Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
It's one of six point seven Light FM. The band
is back together. A cubby Christine producer Kristin. We're feeling
pretty good, feeling refreshed. I don't know about you, but
the weather yesterday kind of gave me a little extra energy.
I'm still draggon because it was Monday, but it felt
great just to go outside and feel lower humidity. Yep,
and we have that this morning. This this little breeze,
little breeze going on. Yeh high today of eighty. It

(00:23):
does get hotter through the week. I think my Friday,
we're back in the mid nineties. So enjoy this right now.
Ok It's a great day to get in a hammock
and have mango. Why do I say that it's National
Hammock Day and it's National Mango Day.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Okay, you can do both of those.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Nice that It's good.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
You're very happy about something coming up in a month.
August twenty sixth, Christine, what is happening? You just heard
the news. You're a fan.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Pumpkin Spice Day Starbucks lovers. Yeah, it's happening. There is
a call chart. I sent it to you too.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Oh, I just got it.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
There are full sneak peek. Full menu drops August twenty
six at Starbucks.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Now on August twenty sixth. Let's say it's let's say
it's ninety five degrees. Will you still indulge in a
nice fall menu? Pumpkin spice?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Well, I could do the iced pumpkin spice.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Really, Kristin, you're in.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Oh, I'm totally in going to go for hot. I
don't even care if it's ninety degrees.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I'm wondering I'll have hot with you.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
See yeah, all right, I mean, typically hot is the
way I like it. But this year there's like a
pecan crunch thing that they're doing, right, oat milk lattes
and pecan cortado. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I'm looking at the menu. I can't tell what's new
and what's not.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
It's the ones that say new or new.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Oh, you're right, I didn't see that. Okay, thank you, Christine,
you're right. All right, there's the pecan all right, all right,
I'm here. Italian sausage egg bites are new boy. Starbucks
should be paying for this. This is a hell of
an ass.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
We should have been paying me for years.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Like that's all you do, mentioned, Starbucks. I want to show.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
All right, hey, Carolyn Whitman, if you're listening right now,
Carolyn big Wig, in our sales department, we mentioned Starbucks
a lot. Yeah, hey, get on Starbucks right now and
have them advertise and get on McDonald's right now.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yes, because they saved our producer, Kristen, thank you mckel you.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Believe it now? How come you weren't here? Can you
share why you weren't here for a couple of days?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Well, not a couple of days, but it was the
weekend and then it led into not being here on Monday.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yes, So I suffer from migraines, you know, not as
often as I used to, but they but they do
come back every so often. And I did get a
really bad one on Sunday that carried into yesterday, so
I wasn't able to come in and everything that I
normally do to get rid of it was not working.
So yesterday I was so desperate I said, I'm going

(02:43):
to try the McDonald's migraine hack. And we talked about that,
I think a couple of weeks ago. You order a
large coke and a large French frise and apparently it's
supposed to cure your migraine, you know, caffeine, electrolytes, assault carbs, everything, Guys,
it worked.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
And I'm I'm not a fast food eater, like I
don't really eat and I and I don't really drink
soda at all, really, so I just couldn't believe it.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
That's all you got. You got exactly what exactly that
back is fries and a large large coke.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Don't get a diet coked if to get a regular coat,
and a large French fry.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Oh and she got to have all those French fries.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Yeah, yeah, the kids did have some. I'm gonna they
were like donald I was like, oh.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
No, it's like when you're hungover, you know, you had
that one meal you go to when you're hungover. I
always either went to a McDonald's or any kind of
fast food place and got something extremely greasy, because in
my mind, I feel like you have to soak up.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
All the alcohol from the night before. I don't know
if that even works, but in my mind it's working
right right, So good for you. You're feeling better, then
I'm feeling better. I can't believe it.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
All right, we have three pretty cool things coming up
next here on LIGHTFM.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
