Speaker 1 (00:00):
Are you sure this is accurate, Christine? I thought we
just talked about cats.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
We did. Monday was National Black Cat Day, and today
talked about how special they are and wonderful, and today's
just National Cat Day. It's all inclusive, Okay, every National
Cat Day. Tabby's calicos. You're all in.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Do you have cat stories to support?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I have cat stories?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
National Cat Day?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
First of all?

Speaker 1 (00:22):
All right, let's do a string of cat stories.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Hey, yes, because we have great love for cats around here,
and I know that our friends and listeners love cats too,
because we get a lot of great comments. And there's
a really feel good story from right here in New
York where police officer Frank Squillante, he's with the NYPD,
had rescued a little kitten and he said this was

(00:44):
a sign that we were meant to be together. So
what happened was there was a food truck near Central
Park and people heard the little me yeah, and they
thought something's going on, And so many people gathered around
the truck and the guys who were working in the
trunk were like, okay, hold what's going on and they
couldn't see this kitten. And then Officer Frank came over

(01:04):
and he got on the ground and went under and
still couldn't see the kitten, but heard them heard it again,
and he said he put his hand up in the
wheel well, and this little kitty licked his hand, and
he pulled the cat out in that moment, just five
weeks old, like a tender little kitten, just five weeks old.
The people around the truck were all like, ah, plodding, yay,

(01:26):
you saved him. He took them right to the vet.
They said, this is a perfectly healthy little kitten, about
five weeks old. And the officer said that he's never
had a cat in his life, but he felt like
this was a sign and that they were meant to
be together. And he's named him Cheech, and he says
he's the cutest little guy. And now they're living happily.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Ever after Christ.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
That's funny. It's just Cheech is like a nickname for
frank My dad's name is Franken. They call him Cheech.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
So it's cute.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
He bonded with the kitten. Yeah, oh, how sweet. He's great,
that's what I think. So he's now a family member.
And speaking of cats as family members, I have one more.
This is a story of a couple who's getting divorced
and they have two cats and no kids, and the
wife wants custody of the cats, and she won custody

(02:13):
of the cat's husband agreed that she can have the cats.
He has to pay catimony. What did we tats support
at two forty dollars every three months?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Croud support me ten.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Years to help cover the cat's expenses.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Wow, that's funny, he said.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
He felt like his wife should have the cats. He
agreed they will be very well cared for, but he's
going to miss them now.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I'm trying to think of text in your favorite jokes
on this at four four six three. You know, if
you call child support child support and this is just
about cats, is it meal support? Is it literate support?
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Is it U cat support?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Cat? There's got to be a joke there somewhere we're
missing it. You got a text. It's right in front
of us, Christie, right there. You can't quite grasp it.
