Yes, took place right around the corner here from Midtown's
the Plaza Hotel.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
The Plaza Hotel, and if you wanted to have that experience, right,
that does exist, Like you can go to the Plaza
and kind of live the home alone to experience Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
It's rather costly, though, I was going to say. Yeah,
So back.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
In the day, we're talking thirty three years ago, when
Kevin stayed there, it would have cost two thousand, one
hundred and nine dollars to have the whole experience he did.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Even all the food he ordered, all that.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
The bill would now be eight thousand, five hundred eleven dollars.

thousand dollar right today, that's two two hundred and thirty
three dollars and eighty nine cents. Kitching the three scoop
ice cream Sunday back in the nineties was eighteen dollars.
Today's price is twenty four. But if you're having the
experience and you have it sent to the room, that's
another three hundred and fifty.

Dollars if you got the money. You know, So the.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Total trip from Sweet to Sunday was twenty one hundred
nine dollars in ninety two. Today eight thousand, five hundred
eleven dollars. And that's not even counting the taxis or
limos that Kevin treated himself too.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
And that was thirty three three years ago. Thirty three
years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
All right, we'll check back in twenty thirty seven, maybe
another twelve years and find out what the inflation is.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Then.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah, I mean, like the what do you think would
you go for it one night? Eight thousand, five hundred
eleven dollars for the experience.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I am a home alone It's funny. I am a
home alone fan.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
I don't have that money, but I would kind of
it would be fun to experience it just for one
night and all that ice cream, all that ice cream,

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
