Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm honored that Christine took a suggestion from me and
watched a recommended show I watched on Netflix. Yes, and
of course, you know, you know my sense of humor,
of course I'm gonna recommend Poop Cruise.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yes, the full title is train Wreck Poop Cruise and
it's a documentary on Netflix. And I saw it every weekend.
You watched it last night? Yeah, without spoiling anything, your thoughts, Uh.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
It was great. You know, it's so funny because I
always say, like Eric, my fiance and Covey have the
same sense of humor. So when I said Eric, I said,
Covey's recommending this Netflix documentary. It's less than an hour.
It's called train Wreck Poop Cruise. And he was like,
let's go. He was like so exciting, and then like
(00:44):
as it's starting, and you know, they lay out what's
going to happen, because this really did happen and yeah, twenty.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Thirteen, twenty thirteen, I remember hearing about it when it happened,
but I totally forgot about totally forgot.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
And then he was like, yes, yeses. He was really
psyched to watch this. It's excellent. It makes you kind
of scared.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Well, I'll tell you what. If you're on a fence
about doing a cruise, this will make you not want
to do a cruise.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
This documentary may scare you off.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Yeah. It's about a certain carnival cruise ship that lost
power halfway through their journey and everything just fell apart
and the toilets didn't work and everything got backed up.
And that's why they call it the poop Cruise because
just there, that was the biggest problem they had. They
had a number of problems, but you could you couldn't
go number one, number two where you could, but it
just depending on where you did live. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
So yeah, it was supposed to be like a four
day cruise. They were just going from Texas.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah, it was from my Galveston cozl and back.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
And then on the way back they lost.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
They lost power and then they were adrift.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
What are you what are you watching, Kristin anything you
can recommend? We watch a lot of reality TV, so no, no, no, yeah.
And by the way, when we do talk about TV shows, yes,
and documentaries like we are right now, we got to
be careful because somebody will text this saying I don't
spoil it for me. Right, So like, what's the rule?
Speaker 2 (02:01):
We are really really I think we're very careful, but
it's hard. Right now, this is like a little British
study ask people, well, what's safe if you're going to
give spoilers? Because we all watch at our own pace
and people are saying, could you wait three to five
days after something's released? Okay, where you give a spoiler?
But even then, I don't know. I'm careful.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
I feel like the rules have changed because back when
shows were pretty much only on network TV.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yeah, you appointment watching watching it doesn't exist.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
It doesn't because people are on their own time frame.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
I want to give people plenty of time. Sometimes you
can't watch during the week and you watch on the weekend. Right.
The Jane Mansfield documentary.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
I've heard about that.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
That is excellent. That's Marishka hargatea put together. It's not
like poop cruise you guys, sit down, Yeah, yes, it's
she did such a beautiful job directing this, like it's
got to win awards. It's it's incredible, all right. And
the p Wee Herman documentary, Oh, that one was great, fantastic, right.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
I forgot we didn't finish that because it was a
two parter, right, yeah, and we watched the first part.
I didn't know there was a second part until like
after you watched.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
The first part exactly, So it's worth it. So there
is some really good stuff out there. But if you
just have you know, less than an hour and you
want to watch something train Wreck, Poop Cruise, Netflix, well
recommend it.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Uh huh h what are you watching? Give us a
text four four three six three. We want to hear
from you.
