Speaker 1 (00:00):
Two people took pictures of me and my son as
I was exiting Home Goods and Marshals yesterday. I'll explain here.
It's Light FM, Cubby, Nina's and for Christine and producer Kristen.
So you know, for Mother's Day, we're getting mom something
from one of her favorite stores. Yes, TJ Max, Home
Goods are Marshals. So on Tuesday, I took my five
year old Naomi to TJ Max, Yes, and she picked
(00:22):
out three things. And Mom's not listening right now. So
I'll tell you a blouse, a little jewelry heart pendent.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
You sure she's not listening.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
No, she's not listening. Okay, now I don't. I don't
think my wife ever. Well, she might listen after eight okay, great,
And then and then a mug a snoop not snoop
dogg snoopy and it's his mom.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
On he kept the receipts and we kept the receipts and.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
The and the thing that Coco, my wife likes about this,
is because I'm not guiding them. I take them to
their favorite to her favorite store, and they pick out
something they think air quotes, they think Mommy will like.
Natomi actually did a pretty good job, I think. So
I takes to Home Goods Marshals yesterday. How did that go?
Myles is three years old? And uh, he went through
(01:06):
the whole store and I'm going to show you guys
the video of what he picked out and us leaving there.
You go, what is that? That is a huge statue
of a dinosaur.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Oh, that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
And that is what he picked out for mom.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
It's bigger than him.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
It was four hundred and fifty dollars. No, it wasn't.
It was on clearance too, it was normally six ninety nine.
Yeahow get out.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
That's look fantastic in your kitchen.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
We went through towels, we went through clothing, We went
through every aisle and I go, are you sure mommy
would want this? And he said yes so and so
I'm walking out of the store and people are like,
oh my gosh, that's a lucky boy. There I go,
this isn't for him. This is what he picked out
from mom from Mother's Day. And one lady went, oh
(01:54):
my gosh, I gotta get a picture of this. It's
too cute because he was in the cart. Yeah, the
dinosaur was in the cart. Yeah, And yeah too, people
like actually took pictures of us. That's funny. So mom
knows already because we couldn't hide this dinosaur. It was
so big. Yeah, and Mommy laughed. And then as Miles
like went to do something else, she goes, all right,
how do we return this? And that's something he's gonna remember.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Sale, can you take that bag?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
We can take it back.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Oh that's fantastic, But I'm worried about Miles in what
a couple of weeks be like, hey, remember that.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Dinosaurs the dinosaur, Well.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
We did kind of lay down the groundwork last night, like,
this is a pretty big dinosaur. Miles. Mommy loves it,
but I'm not sure if we have room for it.
We might have to take it back, and he went okay,
so it's in his mind. So that may be one
of my jobs today, going back to Home Goods and
Marshalls and returning a giant dinosaur. You saw this right,
it's like huge, It's bigger than being a museum. Yes, anyway,
(02:47):
are you gonna be uh, what are you doing for
Mother's Day?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
You're not a mom, but I already am taken care
of We've already taken care of it. Now I'm just
gonna call.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Just make a phone call, right, pretty easy because they're
from what they're Texas?
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, and uh, what are you expecting on Sunday? I
actually know we.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Have dinner reservations for the four of us, Yes, but
I don't know where we're going.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
So okay, Yeah, and what are you gonna do for
your mom?
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Well, we might do like coffee and dessert, or we
bought a gift, you know, the kids pick out something
for their Auela, that's what they call her. So but
she'll be spending it with one of my brothers, so
we'll see her later on in the day.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Okay, So all right, you're gonna get a nap in there?
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Buy better?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I hope you have like a whole day of naps
on so that would be amazing. All right, coming up,
we got three pretty cool thing pretty jeeze. Three pretty
cool things. Can you tell? It's Friday and a happy
Mother's Day weekend? Everybody Light FM, Mark.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
Cove and Christine coming your way on light at MS.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
It's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
It's three pretty cool things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I found this pretty cool mainly because I didn't really
think much about it. But there's only one letter that
doesn't appear in any American state name. Do you know
what letter does not appear in any state? Name? Q?
Boom Wait producer Kristen for the win Q. There's a
Z in Arizona and exent, Texas, but no Q in
(04:08):
any American state. There's your fun fact for the day.
There you go, Nina, what's your cool thing?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
We really like to stay close to our moms, I
mean our whole lives. Yeah, the average person American, the
average American person lives eighteen miles from their mother, and
only twenty percent of Americans live more than a couple
hours drive.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Yeah except for you.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
And you lived a long way from your mother too.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yeah. When my mom was alive, why, she lived in
Virginia Beach, where I grew up, So we were a
six hour drive away.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, my mother lives in Texas, which is far.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
That's a long drive.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, Kristin, you live near yours thirty five minutes.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
There you go, There you go, And what is your
cool thing?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
While we're at it, Lego has officially unveiled its next
new set, and it's the model of the Pixar mascot.
So the lamp, the Luxo lamp with the ball. That's
the new set that they're unvailing. It's six hundred and
thirteen pieces. It's going to be released June firs, Lego
dot Com at your local Lego store. It's going to
retail for sixty nine ninety nine.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
All right, Okay, who would have thought such a simple
logo that picks our logo right is now? It's huge, huge. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
That seems a lot of pieces for an affordable price.
I will say I agree with you. Yes, Yeah, Legos
are expensive but fantastic and fun.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
H More Covey and Christine and the great music variety
you expect next on light at them.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
We have a new Pope. You know, it's been really
fascinating to watch this for the last several days because
even though we know the process and the whole smoke
thing and then the balcony after that, we kind of
forget because it didn't happen very much. So were you
kind of glued to the TV yesterday? Like I was
watching it all.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Happen, glued to the TV. It's so fascinated.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
As soon as I saw they had a pope, like
my phone went off, I'm like, I gotta turn the
TV on and I got to watch this.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Yeah, it was just so cool, right, it was very cool.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Pope Leo the fourteenth, pretty fascinating prope Leo.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Who his you know? They interviewed his brother on TV. Yes,
his brother's from Chicago. His brother said, when they were kids,
you know, people would want to play, you know how
you want to play the kid games and stuff. He
would always want to play priest.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Really, that's great.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
He would take out the ironing board. You'd have to
like play you're going to mass in the living room,
that sort of thing. So he's always been like about
church and being a priest. Right, kind of an odd idea,
but it worked worked out.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Pretty amazing, our first American pope. And the memes have
been pretty funny. The one I just saw was Dub
Hope because he's from Chicago, Dub Bears.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Have we heard you speak English yet? We have not?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, some people brought that up during his big statement
yesterday on the balcony. He kicked it off in Latin,
of course, as expected, and then then Italian in Spanish
but no English, and some people like, huh, that's interesting.
But I don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
I think he's going to deliver his first Mass this week.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
He just did it this morning. It was this morning
in the wrong times. But we don't know what language.
I don't know that was going to be my Yeah,
I was probably Italian. I think they do Italian at home.
You know.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Are you happy with the pick produce of Christen yesh?
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yeah, it was a surprise. I think I think a
lot of a lot of people thought that. I don't
think anyone thought it was going to be an American pope.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Like the odds were like, if you want to bet
on these things zero point six percent. You were saying, yeah, yeah, you.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Believe it or not?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
People do bet Oh. Yeah, I was a fand.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Hope dual. It seems so sacrilegious.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
To draftings and yeah, you were blessed by a pope, Kristen,
I was, yeah, that is cool.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Yeah, Pope John Paul the second.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
Now, when did this happen.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
This happened back in two thousand and two. I was
fourteen years old. I went to World Youth Day Toronto.
It was in Toronto. So every four years, I believe
every three years or four years they do this and
it's where all of the youth groups or most of
the youth groups throughout the world gather and it's just
this big Catholic gathering and you get to meet other youths,
(07:41):
you know in the church, and the Pope is usually there.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Did you know you were gonna get blessed or was
it more of like if you're there and it happens great.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
No, it happened to be.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
We attended atment No, no, yeah, I'm not an app
We attended the masks that they had for the event,
and it just so happened that our group we camped
out because everybody has to camp out right at the barriers,
and they had the.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Popemobile go by.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Yeah, it stopped and he looked in our direction and
and he did the sign of the Cross, and he
put his hand, you know, above us. And how do
you feel it? You know you feel stuff like that? Sure,
you know if you believe it obviously, which I do.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yeah. Look, lord, look you ended up at LIGHTFM the nmer.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Less it worked.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
More Cubby and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light them.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
This is amazing but really weird. One of six point
seven light a FM, Cubby and Nina del Rio. We
got producer Kristen. Have you heard about the Aussi twins.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Oh, I have heard about the Aussie twins.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
This is really really odd.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
They're out.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
So the Aussi twins have gone viral. They're from Australia obviously,
and two ladies, Paula and Bridget Bridget and they are
identical twins, and they went viral because they witnessed a
crime in Australia and a news crew went out and
you know, interviewed them with the crimes.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
On the street recording.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
But they talk in sync, like together in unison. Check
this out.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
We said, oh no, I'm not the car accident. So
we drop everything and we went running out to the front.
We say, mom running from the house out there, and
then another cars were pulling out and checking to see
if the person was okay. And one guy he was
up there with our mom.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
So this is not a bit like this is how
they talk.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
They talk that way all the time apparently.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yeah, and it's mind blowing to me. I wonder if
anybody out there who's listening that has identical twins, or
maybe friends of identical twins, if they're known to do this.
I mean, I know they think a lot sometimes and
they might do the same mannerisms. But this is like
in unison.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yes, it's very bizarre. It's like one is just a
hair behind the other one. But if you try and
do it with someone, you can't be that tight if
you don't know what the next person's gonna say.
Speaker 3 (09:59):
It's is that even is a thing? That's I've never
heard this before.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
So after the interview, well that you know on the
spot interview went viral. They were they did a real
interview with Good Morning Britain and they were talking all
about this.
Speaker 8 (10:13):
This interview with you went viral because people watching can't
believe it when they see the way that you speak together.
So just explain for those who are new to the
experience of meeting you, your extraordinary connection that means you
speak in unison.
Speaker 9 (10:33):
Yeah, we know that we annoy a lot of people
out there, but we tell people they don't like us
just witch the TV because we have tried to talk
separately and it very it's very harbulous.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
We're not ourselves unreal.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Even their tone is the same, like the way they
say certain words.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Yes, wow.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
And you brought up a great point, Nina, do you
think if they're separate.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
If there's what happens when they're separate.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
If one's at dinner, like at a restaurant or ones
at home having dinner. Are they do they know when
they're speaking? I doubt it, But do they know.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
What the other one's ordering? Imagine if you're married, Are
they married? Is one like you know?
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yeah? So I don't know about that. I do know.
They are their upper forties, Paula and Bridget Powers, and
they're known as the Aussie twins. Yes, and uh yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Don't do anything as separate. They gotta go to the
bathroom separately. They gotta go to the dentist separately, don't they.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
It's mind below.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
They're wearing this, and they're wearing the same clothes, which
is of course amazing, and they're like women around fifty,
we're in the same clothes.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Yeah, and I'm sure they do many things separately. But
when they're together and they're talking.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
And they work together too. By the way, they have
like a bird sanctuary or something. Okay, yeah, they know that,
so they that's why you heard goose honking in the
background where they are geese honking while they were having
their interview.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Well, we have an amazing producer, producer Kristen, I'm sure
you can book them in the next couple of weeks.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Oh my gosh, fantastic.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
It's got to be fully booked, don't you think.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Well, they're catching fire right now. They've they've been viral
for two weeks and now it's kind of you know,
they're doing all the talk shows now, so we shall see.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
It's Covey and Christine's crazy first date.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Hey, Christine, we're talking to Nicole.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Hey to Cale, So tell us when your crazy first
date happened.
Speaker 10 (12:21):
Okay, So I met this five years ago on one
of the dating apps, and we ended up talking a
lot on the phone before we met, and like he
was awesome. So we went to a comedy show for
a first date. It was like we had so much
a great conversation after the show, of course, not during
in my phone. Like his name was funny, cute Jason,
(12:41):
so like he was definitely he had all the things
going for him. So we both had these cute little
dogs and we were going to have like a second
date of like a little dog date. And I was
just like super excited about it. And so when we
left the comedy show, like he walked into my car,
he kissed me good night, like every indication that we
(13:03):
would be going out again, right, I texted him like
a couple of times, and I didn't want to be
like needy or whatever. He just never contacted me again,
and I was devastated. I was really upset. So I
went online like a few months later just to like
see if he was engaged or whatever, because that's how
that works usually. But it said that like in memoriam,
(13:25):
like he passed away like right after our date.
Speaker 11 (13:28):
What yeah, yeah, Like I.
Speaker 10 (13:32):
Wish for like months thinking like it was me. I'm
like what if I do you know what about me?
Speaker 2 (13:37):
And like, yeah, did you ever find out what happened?
Speaker 10 (13:39):
I think it was a boating accident and like I
don't know, it wasn't like there wasn't a whole lot
about it, but I don't know, Like that was like
the most like connection that I'd had on a dating app.
So it was it was really rough.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
I'm so sorry, Nicole.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
This how many years ago?
Speaker 10 (13:58):
Was this? By the way, Oh, this is about like
eight years ago, So like I'm with somebody else now
that I met in real life.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Pope Leo the fourteenth has celebrated his first Mass as
leader of the Roman Catholic Church. He has deep roots
in the Chicago area, born there in nineteen fifty five
and raised in the suburbs with his two brothers. The
Department of Defense is moving quickly to remove about one
thousand transgender service members from the military, giving them thirty
days to leave or be forced out. New Jersey transit
(16:34):
train riders are one week away from dealing with a
major disruption, with engineers threatened to go on strike next Friday,
and the jury will be seated today in the sex
trafficking trial of music mogul Sean Diddy Combs. In sports,
the next play the Celtics Game three here at Madison
Square Garden tomorrow at three thirty pm.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
That is a big game. Can they go up three
to Oh?
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Oh, that'd be a thing, man.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I know producer Kristen doesn't want that.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
No, definitely don't.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
But now they're at home. They got the force behind them,
a little bit, the crowd behind them, so you.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Know, and I want everybody to know that producer. Christen's
a fantastic person.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
So thank you, even though she's rooting for Boston.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Because yeah, they might hear this on the radio and
go like, oh, she's a Boston Celtics fan.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
I know, well, I'm a Jets fan. I'm a Mets fan.
I'm a Rangers fan.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
I know you told me, But how'd you become a
Celtics fan?
Speaker 3 (17:22):
I just started liking the Celtics around probably like I
don't know, six, between six and oh eight, Paul Pierce,
Kevin Barnett.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Yeah, so you never gravitated towards the Brooklyn Nets or
the New Jersey Nets or the New York Knicks.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
It was the New Jersey Nets at first.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Yeah, all right, Well, hope your team goes down.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Man more Covey and Christine and the great music variety
you expect next on light FM.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
You want a six point seven light FM, It is Covey,
Christine's on vacation. My co host is very upset she's
missing this. It feels like nineteen ninety seven right now,
ninety eight degrees, and that's when I met you. It
was ninety seven June of ninety seven. Song called Invisible Man. Yeah, Nick,
how's it feel to be back? It's a full circle,
isn't it? It is full circle.
Speaker 11 (18:05):
It's funny invest that, Yeah, it's it's it's full circle.
And ironically today our album Full Circle comes out.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Yeah, it's out today.
Speaker 11 (18:12):
So yeah, it's been a wild ride, man, but we're
just I think we feel so blessed.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
It just still be on it. Fifteen million albums worldwide,
I mean, it's unbelievable what you've accomplished since nineteen ninety seven.
And tell us about the Full Circle And this is
a new songs and rerecorded songs, correct.
Speaker 13 (18:28):
Yeah, it's a combination. So it's five and five five
rerecorded songs. So, like you mentioned, visible man, hardest thing
I do in a note, Chay, and because of you,
are the five that we decided to re record. And
how'd you pick those five? We just kind of went
with the ones that had the most success. We figured
those are the ones that the people would want to
hear the most, so and those are also some of
our favorites, you know, So we did those and then
(18:51):
we also have five brand new originals you know that
are that are you know coming out? We had got
you that already came out earlier in the year. We
have Stranger Things that we just kind of surprise released
the other day.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
We love that song we heard. The first time we
heard that, we're like, this song needs to go on
our new record. We were just starting to think about
the new record and Johnny Wright, who's our manager now,
he presented that.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
To us and we're like, man, this is really cool.
Right yeah. Did you feel pressure, you know, redoing these songs?
I mean, because sometimes the originals are all you need.
It was hard.
Speaker 11 (19:22):
Yeah, Our goal was to make them sound as closely
as we could to the originals, and which is which is?
We found trickier than, you know, than we thought because
our voices have changed. The way we sing has changed,
certainly the way we sang on a Visible Man in
nineteen ninety six.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, it was recorded in ninety six, right right, yeah,
sham ninety.
Speaker 11 (19:40):
It was literally literally the first song we recorded once
we signed with Motown. We came here to New York
Hit Factory and recorded that song end it ull being
our first single. But yeah, so it is true it
was trickier to kind of try and match how those
songs sounded back in the day.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Now it was important for us to preserve the way
they originally sounded, because throughout the years, we like, you know,
how many times have you been to a concert and
then you want to go hear the hits and then
because the artist sings them all the time, they start
flipping the melody and adding different runs interpretations to the song.
People don't like that. So we, you know, we said,
let's people like these songs the way they were for
(20:14):
a reason. Let's try to preserve the integrity of the
way they sounded. What's fan reaction been so far?
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Incredible?
Speaker 14 (20:20):
I mean, we're so lucky to have the best fans
in the entire universe. They continue to show up. I
mean somehow they still know where we're going to be,
and uh, it's it's been incredible, and I think, you know,
our whole you know, career has been about, you know,
making memories and being the soundtrack of people's lives. And
to just hear the stories and the impact that our
(20:40):
music has had on people is as truly a great thing.
Speaker 11 (20:43):
But it goes without saying I mean it's kind of cliche,
but it literally is only possible because the fans still
come out and support and are there for us.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Cliche that's a cliche.
Speaker 11 (20:53):
I like that, but yeah, but I mean literally, if
they don't show up and they don't support and then
we don't get to still do we love to do,
which is uh, you know, which is sing together.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
What's the craziest thing a fan has done to get
your attention Morning Radio? No, I think it pretty much.
Speaker 13 (21:12):
You can imagine it. It's probably pretty much happened.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Hey, Nick, you know you've been all over our TV
screens right with Sorry about that. Yeah, So yeah, Love
is Blind also a season five winner of the Mass
Singer You were let me see your piglet. That's right,
you're a piglet. That was is Yeah, that was my
finest hour. That was that experience dress as a Uh.
Speaker 11 (21:32):
It was awesome because it was shot during COVID, so
we weren't able to tour, weren't able to sing, and
it was honestly it was. It was kind of a
release to be able to perform on a stage and sing.
Definitely challenging to sing with all that stuff on and overheating,
and and.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Also you had to be careful walking in each day right.
Speaker 11 (21:49):
Well, you know you're in full like visors and swell
shirts and so yeah, I didn't know they're not playing around.
I didn't know who else was on on the season.
It became kind of a little bit of a guessing game,
is like, who am I competing against? It I knew
is every time I show up on set, it just
reeked of weed.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
So I thought maybe maybe Snoops on this season, but
ended up being whizk. So oh yeah, that makes sense. Yeah,
but it was. It was a lot of fun.
Speaker 11 (22:10):
And my kids that that was there, that was their thrill,
you know. Yeah, they've they've never been as happy to
see or hear Dad sing as when I was a pig.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
That's great. I got that and Drew you know a
thing or two about winning. She's in two Winter of
Dancing with the Stars. Yeah, nineteen years ago. Wow, that's unbelievable.
But more recently, you hosted Date my House. Oh yeah, yeah,
tell us about this. So I've I've kind of expanded,
you know, my my skill set. I do home renovations,
a lot of stuff around the house, and so it's
become this thing where like all my friends will will
(22:39):
call me up and actually on Date my House. I
went to Justin's house and we tackled a couple of
projects together. So yeah, so I have this whole thing
about you know, you can drew it yourself. How do
you do?
Speaker 10 (22:50):
Jay?
Speaker 1 (22:51):
He did good?
Speaker 14 (22:51):
He did Yeah, you know, quite frankly, we needed all
the help we can get.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
I still on a return trip to figure some of
the things. I still have a pool them to look at.
So nothing but a couple of months, right, Drew's a
typically unreliable contract, as it has been. Back to finish
the job well again. Ninety degrees is here. The album
Full Circle is out as we speak. Get it anywhere
right anywhere, anywhereere anywhere and tell you about what's going
on tomorrow Saturday. You have a You're gonna meet some people,
(23:18):
I believe. Yeah, yeah we have.
Speaker 11 (23:19):
We're actually doing an album signing at Barnes and Noble
here in the city. So yeah, it's exciting to you know,
that's kind of a nod back to the old days
when you actually went to the record store and you like, hey,
do we do autographs the record store?
Speaker 1 (23:31):
A lot of fun.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
I think everybody misses that stuff, and it's not just
our generation. I mean, you see, like the gen zs
and millennials they kind of missing that experience. I mean
you have the streaming stuff, you have radio, but you
don't have those experiences like you used to. So this one,
I mean, you know, it's sold out in a matter
of minutes because people were kind of craving that.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
And it's not just like I said, our our age range.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
It's a lot of the younger people looking for those
experiences that their parents had and their grandparents had and
that we grew up with.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
So it's exciting for us.
Speaker 11 (23:58):
Yeah, lining up outside of you know Tyer req is
at midnight the night you know, waiting for the new release.
I mean there was something there was something romantic about
that we couldn't.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Hear it until then too, decided to get it at
twelve oh one and put it in the CD play. Yeah,
bring those days back.
Speaker 14 (24:10):
Yeah, let's just having a physical product, you know, like
the like lots of pictures. You know, it was a
lot we were a lot more invested back in the
old days, and it's cool to see things come back
to them.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
Nick Drew, Jeff justin ninety eight degrees get the new
album Full Circle. Thank you for talking about that.
