final day of April Cubby with Nina in for Christine.
We got producer Kristen and yeah, Nina, we didn't know
you were coming in today. Even Christine didn't know you
were coming in today until about what was it at
eight o'clock Kristen yesterday morning?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah, she texted me, I'm in a panic. Are you
in it tomorrow? Yes, I'm in tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
So she thought she was working today and then going
home to pack some more. Yeah, and then jumping on
a five thirty flights.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
It's not the worst thing.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
No, it's not. I've done it before.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
She doesn't do it.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
She doesn't do it. I've done a morning show before
and then caught a europe flight in the evening. And
I like working like on a day like today. Yeah,
I'm more tired for the flight.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
It's also save a vacation day.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Correct. Well, Christine thought she was working today, and then
around eight o'clock again yesterday morning, she goes, oh my gosh,
I took off. I forgot. I gotta call Nina make
sure she knows. But you know, you know, and you're
in for what a week and a half.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I think I'm in all the rest of this week,
next week, and I think the Monday for whatever the
Monday is.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Wow. Yeah, Well we're in good hands with producer Kristin.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
She's here every day.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
She's got us all prepped and ready to go. Is
it gonna be a great show today, Kristin? Or what
it is? Can you name the giveaways we have off
the top of your head? No, but you prepared me
with the giveaways?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Sure.

Yeah, that's why everything she did.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
She put the sports together, she got the news all
taken care of good.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
She does it all. Seriously, I don't think people know
how important a producer is behind the scenes, so important
I can. I could be frozen for like a week,
and you can unthaw me and all the informations in
front of me to make me sound like I'm plugged
in when really I'm not.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
You do sound you just sound pretty good?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yes. For example, did you know that today is National
Adopted Shelter Pet Day. That's a great thing, always a
good day to adopt her for a friend. In fact,
our friends from the North Shore Animal League, we're here
yesterday and they had puppies up here and we were
holding puppies and not one peede on me. Oh no,
it's a good thing. One it is sometimes they do. Yeah,
what were you You were holding a really cute dog,

Producer christ the one you had, Yeah, that's we held
the same dog. You handed it off to me. That's right,
that's right, the brown dog.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
The brown dog. So specific that narrows it down.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Well, you know what, every dog they brought up, they
didn't know the breed. They're like, it's a mix, that's
a mix. That brown dog I think was a lab.
I think.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Do you know that they adopt out forty over forty
thousand dogs during their campaign the month campaign, It's crazy. Yeah,
we had them on the public affairs show Got Connected
this month, so I learned all the facts.

Speaker 1 (02:27):

Every once in a while, just if something like that
comes up, like you know something that's like that.

No, but I mean, have you ever in the middle
of the day, like right now it's we're in the morning.

So you have a show called Get Connected and it's
all about the community and it airs.

On Sunday mornings between seven and seven fifteen. We have
two guests. Every week. There's two guests, so there's a
there's a fifteen and fifteen okay, And to be honest,
I can't remember who's on this weekend.

Have you ever done a twenty and a ten? Sometimes

Yeah? Sometimes because sometimes you get a guest and you
