Mac & Cheese At The Thanksgiving Table

Thanksgiving a week from today. And when you think about
the Thanksgiving table, either you're hosting or you're at a place,
you know the plate everything, there's somebody plates. So is
mac and cheese kind of like a must on the table?

Because there you got a million things on.

The table, right, why not mac and cheese.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I've been to a few Thanksgiving get togethers with friends
and people have it, Some have it, some don't.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I feel like it should be a standard.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
It seems like people feel very strongly about this, Kubby.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Maybe they have kids like me and christ because that's
what I think that comes in handy.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Yeah, or the tradition started when you were kids. I
mean we never ever ever had it.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Of all the plates on the table, never.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Maga cheese, no, so like I would never expect it.
It's it's recommend you know, by the Martha Stewarty kind
of experts that it's like a great side dish to
bring if you're invited. You know, everybody likes mac and cheese.
But some people feel really strongly that like it's not traditional,
it's not necessary. There's already plenty of carbs on the table, right,

just saying what folks are saying, and that mac and
cheese is something you have all year round, whereas Thanksgiving
you like to have the turkey, the stuffing, the cranberry sauce,
things that feel special.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Okay, the one off things.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah, that that like once a year you're going to
all this trouble and making these dishes. Mac and cheese
you can have any time. But again, you've got little ones,
and I don't know, just the mac and cheese keep
them happy and it.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Would make them eat something, Yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
You know, so that's pretty important.

Speaker 1 (01:45):

Yeah, so I think it's just your family tradition we
just never.
