beach, Virginia Covey, where
I grew up.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Yup, yeap, give it up for VB.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light at.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
That Cubby and Christine in the morning, we got produced
a Christian. It's six point fifty and let's open that
can and see what happens. Christine, why not?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
All right, what's the oldest one you have in your house?
A lot of us. When we're cleaning and organizing, you
throw away the canned foods. You find some dates on
there that are a little too old. Yeah, I've found
stuff seriously, like twenty nineteen or something. I'm like, okay,
that's gotta go. But scientists are saying, maybe not so fast.
The best buy dates on the can have to do
with taste and not safety. So scientists recently found old

(10:41):
canned food from nineteen thirty four. They opened it and
they said it actually tasted pretty good. They said, almost
as good as new, except for a slight loss of nutrients.
So basically it's not holding on to any nutritional value.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
But so if I find a can of Spaghettio's from
nineteen fifty three, it might be okay, But it's all
about taste. I guess what they're saying is give it
a shot. I give it a try.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
You'll know, you know if they're telling you to try
this at home kids. But I think what they're saying
is like if it's close, yeah, or you know, if it's.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
An apocalypse and we need to survive on cam food,
I think we're okay.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
I've seen TikTok videos of people opening up bomb shelter
food like from the forties. Wow, and they said it
wasn't half bad, like spam or like a cake.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
You know, really aren't twinkies supposed to last?

Speaker 2 (11:30):
They pass through anything, tweakies and roaches, any make me
do anything? That's how they'll survive the roaches, right, they'll
love it. Yeah, I'm not saying I would do this
at home, but it's good to know you're you're safe
in case you open something and yeah, you know, like
Kristin said, I mean, should the Walking Dead happen, I
mean that's how the characters survive. It's cam food, right,

(11:50):
very realistic show. So absolutely.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
I think this was a great public service to got
us with you any time, and I hope we helped
a lot of people.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
More Covey and Christine and the great music. Right, what
do you expect next on light aut That I want.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
To see the Jonas brothers this weekend. We have your
hook up in fifteen minutes right here on light FM
Covey and Christine in the morning. And wow, that escalated quickly,
it did. I'm looking at the text messages and you
did a whole story about laundry. Yes, we kind of
threw it out there. Who does the laundry in your household?
And boy, oh boy, we got some people fighting with.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Us well, keeping in line with the survey that was
taken across the country that found that single guys do
their own laundry when they're single, and when they get married,
it seems to the majority of the time fall on
the wife. Now she's doing the laundry and you guys
aren't doing your laundry anymore, and.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
People are fired up a five to one six text. Huh,
I've done the laundry for sixty years and he still
doesn't turn his undershirts. They're mostly inside out. Oh yeah,
Do you care about the whole inside out thing? Yes,
because my wife is a big fan of having things
inside out when they go in the wash.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I just had that.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
I don't care.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
No, I had the story yesterday. Remember he showed you.
I don't think we had a chance to share this
knowledge on the air, but that you're supposed to turn
your socks inside out and wash them. Don't just leave
them in a ball everything and toss them in the
in the machine because they won't get really clean.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
So everything should be kind of inside.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Out pretty much. So I mean I turned things inside
out to protect them too, right.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Yeah, So wait, Kristen, you do the laundry in your house,
and the only rule with Ryan, your husband is make
sure your pocket's empty. Yes, but he sometimes will still.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Forget sometimes me too, all the time?

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Yeah, nine one seven is saying I do the laundry,
my husband is not allowed to. He too leaves tissues,
pens and whatever else he finds throughout the day in
his pocket's been married seven years. Gladly took that on.
She said, it's even. This is from Danny and Westchester.
They even and out because he does make her coffee
every morning and he cleans the hardwood floors.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Okay, so he's pitching in.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Okay, he's pitching in all right, So we'll give him
a pass.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Then, don't you love the six three to one read
the one that says, do menerally mess it up?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
This is all?

Speaker 1 (13:58):
This might be true?

Speaker 2 (13:59):
From six to so do men really mess it up?
Or do they mess it up because they won't have
to do it? Lol? Good morning. And yes, as the wife,
I'm the only one that does it. But because there
was so many mess ups. So back to my original question, Kuby,
let's pose it to you. Do men really mess it
up as husbands or do you just do it that
way so you don't have to do the laundry.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
No.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
I tried at the beginning, and I messed up a
few things and legit, honest mistakes. And Coco felt it's
just best if I take control and you just make
sure the piles are you know, darks and whites. At
least do that. I'll do the rest. That's what Coco
said to me.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
And she's even doing yours.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
And she's doing mine and the kids and so now
it's since we've had two kids.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Oh, it's a lot.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
So I'm trying to do the best I can. But
I know I don't do it like she does it.
It's so hard, I don't know. Sometimes, especially with kids pajamas,
there's some are bamb I don't know, she said, bamboo material. Yeah,
they have to hang dry if you put them in
the dryer, You're gonna ruin them. And I've put them
in the dryer before. So the kid's clothes have really
thrown a monkey rich in my plan as helping out.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
There's also a certain way to fold kids clothes because
they're so tiny, and the load of laundry when you do,
the kids close almost like doubles because they are so tiny. Yeah,
so there's a certain way they have to be folded
and put away. It's it's a technique.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Tall. Wow, we didn't even get into folding and ironing.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
That's tomorrow right here.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
Cobby and Christine back in a moment on one O
six point seven.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Time now to win Jonas Brothers concert tickets. But there's
a catch. You have to know your music. One of
six point seven lantfmcubby and Christine in the morning. We've
been doing something this week, kind of having some fun
playing around and uh doing a little flashback track. Yes,
we play a clip of a song. You have to
identify it right, title an artist and you win. Now.

(15:48):
I picked an eighty song yesterday, Christine. Yes, but you
know enough of me. Today's your day.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
You get to pick a song. What decade are you.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Going with I tend to lean nineties nineties.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Okay, all right, so we're gonna play you a clip
of a big tune from the nineties. If you get
it right, and you're the first person to do so,

six seven the title end artist of this big nineties
hit one hundred two two two one oh six seven.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light f M.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
LIGHTFM Covey and Christine in the morning. I picked an
eighties song yesterday for the fuel good flashback track. You
picked one today from the nineties.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Christine, I did Cobby.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Yes, this was a big artist. She had many hits.
Can you identify this clip? Highlight FM? What song is that?
If it makes you happy?

Speaker 4 (17:05):
By Charco.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Yes, wow, you're good. Uh huh who are we talking to?
Congratulations You're off to Jonas Brothers in the Light FM
Suite met Life Stadium this Sunday, along with Marshmallow Hold
on one second and Christine we go back to the
Year I Met You?

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yes was it ninety six?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Nineteen ninety six and Sheryl Crow if it makes you
happy our flash backtrack.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light F them.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Have you ever said this? You know that's a little
out of my price range, but yeah, I want it.
I'm buying it one of six point seven LIGHTFM cut
and Christine in the Morning. That's what we're talking about. Yes,
splurge in a little bit.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
I think Ariana Grande, you know her song, I like it,
I buy it. That's a that's me shopping sometimes and
then worry about the bill later on Joy Lift One
very true Covey and there are things that we know
are kind of expensive, but we're just even if it's
tough times, we're not giving it up and we'll start
small like Starbucks.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Yeah, and then this was something we just saw by
the way, Yes, it's a survey.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Yeah, one of those Reddit poles, Yeah, where people are
kind of weighing in on things that they know, all right,
it's overpriced or I'm not saying Starbucks is overpriced. It's
worth every penny, but we know that we're splurging, right,
and we're choosing to make the splurge. So they go
from like small things small ish? Do buy chocolate?

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Well, all the hype on that not necessary.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
How many times have you picked it up though? Like
I've picked it up and then I see the price
and I'm like, oh no, it goes back. Yeah right, yeah,
like I want to but that. But these are definitely relatables,
like beers and cocktails. When you go to a concert
or sporting event.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Yeah, you're like, okay, I'm not going to go anywhere
else obviously, so I have to get it here.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
I always want the souvenir cup, by.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
The way, like thirteen dollars fifteen, oh no dollars please, yeah,
twenty to thirty now.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yeah, Like I make Eric get like a double wine
so that he'll get the souvenir cup for me to
bring home. And it's like it like thirty bucks.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
Wow, I didn't know they were that high.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah, depending on what Again, that's.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Something that people are saying I'll buy Kristen.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
No, no, I was wondering if.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Christ into the mic and I kept talking no, no, no, no, no,
Christine's right because also Christine likes her her Starbucks cups. Yeah,
like the ones that you can take home with you
and right, yes.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Yeah, those are ones I won't. There's big purchases on
here too, like houses and new cars. Well we know
the prices are way high right now, but yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
But when you when you have to do it, like
like another one on here, And I'm sorry if I'm
jumping around, but like weddings, but you only plan on
having one wedding, you do, you know, so when you
have to that, well you know sometimes that happens, but
you're gonna pay for You're gonna You're gonna spend the money, right.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Yeah, and everything that goes with the wedding, the wedding cake,
the right dress and all. Even it says diamonds somebody,
the whole thing is a marketing ploy. Okay, but I
wouldn't mind having one, right, you know, like you fall
for it, Kristen, somebody put on the list. Sorry, Disney
World and disney Land.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Oh yeah, that's true.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
Oh, it's true.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
That's very true.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
It's very overpriced. That is your favorite.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Place, it is you keep going, You keep going, Kristen, Yeah,
well we make it work.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
How many times are you going to go between now
and let's say, next August.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
I'm four.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
You already have four plans?

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Yeah, we have four trips planned by next August, five
by the end of next year.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Sparks joy.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
If it sparks joy, it's all that Matt happy.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Yes, exactly, and that's why it's worth it. And I
know you haven't gotten into this one. But the Boo
Boo dolls are on the list.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Yeah, we haven't done that.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
No, we haven't caved yet. Does Coco she knows about him,
She knows about him, and Naomi's too young.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Or Naomi's heard of him too. Yeah, I don't even
know if we have one or not, but I know
that they're Oh.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
I think you would know because it's a mystery box.
And one other thing that I see on the list
that I go for manicures and pedicures. Oh yeah, and
I'm not. I don't feel like it's a luxury item.
I kind of feel like it's just you know, like
I'm going to get my hair cut today, Like it's
just part of grooming and what's expected.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
But it makes you happy and it feels good, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Manicures and pedicures, No, a.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Pedicure feels good. I love the whole calf massage thing.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
I mean, I'm not a big fan of doing the toes,
but when they get to the caf in there.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
And I fall asleep, I feel very put together. Yeah,
when I get a manicure of pedicure, I almost like
I think it's a necessity, at least for me.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
That's what I'm saying. I feel like that's not a
luxury like in today's world, so to speak. If I
almost feel like it's expected, it's a necessity. And no,
I mean to be honest, No, I don't like going
for them because there's no you know, I'm always like
whining on the day I have to go because they're
so boring to me.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
But you get to sit. I'd love sitting.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
That's because you've got two kids at home.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
You get to sit for an hour.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
So that that's a luxury to you. For me, I'm
sitting here, I'm sitting at home. Yeah, I just feel
like my life is like taking away, you know, while
I'm waiting for it to dry.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
We should drop the kids off at Christine's house. Good idea,
you know, we'll go get Manny's and petties deal Kristen.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
And we'll film the whole thing for social media. Oh boy,
and we'll have it all on the light.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
So I have four kids, yeah, and you guys are
getting Manny Petties.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Yep, you're going to Monster Jam with Miles. We're going
to Monster Jam with Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
Yeah, yeah, Well maybe if I could go out with
them and keep them busy.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Okay, Yes, more Covey and Christine and the great music
variety you expect next on light at them real quick.

Speaker 1 (22:35):

you a great opportunity to be on board with us

going to tell you about this in a second. Yeah,
it is amazing. They have a ship load of new
entertainment options and we're going to be doing a big
party there. I'll tell you about it in just a second.

(22:57):

Nally and Brulia. Then we played Taylor Swift before that. Yes,
she's in the news today.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
She is because Kubbee Apparently she and Travis were house
hunting in Ohio, specifically Cleveland.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Huh next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Oh yeah, maybe Taylor is prepping.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
She just wants it to be a short commute.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Yeah, they when they.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Start a rumor maybe Travis is being traded to the
Cleveland Browns.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Oh is that what it is?

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Why Cleveland? Is it Ohio?

Speaker 2 (23:28):
He grew up there. The superin Falls neighborhood, okay apparently,
which they say is filled with opulent houses and a
handful of mansions are listed for more than two million dollars.
So I think if they go anywhere, it's gonna be
one of the fancy houses.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
I'm so going to zilla right now, type in Cleveland
and just look at like houses over five or ten million.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Oh wow, probably.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
One of them.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
But they're looking at and then today is super cool.
It's Wednesday. So Netflix is premiering season two of Wednesday.
They said it's streaming right now. We can go home
and watch it. They are giving us four new episodes.
They're sixteen minutes Apiece. The second part of the season
is released in early September.

Speaker 1 (24:11):

You could wrap you could do four today or just
do one a week. Maybe. Yeah, we get to the
next set.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
That's probably smart.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah. I try not to binge like crazy because I
enjoy them so much, so I wanted to stretch out.
And we do get the cameo at some point from
Lady Gaga in this season. Wow, this all kind of
ties in, yes, because congrats to Lady Gaga. We have
the nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards and she's
leading the way twelve nominations, and then Bruno Mars, who
she does are duet with, He's got eleven nominations. Kendrick Lamar, Rose,

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Yes, And there was a rumor by the way that
Britney Spears was going.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
To perform quickly squashed, yeah, or maybe it's a surprise
and it leaked and they're trying to pull.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Back they're saying, Nope, not going to happen.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
All right, Well, this is going to happen. Get ready
for a night unlike any other a board Virgin Voyages,
brand new ship, the Brilliant Lady. If you get a
chance sometime today, just google the Brilliant Lady. I just did.

join us, Cubby Christine, producer Christen for a private dinner.

at the end of the night, somebody will be taken
home a golden ticket and a full future voyage on
the Brilliant Lady. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
At this, by the way, just the dinner alone, Cubby,
sounds incredible. It's the definition of dinner and a show chic,
an elegant, a feast for the senses with modern twists
on vintage tunes, sparkling production numbers, stunning couture fashion. And
that's where we announced the winner of the golden ticket
for a full future voyage on the Brilliant Lady, which
