really quick. And and yes, he was just very, very
happy to be home. He was so cut off from
the world that he didn't realize there is a new
Tailor Swift album on the way. Oh my goodness, how
(01:46):

Speaker 6 (02:53):
You said, well, because it has the logo on it,
which means something else though.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, that's just the overall New Orleans logo. It happens
to be the Saints logo the football team as well.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Sure, but that's why I bought it.
Speaker 1 (03:04):

Cool thing sometimes is weather or planets or something. I
picked a solar system one. The planet Neptune has the strongest.
What of our solar system, the planet Neptune. If you're
on the planet Neptune, you would be feeling the strongest.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
What a magnetic pull?
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Strongest wind? The average wind speed around the planet of
Neptune is fifteen hundred miles an hour.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Might get blown away.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Could you imagine your skirt, Christine?
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, flying everywhere fifteen hundred miles an hour on the
planet of Neptune.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
I lost my skirt outside of Mamma Mia. By the way,
what was just in a side.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Bury the headline you lost your skirt?
Speaker 4 (04:43):
I had it?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Do you know?
Speaker 4 (04:44):
We went to see Mama Mia with our listeners last weekend.
I kind of remember we three pretty cool things because
it's not cool and I was standing over the subway

it's good to say, yeah, that was happening.

ten o'clock in the morning. But Broadway Week is actually
September eighth through September twenty first. Awesome, so you have
(05:33):

and nice don't wear one or don't wear one, wear pants.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Wear pants slacks? Yes, all right, Kristen, what's up?
Speaker 3 (05:47):
I don't know how to follow that.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
I really don't, you know how Krispy Kreme's always coming
up with cool different themes right for their donuts. They
are targeting Harry Potter fans. Now they're launching the Houses
of Hogwarts collect on August eighteenth. The doughnuts are inspired
by all four of the Hogwarts houses. So Gryffindor is
gonna be filled with cookie butter cream dipped in red icing,
(06:09):
Slytherin will be topped with chocolate and green butter cream
flavored swirls. Hufflepuff is filled with brown buttered toffee flavored
custard dipped in golden yellow icing, and raven Claw is
topped with a blueberry flavored icing with blue sprinkles. There
is a fifth donut. It's the sorting Hat donut, and
(06:30):
that's going to be a surprise flavor.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Oh how cute?
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah, I like that. So Harry Potter fans M.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Okay, We're back to.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
The skirt, Christine, and I'm like, just the skirt. I'm
gonna find the footage of that head up a building.
You in your find the surveillance camera right.

one of six point That hurts right?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
No ouch? What if you said that to me if
you walked in the studio.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
That's only if you had hurt me and I had
to get you back. I think that's what that is.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Kind of Yeah, man, that's a powerful song. Yeah, Cubby,
Christine producer Christen, you like that song, Kristen, I do.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Yeah, it's fun.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
You're not in your head like like what like don't
say that, ady, like, don't say to anybody yeaheah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Would you ever say to somebody sorry, I'm here for someone.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
I think I'm good, I think where I'm at.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Hey, So Christine gave me this list non American things
that would we would highly recommend to Americans. These are
things that are non American. Uh, that the other world
people are doing.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Does that makes sense?
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Yes, other world people, people from other planets.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Well, I mean, look, we're all in this world together.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Oh you're still on Neptune, aren't you.
Speaker 7 (07:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
I did a whole story about Neptune and about ten
minutes ago. But if you don't do international travel, you know,
this may come as a shock, but a lot of
stuff is similar in other countries, but there are plenty
of things that are different.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
And they're saying Americans, this is good stuff. You should
try this.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Right, Like month long vacations, yeah together.
Speaker 4 (08:09):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
I have a friend that does radio in Dubai. His
name is Chris Fade, and every August, all of August
they're off, like right, the last two weeks have been
posting like flying places, they're off all of August and
they're paid and they're paid.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah. I mean technically we could do that, guys, but
we'd burn our vacation for the year.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Right, put it all together, and what do you get not? Yeah,
not everybody gets that much time?
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Right? Taxes included in the price tag. That's a big
deal over there in Europe.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Well, yes, plus the service fees and the tips when
you get your check. Usually it's all built in, right,
which is nice.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
I do like gratuity built in. Yeah, yes, don't you
feel better about that when you see that.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
I think some more restaurants are starting to do that
around here.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
High speed trains is on the list, you know, trains
in general for public transit, not for freight, and they're
nice and they're really Yeah, we have a few, but
I feel like we need more here in America.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Right. Towelwarmers in the bathroom, Yes, you like towwarmers?
Speaker 4 (09:07):
In the mountains very much. It doesn't sound like a
big deal, but it's like it's it's a sweet treat.
It's very nice.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Butter on sandwiches is on the list.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Do you put butter on sandwiches?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
I don't, but when we're there and I get sandwiches
and there's butter on it, yeah, I'm like, oh, yeah,
this is good.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
You put it in the sandwich or on top, no.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Like instead of say a mayonnaise or something.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Well, it just sticking out here to you.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
The bidet.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Oh well, bedet, Yeah, yeah, it says here.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
This seems to be the most common response, although bidets
have been gaining traction in America in recent years and they're.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Doing well here in America, but they're all over Europe.
And we actually have a Tote toilet that's at home.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Exactly why I want to mention this. You've got a
really fancy toilet that can be a little intimidating because
I've been like in Harrisalon, some nice places in Manhattan
and they've got your.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Toto Total toilet and Toto to right, your.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
Toto toilets, and I kind of like don't know which
button is just going to give me a plain old flush.
That's right, Yeah, which is gonna dry you?
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Like?
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Everything goes on with those You nailed it, Christine. Yeah,
it's okay to be intimidated. But once you get to
know the buttons, yes, you're fine and you love it.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Right.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
I clean as a whistle, guys. I mean, I'm telling you.
It's got everything.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
It has water pressure, warm water.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
What else goes on in there?
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Air dryer?
Speaker 3 (10:29):
You can control the pressure of the water.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Yeah, and you can adjust it, like if it's not
quite at the spot, you can slide it down a
bit and hit the right spots.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
You don't even have to move. No, it's amazing.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
You don't move your body. It moves.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
It moves for you.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Okay, exactly because we have different needs, we do.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
We all have different needs.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Yeah, So if like, if I use the restroom at
my house and then say you come in after me,
you can adjust everything.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
It's at like mail setting.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Correct.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
Okay, yep, you.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Guys ready to come over?
Speaker 3 (11:03):
What else is on this list?
Speaker 7 (11:05):
All right?
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Well, we don't have time with the rest.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
But okay, what do you eat poutine?
Speaker 5 (11:11):
No?
Speaker 4 (11:11):
Poutine? Is that like the fancy French fries?
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Then they have like cheese curds.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Oh, yeah, no, I haven't. Have you guys had that?
Speaker 1 (11:17):
No, I've never had it.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I've tried it once.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
If you like cheese curds. Sure. Heated floors is on
here too. Oh those are nice if you can get
a heated floor in your bathroom. They're pricey, but they're nice.
We don't get it.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Oh, that's really nice. The split duvets. I don't know
if you guys use duvets, but just think of you know,
blankets even right, you know they'll get Each side of
the bed has their own duvets, so you're not stealing
from each other. All right.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Add to the list, and what kind of toilet do
you have? You can text us at four four three
six three. I love to know what kind of facility
you have at your home.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
Light FM more Covey and Christine and a great music
variety you expect. Next on light at them.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Give you Weekend Ready with bon Jovi and a best
of the eighties weekend kicking off later one those six
point seven Light FM Good Morning for Cubby. Christine produced
a Christen hanging out, Speaking of the weekend you might
be indulging in an adult beverage.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know, please drink responsibly.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
You know, I love my happy hour, I love my cocktails,
I love my doors on the rocks.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Yes, I love my yegrameister shots.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
I'll even dabble in tequila. Okay, So I have a
question for you.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I need a different word for intoxicated. Oh, but you
can't say drunk. Oh, give us a text four four
three six three. I just thought it was funny because
I saw this on Facebook. A different word for intoxicated,
but you can't say drunk. And for example, there's they're smashed. No, yeah,
there's hammered. There's that aneede raided.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
That's what I was thinking of.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, yeah, anymore soust, Soust? I never heard that, like
you got soused? Yeah this past weekend, like on Monday,
you can say that.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, Soust, I know sauced, I know soust. Three sheets
to the wind, Yeah, you're that. I've never understood that term.
By the way, three sheets to the wind, What does
that mean? What is chat?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Can you chat?
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Sheat? What does three sheets to the wind mean?
Speaker 4 (13:09):
When you're a picture like laundry on a line blowing?
Speaker 1 (13:14):
How does that make you drunk?
Speaker 4 (13:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
I have no idea, so give us a text. You
can't you can't stay drunk a different word for intoxicated
at four four three six three. All right, Kristen's laughing.
Did you look it up?
Speaker 6 (13:25):
It's a nautical phrase that means very drunk. So it
comes from sailing, oh, okay, three and old sailing ships.
A sheet was a rope that controlled the sail. If
one sheet came loose, the sail would flop around and
the ship would wobble a bit. Interesting, okay, interesting, So
if three sheets were loose to the wind, the ship
(13:47):
would be wildly out of control.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
Well, I hope to the week to the weekend to
the wind.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
There is like the British way of saying it, But
I don't want to say it on the air because
it's not you might slip no oh, because we use
it differently, all right, so I don't want to say it.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
How about bomb one?
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Oh yeah, slashed, Yeah, slashed. We're getting We're getting some
some good ones via text cloud.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
Plowed plowed? Does that make sense? You ever heard that one?
I heard that one? I got plowed this weekend.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
I no, kuby, I'm not familiar with that.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Mean something else?
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Nine says wasted.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
All right, we're looking for a different word for intoxication,
but not the word drunk.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Blitzed.
Speaker 6 (14:37):
I said, oh, you did say that, because there's like
a lot of that and I've never heard that before.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
Four four three six three being very inappropriate.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
There's a lot we can't say, Cobby, this is dangerous.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
I'm not reading them. Are they Are they being nice?
Speaker 7 (14:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Being nice, and it's probably the terms that they use.
But yeah, we can't time one on.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Oh that's what we haven't heard that time went on.
I tied one on last night. I'm really hungover.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
LIT just like to say, see, it's amazing how many
different words there are for intoxic.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
I don't know, but lit also means something else, you
know what I mean. That's yeah, that's true. Well under
the influence, yeah, very technical.
Speaker 6 (15:19):
Yeah, when you want to sound sober but you're really drunk.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Perhaps I'm under the influence right. Anyways, listen to what
I say.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Please drink responsibly over the weekend. Hammered yea, I said that.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Did you say hammered?
Speaker 1 (15:34):
I think I did. You're hammered for me? Oh man?
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Five seconds later, get plowed this weekend?
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Will you more?
Speaker 5 (15:41):
Cubby and Christine and a great music variety you expect
next on light at that.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
We love to ask hard hitting questions around here like FM,
and we have a toughee for you today, Cubby, Christine,
Producer Christen.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
This is a debate that Eric and I have very often.
I wonder if you and Coco do the same. He's
pulling up to a parking space. Do you pull in
going forward or do you back into it?
Speaker 1 (16:04):
That's the question what determines if you pull in forward
or go past a spot and then back in.
Speaker 4 (16:10):
So Eric, he tends to like, even at our driveway,
We'll pull up like, go past it.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
A little bit.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
I'm like, oh no, here we go, and he's going
to back in. And I always joke with him. I'm like, okay,
Dad or okay Grandpa. Like like to me, he's doing
like little old man stuff right by backing into the spot.
That's what my dad used to do.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
I like backing into a spot if I can.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
He gets so offended, he's like what what, Well, I'm
used to unloading equipment. So he's got a point. He's
got his drum set and everything, and he wants, you know,
the trunk facing.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
The door, Yeah, like the door of the building or whatever.
Speaker 4 (16:47):
Yes, But I don't know, like when we go to
a say you go to a mall, not that we
do that too often, but you go to target or something,
which which way do you pull in?
Speaker 1 (16:55):
It depends on a lot of times. It's all about
my instinct or my gut.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
If I feel like the parking lot is kind of
busy or the spots are too tight, I will try
to back in because sometimes it's hard to come in
at an angle and go forward. I know that sounds weird.
It's actually better to go out and then back in
if the spots are tight.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Am I making sense? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (17:17):
What about you, Kristin, what do you do?
Speaker 3 (17:18):
I think it depends on the situation.
Speaker 6 (17:19):
If I know I'm gonna have a hard time getting
out of the spot, Like if you go to a
concert or a sporting event and you know there's gonna
be a line of cars behind you, I will back
into the spot definitely, so it's an easy out. But
normally when I go to a store, I'll try to
find a spot that I can pull through.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Oh I love that. Love that.
Speaker 6 (17:36):
That's what I try to do, even if I'm parking
in the back of the parking lot because again an
easy out, especially with kids.
Speaker 4 (17:42):
The big risk you take just do it slowly because
how many times have you even like starting to pull
through and somebody was about to pull it?
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Right, it is coming from the other side.
Speaker 1 (17:50):

Speaker 1 (22:02):
A good way to end it, right, yes, cry cute.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Speaking of Taylor, I mean, obviously she's been everywhere this
week with a new Heights podcast and everything, and a
story's coming out every day involving Taylor Swift, including Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Now nice because Sabrina Carpenter is featured on her song
Life of a show Girl. That's the last song on
the album.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (22:21):
One of her old Facebook posts is actually going viral.
So in August of two thousand and nine, Sabrino was
only ten years old. She wrote on her Facebook page
was trying to enter a Taylor Swift karaoke contest to
win tickets and a chance to meet her, but they said.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
I had to be thirteen with a sad face. And
now look at her.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Wow, Now she's singing on an album with Taylor.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
She was opening for Taylor. At one point during the
Eras tour, Taylor said she's the artist of the year,
and yet now she's on the album with.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Her kind of gives me goosebumps.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Yeah. Man, great dreams do come true.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
They really do. One of six point seven Light of.
Speaker 5 (22:55):

Speaker 4 (23:14):
It tries to get vacating calculating told you no.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Six boy seven Light FM. Cubby, Christine, producer Kristin. You
know what we need some Friday feel good news. Tell
me something good, Christine Nagy.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
I am so happy about this story, Cubby. We talked
about it in the news yesterday. There was a man
who was riding the subway in the Bronx, fell asleep
with his dog in his lap, and somebody puppy napped
his little dog.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Well, right now, this is not very feel good news, but.
Speaker 4 (23:46):
We have a happy ending. They've been reunited. Otherwise I
would not be sharing this story. Yeah, yes, so he
is reunited with his best friend. Charles Williams uh played
a as said, he and his one year old puppy
and American Bully were separated when Williams fell asleep on
the D train early in the morning in the Bronx.
(24:09):
We don't know who took the dog, and the person
who found the dog and returned it to the police
station doesn't even want to credit. They're keeping it a secret.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Then that person did it.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
I was just gonna say that guilty.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
But police have a description of the man who they
think took the dog, and they'll be looking for him.
The good news is, though, that daddy and his dog
are reunited, because that's what he said, Charles, when he
saw his dog. He said, that's Daddy's Rock. So because
the little dog's name is Rock. And there is so
much adorable video of the two of them being reunited,
(24:43):
because you know how happy dogs get when they're back,
and he's just he's just squatted down and kissing him
like crazy. And it all happened together.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
It all happened on the D train.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
D is for dog it all it did. It all
happened on the D train. And thank you to the
NYPD forty fourth Precinct for taking good care of Rock
and reuniting him with his dad.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
All right, and more headlines. More news coming up next
on light FM.
Speaker 5 (25:09):
More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
expect next on light.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
F them it is seven to fifty nine, Happy Friday,
middle of the month, August fifteenth, and Christine, you have
all the news.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Good morning Christine, and.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Good morning Covey. President Trump won't share any possible deals
that he may have in mind. He's going to be
meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska today and
reports have been rampant regarding Russia Ukraine landswaps and the
possibility of the US offering Russia a rare earth mineral
deal if it leads to peace here in New Jersey.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
That boil.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
The water advisory continuing for four towns that includes Patterson,
Prospects Park, Halden, and North Helden. We are practically a
full week into this ruptured water pipe. It's a one
hundred and forty year old water pipes, so it's been
very hard to get repaired. But again they argueing it
back up to speed, but you've got to boil the
water to be safe because not everybody has full water
(26:04):
pressure yet.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
It's been a long time. I gotta tell you what.
Six days and your brother was affective producer Christen.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Yes, yes, six days without water right now.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Yeah, but you didn't think of him until four days
into it.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Well, my mom's like, you should call your brother, Hey,
could you use some help. That's tough, that's tough, yeah, mama.
Mia open on Broadway last night. Congratulations to them at
the Winter Garden Theater. We have twenty five cast members
making their Broadway debut and the reviews, of course, are wonderful.
Is such a fun show. We saw it.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
We saw it last week.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
We did. It's expected to sell out, so you can
get your ticket.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
I feel proud to say that we saw it a
week ago.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
Yeah, it's such a good show.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
We're very lucky.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
So yeah, if you can get your tickets, go for
him now. In sports, the Mets lost to the Braves
four three Special night tonight at Cityfield because it was
sixteen years ago today that the Beatles rock Shase Stadium
with fifty five thousand fans, so they're gonna, uh, the
Mets will be hosting Seattle tonight, but get there early
for a special Beatles dedication.
Speaker 1 (26:59):
That's a boy band there, the Beatles.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Okay, that's don't agree.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
It has been ongoing to me, by the way, I
think they're the first ever boy band. But you just
say they're a rock group, right, Yes, but they were
a boy band before Backstreet Boys, Beforehands.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
And obviously before that, Yes, before New Kids on the Block.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Yeah, before the Monkeys.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
You know what, could you get Paul McCartney on the
phone and ask him what.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
He don't don't tip me. I'll work on it. I'll
go do his LinkedIn page. I'll get a.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Number, Little Little World series Connecticut place on a Lulu
tonight at seven. And according to the latest study, we're
not drinking so much anymore. So if you're gonna have
a barbecue, maybe stuck up on some lemonade and iced teef.
You were Americans reporting that they drink alcohol, and uh,
they're not even going for moderate alcohol, they're just swearing
(27:46):
off of it completely. Survey finds fifty four percent of
adults say they drink alcoholic beverages such as liquor, wine, beer,
but that's the lowest it's been since we've been taking
this survey in ninety years, and a lot of people
are saying the cost but mainly the costs of their
health for health reasons.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Well, according to the text we got about an hour ago,
there's lots of people drinking. We thought a text we thought,
we said, hey, another word for intoxication, but you can't
use the word drunk, right, and people text in about
an hour ago at four four three six three, we
had over one hundred text messages sloshed and inebriated and
three sheets to the wind.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
And many things we can't say.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Exactly, yes, exactly, So keep those texts coming if.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
You wish more Covey and Christine and the great music
variety you expect next on, Light at them one six point.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Seven, Light at them. Thank you for making us a
part of your weekend.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
I'm going to say it's officially the weekend, even though
some people might be going into work right now.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
It's not the weekend yet.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
No, it's oh, but you feel like it is?
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Is good?
Speaker 4 (28:47):
You can You're almost there.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
It's Cubby, Christine and Kristin and what should we do
this weekend involving things we can watch?
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Yeah, there's there's a lot available on television. Starting today,
you can stream Superman at home already. Yeah. I've been
wanting to see it in the theaters, but the latest
version by director James Gunn is going to be available
to stream at home, and he said that he wants
to make sure we get to see this by the way,
Amazon Prime, Apple TV, some other platforms. He wants to
(29:16):
make sure we get to see it because he wants
everyone prepared for season two of Peacemaker, the DC comic
book series with John Cena, which debuts next week on
HBO Max. So I guess Superman will prepare you for that.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Oh, so it is out sooner than I thought it
to be, Like it went from theater to boom, but
it didn't.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
You have your choice. So if you want to see
it in the theaters, you can see it in the
theaters because it's cool. It looks like an event movie
like I would like to see in the theaters. Yeah,
but if you have you know somebody at home who
just won't go to the theater with you, you have options.
Now you have options. Stand Up for Cancer is on tonight.
Sheryl Crow is going to be hosting. It's on every network.
(29:55):
It's also on Disney Plus, Fox Hulu. So lots of
special guest us there, including Jamie Fox, Keith Urban Reese, Witherspoon.
I'm just naming a few. But of course this is
all to raise money and awareness to help fight cancer,
all right, And in the theaters, nobody too highest to low.
These are what you're getting in the theaters this weekend,
(30:17):
and which board.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
And now we're going to jump to September third. I'll
tell you what you're getting September third. Get ready for
a night unlike any other. We're going to be on
board the Virgin Voyage, brand new ship. The brilliant Lady

(30:39):
going to be right on board the ship.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
We're going to stay docked, but we're going to be
on the ship. We'll have free roam of the whole ship. Yeah,
check it out. And actually when you go to this dinner,
you might win even more.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
Yes, So we're going to have dinner together. There is
going to be entertainment and then we will give away
the golden ticket. It's a full future voyage on the
Brilliant Lady.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
So be caller ten right now, one two two, one
oh sixty seven, and we're looking for Collar ten. As
I said, and you said, by the way, you told
me off the air, wear a splash of red.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Yeah, it's a hint.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
They're inviting us to wear a splash of red. Okay
for virgin I guess they're a logo, right, red and white. Yeah,
So if you can, you don't have to, not required,
but you know, be in the spirit, all right
Speaker 1 (31:25):
Caller ten, good luck, light of him
