Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, in the last twelve hours here among us

(00:03):
Cubby Christine and producer christ And we've had broken snow globes,
we've had trips booked in the middle of the night,
and we have a sick cat's that's us right here
in a nutshell one to six point seven light FM.
We're going to touch in all of this right now, okay,
because I don't know where to begin. So much drama, yeah,
I know, well I have good drama.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
You've got the best one. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
So I went to bed at nine thirty. Coco, my
wife right next to me as always, and I always
go to bed, and she'll stay up a little bit longer.
She didn't have to get up at three thirty, so
she'll hang and linger on her phone. So I woke
up this morning at three thirty, the usual time. I
looked at my phone. It was a text for my
wife and she sent it like at ten thirty in
the evening, so I'd been asleep for an hour and

(00:45):
it was just a little shamrock. It was a little like, uh,
here's Lembercyn holding shamrock, yeah, waving, yeah, one of those gifts. Yeah,
And I just I'm like, I don't know what this is.
I don't know why she sent this. If she's saying
good luck, have a great Friday, Like, I don't know.
Is it Saint Patti's Day? No, No, it's not March.
I couldn't figure it out. I'm like, I'll just text her,

(01:05):
you know, when I wake up, and then she'll reply
at seven whenever she wakes up. Well, then I go
to my email and it says United Airlines charge twenty
five hundred dollars at the same and the email came
at ten thirty, the same time the gif the gift
was sent. Lo and behold what she was trying to
tell me. And she was probably trying to say, you'll

(01:27):
figure it out. We're going to Dublin in March of
next year. She woke trip to doublin Pe, So I'm
cool with it.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
We didn't really talk about it though, but my wife
is the keeper of the calendar, so we're already looking
ahead to next year when Neomi will be in kindergarten,
and so obviously we have to pay attention to that
because it's much more strict. Right now, she's in daycare,
so we can kind of come and go as we please.
We got to really follow that calendar next year, so
I guess she's really planning ahead. So there you go,

(01:57):
Dublin in March, everybody, I'll be off twenty six.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Okay, thanks for letting me STU for a week, I believe.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Okay, So yeah, now you Christine, Yeah, your poor cat Archie.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Well, you guys, anybody who has pet snow, especially cats,
sometimes you wake up to the sound of them being
sick to their stomach. Yes, woke up to that this morning.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Which it sounds like, yes, he doesn't have a cat.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I don't really want to do the sound because it's yeah,
but we can do it.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
He.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
This happened while I was on vacation too, and Archie
is not one of those cats who gets sick to
his stomach too often. And you know, I start to
get really neurotic and worry. Do you remember before I left,
I was asking for help because I have a The
bathtub downstairs, which is technically Archie's bathroom, has like a
little back up in the tub where there's always a
little water, yeah, bubbles on tree. No. The plumber had

(02:53):
said to me that if it's not a slow drip,
he can't fix it. He said, if that's still there,
then and you need rotor Ruter. And then we went
on vacation and we came back and it's still there.
My fear is that Archie's looking up that little bit
of dirty water. So now I'm kind of like in
a panic.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
You really need I really need, like stat you need
some pros.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Right exactly exactly because we have to take care of our.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Rotor router to the rescue. Because you're saving pipes and
you're saving Archie exactly, he might be throwing up from
licking that water.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I think that that's what I'm putting together.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
All right, So now we come to you, producer Christen,
Do you need rotor ruder? Because if you need plumbing
help at all, they're the people.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
To call any help. In general, it sounds.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Like, so what's shattered in the middle of the night
or close to the middle of the night.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Goodness. So my kids have these little cute snow globes.
They're adorable, but they know they're not supposed to play
with them. My soon to be four year old son
thought that it would be fun to play with them,
go against what mommy said. He put him in this
little backpack he likes to play adventure. That's his like
new thing, and it's very cute. He wants to go
on an adventure. I love his open mind. But uh,
the backpack that he put the snow globes in dropped

(04:01):
and I heard a shatter and when I opened it up,
it was glass everywhere.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Was it all just in the bag? Where did some
of it spill out?

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Some of it spilled out?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
So that was a little bit of a mess, actually
a big mess to clean up.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
And is that water in a snow globe? What is
that special?

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I don't know what they put in there.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
I'm sure it's not just water.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
It's definitely not just water. It didn't feel or smell
like water.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
So is that bag salvageable? It is?

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I cleaned it? I did clean it it, I hope.
So it was an expensive maybe.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
So if you could put it out in the sun,
like if the sun ever shows up again, I know
it's been raining, all right, you try it out that way.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
It's in the garage right now, so I'll see what happens.
But you know, mommy said no, and we did it anyway,
So let's learn.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I don't know, we're all ready for a Friday right here,
let's do this, get into the weekend.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Light FM more Covy and Christine and the great music
variety you expect. Next on light FM, it's three pretty
cool things you need to know right.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Here on NFM with Kubby and Christine and producer Christen.
This is a pretty cool fact. It could all you know.
It could almost be a nearly impossible question. There are
two jobs where ninety five percent of the workforce is female.
Can you name the jobs?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Ooh, interesting percent?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Yeah, ninety and there are two jobs, two jobs the
workforce is mainly female ninety five percent. It is a
kindergarten teacher and a dental hygienist. Oh wow, And we'll
repeat that question at seven forty.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Okay, Yeah, let's do it.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
That's a good one. Make people, make people listen. Right
there you go. They know the answer already. Now we'll
switch it up.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Coming up so long today too.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
By the way, Oh, good point, post malone concentists coming.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I might want to check back.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
What's your cool thing? Christine? Well?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
For George Clooney fans and Broadway fans, I think you're
gonna like this. CNN is going to live stream the
last uh, the last night of good Night and good
Luck on Broadway. So that has been selling out on Broadway.
That is George Clooney's Broadway debut. I don't know if
you see the crowds waiting for him. It's received five
Tony Awards nominations, that is, including Best Leading Actor for

(06:12):
George Clooney. It has its final show on June eighth,
the day before the Tony Awards, and CNN is going
to air it June's actually they're doing June seventh, So okay,
June eighth is a Matt and a. They're going to
do the evening on June seventh.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Very very cool, all right, And what's your cool thing, Kristen.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
I have a very cool story. So there are triplets,
twenty two year old triplets right from right here in Connecticut.
They grew up together. They were very very very close,
Caroline Daniel and Michael Gruseki. When it came to college,
they initially planned to go to different schools, so two
of them went to Mammuth University. One of them went
down to North Carolina. But they realized, we don't like

(06:53):
being away from each other, so the one in North
Carolina decided to transfer to Mammath University. So all three
of them went to colleg together. They're all graduating this year,
all together with the same major, all communications majors, all
three kids. Imagine being that parent, you know. So congratulations
to them. And now their plan is to come to
the city, all three of them at the same time,

(07:15):
to find jobs. Okay, so they're sticking together.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Take our jobartrate.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
I think we are go to iHeart Careers, I believe,
and find out if we're.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Hiring more Covey and Christine and the great music variety
you expect next on light O them.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Can you figure out this mystery voice one of six
pointy seven light FM. My name is Covey, that's Christine,
producer Kristin. I have for you a celebrity voice and
you can play along if you're at home. We're in
the car. But this is a competition between Christine and
producer Kristen and it's fierce. It's very fierce, and the
winner always gets five bucks venmode by me to.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
You Coffee time.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Coffee time, So here we go. Can identify this mystery voice?

Speaker 6 (07:58):
First of all, I don't drink water, which if you
know me, you know me. And you know, that's just
crazy weird, like how I'm still living? No one knows?

Speaker 1 (08:09):
All right, would you like a hit?

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (08:12):
She was on a big TV show in the early nineties.
One more time.

Speaker 6 (08:16):
First of all, I don't drink water, which if you
know me, you know me, and you know that's just
crazy weird, like how.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
I'm still living.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
No one knows.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
I'm so glad at this.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
She's it's really familiar. And I was thinking TV, but
I don't have a.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Clue nineties TV nineties, that's early nineties show on the
Fox network. Oh, that doesn't help me.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
And this is the older This is a recent interview.
She probably sounded different maybe back in the early nineties.
Reese Witherspoon, No, not a bad guess.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
First of all, I don't drink water, which if you
know me, you know me, and you know that's just
crazy weird, like how I'm still living.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
No one knows.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
She's so familiar and I don't know. Give it to us, cubby,
go ahead.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Tory spelling. Oh, she's fifty two today, known for Beverly
Hill's nine two.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
And oh, but now known for not drinking water.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Then she doesn't drink water. Yeah, yeah, it's weird, right, yeah,
well tory spelling exactly. If you're having a birthday today,
you share it with Pierce Bronson. He's seventy two today.
Deborah Winger is seventy years old today, Janet Missus Jackson
if You're Nasty is fifty nine years old today. And
Tracy Gold she was on Growing Pains, she's fifty six

(09:42):
years old today. If you're a set of brain today,
make it a great day.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on Light at.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Them all right, gen Z is added again one of
six point seven Light FM. Cubby, Christine and Kristin. And
what are they mad about now, gen z ors.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Well, they flipped the square on us. Okay, So this
is just a heads up to all our friends who
are not gen z Ers. We like to use the
smiley emoji all the time in our email and our
text messages, and we think that means yea happy For
gen Z, it means no, you're being dismissive, passive, aggressive,

(10:19):
sarcastic and phony. That's what like the true smiley face
means to them. So we need to keep that in mind.
The wall Street Journal actually looked into this and they
spoke with a twenty one year old in turn, and
the person said, I have to look at the email
or the text and go, oh okay, wait, that's an

(10:39):
older coworker. They don't know they actually mean it as
a genuine smile. For us, it's a side eye smile.
It means we're being sarcastic.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
Well, there are several different types of smiling emojis, which.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
When I'm being sarcastic, I'll give you one of those, right.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Right, I'll do the one with the straight mouth.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Yea cheesy, They're cheesy, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
That e or sometimes the wink to let you know
I'm kidding.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
So how do you show someone you're legit happy and
you're smiling, Like, what is the right smiling emoji?

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Insult? Gen Z cubby, I'm lost.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Well, we can see emojis on our text here, right, yes,
all right? So text us at four four, three six three.
In your opinion, what is a happy emoji? Because I
mean some of these, you say, gen Z says, it
looks like you're being.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Kind of a legit smile.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Yeah, yeah, the legit smile is not good enough for
them though.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
That means you're being dismissive and sarcastic and phony.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
You can't win, We're lost. So the only thing to
do is in that really goofy one with goo.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
Tongue and one eye clothes the other eye bugging out.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Does that make you like realize I'm happy and I'm
having fun here? Like that's the one to send.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Then Who's drunk? Someone's drunk?

Speaker 5 (11:48):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light FM.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Happy Friday from all of us here at light FM, Cubby, Christine,
producer Kristin, thank you for turning us on on this
national piece. It's a party day, it's not. It's not National.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Pizza Day because that seems to happen a lot it does.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
National Pizza Party Day is today.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Let's do that.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
National Mimosa Day. So far, I'm loving these days. National
do something Good for your Neighbor Day, okay, National Bike
to Work Day, good day for it of all days?
Right with a transit strike in New Jersey. And National
Barbecue Day. Let the barbecue season begin, because after all,
Memorial Day weekend is what two weeks there?

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Next weekend?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
It's next weekend. Wow, yeah, where can we get some
good barbecue around here? By the way, I know we
have Virgils which Times Square.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yes, we love that. You're wonderful.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
But New Jersey, Connecticut, like.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
New Jersey folks, we have a good place near us.
It's called Mighty Quinns. Have you guys heard of that.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
One Northern New Jersey. Yeah, Mighty Quinns.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, I believe I've got the name right, Mighty Quinns.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
It's a right on Route three Clifton, Okay, while area.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Yeah, well Christian, you're closer to where I live.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yes, we have a good one right on thirty three.
And like the Monroe area. It's called what is it
called Bearded One Barbecue, and it looks like a food truck.
It sits on the side of the road and you
could see the smoke from the smoker and there's always
a line, always a line.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Very good sign.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Well, Jersey Shore Barbecue. They have one in Point Pleasant.
They have one near us in East Brunswick. That's pretty
good too. I'm a tab bit of a barbecue snob
because I lived in Houston, Texas for six years. We
had some of the best real you know you can
find Again, the Tri state area has it all, and
you can find some good authentic barbecue, but you can
also tell the difference if it's not kind of good

(13:38):
and authentic.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
What states are the most famous for barbecue? Then it's
would it be Texas?

Speaker 1 (13:42):
And off the top my head, I would have to
say Texas.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Yes, I think Austin's actually the number one city for
the best barbecue.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Look at this producer here, Kristin, pulling it.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Up as we speak.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Oh, would you like would you like the top ten list?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Okay? Well number one is Austin too, with San Antonio,
then Kansas City, Memphis, Charleston, South Carolina, Greenville, South Carolina,
Honolulu at number seven for Korean and Hawaiian style barbieko nice. Yeah,
Eight is Tulsa, nine is Durham, North Carolina, and ten

(14:16):
is Nashville.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Oh yeah, I've had a good barbecue in Nashville.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
But nothing around here.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
No.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Well, well, now again, shout out to Virgils, because when
I first moved here from Houston, somebody said, if you
want the closest authentic barbecue you can get in the
trictid area, you want to go there. And I've been
going there at least a couple of times a year
since nineteen ninety six.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, they're so good.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Yeah, but if you have a good local barbecue spot,
tell us about it at four four, three, six three,
hit us up on text. We have a crazy first date.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Next more Cobby and Christine in the morning, just ahead
on one six point seven Light at them.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
Is a little love in my life.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
It's Cobby and Christine Crazy first dates.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
All right, So Cobby, we're talking to Liz. Good morning Liz,
So tell us about your crazy first date. When did
it happen? How did you guys meet?

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Yeah, it was through a dating site called bumble.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Oh yes, well it's.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
That first message and he said that he liked, you know,
working out, and I like working out, so I thought, oh,
this could be fine. So we went to full cycle
and then he took a stealthy after the class and
he's so cute and he goes, I'm sending this to
my girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
What come on? Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (15:27):
No?

Speaker 4 (15:28):
And he didn't tell me any of this before the date,
and he goes, yeah, I told her I was going
with a workout friend to a soul cycle class and
I thought that was insane.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
It is I'm trying to understand like what he was thinking.
Do you know, did like he want to cheat on
his girlfriend or make her jealous?

Speaker 4 (15:46):
I guess. I mean I didn't want to be an
active participant in that again.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
After this man, But what did his dating profile say? Like,
was he what is he looking for?

Speaker 4 (15:55):
He said that he was looking for somebody that he
could have a fun time with, and I like with
and I thought, I want to enjoy life with somebody.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Well he left out with more than one person, so specific.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
And you know, we didn't really talk on the day
because we were just you know, cycling away and I thought, oh,
we'll get coffee after something, not after that selfie.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, so what did you say? Like? This doesn't vibe
with me? So I'm out of here.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
I didn't say anything. I was like, oh okay, and
then I kind of walked away and then kept walking.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Did you ever hear back from this guy?

Speaker 4 (16:30):
So he kept trying to press like on my Instagram
and followed me, which was a little insane to me,
and then would send me messages until I finally blocked him.
I just you know, I can have other likes not
from him, all right, will with you.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
The best of luck or maybe you're with somebody now.
Have things changed since that date?

Speaker 4 (16:49):
You know, I'm still dating away, hoping to find somebody
who will go to sew cycle with me.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
That doesn't you still have faith and bumble?

Speaker 4 (16:57):
Yes I do. I don't think it's umbles fault that
he's a jerk.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Right there, you go, exactly all right?

Speaker 1 (17:03):

We love excited people. You know. When we picked this
question off the air, we were talking yeah, and we
were thinking it's probably too easy.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
It's so easy. It's coffee.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
But people were saying, chew gum, yes, open the.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Windows, turn up the volume on the music.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
All great answers. But it was very simple. Just drink coffee.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Coffee to the rescue every time.

More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light.

and Christine has all your headlines. It's a busy day, Christine, It's.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
A good morning, Cubby. Well, yes, hundreds of thousands of
commuters can be affected by this this morning because New
Jersey transit train engineers did go on strike as of midnight.
So yes, there is bus service being provided, but it
can't accommodate all the commuters. This is when Governor Murphy
is saying, maybe work from home today Today would be

(19:20):
the day. Yeah, to look into that. Cassie Ventura expected
to take the stand once again today after being cross
examined by Sean Diddycombe's lawyers yesterday, the testimony being quite graphic.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
There.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
President Trump in the United Arab Emirates for the final
day of his Mid East tour. Here in New Jersey,
the New Jersey Health Department warning about a possible measles
exposure at Newark Airport, So please keep this in mind.
A traveler with measles was in Terminal B this past
Monday between twelve thirty and four pm. So if you

(19:55):
feel you were there and were exposed, it's good to
check with your doctor.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
YEA.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Not only checking with your doctor, but the Health Department
says call the doctor's office before you go and warn
them that you may have been exposed a lot to
think about.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
A lot, but you gotta be all prepared, right.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Absolutely, sports a lot to think about. Tonight, Nicks will
play the Celtics Game six at the Garden, and the
Subway Series gets underway, so the Mets and Yankees are
playing at Yankee Stadium at seven this evening. Okay, you're
invited to a wedding, and according to the experts, do
your spouse a favor and tell them they don't have
to go, because if it's a good friend of yours

(20:30):
and they don't know the other people, therapists say that
they may not feel so great about going, and you
might not enjoy yourself so much. They say it puts
a strain on the relationship when you force your partner
to attend an event that they don't want to go to.
You can have more fun at the wedding if you're
not worried about whether your partner is happy and having

(20:51):
a good time, and they get a night off.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
All right, I see that side of it, mm hmm.
But I also see answering a lot of questions. Oh, yeah,
you're at the wedding, Yeah, well, where's your partner? And like,
are there gonna be like people thinking there's red flags
going on?

Speaker 3 (21:04):
What do you think, Kristin, Well, when in my situation,
my husband would be like, Okay, I'll stay home, and
you know what, it saves us a babysitter.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Very true, and that's a built in excuse, right, we
need a babysitter.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
We are entering wedding season. Really yeah, pretty much May
all the way until early fall. Your weather for this
Friday gonna be cloudy today, maybe a couple of showers
around and maybe some peaks of sun, a little bit
of everything, and a high of seventy one.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
More Covey and Christine and a great music variety you
expect next on Light at Them, Christine, do.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
You feel bad for producer Kristen at all because she's
walking around the hallways here and people are giving her
a hard time taking some flack.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
But Kristin, you did make this choice this morning.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
I did.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
It is my fault, but I am getting picked on.
I'm a little upset.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
You are wearing a shirt and it says Boston Celtics
World Champions twenty three twenty four, right, yeah, because it
was a season of twenty three twenty four last season,
last season, right, I didn't think it was a big deal,
but apparently it is to wear the shirt. Well, I mean,
you're a Knicks country and there's a big game.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Tonight, so kind of course to Madison Square Gardens.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Yeah. Yeah, you know, I didn't really think we are
you trying to do remind people that you won the championship?

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Well just think case Boston loses tonight, because if they do,
then then that's it. They're done for the season. I
just wanted everyone to remember who the champions were last season.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
That's all it's working. Yeah, yeah, right right. But our
own dear Jim Kerr, who we love in a door,
was that was actually offended?

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, he was. I know, he got He got you
on the air over there. He put you on the
air talking him. He was. He was shocked.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
He's like, I didn't think that's what I saw, but
that's what I saw.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
So big sports night in the New York area. So
you have the Knicks taken on the Celtics. If the
Knicks win, they go to the Eastern Conference Finals. They're
up three games to two. Currently, Boston, playing without their
star player Tatum, still an uphill battle for the Celtics.
But I tell you what if they can force a
game seven, I.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Mean, then they go to Boston, then they.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Go to Boston, and then this could be like a
big turnaround for them. But yeah, and then you got,
of course, Juan Soto returning to the Bronx. He's now
a met and how many booze is he gonna hear?

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Boy?

Speaker 1 (23:19):
I think he said he feels like it's fifty thousand
against one because he knows he's going to hear it. Yeah,
but the Subway Series tonight Mets in Yankees. Yeah, that's exciting,
and I think it'll be pretty It's a lot of
booze and pretty awkward until like the third time at bat.
Then he'll feel like the Subway Series again. But it's
going to be all eyes on wan soda for that

(23:39):
first couple of times a bat, and then I think
it'll feel normal again. And then Christine is clearly ready
for football season, wearing a New Orleans Saints shirt. Yeah,
not really, but kind of.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Well, I'm wearing a hoodie from New Orleans. And I asked, you, guys,
who am I rooting for. I think Kristin had the
best answer. She said, the beignets. Yeah, yes I am.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
But it does have the Saints logo on it too.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Is that is that what that is?

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yes? Yes, that really is the Saints logo.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Oh I had no idea. Yes, that's what I'm wearing.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I thought this was well, we told you it wasn't
football season yet, but hey, go Saints.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Just thought it was a pretty shirt.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
It is a pretty shirt, you but.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
I didn't know that that really that's the Saints.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Okay, so go Saints.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Yes soon, are they training yet or anything?

Speaker 1 (24:34):
They're probably doing like voluntary mini camp maybe, but.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
No, the I follow that, so you know that's why
I wore this.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Yes, of course Saints. And how about three hours commercial free? Okay,
we'll kick off your workday coming up next, and go Nicks,
Go Yankees, go Mets, whoever you're rooting for. Chris and
Kristen said ghost Celtics. All right, more music next
