Speaker 1 (00:00):
We have your variety from the eighties through today. Good morning,
It's six fifty Thursday, Cubby Christine, producer Christen Light FM.
And here's a fun conversation to have. And I'm sure
we'll get a lot of text on this because people
have various opinions. You can text us at four four
three six three. But we're talking about TV here and
the best show ever. And here's what qualifies the best

(00:21):
show ever. It never had a bad season. What show,
right in your opinion, has never had a bad never
had a bad season. Every single season was amazing. I
never saw Breaking Bad, but I bet you we get
a lot of breaking bads.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Breaking Bad is definitely going to be on the list.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah. Sopranos I think was excellent beginning to end right Like,
I don't think it jumped the shark at any point.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
That's a big to me. That's a big stamp of approval.
If you can say a show never had a bad season, Yeah,
because can you think of shows that were great but
had a bad season or a clunker here and there.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, there were shows that I loved and then you
know what popular one that there was one season where
I was just like oof, and it kind of stopped
me from watching. It was the Walking Dead meat and
I know everyone loves the Walking down, but I think
it was like season three, it slowed down and I
was like, woof, And it did make a comeback, No,
it did, it did, but you had to get through
that that slow season.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I don't know what happened. It was all about the
Walking Dead, and then there was one point where it
just became too much. Yeah, like too much violence, too
many losing to many characters. So I probably made it
past the third season and then I was done. Unfortunately.
Also comedy shows like Seinfeld.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah, you're right, because every episode was different, every season
was pretty much on par.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
That was great.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I mean, you can go on forever. I can't.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
But again, bad season.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
You have to remember when you when you pick a
show that never had a bad season, you have to
really you have to be right, because.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Well, you don't want to recommend it to someone and
then they're like.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Hey, it was good until right.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
So my favorite show of all time is The Office,
and in my opinion, there was not a bad season,
but a lot of people say that once Steve Carell
left that it went down. It changed a bit it
did change, but I didn't think any of the seasons were.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Bad, right right, he was still love watching it. I mean,
I'm always going to talk about this show because I
love it severance. But we're only two seasons in, so
I get this is something we're talking about, like a
whole series that's already done, right, you.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Know me, I'm thinking, Brady, bunch of different strokes, what's happening?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Never had a bad season, had a bad season every
single episode.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Give us a text. What show, in your opinion, never
had a bad season ever? It was just great from
episode one to episode nine hundred.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah, four four three sixty three. We're already seeing great
things on here, by the way, Stranger things, Oh absolutely,
I'm so with you. Outlander, that's another favorite of ours,
The Facts of Life, Cubby? Did you test that one in?

Speaker 1 (02:55):
I love people that recommend eighties and nineties and even seventies.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Also King of and Reba. So yeah, we'd love to
hear from you shows that never had a bad season
