Things Millennials Don't Care About

When it comes to their home, millennials don't bother with these things.

Let's see things that millennials don't care about when it
comes to home life. So I think you can go
millennial and up if you want, right, So, these are
just some responses. Anything built, bought, or maintained for the
specific purpose of hosting is not happening anymore.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
All right, Kristin, you're the only millennial in the room.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Something like this, I mean, yeah, I don't think I don't.
I kind of agree with that.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
How about it a formal dining room? People are done
with that.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yeah, that doesn't exist anymore. A lot of people now
use their dining room as their kitchen table. They don't
even have a kitchen table anymore. So to make it formal,
that's kind of hard to maintain.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So you don't really care about a formal dining room Christmas?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Really, No, those are kind of done a manicured lawn.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Oh that's kind of important.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
That is important, right, yeah, right, yeah, yeah, let's see
fancy plates and things that were made just for company.
Feels like nonsense. Now, oh we have those, yeah, fancy.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
We do have the fancy plates that come out when
there's company.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yes, do you have fancy Christmas plates too? I do?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, I do. Listen, I inherited all the lenox that
my grandmother has that.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
We don't do it at our house, but that was
something my mom would always do, the big plate changeover
for different seasons and just when, like you said, when.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Guests come over, well also seasonal changes. And I'm seeing
like that's not happening anymore, like you'd swap out the
like this is old school? Is my mom? You swap
out curtains for the season. Yeah, and linen's do you
guys know?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
No, I don't do it anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
My house doesn't have to be spotless or even clean.
If it insults you, feel free to come over and
clean it.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Wow, needs to be cleaning for coming over.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
My house is clean cleaning like crazy, which includes dusting.
I felt like there was zero dust at my house
as a kid and now it's either overly dusty and
we just live with it, or I don't know the
difference anymore.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Whoever wrote that there's no dusting as a kid, that's
because your mom.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Exactly like crazy and our moms. I remember washing windows.
Somebody writing here once a week is wild. I do
my windows four times a year, which I think sounds
pretty good.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Yeah, yeah, washing windows, that's a huge task. Twice a
year I think is enough.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I never make my bed. My wife doesn't either. We
only make it when we change the sheets.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
You have to have the bed made. I don't care
when you were born, can't do it.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yeah, my four year old knows how to make his bed.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Thanks you those important things. And finally, pets on furniture,
we don't care so much.

Millennials don't care.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, all right, I'm putting a Wii in there because
I don't really care.

Well, yeah, we're cat people, Christine.

You can't do anything about it. Kristen, Kristin, you look
like you care.

I'm sorry, No, that's okay. I used to have a
dog and I did not like when the dog would
sleep on the bed. But you know, yeah, I know,
but
