One of six point seven Light of m Cubby Christine

said earlier, good to have Kristen back, who uh got
a little sinus issue going on. You got your pills
right there?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Got my pills? Are you already?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Oh there you go, like the big horse pills.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Oh yes, they are so Yeah. You were like I
remember Tuesday during the show, you were just dragging. Man.
I was get your head down and I could tell
you didn't feel good.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yeah, it's hurt. And yesterday I was like weekend at Bernie's.
I just could not get up. I couldn't get up.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
You're able to come in today, thank you.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah, strong antibiotics they worked too.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yeah. And Ryan, your husband kind of kept the kids
at bay a little bit or you still had to
be I mean, there's never a day off when you
have kids.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
No, No, there's not, especially when you know I was
home technically in the morning getting ready for school and
they're like mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy. So you know,
I got up to help and then crashed after they left.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
But good to have you by, thank you. Yeah. I
was talking to Christin by her desk earlier, and I'm like,
it's just the beginning of fall. I mean, the cold
weather is just the beginning. I mean, these colds are
gonna pop up.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
It just seems like everyone I know, like really everybody
has somebody once a.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
School start, got this going on right now in September,
once we all got back together, Yeah, got something going on. Luckily,
I feel pretty good. You feel pretty good, Christine. I
think so by the way you look good. I'm not
gonna lie sometimes I do not mention that I noticed
that you got your hair done right when you walked inland. WHOA,
thank you. Your hair looks pretty thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Thank you. Christina Liberatore. Yes, Christina does my hair. It
was for years. We're good friends and she does my
hair and she works at Maggiori Salon. Okay, Ricardo Maggiori
Salon here in Manhattan.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
To take note of it.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I was really really happy and thrilled to hear that.
Christina said one time, you know you compliments in my hair,
and I mentioned her, and someone listening wrote down her
name and the name of the salon and went in
there and said they heard it on light. That's really
really Christina Liberatory, Ricardo Maggiore Salon. She's on East fifty

(02:10):
seventh Street.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I wouldn't even know how to google that right now?
How do you spell that? If I was listening, that's
M A G G I O R E. All right, Celon,
you can get your hair done.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Go there, Manhattan.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
She is the best she is. You're Christine and she's Christina.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah. And this is Kristen and that's christ Oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
And I'm Chubby. I'll put the when there's last ehs
and except for Christy. But you know, sometimes people call
me chubby.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Sometimes the iPhone makes you chubby, Like I want to
write cubby and it changes it's chubby right, Like, No,
that's not what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
He's a little r correct.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
All the time. Yeah, even when I give my name,
like at a doctor's office and there Chubby will see you.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Now, I don't know, if we sit down, Chubby will
be with you.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
In a moment. I might just change my name to Chubby.
I don't know. All right, we got three pretty cool
things coming up next. One of my cool things I've
been doing it all week, Creola experience. I have your
hookup coming up.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Cobby and Christine in the morning more next on one
oh six point seven light f M.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
It's three pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
And since my cool thing involves a getaway and a giveaway,
it's a getaway though, you have to leave, but I'll
go last, all right, So if you don't mind, you
go first.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Christia, none at all. This is exciting. Netflix has just
dropped the trailer for season four of Bridgerton. Yes, It's
coming back. New season will be released in two parts.
Part one January twenty ninth of twenty six, of course,
and part two follows on February twenty six, and this
season will spotlight the love story between Benedict Bridgerton and

(03:47):
Sophieback and creator Sonda Rhimes says, I'm already working on
season five.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I know you're a fan of this, aren't you?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Absolutely and she said. Shonda Rymes also said she plans
to give each Bridgerton sibling their own season eventually, which
would mean eight seasons total.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Look at that, all right, Bridgington fans rejoice? All right,
what do you have, Kristin?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Well, it's been six years since Snapple got rid of
their iconic glass bottles, but they're bringing it back, but
of course there's a catch. Okay, they're only bringing it
back in one state and only five flavors, so Snapple, Apple, Kiwi, Strawberry,
Peacht Zero, Sugar, Peach Tea, and Lemon Tea. The company
said they're doing this because of the overwhelming demand and

(04:28):
they want to focus on paying homage to Snapple's birthplace,
which is Brooklyn. So New York is the one state
that's going to see the limited edition glass bottles on
sale for three ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
All right, don't drop those, don't drop them. Okay, they
make a mess, all right, And now we look for
collar ten one hundred two two two one oh six seven.
We have a family four pack of tickets to Crayola Experience.
Get ready for Scream in Honto, Wien. You can treat
your family to Monsterrific fun now through October thirty. First
for another chance to win, head to lightfm dot com

(04:59):
but again looking for caller ten. We'll hook you up
from light FM.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
F them I want to six pointy seven light FM Covey, Christine,
producer Christen and these are ten questions that if you
are a happy couple you should be asking to each other.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Well, yes, psychologists are saying you, guys, you need to
like constantly check in with each other, listen to each other,
and remain connected. So they are suggesting ten questions that
they say happy couples do this on a steady basis.
And I know, like a lot of times I feel
like I'm gonna get us in trouble, but we're not
because like Eric's asleep and Ryan's busy, Coco's not listening.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
So here we go.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Okay, so when you go home, they won't know why
we're asking them these questions, but ask them things like
what are your best and worst memories of your childhood?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Oh boy, yeah, well that has to be a right
time for that one.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
You can just come home and I'm just going to
be as soon as I walk in the door. Here,
Eric still tell me.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
All right, so take notes here, okay.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Uh, list your three biggest needs and how I can
fulfill them.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Well, I said that last night in bed.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Of course, you're dead covey of your friends, of your
friends and family. Who do you think has the best
relationship and why.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
That's see that's a detailanger that can't come out of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
I think that's danger zone too. You're never supposed to
compare yourself to other couples, of course, not so. I've
been told, Yeah, what is the best part about being together?
Conversation sounds good and.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
That can lead to like old memories and talking.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
About travels and we've had a lot of fun times. Okay,
what kinds of things do I do that annoy you? No?

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Boy, that could start a fighting?

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Do you want to open that can of worms?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
We should do these questions just in the room.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Does anything keep you awake at night that you haven't
shared with me?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Again? You may hear something though you don't want to hear.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Or they can share their anxieties, what their concerns and
worries are true without judgment. Right. Is there something you've
dreamed of doing but you haven't done it yet?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Good question to ask, you know, because maybe they're just
not telling you.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, Or write something you want to accomplish in life
and now you're sharing that with your partner and they
can support you in that, right, I don't know. Trying okay,
not too self centered? Why do you love me?

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Oh boy?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
And when did you feel loved by me?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
But is that going to come across as about all
about you?

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Like I can see why you would yeah, yeah, oh man,
what would you consider unforgivable? And why again? Danger zone?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
That is very yeah, that is.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
I mean I think we know you don't cheat on me.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Yeah, all right, those the ones I've heard.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
But we're supposed to ask and listen. So and finally,
how can we make our love life better? Cubby? According
to you, you don't even need that question.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Not at all that No, yeah, what was that question?
Last question number two?

Speaker 3 (08:08):
How can we make our love life better?

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Yeah, Coco, she's good, she's good.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
No, that's why she's asleep right now.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
The answers to these questions sound like the yeah, I'm
not even you know the trend on you know, social media.
We listen and we don't judge. Yeah, and then someone
would say something that that's these answers are totally that trend. Oh,
because this is scary. It's all a dangerous.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Do you find this again? Like I said, I'm glad
our partners are sleeping or are preoccupied, because these can
be dangerous.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Well, text us, what are your thoughts? Four, four, three, six, three,
would you ask one of these questions.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light FM, you.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Have your variety from the eighties through today. Good morning,
It's six fifty Thursday, Cubby, Christine, producer Christen Light FM.
And here's a fun conversation to have. And I'm sure
we'll get a lot of text on this because people
have various opinions. You can text us at four four
three six three. But we're talking about TV here and
the best show ever. And here's what qualifies the best

(09:13):
show ever. It never had a bad season. What show,
right in your opinion, has never had a bad never
had a bad season. Every single season was amazing. I
never saw Breaking Bad, but I bet you we get
a lot of breaking bads.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Breaking Bad is definitely going to be on the list.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Sopranos, I think was excellent beginning to end right Like,
I don't think it jumped the shark at any point.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
That's a big to me. That's a big stamp of approval.
If you can say a show never had a bad season, yeah,
because can you think of shows that were great but
had a bad season or a clunker here and there.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, there were shows that I loved and then you
know a popular one that there was one season where
I was just like oof and it kind of stopped
me from watching. It was The Walking Dead meat and
I know everyone loves the Walking but I think it
was like season three, it slowed down and I was like, and.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
It did make a comeback, No, it did, it did,
but you had to.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Get through that that slow season.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
I don't know what happened. It was all about the
Walking Dead. And then there was one point where it
just became too much, like too much violence, too many
losing to many characters. So I probably made it past
the third season and then I was done unfortunately. Also
comedy shows like Seinfeld.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah, you're right, because every episode was different, every season
was pretty much on par.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
That was great.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
I mean, you can go on forever. I can't.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
But again, bad season.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
You have to remember when you when you pick a
show that never had a bad season, you have to
really you have to be right, because.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Well you don't want to recommend it to someone and
then they're.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Like, hey, it was good until right yea.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
So my favorite show of all time is the Office,
and in my opinion, there was not a bad season.
But a lot of people say that once Steve Carell.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Left that it went down it changed a bit.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
It did change, But I didn't think any of the
seasons were.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Bad, right right, We would still love watching it. I mean,
I'm always going to talk about this show because I
love it severance. But we're only two seasons in, so
I get this is something we're talking about, like a
whole series that's already done, right, you know me.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I'm thinking, Brady, bunch of different strokes, what's happening?

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Never had a bad season, a bad sea.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I love every single episode. Give us a text, what show,
in your opinion, never had a bad season?

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Ever?

Speaker 1 (11:29):
It was just great from episode one to episode nine hundred.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah, four four three six three. We're already seeing great
things on here by the way, Stranger things, Oh absolutely,
I'm so with you. Outlander, that's another favorite of ours,
The Facts of Life? Cubby, did you teest that one in?

Speaker 1 (11:46):
I love people that recommend eighties and nineties and even seventies.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Also King of Queens and Reba. So yeah, we love
to hear from you shows that never had a bad season.
Four four three six three more.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Covey and Christine and thereat he's a variety you expect.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Next on Light at Them one oh six seven Light FM,
Kubby and Christine in the morning, I said six seven,
very bluntly on purpose. Did because we're still trying.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
To figure out our nerves.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, six seven. Are there any teachers out there that
can help us here? Please give us a tax at
four four three six three h Maybe Miss Chris is
tuned in. That's Naomi's kindergarten teacher. I don't know if
she listens, but uh, miss Chris, uh, maybe you're dealing
with this. Is it kindergarten level or is he? Is
it tire?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
It's like the tweens and teens?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
So what is six to seven?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Well, we've talked about this on air. I thought it
meant it's it's something they are saying, and I thought
it meant like Midland, like mid you know, like myth
it's six seven, But it apparently means nothing.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Right, and they do a hand motion like this six
six or yeah, they lift their hands up and down
six to seven.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
I don't know what it means, no idea, because I
remember talking about it with you, Christine, maybe a couple
of weeks ago, yeah, and I acted like, Okay, now
I get it, but I drove home going you know
that conversation we had. I really don't understand it.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
I think we're trying to make sense of it, but
we can't. And apparently, now that we're back in school,
it's driving some teachers crazy. There's a teacher from Michigan
who posted uh, saying I've been teaching for twenty years.
I've dealt with all sorts of slang. Nothing has driven
me crazier than this one. So to combat it, she

(13:26):
requires students to write a sixty seven word essay every
time they say it.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Ooh, that'll shut them down.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Then we've got a teacher in New Jersey who said,
every time her students yell out six' seven and it
interrupts the, class their homework is to WRITE i will
not say six to seven in class six to seven,
times repeat offenders have to write it sixty seven. Times.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Wow, see if we knew what it, meant we wouldn't
be frustrated and we wouldn't be making you do things
kids if you told us what it really.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Is, okay so we're getting texts thank you four four
three sixty three teacher.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Here this is.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Hilarious i'm glad AND i am banning it from my.
Classroom that's from a nine one seven nine oh eight
says it's from an interview with a basketball. Player he
was asked how totally was and he, SAID i don't
know six Seven, oh.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Okay how are? Like how are kids using it in a?
Sentence can you give me an? Example, kristen, no, like
how's it coming?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Up honestly is saying they just yell it.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Out but this is WHAT i don't understand because nine
one seven says it's from a.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Song, Right so, see nobody. Knows they all have their,
guesses but no one really really.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Knows oh my, gosh nine one seven do you know
how difficult it is to be a music teacher and
say five six seven eight multiple times a? Day and
here's six seven giggles every TIME i say, THAT i
never thought of.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
That, yeah, uh, well keep text and maybe we'll figure this.
Out four four three six.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Three and they are confirming What kristen's telling us nine
seven three that the hand gestures go with it makes
them even. Crazier are we just not?

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Cool we're totally not? Cool not to be, okay we
will a thing to. Be BUT i mean we got
to get on this all, right seed some, Guidance, yeah sure.

Six it's seven forty. Eight, honey you got twelve, minutes twelve.
Minutes we're leaving at. Eight that's WHAT i do at the.
House It's, Covey, christine Producer. Christen, yeah we're talking about. Timing,
yeah and uh, yeah my wife makes it WHEN i
do time. Checks if we have to leave, somewhere she
gets busy out the. Door, yeah she's doing her, hair
makeup all that she loses, tracks so she actually likes

(18:08):
it WHEN i go, countdown give me every five or ten,
minutes how much time we, Got and, uh, yeah we're
having a whole discussion here about when are you really
technically considered late to? Me if you're on, time you're.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Late, yeah because you AND i have like radio timing
in our, heads so we're ALL i think we're like
really particular about.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
It we're almost down to the, minute are you like, Us?

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Kristen NORMALLY i, am BUT i AM i end up being.
Late that's the problem Because i'm getting everybody else, ready
And i'm the same WAY i do that time, check like, okay,
guys ten, minutes five, minutes BUT i always have to
give that extra, like, hey we're gonna leave at seven,
thirty even though we don't have to leave until seven forty.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Five, yes, lie, lie it, Works it definitely. WORKS i
like to do With. ERIC i like to do a five,
minutes mister cal because that's a. Door, yeah that's. It,
yeah at the dressing. Room five minutes and he needs to,
go thank, you five. Minutes that's a. Thing but, anyway
people running late is like becoming very very, common and

(19:07):
psychologists are saying the reason that we think we're okay
with it is because of our. Phones like we think
if we, go, Hey i'm running five minutes, late that it's.
Okay but it's still not. Okay and they are, suggesting
in order to boost your, reputation show up five minutes,
early if not.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
EARLIER i think five minutes early still kind of pushing.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
It if five minutes, early they, say there's a snap.
Judgment on the positive, side people will see you as, organized,
determined and. DEPENDABLE i think the only time it's not
cool to show up even five early is if somebody's
throwing a. Party, yeah, yes BECAUSE i know HOW i.
Am i'm like still vacuuming to the last, Second like
you don't WANT i want people to come too.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
EARLY i THINK i told you. This but you Know Tom,
pullman big wig here At. iHeartRadio, Yeah i've known him
for thirty. Years we're like. Family and he used to
invite me to his house For thanksgiving and it was
like you get there at, NOON i, believe and this
like back in the. NINETIES i used to go there
every year and one YEAR i got there so early
that his wife is still vacuuming and she made me

(20:09):
actually vacuum and get the house ready for the guests
BECAUSE i got there so. Early. Yeah so you don't
want to get there too early because you'll end up.
Working oh, absolutely you don't want to be hurting somebody
out when.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
You're supposed to sit back and enjoying.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Food NOW i Think i'm lose my thought. HERE i
FORGOT i totally lost, it totally lost.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
