Christen crazy story. You just told me that I didn't
even hear about it, Christine.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yes, this little miniature dogs and who went missing. This
is Kangaroo Island in Australia. Somehow survived nearly a year
and a half after the couple who brought their little
dog Valerie out for some hiking gave up on her.
So I always wonder like if they could talk and
tell us their adventures, right, these animals that show up

(00:28):
miles away or find their way back home. They went
hiking back in twenty twenty three. They spent a week
searching for Valerie and they had to give up because
there's so many predators on the island. They were like,
she didn't make it. All of that changed in March
when people started seeing a dog with a pink color

on the island with you know, all the wild animals,
like who's got a pink color?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
And now we're talking two years since the dog, Yes,
got lost.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
So rescuers were able to track her. They very safely
trapped her and have returned her to her family. Valerie
was missing for five hundred and twenty nine days on
her own again on an island in the Australian wilderness.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Incredible. Either that dog has incredible hunting skills or somebody
was feeding it. Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yes, somebody looking after her, but like we wonder, like
were animals looking after her? Would they take care of her?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Possibly? I mean you never know. And it goes back
to what you said, if this dog could.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Talk, right, story what adventures?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Definitely a good story to hear though we've all lost
an animal and maybe you're going through it right now.
Don't lose hope, yeap, all right, because I don't know

And it's always like found a dog, found an animal,
found a cat. Anybody lose a husky? H I get
all the time on my ring alerts. You know you
get those christened No.

I know, I no, no, But you know what it's
it's hard because when you have like we had a
dog and the dog passed, but Roco, his name was Rocco.
My door, front door opened.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
And he was gone. He's like I want to go play.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
And you know nothing.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
He was trying to run away.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
But when they do run?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
You know, it's hard to get that. Yeah, my whole life, dogs, cats, everybody.
When you see a squirrel or a bird and make
a run for it, and it's like no, right, and.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I'm thinking, why are they running away? They have it
so good.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I think they realized it after a while and then they're.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Like, uh, oh, right right, how do I get back?

So when you're in the express line and somebody has
more items than they're supposed to, what do you do?
