Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys, what did I miss? One of six

(00:01):
pointy seven Light FM Covey Nina and for Christine producer Kristen,
I'm back, catch me up. What's going on at I?
Do you have a glow?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yeah, because I put on so much suntan lotion.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Did you wear a hat? I had a hat on
because there's more at the lower half of your head.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Okay, that would make sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We were
in the Cayman Island and yeah, you can say Cayman,
but all the local will say.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
K Man cay Man.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yeah, even the local radio station, k Man's Greatest Hits
Gold ninety four to nine. That was the station I
had on. Okay, and they were playing great songs, by
the way. But we had a great time down there.
Very hot, but again we signed up for that. I
mean it's late May we went and pretty much summertime
down there all the time, but really hot this time
of year, like eighty eight degrees and then you add

(00:49):
in the humidity and it felt like one hundred and five.
So you walk out the door and this this this
wave of like just humidity hit you. But it was beautiful.
We had no bad weather. The kids a blast. That
took forever each morning speaking of suntan Losan, getting them
ready to go out to the pool.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
And get a lather up and get their suits on
and all the stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Yeah, and they don't want it, but then you explain
it to them and then it's just and you apply
it over and over again. Yeah, it's NonStop. But we
we swam with the dolphins.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Those are that's cute on your Instagram. I saw those,
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Saw that hung out with us. Some parrots. We saw turtles.
We got to hang out with turtles. I mean overall,
it was a great.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Vacation, excellent. How many days were you there?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
We left on Saturday of last week, Memorial Day weekend,
and we came back this past saturday. Oh wow, a
full week and no and no issues. By the way,
in the back of our mind, you know, we were
flying out of Newark. Oh, in the back of our mind,
we canna have an issue. We're gonna have an issue.
But we were early getting out, we were early coming in.
So and they opened up that runway. They did thirteen days.

(01:51):
I had a schedule as of today.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
What a glowing week you had. Yeah, that is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
And you and you and Jack held it down. Last week.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Jack and I held it down. We we did. We
had Kristin to at Christen really helped us.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Let's put it.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Kristin is the best christ Kristen's like our MVP Quick
Atty Quick. Whenever you need something, I can't find something,
She's like, here you go right there.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
She's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
She's amazing, She's got all the stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Yeah, and you had a birthday party over the weekend
and you're not your own two.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Three oh two.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, the third ones technically is today, but yes, Jagger,
my son, Jagger, he's four.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Today, today's actual birthday.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Today's actual birthday.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
So we had a friend's birthday party on Saturday, which
he had a great time. We had a family party yesterday,
and today is just all about Jagger. Whatever he wants
to do.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
So what will those things be.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Well, he wants McDonald's for dinner, he already said that,
which he doesn't eat often. So this is a treat
for him. So we're doing that, and I know he
wants to go to he's getting he's not listening right now.
He's getting a bike, his very first bike. Oh so
I know the minute he sees it we're spending all
day outside.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Oh that's amazing. Is it the kind you know? Now?
They do those ones where you you walk on the side,
you can walk. They're not even wheat training wheels or
they're not even pedals, right.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah, oh no, this this one has pedals training wheels,
so once he's ready to take them off, it's one.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Of those bikes. Yeah, it was.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
But speaking of birthdays, Cubby, hello, yeah, birthday, well.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Thank you yesterday, yes, and I appreciate it be a
birthday week though those I'm here all week. I like cake.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
You know, what do you think of those people that go,
it's my birthday month? I do.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I do it at home because we don't have kids.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
No, I mean, I'm I'm flattered when people acknowledge my birthday,
which was yesterday. But then after that, I'm like, ah,
you know what, we're good, We're good. But thank you Kristen.
By the way, I have tons of carbs courtesy of you.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Well that's a birthday sugar.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, cookies and there's what do you call those things?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Right, there's like chocolate balls with nuts and.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Stuff, chalk and cookies.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
You're welcome in a balloon. Thank you. That's amazing, and
we're coming right back with three pretty cool things. I'm
happy to be back.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
It's Light FM, starting at eight twenty three hours of commercial, free,
NonStop music. Light at them is New York's most music
more variety station.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
It's three pretty cool things you need to know, all right.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I don't know if this is really a cool thing,
but it's informative. I'll tell you that starchy vegetables, as
well as salty and spicy food, may make you more
attractive to mosquitoes. Drinking alcohol, especially beer, can also make
your body produce more CO two, which is how the
bugs locate us. So take that with you as you're

(04:33):
outside barbecuing this summer. If you're having some spicy text
Mex and having a beer and the mosquitoes are all
over you, that's probably the reason.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
They like beer and barbecue. Two.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yeah, that's how that works, right, Anina, what's your cool thing?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
If you are feeling a little bit foggy in the brain,
perfume and lemon, specifically something you like to smell, can
make your brain sort of focus and get you back
on track. Wow, isn't that interesting?

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I kind of need that, actually, some kind of foggy
this morning, being the first day back.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Do you ever wear coloone in here or perfume in here?

Speaker 1 (05:05):
I don't perfume.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah, I don't in here because I feel like we're
all together in this little bitty space. And what if
someone doesn't like it?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Oh, well that's free thought.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Hello, but maybe tomorrow I'll try, since it seems like
we're all free for all.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
By the way, I have colone in my locker down
the hall. Oh I can go right down and sprits
it if you want, sure, I'll do that after this
and just whiff it up. Yeah, make you focus? Uh huh,
there you go? And what are you gonna whiff up?

Speaker 5 (05:28):
For?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Us?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Producer Christen Well, this is actually pretty exciting. The seventy
eighth annual Tony Awards. They're on June eighth. It's like
the Grammys for Broadway, right, the original cast of Hamilton
with Lin Manuel Miranda. They're going to be reuniting for
the night for a special performance to celebrate the show's
tenth anniversary.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
That is very very cool. Yea, yeah, an iconic show
for sure.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light at them.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Most six point seven Cubby and Nina del Rio and
for Christine producer Kristin And it's international leave the office
early day. Sure, what do you think guys?

Speaker 2 (06:05):
We need more of those. I'm just one.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Uh huh, welcome to I apologize. It's not international leave
the office early day. It was just national leave the
office early day. So if you're listening to us on
the iHeartRadio app in Europe, this is not an international thing.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Don't get in trouble. It's not our problem.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Nina, were catching up on things.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, yeah, I had good weekends.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I heard you on the air all weekend.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I was on the air all.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Did you have time to do anything else?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I did? Yeah. Well, yesterday, thanks to a woman named
Nicole at the James Earl Jones Theater, I went to
go see Real Women Have Curves. It was a great show.
Really yeah, I kind of in a way, like, you know,
there's so many shows to see. This show was so funny,
like it was packed. The audience gave it a standing
ovation during the show. Wow, yeah, that doesn't happen very often.

(06:56):
It was really funny. It was kind of like, I
don't know, just you know, adult jokes in there, a
little bit of adult jokes. You can take your kids, of.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Course, but you know, like, oh, okay, I get it.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Like the humor is very smart, super smart humor. And
the actors in it are amazing. They were really great.
The woman who plays the lead, I think she's twenty five.
This is her first Broadway role. She's fantastic. The woman
who plays her mother had played that role like twenty
five years ago.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh wow.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
So it was. Yeah, it was really charming, really good show.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
But like you said, the jokes will go over a
kid's head, yes, but will hit.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
But I love adults will love them, and they're like
sort of. I was with a friend who's from Perus.
She's like, these are very Spanish culture jokes, you know
what I mean, Like if you're from that world, like
you really get what they're getting towards. It was very funny,
really good show, great songs. If you like a musical,
if you don't like a musical, good show.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Are there Freddy Tony's I don't know, I shouldn't throw
you under the bus like that.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
The Tony Awards, by the way, are coming up on Sunday, Monday,
and on the night before the Tony's. Actually, that's kind
of a big deal that Good Night, Good Luck will
be live on CNN on Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Oh, it's like live live.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, and that's a big deal live live. And that's
a big deal too because those tickets are expensive. It's
the last show if you've missed it. George Clooney has
a Tony nomination for his first show on Broadway, and
you can see it in the privacy of your home
for you know, free.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Producer Kristen being a producer.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yeah, they have two Tony Award nominations Best Original Score,
Great and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured
Role in a Musical.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
And who is that actress? Which is her? Does it
say her name?

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Justina?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
You're making producer Kristen work.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
I know, but I have the Justina.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
You have the program.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Oh Justina is the woman who plays the mother. She's great.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, yeah, you got the play bill right for I know.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Because I just can't trust myself to remember stuff. But
it was a great show to the Jamiel Joe's Theatre.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light f them.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
When I was six point seven Light f M. It's
Kubby and Nina and producer Christen on a Monday morning.
Hope everybody's good. It's Monday, June second. Yesterday happened to
be Cubby's birthday. Huh yes, huh yeah, we missed it well.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
On a Sunday. Yeah, I wasn't here and I heard
you on the air. I was waiting for my shout out.
You ever mentioned me?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I never mentioned you because I was getting ready for
you today. I came up with a little quiz. Oh okay,
I wanted to test your test, your test you, and
I'm going to test Kristin as well. Actually no, yeah,
who knows more about nineteen seventy one?

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Oh the year I was born?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yeah, the year you were born? Wow, okay, I think
Kristen could actually stump you on some of these. Why
is that because I crafted it that way? You ready?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Oh yeah, what year were you born?

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Kristin eighty seven?

Speaker 2 (09:35):
So to be fair, you should win, yeah easily, And
I'll tell you it right now. I don't have a prize.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I mean we should have come.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Up with a prize.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Oh high five, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Okay, here's what I'll do. Whoever wins gets gets what
year were you? What year you were in Christen.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Eighty seven seventy one for Cubby.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Oh, I'm giving you five bucks.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
That's not bad though. That's five dollars more than I have.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Five bucks is on the low.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Okay, five coffee?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
All right, here we go. This was sent for the
first time in nineteen seventy one.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
This was sent.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Now today. I'll give you a hint for each one
of these. If you look blank, like Kristien's face looks
really black.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
I'm gonna go with email.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yes, nineteen seventy one, nineteen seventy one, the first email.
That's awesome. Wow, okay, dang one for Cubby all right.
This opened in nineteen seventy one.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Oh, I know, I know what.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Oh, I know too, I know.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Yeah, go ahead, you do it, Kristen, I got another one.
This also opened in nineteen seventy one Disneyland, and at
the beginning they only sold beans.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Oh, Starbucks.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yes, oh, yes, yeah, pretty good. You're doing pretty good.
This started rolling out in a plastic bottle for the
first time in nineteen seventy one. Coke Coke. She said
it first.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
All right, all right, all right.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
This actor was born the same week as Cubby and
also started his career with.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
The nickname Oh it same week as me? Or my
birthday exactly? No week week? Oh gosh, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
It could be any I could give you another hint.
We've also seen him.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Shirtless, just like you, Ricky Martin.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
No, we've also, but only ringer or actor does that
give it away?

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Both both.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
We've also seen him with his pants off.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Oh my gosh, so nice.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
He named himself twice.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Why am I not getting I don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
I don't know Marky Mark?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Oh why don't.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
I know that?

Speaker 1 (11:32):
I should know that? Okay, I was you know what
I was going older when I wasn't even thinking Hello
seventy one. Yeah, I would say like Bob Hobe or
Bob Hope.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
This came out in nineteen seventy one and doesn't work
in the metric system.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
This came out in nineteen seventy one, doesn't work in
the metric system.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
A ruler, they would call it by another name in
the metric system.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
They would call it by another name in the metrics system.
These questions started off pretty easy.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
And then they get harder.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
They get hard harder.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
I don't know, I give up the quarter pounder quarter.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Oh, by the way, this is your your year too,
I know you're born.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
I did even know all these questions. I would have
failed on this right.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Two more This book came out in nineteen seventy one,
Wait but it became a movie two years later.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Thorn Birds with a lot of Vomit. Oh, Exorcist, Yes yeah,
and one more this only you'll get copy.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
This was one of the most popular songs of nineteen
seventy one. That includes.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
If you she got it?

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Whoa yeah?

Speaker 1 (12:38):
What what was that?

Speaker 5 (12:40):
Not?

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Three times?

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Remember who did it?

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Do you remember? To Orlando?

Speaker 1 (12:45):
And you know one of the big songs of seventy one,
which I remember I don't remember until like I heard
it for the first time in seventy five with Joy
to the World. Oh yeah yeah, So I thought maybe
Joy to the World was going to be in there somewhere,
But no, you got me.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
No, I don't know who won. I forgot just to
keep scoring.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I had fun, no matter what, I'll tell you.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Well, Cuby's birthday he won, yes, oh yeah, thank you yay.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
And your birthday coming up July twenty seventh.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
You will be here, so enjoy that you do the
same quiz.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
They don't test our memory too.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
See if I remember more Covey and Christine and the
great music variety you expect next. Don't light out that.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
It's like FM. Christine's off today, Nina, Kubby, I'm back,
Kristen's here, We're all back together.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Fantastic.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
If you're maybe having a baby and planning names, what
are you looking up? What are you looking up? Do
you have that list? I don't have that list?

Speaker 4 (13:36):
I have it?

Speaker 1 (13:36):
You have that you're looking at me?

Speaker 2 (13:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
I wanted to be surprised, so I wasn't sure if
Kristin had it or if Nina had it. I know
I don't have it, but surprise me. Q.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
So this is Google's revealing the top searched baby names.
I want to make that clear because these are not
the top baby names.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Every year we get like the popular name. Yeah, exactly, exactly.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
These are the tester versions.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Yes, so it's not necessarily that people are using these names,
but they are thinking about it.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Okay, so we'll start from ten up.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Sure, I have a question. Guys and girls mixed in
the test. Okay, so it's not just the males and
the females. Okay, we're doing everybody here.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
So number ten, yes, number ten Lincoln Lincoln, which could
go either way, it could boy or girl. Number nine
is Milo Milo.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Eight is Zion, Zion, Zion's cute. I've met some Zions
people people go through with that one. I would say,
that's a yes. Really, I've met some Zions, little guys,
really little guys, guys. They're they're little because it's a
new name, right in the world of popular names, alright.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Seven is Violet, Violet, Violet.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
You know Violet is Violet is the woman at the
parking garage. I just asked her name the other day.
Woman takes your money or tics are yeah, yeah, because
we know you say hello to the same people all
the time.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah, Violet. Wait, the one that at five am, the
curly hair. I thought that's Cynthia. I think that's Cynthia.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
I think there's Violet too. You know what, I'll go
to the thing, good morning. It just mumble it what
happens if she looks all right? Six is Aria Aria
like a song, like an opera.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
These are all very unique names, they are, right well.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
Five is Athena.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Oh that's big. That's a lot to live up to Athena. Right,
it is the queen.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Yeah, four is Amelia. Three is Sadi, which I actually,
for like a hot minute, had on my list, Like.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Why didn't you pull it off? Why did you go
with it?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Because I always wanted Bowie. Bowie was always number one.
That's my daughter's name.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Could be Bowie Sadie, but that's not her name.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
No, it's Bowie Rose.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Rose is a good name.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Yeah, that's a middle name for Naomi.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Oh is it our daughter?

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Huh, get that digress number two? Number two is actually
a popular name. It's a Theodore.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Oh yeah, THEO is big now, yeah, THEO.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
And number one is Sutton Sutton after Sutton Foster.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Again, these are all names, they're just being googled. Yeah,
they're most popular. But people are googling Sutton and finding
out what their names about.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
It interesting how many of them are unisex and like
they could go across cultures, they could go across all
sorts of things, right right, yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
How come people? I wish people would google some old
school names. Well, like Gary.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Nobody's name is Gary or Gary. When I was seven,
there were like four Gary, five Jennifers.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Larry's I don't Larry's Larry's anymore.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
God love you, Larry.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
I think those names are eventually going to come back
because they're saying, you know, people are naming their kids
like their grandma's names now, like my one of my
best friends, her daughter's name is Odette.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
Oh that's a great name after her grandmother, doesn't.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Isn't it interesting how you say a specific name and
you think of something like Larry's. Always think of guy's
with curly hair.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
When you hear the name Beatrice, what do you think Beatrice?

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Big and blonde?

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah, I think of an old like diner waitress. Yeah, yeah,
with the cigarette hanging out.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Interest me for sure.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
I were coming right back with azy first date probably
be gonna like a repeat. They haven't had a new
one in a while, But call us up if you
want something.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
More music and more Covey and Christine coming up. One
I was six point seven Light at Them, more Covey
