Yeah, we're going to celebrate our anniversary of dating and
we want to get outdoors and we want something quaint.

You love Woodstock, But the places you want to stay
in or all booked. Yeah, so people are throwing out
some great ideas, But how far do you want to go?
Is my question, Christine? Like what like two hours hour away?
Speaker 2 (00:35):
If we do like hours hour and a half like
Woodstock would have been about an hour and a half. Okay,
So because we're leaving Saturday morning and coming back Sunday.

Somebody say Courtland, New York. They have nice foliage and
all that, But oh nice, that's a little far away,
and I don't think the full fall foliage. How do
you say it? Foliage foliage? Yeah, it's not really kicked
in yet either.

It hasn't. But that's okay. But there's some yeah, thank you,
there's some wonderful suggestions in here. One that keeps coming
up is Lambertville and New Hope. That's from a two
h one number.

Do you like antiquing, by the way, because I do.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I do. I I'm thinking of Erica so many. I'm
thinking of eric maybe not as much as me. Okay,
but if there's an old drum set in there, I'm good.
I can look at stuff for half an hour.

You know it's gonna be a nice weekend too. So
maybe you want to be outside.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
We want to be out. That's the idea I want
to get. We want to get it outside into nature.
But I want the quaintance equate.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah.

Yeah, I wanted to be quaint, like the antique shops
and the little restaurants. So so yes, I see New
Hope keeps coming up from five one six finger Lakes.
I agree with you. They're beautiful, little too far for
us right now?

Hey, look who texts it in? Our friend Keana. She
does the overnight show on Z one hundred, right down
the hall, and apparently she's tuned in. We love you, Kiana. Hi, Keana,
She says, go out east on Long Island. It's beautiful
as time of year. You got apple picking, quaint villages
and I love Greenport.

Oh yeah, it is beautiful out there, Kiana.

But getting there, well, from New Jersey, it's a track
right the other side of the planet.

This was one I mentioned to Eric two nine one seven.
Thank you, they said, missed it. Connecticut is really beautiful,
But is that kind of far for us?

Maybe here's here's how my mind. Thanks. I just want
to go west, like I live in Central Jersey. To me,
getting out of town is just going west. Right, going
to Connecticut means ninety five and cross Bronx and all that,
and then actually going south this time of year like
Cape May wouldn't be too bad. But then we mentioned
Long Island, like anything.

That, Well, then we have to cross a couple of rivers.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, So for us going up upstate New York because
we're northern Jersey, that's not bad. Okay, And I think
a head of west towards you guys.

A nine to seven three texted in, I've heard of
this place. Check out Amish View in It has an
adult only building at Intercourse, Pennsylvania, which, by the way,
there's some funny town names in Pennsylvania. There's Intercourse Pa.
The kids and I. We've been there. It's very nice.
The rooms are nice, they say, and you have shops
and nearby restaurants. The Kitchen Kettle Village, which we've been to,

is great. So I'm kind of leaning towards Pennsylvania, like
right at that two hour mark.

Yeah, it sounds like a lot of great stuff. And Kristin,
I'm getting lots of text messages about Peddler's Village that
you mentioned.

Oh, that's great. Yes, And someone also said jim Thorpe,
which I've always wanted to go to. It's supposed to
be beautiful.

And you're looking at about a two hour drive for you,
So that's not bad either. That's not bad.
