Speaker 1 (00:00):
To six point seven LIGHTFM. Good morning Jack and Christine,
producer Christian, and we want to know how the roof
is coming along with Christiane. By the way, I didn't
want to tell you, but Archie is still clinging to
your jacket.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah, my cat, you didn't notice that.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
But he's not letting go.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
No, we were. We were very tight yesterday. He didn't
want to leave my side. And thank you for asking. Yes,
roofing project at my house. And really I thought like
a person was going to land inside the house, because
that's how it sounds good.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Then movies all the time, some guy coming through the roof.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Hell, I need them to be safe because it does
look really scary to me. The guys who are out
there are doing some incredible work. But yeah, no rest
for the weary, because wow, that just comes through the
house scars my catch windy too.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
I don't know if I'd want to be doing.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I don't know if they can work. I'm sure they
can't work if it stays really windy. It's supposed to
calm down.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
All right, And how you doing of your Christmas decorations.
I know that one of your one of your children
does not want the Halloween stuff to come down.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah, the tubs are out the box for the tree,
because we you know, we have a fake tree that's out.
They're all out, but the decorations are not up yet.
I'm getting there. This is late for me, it is,
but you're.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Being influenced by a younger one.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Well, you know, I also have a sick child. And
oh well it's busy.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yes, you're a mom. There's no time for anything.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
Cobby and Christine back in a moment on one o
six point seven. Light at them. Pretty cool, it's three
pretty cool things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Christy mentioned in the news the twenty twenty five Rockefeller
Center Christmas Tree is getting cut down today eight o'clock.
I didn't realize that you could actually go and watch
them cut it down. This is at the Old Mill
Road in East green Bush, New York, ren Saler up
by the Capitol. It's on its way to New York
City's going to arrive in the Plaza on Saturday. This

(01:53):
tree about seventy five years old, being donated by the
Russ family. We saw a picture on Google Maps of
its still garage. Looks like it's about ready to take
out the garage so I can see why if you
want to watch it cut down, it's gonna be a
little tough. If you leave from Manhattan it's three hours. Yeah,
and they're cutting it down, and then you'll make that flat.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
You won't make it, sorry, but you can make it
to Starbucks today. This is not a drill, people. Today
is the day that we have the release of Starbucks
new Holiday cups. So we get the drink menu, but
we get that special merchandise. We've talked about this before,
the berry stuff. It's adorable. People may be lining up

(02:34):
at their local Starbucks to get it. They can't tell
you ahead of time how much merch they have, but
you have to try when when the store opens. And
also the Hello Kitty line is debuting today. So yes,
we are forming a plan as we speak. Jack producer
Kristen is my partner in Starbucks Crime. I would say,

(02:55):
but we're not going to steal anything. We want to
buy it. So you're gonna run over because I'm told
they're not putting merch out until seven am.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
So at seven now there you're you're sending everybody. You
should just say, we have a plan. We'll let you
know after we get the cops.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Well back to that. See, Okay, we're gonna try. We're
gonna try, but we'll keep you posted.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
We'll tell you what.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Our plan is going to be some elbow and yeah,
gonna be some elbow.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
And let's not out altogether.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Okay, good idea.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Okay, So, guys, are you ready for this? Kate Pop
Demon Hunters right, all the rage, all the kids, were
all the characters this Halloween. It's coming out with a sequel,
K Pop Demon Hunters two. Yeah, not till twenty twenty nine. No,
what Yeah, we have to wait a little bit. But
you know what, how are you gonna beat out this soundtrack?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Like these like these songs are gonna still be interested
in twenty twenty nine? You want to hear? So? Okay, yeah,
all right, I just downloaded the iHeart app. Let's give
it a play. Were go? Come on, Christine is getting down.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
It's a good song.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
It is, so I've heard it.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I'm just how are you going to beat that out?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
It's gonna be tough?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, but twenty twenty nine, we have to wait that long?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Why?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Sorry, guys?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Twenty nine? Yeah, I thought the Starbucks cups are going
to be.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Tough more Covey and Christine and the great music variety
you expect next on Light at.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
That Jack Christine producer Christin one six point seven Light FM,
Good morning, Thank you for having us. Why do you
have your coat on? I'm just curious.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I'm on a mission, Jake.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
It's not even seven o'clock and you look like you're
ready to go.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Well, you know she does plan to come back though.
Now this is important. Yes, you know, we've got big
issues to tackle here. I talked about this in Three
Pretty Cool Things. Starbucks holiday menu starts today. The merch
drop is today. We're talking Hello Kitty and the Barrista. Now,
I had a divide and conquer plan going my friends

(04:50):
Sabrina and they're in on this. They're going to their
local Starbucks. They asked, yesterday, will you guys have the cups?
They said yes. They were told to come back at
seven am because the merch doesn't go out till seven.
Sabrina just went to two Starbucks. They're already sold out,
not even seven though, it's not even seven and it's
already sold out.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah. I checked in with my daughter, she works at Starbucks.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
So yeah, that would help Jack. She could put a
couple aside.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
But she's sleeping now, so I don't want to wake her.
Do you want me to really like because the ringer
is off? I mean, she's sleeping.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I don't want to put her in a bad mood.
I want her to help me.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
They might be sold out by the time she gets
to work.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
And she already said that. No, my wife said that.
You think that. They said that, you're going to take
off now.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
There's there's one right down the block.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Okay, I'm going to go now, all right, not too long.
I'll take a Pike's peak.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I'm thinking, okay that you know this is you know,
corporate area, very business.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
That's right. There's not a lot of people walking around.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
They just want their coughing.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
They don't need barriasters or hello, I don't even know
this is going on.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, go be right.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Thank you, Kristin more Covey and Christine and the great
music Variety. You expect next on light.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
At them, Good morning, Jack and Christine. Christine sent the
producer Kristen out in the dark. I hope she comes back.
Hope she's okay, Christine. But that's okay.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Let everyone knows she volunteered. She volunteered. It's still dark, guy,
I know I concerned.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Grammys are coming out, Yes they are.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
We get Grammy nominations, so yes, producer Kristen is looking
for the Starbucks Berry stock cup for me. Thank you, Kristin.
We'll check back with her. She's out on the street
on the scene. But yes, Grammy nominations tomorrow, Jack and
what I find interesting here as a Taylor Swift fan
and many people are her album The Life of a
show Girl is not eligible for a Grammy nomination this.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Year just because of the K pop stuff.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
First, No, it's because of when it was released. It
had to have been released between August thirty first of
twenty four and August thirtieth of twenty five. Taylor's album
came out October third, and it's the first time since
she's seventeen years old.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, that she.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Doesn't have an album that's eligible for a Grammy and
is not submitting for the Grammy. She hasn't done that
since she.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
And she plans things out. Do you think she did
this on purpose or this was not a priority. The
album was a priority.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
What do you think the album was a priority. Yes,
she's very specific about. Oh, she knows everything, her dates
and numbers and all those things. I guess the next year, right,
she would be eligible next year.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I believe so. I mean, I'm not on the Grammy
no board.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
You're not gonna not to vote.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
I wish we could, well I could.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
But I just yeah, we know our music, Yeah we do.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
We know our tailor as well. I think she's coming
up a little later.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light FM.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
One of six point seven light FM. Good morning, Jack
and Christine, and she's back. Producer Christen May. Yes, she's alive.
I'm happy about that. Christine's happier.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
And yeah, my marathon run.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Make out.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
This is real.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
You went to five Starbucks in ten minutes, which is
not hard to do.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Okay, I went to a couple of blocks from each other.
I was somewhat successful.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Yes, say you were. So. The mission, should you choose
to accept it, was to go to the Starbucks this morning.
And the big takeaway today is the Barista Cup, which
is being released today Starbucks Holiday menu. They've got these
special bear shaped cups for cold drinks and a Hello
Kitty line that also of merchandise that dropped today, and

(08:34):
we were told by all the Starbucks like, get there
when we open because they're going to sell out. So
we have a couple of my friends who went already
sold out. Kristen went out on a mission.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I did, and we did pretty well here.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I think you did really well.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I think so. So the main thing was the bear, right,
they're already up.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Well, you know what, I wasn't sent.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
To buy lemony. This was not lemon cake mission. Sorry,
I know you did, but we have a goal here.
We have to stay hyper focused.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yes, Unfortunately, the bear sold out at both Starbucks locations.
At six a m. They were gone. However, I did
find a Hello Kitty tumbler, which is super cute. Yes,
and the Hello Kitty coffee mug you want, that's the
one that I would.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Yes so much. You're welcome, Kristen, And you said these
were the last in the store.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
These were the last and the first story I went to.
When I went to the second location, I think more
people were like, oh wait, something's happening, And there.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Were really.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Absolutely absolutely they were about eight to nine people hovering
over the wall and they all had them in their hands.
So I tried to do like a look around and
to see and everything was gone. So I was happy
I was able to get those.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
I did have to fight a guy for it, but
you know what, Yeah, your elbows a little stuff.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
If I would have walked in like five seconds later,
I wouldn't have had these cups.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
You're a man in, Kristin, thank you, you're Christine.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
I am totally absolutely, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (10:05):

Speaker 3 (10:48):
From the eighties.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
All right, here we go. Let's if we can play it.
It's not playing, why not try one more time?

Speaker 2 (11:00):

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah, it sounds like something from Top Guns. Anyway, let's
play one more time? Two two, one O six seven.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
More Cubby and Christine and the great music variety you

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Are six point seven light FM. Good morning's Jack In
for Cubby. We have Christine producer Kristin. Thanks for having
a san. I have good news. All the candy is
gone from our house, Thank goodness. I mean, where did
you go? Oh, you're looking at it. You're looking at
the disposal point right now.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
So just going to share a little info with you
from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. How many how
much working out you have to do to burn off
your Halloween candy treats?

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Now?

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Jack?

Speaker 2 (12:54):
I brought in some butterfingers, right they're gone there?

Speaker 1 (12:57):
How many back?

Speaker 2 (12:58):
One fun size? Those were the those little butter fingers.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Little tiny ones.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Okay, you need to swing a kettle bowl for about
twenty one minutes.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Swing a cat. Is there another option? No, that's it.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
That's all you. Gottle starts swinging away a fun sized Snickers.
It's about one hundred and sixty calories, fifteen minutes of
push ups to burn one of those babies.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Fifteen minutes a push up minutes? How many one?

Speaker 1 (13:23):
How many one?

Speaker 2 (13:26):
One is an accomplishment for me. Forget this. They'd beloved
peanut butter cup. Ese's peanut butter cup. You have to
jump rope for nearly half an hour just to burn
off one of those guys.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Wow, I would trip up one peanut butter cup.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Twigs the pairing of caramel chocolate classic hard to resist.
Each fun sized twigs bar eighty calories, eight minutes, eight
minutes of fox jumps to work those off. In fox jumps,
those are okay?

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
And the last I've got here as an example is
in you think they're harmless, they're little guys. You've got
to walk seven minutes on a treadmill at a five
percent incline for one of the little snack size bags
of Eminem's.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
That's doable.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
That's the least harmfuss.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
That's doable. And you know what the best thing is,
you can eat them while you're on the track, so
you can get you like it stays neutral, Nothing happens more.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Covey and Christine and the Great Music Variety you expect
next on light at them well.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Six point seven light at FM. Time for headlines, Christine Naggy.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
And Good Morning Jack. Some Senate Republicans saying they think
a deal to end the government shutdown could be close.
Fingers crossed right. We're at day thirty seven here, the
longest in history. Senate Majority Leader John Thune said a
mini funding package that could end that could get bipartisan
support is nearing completion. He met with Democratic negotiators last

(14:49):
night in an effort to find a solution. In the meantime,
we're giving a heads up that we may see a
slow down at area airports beginning tomorrow morning because there's
not enough STAF. United Airlines say they will refund customers
who now don't want to fly because of the impending
federal flight restrictions FAA cutting ten percent of flights in

(15:10):
US airspace again starting tomorrow morning. They're not saying which airports,
but we have very busy airports in this area, so
likely to happen here. Governor elects Mikey Cheryl in New
Jersey says she'll declare a state of emergency to freeze
utility costs as soon as she takes office in January,
President Trump saying that Democratic Socialist mayor elects Zoe Run

(15:31):
Mamdani should be nicer to him. Trump called Mandannie's victory
speech angry, especially towards him. President, adding he felt Mom
Donnie should be nicer because he's the one who has
to approve a lot of things for the nation's largest city.
We have a chance at the power Bowl and the
Mega Millions jackpots once again. Nobody won the power Ball.
That's four hundred sixty seven million. The Mega Millions now

(15:53):
at eight hundred forty three million. And it looks like
the New York City Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is just
about being chopped down. Gonna be here soon, East Greenbush.
It's coming down this morning. The Russ family is donating.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
People can watch that. There are people up there watching.
You get like they're like like when they watch the
balloons getting blown on. I didn't realize you could do that.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
I mean, it's somebody's property, but friends and family, neighbors.
Maybe Sports basketball, the nicksbeat the Timberwolves one thirty seven
one fourteen, Nets defeated the Pacers one twelve, one oh three,
and we've got Thursday Night football Raiders play the Broncos
at eight fifteen. And finally, the list is in the
most Popular Baby Names for twenty twenty five. Once again.

(16:35):
This year, Noah and Olivia top the list. Liam and
Oliver follow closely behind for boys, Amelia and Sophie for girls. Meanwhile,
names like Blake and Justin have dropped in popularity. Boy
names ending and why such as Vinnie, Grady, Murphy Cody
are also we're seeing that they're trending out.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Okay, yes, Liam has been on that list for quite
some time.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Yeah, Liam's are always popular. Noah, Olivia, we see those.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Names and Jagr and Bau. You're not not on that
list now. Yeah, kids would.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Say probably yeah, no, there that's unique, and I think
they'll appreciate that down the line.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
That's truly, I really will.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on Light at that.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
Six points even Light of Him, Good morning, it is
a Jack and Christine producer Kristen and uh. We have
a special day today, well every.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Day, like there are special days, right, Today's National Basketball Day, yes, okay,
National Nacho's Day, which we'd love to celebrate. But most
importantly Jack, it's national men make dinner day.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Thank goodness, it's not your day today. We've got ideas.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
I was going to ask you, what do you plan
on making?

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Then Marie, calendar five minutes and then stir, really recover
and put back in for two minutes.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
How's that going to go over? Your wife is really good.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
She's a really good cook. And uh, you know what,
I wasn't there this morning because I would get stuck
with breakfast. I'm the breakfast person in our house. Okay,
she's the dinner person.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
You're the short order cook.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
I'm the short order cook.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
And she does the masterpiece.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
She does the master I can make blueberry pancakes.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Oh well for dinner. That wouldn't be so bad.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
No, it really wouldn't. I make omelets I can do.
You know.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
This is a bonus prize.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Yeah, I'm saying that now because both of you have
had breakfast. So I don't do anything here. Hey, Christine,
we got something to give away, don't we, Yes, we do.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
We've got a pair of tickets to see Circus Vosquez
