I have the a little history for you about the beloved Twinkie.
The Twinkies started back in nineteen thirty and they were
originally filled with strawberry cream and it was fresh strawberries
at the time, so they only had them seasonally, so
your twinkies were really fresh.

Like malamars kind of like that.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, you've got strawberries. And then what happened was the
strawberries were not always available, so they said, let's stick
some bananas in there, so then you were getting fresh
banana cream. But during World War Two, bananas were in
short supply, so twinkies went, Now, what do we do
they put vanilla cream in, which is what we're used
to at this time. It's just that it was a

different recipe at that time. Okay, But thanks to Amazon,
you can now get banana twinkies once again. So Hostess
is making them, but they're only available on Amazon right now,
and then our regular twinkies are in the stores now.

I didn't, and I really enjoyed that.
