Speaker 1 (00:00):
Those six point seven Cubby and Nina del Rio and
for Christine producer Kristin. It's international leave the Office early Day. Sure,
what do you think guys?
Speaker 2 (00:10):
We need more of those.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
I'm just one.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Uh huh, welcome to I apologize. It's not international leave
the office early day. It was just national leave the
office early day. So if you're listening to us on
the iHeartRadio app in Europe, this is not an international thing.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Don't get in trouble. It's not our problem.
Speaker 4 (00:30):
Nina. We're catching up on things.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah, yeah, I had good weekends.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
I heard you on the air all weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I was on the air all.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Did you have time to do anything else? I did?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah. Well, yesterday, thanks to a woman named Nicole at
the James Earl Jones Theater, I went to go see
Real Women Have Curves. It was a great show. Really yeah,
I kind of in a way like, you know, there's
so many shows to see. This show was so funny,
like it was packed. The audience gave it a standing
ovation during the show. Wow, yeah, that doesn't happen very often.
(01:01):
It was really funny. It was kind of like, I
don't know, just you know, adult jokes in there. A
little bit of adult jokes. You can take your kids,
of course.
Speaker 4 (01:08):
But you know, like, oh, okay, I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Like the humor is very smart, super smart humor. And
the actors in it are amazing. They were really great.
The woman who plays the lead, I think she's twenty five.
This is her first Broadway role. She's fantastic. The woman
who plays her mother had played that role like twenty
five years ago.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
So it was. Yeah, it was really charming, really good show.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
But like you said, the jokes will go over a
kid's head, yes, but will hit.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
But I love adults will love them, and they're like
sort of. I was with a friend who's from Perus.
She's like, these are very Spanish culture jokes, you know
what I mean, Like if you're from that world, like
you really get what they're getting towards. It was very funny,
really good show, great songs. If you like a musical,
if you don't like a musical, good show.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Are there Freddy Tony's I don't know, I shouldn't throw
you under the bus like that.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
The Tony Awards, by the way, are coming up on Sunday, Monday,
and on the night before the Tony's Actually, that's kind
of a big deal that good Night, good Luck will
be live on CNN on Saturday night.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Oh, it's like live live.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, and that's a big deal live live. And that's
a big deal too because those tickets are expensive. It's
the last show if you've missed it. George Clooney has
a Tony nomination for his first show on Broadway and
you can see it in the privacy of your home
for you know, free producers being a producer.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, they have two Tony Award nominations, Best Original Score,
Great and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured
Role in a Musical.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
And who is that actress? Which is her? Does it
say her name?
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Justina?
Speaker 4 (02:35):
You're making producer Kristen work.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I know, but I have.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
The Justina the program.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Oh Justina is the woman who plays the mother. She's great.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah, yeah, you got the play bill right for I know, because.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
I just can't trust myself to remember stuff. But it
was a great show. It to at the Jamiel Joe's Theater.
