Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Light FM with Cubby Christine and producer Kristen. So
I love this. We found out the most commonly forgotten
items from Uber and this is the updated list for
twenty twenty five. Correct.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Yes, and New York is number one. We're number one
on so many lists. We're number one for having the
most forgotten items in ubers.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
To begin with. And by the way, so ninth annual
Lost and Found Index revealing common and unique items left
behind in ubers last year. And as you mentioned, so
New York City's number one.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
As the most forgetful city.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
But what are we forgetting? And I think the top
three are kind of off that you could almost call
them out the top of your head, right Yeah, like phone, wallet, keys.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Okay, really crucial things that you're forgetting in the ubers number.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
One, phone number two, wallet number three keys. Have any
of you've forgotten a phone, walleder, keys, Christine, Kristen, I've.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Left a straightener in an Uber hairs straightener. Yeah, yeah,
an expensive one too.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
That didn't make the list.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
By the way, do you track it down? We tried.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
The guy was like, I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I'm like, yeah, until I see it on eBay.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Luggage came in number four. What I mean, like, you
just bought some luggage you forgot it?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Or no, I think you're coming home from a trip
and you forget Like, oh wait, open.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
The trull, right, Hoban, you have walked out of here
without your backpack? Yes, so one time, and it was
just a couple of days ago. Headphones came in number five,
Glasses came in number six, clothing number seven, passport number eight,
vape number nine, and a water bottle number ten. Water bottle,

(01:40):
you forget a water bottle? No big deal, right?

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I think maybe that's the most I've forgotten. Now.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
I'll leave it to Christine to mention some of the
most unique items left behind with that, because I see
some of these coming up. I just want to hear
you say it.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah you do. A mannequin head with human hair. Yeah,
these are the most unusual items left behind in the
ubers here in New York City. A chainsaw? How you
even sat down with one? How the Uber driver continued
to drive. It would have been like pass go.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
To the well. Maybe you needed a ride back from
lows or something like that, and you had a chainsaw.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Chainsaw breast milk. Oh, that's important. That that really is
usually important. A turtle, a turtle, poor little turtle. A
urinal again, how is this possible?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I don't understand that one. A urinal like a porta
potty that's too big, can't fit in an uber.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Shrek ears somebody was out for the night unicycle because
we all have one of those. A traffic cone, take
it up somewhere. And boiled eggs, all right, now, those
are too valuable, or they have been.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Here's the best one.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Ten live lobsters.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Actually that's documented. It was actually forgotten in an uber.
Ten Live lobsters.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Oh, it's going to feel like the Twelve Days of Christmas.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Well, we'll see where this all ranks next year when
the Uber Index comes out of the most common lost
and found things, and we'll have it for you here
at LANFM.
