Speaker 1 (00:00):
As I mentioned, autumn begins. I believe like two eighteen
pm on Monday. Wow, So technically it's still summer, yes,
but let's get you fall ready.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yes, fall cleaning.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
Fall.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
It's time to do our fall cleaning, not the spring cleaning.
So according to our cleaning experts, the Martha Stewart kind
of people, you know, Real Simple magazine actually has the
tips for cleaning out your bedroom now so it's nice
and cozy for the season. So what they say is
get rid of anything that's under the bed. If you
store stuff under the bed, chances are you probably forgotten
(00:31):
about it and it doesn't need to be there, So
like toss it or donate it. Get rid of wire hangers.
No more wire hangers.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
That's all happening exactly.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I just donated a bunch back if you can call
it that, to the dry cleaners.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yeah, you can't donate them, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
I always take them back. I let them pile up
a little bit, bring them back.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
What I do, throw them away. I know you probably
shouldn't throw them away. I always do a good job
though it bending them to make sure you can't get
poked by it.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, and you don't let your clothes hang on them, right,
because it'll ruin your clothes, right, No, I don't, Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
If anything, I think we have the Clothy ones.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, the clothy ones.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Or the cardboard ones are pretty good too. Cardboard not cardboard,
but no, they're plastic. They're regular wire hangers. Oh but
they have cardboard on the on the wire itself.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Okay, so it won't hurt your we'll hurt your clothes, okay. Yes,
dry cleaning garment bags look like they're free, cool bags
to have, but yet they're not exactly Christian's like, no, no, yeah,
nothing breeds in there. Don't keep them Clothing you don't
wear it can be daunting, but now is the time
to say did I wear this this summer? And if
you didn't let it go.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
That's a tough one because we all have those articles
of clothing where, you know, maybe we don't fit into
them like we used to. We're like, we're gonna get
there again.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
We'll hold on to it, we'll come back.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Shoes that are in disrepair, Apparently we're supposed to let
those go. Old betting, don't keep betting forever I have.
I'm kind of guilty as charged.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
On that one, like an old duvet had forever.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Well yeah, then sheets and everything. I kind of just
hang on and shove them away, but let them go.
Old hobby supplies. Oh this is a big one. I'm
living with this right now. Excess storage containers. So like
if you swap the clothing out, if you've you know,
emptied out those containers and now you're kind of stuck
with them. Where do they go?
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Oh? Where do they go? Under the bed?
Speaker 2 (02:24):
No, don't store anything under the bed, sit under the bed,
let them go. Or they said, like seasonal clothes, like
close that your summer clothes under the bed. You can
PLoP those in there and maybe put them in a
closet or the attic. Almost empty skincare products need to
go under the bed. And old socks, the ones that
don't have a mete and the ones that add holes
(02:44):
in them that are just done.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Check your dryer first.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Absolutely, they like to hang on in there.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
And how about kid socks. That's our biggest nemesis, so tiny, Yeah,
trying to find a match. My wife has a whole
bag of the unmatched ones.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Oh and then we just waiting for the mates to
show write and.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
The laundry will come out, and then we'll try to
compare to the bag of unmatched it as a fit anyway.
It's always something right, Yeah, but
Speaker 2 (03:09):
These are just little hands like nice things to keep
in mind.
