midnight with a low of sixty nine. We'll give you
the weekend to come with Terry Smith at five ten.
Right now, we have seventy one degrees at your official
severe weather station, News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
So now here's close Saunders with the news.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
Thank you, good Sarah. It is five oho one on KGRH.
Our top story. The Houston Chronicle reports that a Democrat
City council member, Letitia Plumber, is proposing to end HPD's
cooperation with ICE.
Speaker 8 (01:40):
As it stands right now, HPD is simply fulfilling their
duty to enforce warrants.
Speaker 9 (01:44):
When they are burning warrants on somebody, they are checking
all jurisdiction, so they are executing the ICE warrants just
as they do with any other warrant.
Speaker 8 (01:52):
Council member Amy Peck says, failing to uphold that simple
obligation could land the entire city in hot water.
Speaker 9 (01:58):
That's something that they would have to vet. I have
concerns about how we would be able to legally do it,
but it would have to go.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
Through the legal department first.
Speaker 8 (02:05):
Peck added that on top of the questionable legality of
the reported proposal, there's also significant safety red flags. Ethan
Buchanan News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
By the way, we should tell you Plumber did not
respond to our request for comment, and this is why
her reported proposal is a pretty bad idea. During the
Schumer shutdown, ICE arrested more than thirty five hundred illegals
in Houston alone, many convicted of violent felonies. Meantime, South
Texas sheriff says the rush of illegal aliens under Joe
(02:35):
Biden has created a modern day slavery. It's run by
the cartels.
Speaker 10 (02:40):
People have to be willing to provide labor and other
services to pay off their final debt.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Golliett County Sheriff Roy Boyd told lawmakers that luck law
enforcement should be empowered to make immigration arrests. Texas Governor
Greg Gabbott has directed DPPs to launch criminal investigations into
both the Muslim Brotherhood and.
Speaker 11 (03:00):
Care the governor's right to go after them, and I've
introduced legislation that we should vet people for Sharia law,
and today introduced legislation that we should pause all immigration
until we sort this stuff out.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
Texas Congressmanship Roy on Foxy's scheduled to join us at
seven twenty care has sued the governor for designating them
as terrorists. It's five oh three. The President meets with
New York City Mayor elect Zoron Mamdanni, the socialist today.
But the White House is not exactly rolling out the
red carpet.
Speaker 12 (03:30):
It speaks volumes that tomorrow we have a communist coming
to the White House, because that's who the Democrat Party
elected as the mayor of the largest city in the country.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Well, it's very telling, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt,
and this is Mam Donnie's New York. Hundreds of protesters
outside a Manhattan synagogue this week, shouting death to the
IDF you. Poll numbers, though, are being called a twenty
twenty six warning sign for Trump and the GOP.
Speaker 13 (04:00):
A Fox News poll taken this month shows a majority
of voters have a negative view of the economy and
blame the White House for it. Political analyst Jeff Creuerer
says this means the Trump administration is still not getting
its message across.
Speaker 14 (04:12):
The overall inflation rate is right at three percent. Certainly
not where we were in the Biden administration, where you
had over twenty percent increase and prices over the four
years of Joe Biden. So yeah, they've got a story
to tell.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
They've got to get it out there.
Speaker 13 (04:25):
He notes that most elections are decided on the economy,
so Trump and Republicans must focus on that even more
ahead of next year's midterms. Corey Jolson News Radio seven
forty KTRH.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
Thank you, Corey. This week's ruling to block the new
Texas congressional map has sent many candidates scrambling across the.
Speaker 15 (04:41):
States well multiple districts that the competition for it will
dramatically change if we go back to the old map.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
Rice is Mark Jones there. The week's ruling was two
to one. The dissenting judge, Jerry Smith accused US colleagues
of judicial misconduct for leaving him out of the process
and not giving him time. I'm to review the decision.
Of course, the state is appealing the ruling. It's now
five to oh five. Governor Ron DeSantis wants to eliminate
property taxes in Florida. But you won't give those looking
(05:11):
to escape show socialist New York a break.
Speaker 16 (05:14):
I don't want a situation where it's going to incentivize
people to flood into the state to claim a tax benefit.
So it's going to be structured in a way that
you know what you elected, Mendami, You're not going to
just be able to come down here and get no home, said.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Property tech DeSantis with ktrh Is Klay Travis and Buck
Sexton Looking at Your Money. The economy added a higher
than expected one hundred and nineteen thousand jobs in September,
blowing away expectations.
Speaker 17 (05:40):
Americans are better off financially. We're seeing a lot of
investment in the United States. People are spending one hundred
thousand is twice what we thought we would see on jobs,
So I am very happy.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Economist Steve Moore on Foxdale. Futures are up one hundred
and forty six points this morning, and there's even more
good news when it comes to the economy, especially the
local one home sales in Houston are expected to increase
by fourteen percent next year.
Speaker 18 (06:04):
The survey projects the federal interest rate will drop below
six point two five percent. Real Estate expert Kenya Burrell
van Warmer says that affects the mindset.
Speaker 19 (06:13):
It helps consumers still better about making that decision to purchase.
Speaker 18 (06:18):
In addition, ben Warmer points to Houston's nearly balanced supply.
Speaker 19 (06:22):
Houston has about five point two months supply of inventory,
and a balance market is usually around six percent.
Speaker 18 (06:29):
She says Houston's inventory matched by demand reflects a healthy
housing market. I'm Erica Smith, News Radio seven forty KTIH.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
It's now five oh six. Davis Mills through for two touchdowns,
the defense sack Josh Allen eight times, had a big
interception in the final minute, and the Texans beat Buffalo
twenty three to nineteen. They're now six and five and
they will host the Cults a week from Sunday. The
Rockets take on Denver tonight, looking for their sixth consecutive win.

traffic station, News Radio seven forty KGRH.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Stay informed, Stay on time. Houston's Morning News continues with
Jimmy Barrett and the Houston Morning News team.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
All Right, good morning to you. Seven minutes after five o'clock.
Bob France sitting in for Jimmy this morning. Happy Friday
to you happy early Thanksgiving. I'll give you a whole
bunch more Thanksgiving greetings next week because I'll be in
for Jimmy for the duration.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
Wow, what a bombshell.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Last night we found out that the Department of Justice,
which had already been exposed, the not current Department of Justice,
by the way, but the Biden Department of Justice that
had already been exposed for spying on members of Congress
Republican members of Congress during this Arctic Frost investigation, Jack
(07:52):
Smith's January sixth investigation ordered Verizon to hand over the
phone data of a lot of Republicans in the House
and Senate. And now we found out they did this
to the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Holy goodness,
Jim Jordan. In twenty twenty two, they subpoenaed the first
personal phone records personal not office personal phone records of
(08:15):
Jim Jordan, seeking the Ohio Republican's phone data covering more
than a two year period. A federal prosecutor who later
worked on Special Consul Jack Smith's January sixth investigation, ordered
Verizon to hand over the phone data, also known as
toll records, dating back to January first of twenty twenty,
it appears to be Fox is reporting the most expansive
(08:39):
yet of the publicly known subpoenist targeting senators and current
and former House members during Arctic Frost, which is that
investigation that led to Jack Smith bringing election related charges
against President Donald J.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Trump.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
This is the corruption of government, honestly and truly at
the highest levels. And this, for anybody who doesn't understand
the term, is what weaponization of government looks like, particularly
excuse me, weaponization of the Department of Justice.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
This is what it looks like.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
And it's important to use that vernacular and to explain
it that way, because this is exactly what the Left
is accusing Pami's Pam Bondi's Department of Justice of doing
as they continue to go after people who have committed crimes,
or at least who have been implicated in serious crimes
and been referred to Grand juries for indictments. And of
(09:34):
course I speak of people like John Brennan and James
Clapper and James Comy and obviously John Bolton and some
of these others. This is not about targeting political enemies.
This is about looking at and spotting crimes and pursuing them.
That's not weaponization of justice. What is weaponization of justice
(09:56):
is when you literally have the age and the doj
Merrick Garland, Joe Biden's FBI targeting private citizens even though
they may be public officials, but targeting private citizens, private
phone records, and more in an attempt to try to
just find something to take them down with. That's what
(10:17):
this is. This is a classic example of show me
the man and I'll find you his crime. There wasn't
a crime that they were investigating, and they figured, well,
we better go and try to solve it and do
investigative research. No, they just found individuals who were supportive
of the Trump returned to power back then, and individuals
that they could use to manipulate the facts. Well, technically
(10:42):
they're not even manipulated facts. They're creating facts that they
can use to try to stop Donald Trump. And at
the time, of course, they were trying to convict him.
So this is egregious and a huge story. When the
chairman of the Judiciary Committee has his own personal records violated,
this is just getting started. I spoke with Jim Jordan
yesterday morning before this report, not sure if he knew
(11:04):
about it at that time. But I can tell you
he is not going to take this quietly, nor should he. Okay,
we'll have more on that, I promise coming up right now.
It's five eleven. We're going to do trafficking weather. That's
what we're gonna do. We're gonna check into Scout Mine.
Speaker 7 (11:18):
Thank you. Bob.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
Let's check two eighty eight. The South Freeway northbound from
Highway six. We're looking at a twenty eight minute drive
in forty five the Gulf Freeway looking nice so far.
From NASA Road one, it's a twenty three minute drive
into downtown and the Southwest Freeway problem free for the moment.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
From Sugarland Highway six. Now nineteen minutes.
Speaker 6 (11:38):
I'm Skymike in the Generator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
All right, good sir, thank you. And Terry Smith is
in with a look at what could be a very
wet forecast today.
Speaker 20 (11:47):
Terry, Yeah, we're waiting on a cold front to make
its way into southeast Texas and that's going to mean
some rain for us, some needed rain. Two, because we
have had next to no rain this month.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
But right now it.
Speaker 20 (12:01):
Looks like about a sixty percent chance of those showers
and thunderstorms today, the bulk.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Of the rain this afternoon.
Speaker 20 (12:08):
You might see a few sprinkles this morning, but I
think the majority of the rain will get us later today.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
Our temperatures are going to.
Speaker 20 (12:15):
Be in the low to mid eighties, and then you
might see a shower thunderstorm in the morning tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
Otherwise we're dry.
Speaker 20 (12:23):
Tomorrow, temperatures either side of eighty, upper seventies to low eighties.
Even Sunday, we're enjoying a dry day.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
And temperatures close to eighty.
Speaker 20 (12:35):
But there's another storm system that'll bring us some more
rain Tuesday before our Monday to start off a short
work week for some and a little bit of rain
still lingering around on Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
All right, Terry, thank you, And right now we are
counting seventy one degrees at your official severe weather station.
There's radio seven forty ktr AH.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
I live in Pasadena, Sharptown Southwest.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Next on the ten saving traffic con Ktright.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Okay, it is eighteen minutes after five. Good morning about France.
Sitting in for Jimmy So. President Trump is going all
in on the Democrats who recorded a video, all of
them former military personnel, decided to go on video and
advise current military troops to ignore their commander in chief
(13:27):
and to ignore the Secretary of War, to resist and
refuse what they call unlawful orders. Of course, the danger
of this shouldn't have to be stated. Telling every single
member of the military that they can decide what order
is lawful and what is not is very, very dangerous.
So President Trump has responded about as strong as one can,
(13:49):
some say over responding to this, but he has declared
that these individuals are guilty of quote seditious behavior, talking
about these six Democrats, by the way of Congress who
made this video which I'll play for you after traffic
seditious behavior at the highest level. Each one of these
traders to our country should be arrested and put on trial,
(14:12):
he wrote on Truth Social Then later he took it
up a notch and suggested quote seditious behavior punishable by
death with all caps death. Some are responding in the
affirmative saying, yeah, same feelings here. This is exactly what
should happen. This is sedition. This is encouraging an insurrection
(14:36):
against the government. Others are saying you can't do that
to people. These are not active military personnel. These are veterans.
These are not people who are in a position to
tell troops what to do. And secondly, the First Amendment
allows them to say, hey, you can reserve, excuse me,
you can resist or ignore a lawful order if you
believe that's what it is to be.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
So this is just getting started.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
If you didn't hear the video yet, I will play
that for you coming up after we do our traffic
in our weather, which begins right now.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
This guy, Mike, thank you very much.
Speaker 6 (15:05):
Watch out for a stalled vehicle on two eighty eight
southbound at Old Spanish Trail.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
It's a heavy truck and a right shoulder.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
The West Park Tollway has an eastbound stall at Wilchrist
occupying a right shoulder. And Katie Freeway from Grham Parkway
into downtown is twenty six minutes. I'm Skymike, Inthgenerator Supercenter,
dot Com Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
All right, you heard Terry's forecast thunderstorms today, sixty percent
chance of them, heavy and torrential downpours at times. Hig's
going to be in the mid eighties tonight, more scattered
storms developing after midnight. You might wake up to those
overnight low about sixty nine. Saturday Sunday should be dry,
highs in the upper seventies, but then Monday the thunderstorms
return with another front moving through.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Highs in the low eighties.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
And right now we will have seventy one at your
official severe weather station, these Radio seven forty k TRH.
Let's check those headlines now, Cliff Sawders.
Speaker 5 (15:55):

On news Radio seven JTRH. All right, it is five

Speaker 3 (16:33):
The aforementioned video is about ninety seconds long, and listen
to what the Democrats are advising current members of the
active military to do.
Speaker 21 (16:43):
I'm Senator Alissa Sockins.
Speaker 22 (16:45):

Speaker 22 (16:52):
I was a captain in the United States.
Speaker 23 (16:54):
Navy, former CIA officer, former Navy, former paratrooper and Army ranger,
former intelligence SoCs their.
Speaker 21 (17:00):
Former Air Force.
Speaker 22 (17:01):
We want to speak directly to members of the military.
Speaker 24 (17:03):
And the intelligence community to take risks each day keep
Americans safe.
Speaker 21 (17:07):
We know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now.
Americans trust their military, but that trust.
Speaker 7 (17:13):
Is at risk.
Speaker 22 (17:14):
This administration is pitting our uniform military.
Speaker 25 (17:17):
And intelligence community professionals against American citizens like us.
Speaker 22 (17:21):
You all swore an oath to.
Speaker 14 (17:22):
Protect and defend this constitution.
Speaker 13 (17:25):
Right now, the threats to our constitution aren't just coming
from a broad from right here at home.
Speaker 22 (17:29):
Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders.
Speaker 21 (17:33):
You can refuse illegal orders.
Speaker 7 (17:36):
You must refuse illegal orders.
Speaker 19 (17:38):
No one has to carry out orders that violate the
law or our constitution.
Speaker 22 (17:42):
We know this is hard and that it's a difficult
time to be a public servant.
Speaker 21 (17:46):
But whether you're serving in the CIA.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
The Army, or Navy, the Air Force.
Speaker 22 (17:50):
Your vigilance is critical, and know that we have your
back because now more than.
Speaker 21 (17:55):
Ever, the American people need you. We need you to
stand up for our laws, our constitution.
Speaker 22 (18:00):
And who we are as Americans. Don't give up.
Speaker 7 (18:03):
Don't give up.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
Don't give up.
Speaker 21 (18:05):
Don't give up the ship.
Speaker 7 (18:06):
All right.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
So that's the message that these six lunatic democrats, former
servants of the United States military actually for the military
to them deep staters, and it's important to point that
out to that out too. When they say of the
intelligence community, this is what we talk about when we
talk about the deep state. It is kind of interesting
(18:27):
that they're telling military, they're they're trying to make it
sound as though these were all military personnel. But then
then they said, also intelligence agency workers. What on earth
are they talking about? What what unlawful orders have the
current intelligence officers been asked to carry out that would
that would require such a warning or a message from
(18:48):
these individuals. The deep state has already been compromised. The
intelligence agencies filled with individuals, career members of the intelligence
community who have actually been part of the problem, who
have been engaging in illegal activities, who have been engaging
in activities that undermine the authority of the executive branch.
That's what the issue is with the deep state intelligence communities.
(19:11):
But speaking specifically, the four individuals that you just heard
out of the six who were talking to the military
basically telling them to ignore the commander in chief, telling
them to ignore the orders of the Pentagon, saying that
don't give up the ship. You have a responsibility to
stand up here and refuse unlawful orders. Well, I would
(19:32):
like to ask them, and so would a lot of
other people, including Press Secretary.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
Why am I blanking?
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Olive Sach Caroline Lovett, the Press secretary, and I've got
audio of her yesterday at the press conference talking about
the dangers of this, because she's asking, as am I,
what unlawful orders have they been given that would require
such an extraordinary call for seditious activity, call for almost
(19:59):
an insurrection against the government, the refusal of direct orders
given by the unified chain of command? What orders have
they been given that would be considered unlawful? And these
are the questions that a whole lot of people are asking,
including Secretary Pete Hegseth. He's ridiculing this ridiculous message and
(20:21):
It's one thing to ridicule it, because the Democrats give
us so much to ridicule on a regular basis, But
it's another thing to literally point out that there is
activity here that borders on sedition. You can laugh at
these people, make fun of them, call it TDS. That's
(20:43):
what a Secretary of War, Pete hegg Seth called it TDS.
But we have to take it seriously and say they
are literally encouraging maybe other people who are on the
fringe politically, who are wearing a flag patch on their
uniform right now, who may take this seriously and take
it to heart. That's why President Trump has called this
as seriously as he has, you know, a potential threat
(21:04):
to the United States, and said that this is this
is activity that.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
Is punishable by death.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Now the left has taken that up a notch and
said Trump is calling for political violence against these people.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
He is not.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
He didn't say that these people should be killed. He
said this would be punishable if they were tried and
convicted of such things, it would be punishable by death,
which is an accurate statement. But it's a very very
dangerous game now that the left is playing. They already
have inspired enough lunatics in the general population to take
potshots and commit real political violence against people. Now talking
(21:38):
to military members and telling them to ignore the orders
they are given if it suits the Democrats' political purposes.
All right, five twenty seven. Now we're gonna do a
Bloomberg Business Report now and see what's happening moneywise.
Speaker 26 (21:52):
Here is John Tucker. Okay, good morning. We're coming off

Let's get the morning news. Now, here's Cliff Saunders.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Thank you, Bob France, Hope, Paul is Well. Five thirty
one on KGRHR Tom story. Texas is about to see
the biggest Thanksgiving travel search it's ever had. They're expecting
five point eight million people to get out of town.
Almost everyone's going to be driving, which means the roads,
especially on November twenty fifth and twenty six, they're going
to be a mess. But tripaa's Doug Shop says gas
(24:18):
prices won't be.
Speaker 27 (24:20):
Gas prices are going to be very close to what
they were last year, if not a little bit lower
in some cities. Some cities across Texas may see pump
prices a little bit higher, but we're not going to
see a significant difference from last year.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Average gas price across Houston this morning checks in at
two fifty seven a gallon. Two point one million travelers
are expected at Houston's airports over the next week and change.
With the shutdown over Director Jim Sysney access, things are
back to normal.
Speaker 28 (24:48):
We'll be back to our full compliment of TFA lanes
at Iah, So we wouldn't anticipate anything outside of the
normal holiday busyness.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
If you're flying today right now, I'm looking at eleven
delay out of Bush with ten cancellations, five delays out
of Hobby. Part of all this is the storms we're
seeing in other parts of Texas right now. Now. Your
cost for Thanksgiving dinner is also down from last year.
A holiday meal for ten it's going to run you
about fifty five bucks in change. Texas A and M
(25:17):
economist David Anderson says, frozen turkey prices, well, they're down
by sixteen percent.
Speaker 29 (25:22):
It's a conventionally produced frozen turkey that looks like where
the best deal might be.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
He says, frozen turkeys in store package deals off for
the most savings this year. It's now five point thirty three.
The left is still all in on the Epstein files.
Now they're crying that the DOJ isn't going to release
everything they've got because they're protecting Donald Trump. Wisconsin Senator
Ron Johnson says, hey, you know Joe Biden could have
released all of this, but didn't.
Speaker 30 (25:49):
Bad administrations doing everything they couldn't destroy Donald Trump during
their four years. If there's something damsey to Trump, you
would think that would have already been released.
Speaker 5 (25:56):
Johnson with kgrhs Clay Travis and Buck Sexton. House Judiciary
Committee Chair Jim Jordans says his phone records were collected
during Operation Arctic Frost, part of the Justice Department spying
on Republicans after January sixth.
Speaker 31 (26:11):
They gathered information that told them who I called, who
called me, when we called each other, when the call
took place, how long the call was, and where I
was at when I made that call.
Speaker 5 (26:23):
Jordan told Fox he was under surveillance for more than
two years after January sixth, from the deep State to
the Rhinos. New reporting says the Bush family is planning
to take back the Republican Party.
Speaker 32 (26:36):
The Bush Dynasty's long gone and they have no real
standing anymore.
Speaker 33 (26:40):
In the past ten years, no one has been knocking
down the door demanding that a member of the Bush
family be installed in office.
Speaker 32 (26:47):
Political strategist Vlaed Davidicks as Americans have moved on from
the old guard Republican liked the Bushes, and that's mostly
because the old Gopi's gone.
Speaker 5 (26:56):
With America first, the new battle cry.
Speaker 33 (26:58):
You're certainly seeing it with bile looking candidates who are
running for office right now. They're actively tying themselves to
President Trump and his agenda.
Speaker 32 (27:05):
He says, the Bush's opportunities have faded and they have
no new face to back. Andre Parard, News Radio seven
forty kt RH, Thank you, Andre.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
Speaking of the establishment. It said goodbye yesterday to former
Vice President Dick Cheney.
Speaker 34 (27:21):
Dick was funding and easy going in a style that
his public image never caught up with. So we can
all agree what your standard issue politician. If any voters
came hoping for a kind word and a hug, they'd
have to settle for the kind word.
Speaker 5 (27:37):
Former President George W. Bush yesterday. Cheney died last week.
He was eighty four. It's five point thirty five. A
new lawsuit reform bill, backed by multiple Republicans as getting
major pushback from grassroots conservatives who warned about potential consequences.
Speaker 35 (27:52):
You'd be picking where to bring the case, who to name,
not based on judicial consideration.
Speaker 7 (27:58):
The best interest to.
Speaker 35 (27:59):
The party be basing it on these alternative factors that
have nothing to do or should have nothing to do
with the merit.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
Attorney Michael Wynn says that while the bill's intentions are good,
it's got several fatal flaws. Congress is finally taking a
closer look at the violence against Christians in the African
country of Nigeria.
Speaker 36 (28:18):
It is clear Nigerians are being tacked and killed because
of their faith, and then Nigerian government must uphold its
duty to protect them.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
State Department official Jacob McGee at a House Foreign Affairs
Subcommittee hearing yesterday. We also had a hearing on Capitol
Hill about daylight saving time.
Speaker 36 (28:35):
It is clear Nigerians are being tacked and killed because
of their faith, and then Nigerian government must uphold its
duty to protect them.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
A lot to stay on daylight saving time, by the way,
passed during the most recent Texas Legislative Session. Five point

We've got the Long Horn's taking on Arkansas at one

on TCU starts at two a nine point fifty KPRC.
The Aggies, ranked third in the country, host Samford tomorrow
at eleven. We've got Rice taking on North Texas, needing
one win over its last two games to become Bowl eligible.
And I'm Cliff Saunders right here on Houston's news weather
in traffic station is Radio seven forty KTRH. I live
(29:27):
in their park, I live in the Woodlands.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
You're reliable forecast next on the ten on seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
The reports are unconfirmed, but there is a very strong
possibility that this will be the entrance music when Zoron
Mam Donnie walks into the White House a little bit
later today, President Trump is going to be meeting with
Communist mayor elective New York City Zoron Mam Donnie. So
(29:58):
why not come on into the the old Soviet national anthem.
It would certainly make a lot of sense, and it
would not surprise me one iota if President didn't make
that happen soon is Mamdani steps foot into the office,
just blast that music, because that is exactly what he is.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
They like to use the modifiers.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
They being the liberal Democrats who voted for this very
dangerous individual with his very dangerous socialist slash communist ideology
and his Islamist ideology as well, they try to use
the modifiers of democrat. If they put the word democrat
in front of socialist, it makes it a little bit
less socialist.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
No, it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
And they also decide that socialist means it's a little
bit less than communism.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
No, it isn't.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Ask the ogs of communism. Vladimir Lenin was the one
who said the goal of socialism is communism. Socialism is
simply a different branch of the tree. But they are
all coming off of the same tree. And so why
is mom Donnie coming into the White House? He wants
more money. That's why he knows that. President Trump said,
(31:05):
if New York City elects a communist mayor, bad news
for New York. We're not going to be giving federal money,
or at least I won't be a pushing for it. Obviously,
Congress has to decide how money is spent, but Trump
has to sign spending bills. And guess what, that's not
something that we're going to do. So President Trump is
now going to be entertaining a guy who says things
(31:28):
should be free. Everything he can think of, this is
what socialism does. Of course, it promises free stuff for everybody,
which is very appealing to the lazy, and you know,
and to the jealous who want to take things away
from people who have and distribute it equally among those
who have not. So, of course you would think that
(31:49):
he wouldn't have any problem with President Trump not giving
him money, because remember, everything is going to be free.
But he is slowly realizing, you know, we do have
to actually pay for things. We have to pay for
things that we want. That's why two days before he
goes into the White House, which is today to meet
President Trump, recorded a video begging New Yorkers for money.
All of that free stuff not so free. I need
(32:11):
you to pay me for the transition. I need to
raise four million dollars for the transition into the New
York that we want when we take over. So just hypocrisy,
Laidbaer and yes, communist Zoran Mam donnie. I call him
zultar and can call him a lot of things. Some
people call him commie mom Donnie, which works as well.
I wonder what President Trump will call him to his face.
(32:33):
I wonder if I'll say, why are you a communist?
I wonder if he'll use that actual word or phill
you stick with socialist or whatever. But it should be interesting.
Maga meets Mom Donnie in the White House today and
the whole world's gonna be watching five forty and I
will do traffick in weather and we're gonna check in
with mister sky Mite.
Speaker 5 (32:51):
Thank you, Bob.
Speaker 6 (32:52):
Emergency responders around the scene. On I forty five the
north three way southbound at cross Timbers, there's an accident
with a left lane vlow. Four vehicles involved, and we
are stopping go from Tidwell on the southbound lanes East
Freeway eastbound on REMP from Monmouth. That's an on REMP
partially blocked due to a stalled vehicle.
Speaker 5 (33:11):
No big delay in the area.
Speaker 6 (33:12):
And from Baytown in highway make that Sanda Center river Bridge,
twenty two minute drive into downtown. I'm Skymike in the
Ability Tree Experts Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
All right, sir, thank you, and your forecast now comes
from Tierry Smith at the Weather Channel, who's got some
wet news for us.
Speaker 20 (33:28):
Right Terry, indeed, coldfront in the central part of Texas.
It's been a slow mover, but it's inching its way closer,
and so is the rain. Our best chances of rainer
today and tonight, then the rest of the weekend not
looking too bad if you have outdoor plans. We have
scattered showers and thunderstorms today, most of that in the afternoon,
(33:49):
a fifty percent chance that you're going to get wet.
Temperatures today for the most part, will be in the
low to mid eighties. We still are dealing with su
rain tonight, at chance of thunder showers overnight, but then
tomorrow maybe a brief shower, rumble of thunder like a
twenty percent chance of seeing some rain early in the day.
The rest of the day we got some sunshine, but
(34:10):
a little bit of the north early breeze, cooler, temperatures
upper seventies to low eighties Tomorrow and Sunday Sundays dry.
Looks like another round of rain Monday and lingering showers
on Tuesday. So we've got lots of folks who are
taking time off and traveling and getting ready and getting
a little more active across southeast Texas.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
All Right, they'll have to be ready for a little
bit of everything, a little dry, a little wet, and
I'll coming up into a short work week. Thank you,
Terry seventy one. Right now, it's your official severe weather station,
News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 5 (34:44):
I always hit traffic on fifty nine.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
Next on the ten, you're faster commute on seven forty ktrh.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Okay, it is five forty seven.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
So what do Americans think about the current state of
the economy and the afforded question here in the United States?
According to a Fox newspoll, the other thing much of it.
They're not happy at all, some seventy six percent. Again,
this is a Fox News poll, this is one of
the CNN polls or ABC News. Seventy six percent of
the voters view the economy negatively right now, which is
(35:17):
worse than the sixty seven percent who felt that way
in July. Seventy percent felt that way at the end
of Biden's term. Large numbers overall and among Republicans of
people say their costs have gone up on groceries, utilities, healthcare,
and housing, and voters blame the president about twice as
many say President Trump, rather than Biden, is responsible for
(35:40):
the current economy. This despite the fact, of course that
Biden presided over the worst inflation crisis that we have
seen in over fifty years, and the fact that the
federal interest rates refused to be raised. Rather, i should
say the Fed chair has refused to raise the federal
interest rates to give Americans more flexibility to invest in.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Things like houses.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
Three times as many people, though, say Trump's economic policies
have hurt them. That's the same number said the same
thing about Biden, by the way, during his term. But
the bottom line is the economy is in a rough
spot according to three quarters of Americans.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
The question is is are they right.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
Or are these individuals being misled and manipulated by a
media that just over the last forty three days or
over the forty three day period of the federal shutdown,
spent all of that time blaming President Trump for it.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
So we're going to talk about what this really means.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Jackie Balley will join us after we do Traffic and
Weather to talk about the reality of the economy and
what the goals are for the Trump economy moving forward.
So that conversation coming up after we check in with
Skymike here Traffic and Weather pushing up on five fifties.
Speaker 5 (36:48):
Thank you, Bob.
Speaker 6 (36:49):
I forty five north three way southbound at Airline, there's
an accident in a left line. There are four vehicles
involved and a six minute delay southbound.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
Used the Hardy Toll Road as an alternate.
Speaker 6 (36:59):
I'm sky I Mike in the Ability Tree Experts Traffic Center.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
All right, thank you sir.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
We've got rain coming today, some severe thunderstorms, actually torrential downpours,
possibly high around eighty four tonight. More storms developing after
midnight low of sixty nine. Saturday and Sunday are going
to be mostly dry, says Terry Smith. His in the
upper seventies. But then Monday another front comes through, bringing
more thunderstorms with highs in the low eighties. And right
(37:25):
now we are still holding at seventy one degrees at
your official severe weather station, News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
We're going to check those headlines with Cliff Hi. Thanks Bob.
A Texas sheriff has a warning about the lasting impact

Speaker 2 (37:53):

Speaker 7 (37:58):
Next on the ten.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Okay, as promised.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
Now, let's welcome Jackie Valley, a political analyst and policy advisor,
taking a look at this Fox News poll.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Jackie, good morning, Thanks for having me. It's good to
have you.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
So voters aren't real thrilled right now, according to what
the Fox News survey show. Then they're saying that the
high cost that they are seeing in certain areas of
our economy are the president's fault.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
What do you make of that.
Speaker 37 (38:26):
It's human nature to blame whomever is in leadership for
whatever the economic downturn is at that time. That's usually
the trend that's happened. We've seen that in years past.
But let's be clear, the economic storm or the downturn
that we're seeing right now, it's based on years of spending,
regulation and inflation. It's not something that just started in
(38:50):
twenty twenty five. And the President has been very good
creating a platform of fiscal discipline, low taxes, energy intervended
and strong job creation. What he has to do, and
what Republican leadership has to do is to go back
to that and emphasize that to reassure voters that the
(39:11):
decision they made in re electing the president is a
good one.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
There are select items, especially when it comes to the
grocery side of things and costs. Bananas, people have talked
about beef, meat in general. Coffee is a lot higher,
and President Trump looks like he's trying to target those
particular items by lowering terrorists from the countries that produce
some of those things coming in. Why do you suppose
it is that only certain items are much more expensive
(39:38):
that might be leading people to think that their overall
grocery bills are higher.
Speaker 37 (39:43):
Well, I think what you mentioned earlier with the messaging,
the president is focused on certain tears and certain issues,
and that's the price difference that we're seeing that we're
feeling the impact of. But we're not getting the message
that he's really focused on prioritizing affordable groceries, even affordable housing.
That message is not getting to the typical voter, definitely
(40:05):
not through mainstream media. And what the President and others
have to do is to emphasize what this teriff regulation
that he has emphasized in putting Americans first, how the
ultimate outcome he said it was going to be a
little rough before it got better, and how the ultimate
outcome will be better prices overall.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
When when President Trump ran for reelection or election a
second time, you know, the largest part of the message, well,
there are two messages. One was border and the other
was the economy. The other was affordability and inflation. You know,
we called it Biden inflation because for four years it
was an absolute nightmare for people, and that's one of
the reasons why he won. Why do you think it
(40:45):
is that suddenly now just ten months in, they're giving
Biden a pass. They came in saying, you know, voters
came into this term saying, yeah, we wanted to get
Biden out of there, or Biden's policies then reflected in
Kamala Harris's candidacy, we didn't like that. But now so
they're longing for the days of Biden inflation.
Speaker 7 (41:04):
Not quite again.
Speaker 37 (41:05):
People are looking for someone to blame, and you know,
the results are not happening as quickly as they thought
that they should or it's not happening as quickly as
they want. Look, this is a time to sharpen the
message and to accelerate the agenda. This is not a
calling on a negative Trump politics or saying that Trump
politics are not doing what they're supposed to do. This
(41:29):
is a referendum to say, look, we are not happy
with the grocery prices and we need to do something.
And Republicans need to sharpen their message and say this
is exactly what the platform is going to do and
how it's going to help us in the future. We
like we said, he was just in office for a
couple of twenty twenty five is not even over yet.
So to have a referendum on President Trump and blame
(41:52):
him for issues that we're having now, even though we've
had these issues for several years, it's not really very rational.
Speaker 3 (41:59):
No, and it's not fair either. I would say Jackie
Jackie Bally as our guess. Last one is on gas,
fifty four percent said gasoline prices are higher this year.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
I don't understand that. I don't see it.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
And President Trump of court made that, of course, made
that a priority in his campaign.
Speaker 4 (42:15):
Drill, baby, drill, We're going to unleash.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
American energy the way we had it during the first term.
Those things don't happen overnight. Changing policies takes some time,
and then actually implementing some of those policies takes time too.
But why do you think that Americans think their gas
prices are higher now than they work for the last
four years.
Speaker 37 (42:33):
Ever, you have a downturn or a slump in the economy,
you start picking on certain things. Gas is something that
we have to use, something that we have to put
in our cars. Groceries is something that we have to buy.
We have to put them in our homes, and so
those are the two that we're going to drill down
on the most if we don't see a sharp decline.
Lower energy costs is something that President Trump was very
(42:56):
successful with in his first term, and it's something that
he's down that he will be successful with in his
second term.
Speaker 15 (43:03):
So of course we're if we.
Speaker 37 (43:05):
Don't see that immediate downturn in those prices, we are
going to complain. Until that happens, we are still going
to complain. So that's why you're seeing people that continue
even when it was started as the ending of the
Biden administration and now it's continuing into this.
Speaker 7 (43:21):
One, the downturn.
Speaker 37 (43:22):
You probably won't see him till his third year, and
that will be markedly very successful going into a re
election of another Republican presidency.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
So, in other words, pack your patients, voters, pack your patients.
Things are working, It's going to take a little bit
of time. You don't break things, and you know Biden
didn't break it in a blank if and I took
four years to destroy things as badly as either, it's
going to take a little time to dig out.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
Of that whole.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
Jackie Balley, political analyst and policy advisor. Jackie, thank you
so much, and happy early Thanksgiving to you, Simmy, to you,
thanks for having me. All right, It is five fifty six. Now,
this is Houston's morning News.
Speaker 7 (44:00):
Is Use Radio seven kt RH Houston Drive Everywhere with FIA.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Now the latest news, weather and drafting. It's more of
what matters to you. From the John Morris Services Studios.
Speaker 3 (44:14):
A Democrat on Houston City Council wants to end HPD's
cooperation with Ice and MAGA meets a communist mom. Donnie
visits the White House today. Good morning, I'm Bob Branston
for Jimmy Barrett. This is your six o'clock report on
news radio seven forty KRH, and Cliff Saunders has the
news after we check the drive with Skyline.
Speaker 6 (44:32):
Emergency responders are still working on our accident on I
forty five the North Freeway southbound at cross Timbers. It's
taking up a left lane. There's a ten minute delay
on the southbound side. Let's use the Hardy Toll World

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Scattered storms today, some heavy rains possible out a sixty
percent chance of that high of eighty four, a little
bit more tonight, overnight low of sixty nine.
Speaker 4 (45:05):
Dry weekend, but then back to it. I'll let Terry
give you.
Speaker 3 (45:08):
The specifics coming up at six ten, and right now
we have seventy one degrees at your official severe weather station.
News Radio seven forty KTRH all the morning news. Here's Cliff,
Thank you, Bob. It is six p' oh one on
ktr H.
Speaker 5 (45:21):
We're sponsored by shop As Farm Supply Our top story
is the lasting impact of the Biden border disaster.
Speaker 23 (45:27):
Gulliad County Sheriff Roy Boyd says the border may be closed,
but illegal immigrants who came during the Biden administration are
still here, and he says they're basically slaves to the
cartels who smuggled them across the border.
Speaker 10 (45:39):
If you think these indentured people can just decide not
to cooperate, that is not the case.
Speaker 23 (45:44):
She told lawmakers during a Capitol Hill hearing that law
enforcement must change the way it goes after the cartels,
and that includes empowering local cops to make immigration arrests.
Speaker 5 (45:55):
Ktr h's Beth byers there a recent immigration rate in
San Antonio resulted in more than two dozen people arrested
with ties to trend dei Ragua. Texas Congressman Tony Gonzalez says,
this is what you get when law enforcement works together,
when you.
Speaker 15 (46:10):
Put state, local and federal resources together. This is exactly
what works, and we need more of it.
Speaker 5 (46:16):
And in Houston, ice arrested more than thirty five hundred
illegals during the Schumer shutdown. Many had criminal records. Despite this,
the Houston Chronicle reports that city council Member Letitia Plummer
is proposing to stop HPD from working with ICE.
Speaker 9 (46:33):
It's a lot of red flags, for sure, and we're
talking about a wide range of reasons why someone could have.
Speaker 5 (46:38):
A warrant out for their arrest.
Speaker 9 (46:40):
So to just blanketly say that we won't wait for
ICE to come, I think that's really dangerous.
Speaker 5 (46:46):
Council Member Amy Peck says the proposal is dangerous. We
reached out to councilwoman Plumbers off as she did not respond. Elsewhere,
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has ordered DPS to launch a
criminal investigation into both the Muslim Brotherhood and Care. What
that designation does.
Speaker 32 (47:04):
It prohibits them from being able to buy or own
property in the state of Texas.
Speaker 5 (47:11):
Abodon Fox Care sued the governor for designating them a
foreign terrorist group. It is now six 'zho three on KTRH.
President Trump meets with New York City Mayor elect zoron
Mom Donnie today. Keep in mind, Mom Donnie was on
a month's long crusade against Trump during the campaign.
Speaker 32 (47:28):
My team reached out to the White House to set
up this meeting because I will work with anyone to
make life more affordable for the more than eight and
a half million people who call the city home.
Speaker 5 (47:38):
Yeah, but this is why the meeting is really happening.
Speaker 7 (47:40):
Mom.
Speaker 5 (47:41):
Donnie knows he needs federal funding, and he knows he
can only get it from Trump. Socialist Katie Wilson says
she no longer needs her parents to help her out
with the bills now that she's mayor of Seattle, but
she also said she had no problem taking the cash
from her parents during the campaign.
Speaker 38 (47:57):
A lot of people of my generation and younger and
older found it very relatable that during this stressful campaign,
you know, my parents chipped in to help to pay
for the cost of their granddaughter's daycare, and I think,
you know, families help each other out.
Speaker 5 (48:10):
Wilson on Sea and by the way, she's forty three
years old, six oh four on KTRH New Fox. Pollie
finds that nearly eighty percent of voters view the economy
in a negative light. Political analyst Jeff Carreer says the
Fed isn't doing President Trump any favors.
Speaker 14 (48:27):
We need to see more interest rate reductions as well,
because you don't have people that are able to buy
houses because of very high mortgage rates. When President Trump
left office in twenty twenty one, interest rates were two
point seven five percent.
Speaker 5 (48:40):
Today it's more than double that. He adds that the
overall inflation rate is much better than it was under
Joe Biden, but the White House has to do a
better job of getting that message out there. The September
jobs report was way better than expected, with one hundred
and nineteen thousand jobs. This is being called an example
of the Trump economy being far better than it's being
given credit for. People are under hyping this economy big time.
(49:04):
We're seeing huge investment numbers. We're seeing great consumer spending numbers.
I mean, if consumers are.
Speaker 17 (49:09):
So dollar, why are they all running out spending money
at such.
Speaker 4 (49:12):
A brisk pace.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
Economist Steve Moore on Fox Business down futures around one
hundred and seven points this morning. Texas Congressman Chip Roy
says there's resistance on Capitol Hill to the effort to
crack down on stock trading by members of Congress.
Speaker 11 (49:26):
I don't think they understand that the American people are
tired of, you know, members of Congress day trading and
riching themselves.
Speaker 5 (49:32):
Roy with Breitbart he'll join us at seven twenty investors
are starting to temper their expectations for an interest rate
cut next month. That's because the Bureau of Labor Statistics
announced a new schedule of data releases and the October
jobs report isn't on it.
Speaker 7 (49:49):
We don't know where things are.
Speaker 39 (49:51):
We've been cutting and we should finish the cutting cycle
or keep going with the cutting cycle, because again the
fourth quarter genie will taken a definite.
Speaker 7 (50:01):
Hit from the shutdown.
Speaker 5 (50:03):
Treasury Secretary Scott Besson says after the shutdown will impact things.
The November jobs reporter is being pushed back to mid
December after the Federal Reserve concludes its final policy meeting
of the year. Six six Davis Mills two touchdown passes.
The defense picked up eight sacks of Josh Allen. The
Texans beat Buffalo twenty three to nineteen.
Speaker 40 (50:22):
You understand the moment, and they're ready for those moments.
And they went out and they prove you know why
they were ready for those moments. Everybody was calm, everybody
played together, everybody was exactly where they're supposed to be.
Speaker 5 (50:34):
Coach Demiko Ryan's the team now six and five. The
Rockets host the Nuggets tonight. Their winning streak of five
games on the line coverage at seven thirty on Sports
Talk seven ninety. I'm Cliff Saunders on Houston's news, weather
and traffic station, News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
For the importance events of today, control our capital City,
shack ye and something with Putin we can make a
deal events in my day to day on news Radio
seven KTRH.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
All right, good morning once again. I'm Bob fran sitting
in for Jimmy Barrett. It's seven minutes after six o'clock
on this Friday, the twenty first morning of the eleventh
month in the year of Our Lord, twenty twenty five.
So can we do Can we do the jazzy thing
real quick? DJ Jazzy Crockett has I don't know how
she hasn't gotten the message that the first rule when
(51:22):
you are in a hole is to stop digging. She
dug herself a pretty bad one when she went in
in defense of Stacey Plasket and declared that Jeffrey Epstein
made a whole bunch of donations to Republicans on Wednesday,
but then yesterday she just kept on digging. She went
on CNN. Actually this is on Wednesday night. She went
on CNN and said she never said it was that Jeffreys.
Speaker 25 (51:43):
Starting Republicans taking money from a Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaker 41 (51:46):
Here's what you said, who also took money from somebody
named Jeffrey Epstein. As I had my team digg in
very quickly met Romney, the NRCC Liezelle, George Bush. When
Ray McCain, palin Rick.
Speaker 25 (52:06):
Lazio, you mentioned the Lezelden there, he's now a cabinet secretary,
he responded and said it was actually a doctor Jeffrey Epstein,
who's a doctor that doesn't have any relation to the
convicted sex trucker. Unfortunate for that doctor, but that is
who do it to a prior campaign of his.
Speaker 21 (52:22):
Do you want to correct the record on the people?
Speaker 41 (52:24):
And I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein,
just so that people understand when you make a donation,
your picture is not there. And because they decided to
spring this on us in real time, I wanted the
Republicans to think about what could potentially happen because I
knew that they didn't even try to go through the FEC.
So my team what they did is they googled. And
that is specifically why I said a Jeffrey Epstein, unlike Republicans,
(52:46):
I at least don't.
Speaker 5 (52:47):
Go out and just tell lies.
Speaker 41 (52:49):
Because it was not the same one.
Speaker 21 (52:51):
That's fine.
Speaker 41 (52:51):
But when Lee Zelden had something to say, all he
had to say was it was a different Jeffrey Jeffrey.
Speaker 3 (52:56):
Epstein, he kind of did, and he called you what
you are, which an overwhelming stampede of stupid. In the process,
he said, no relation, you're an idiot. He didn't say
you're an idiot. I'll add to you're an idiot. Jazzy
Crockett is an idiot. She happens to, sadly though, be
the very best that the Democrat Party has to offer
right now. How do we know that, because she's literally
(53:18):
the only one that is on camera every five seconds.
She is the one that they have trotting out there
sharing their message, and her message was that a Jeffrey Epstein.
Some Jeffrey Epstein made contributions to Republicans. Therefore they are
just as guilty as Stacy Plaskin of colluding and coordinating
it during a congressional hearing, a committee hearing with the
(53:41):
Jeffrey Epstein. I've never said it was that Jeffrey Epstein
then why would you bring it up at all if
you didn't think it was that Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaker 41 (53:48):
He admitted that he did receive donations from a Jeffrey Epstein,
So at least I wasn't trying to mislead people.
Speaker 5 (53:54):
You weren't trying to mislead people.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
Why would you bring it up if it was a
different Jeffrey Epstein. The bottom line is she tried to
flex her team's research powers. My team, My team went
out there and they checked, and they found that Leez
Elden and Mitt Romney and Wyn Read and all these
other Republicans and Republican causes took money from Jeffrey Epstein,
and her cracked team of researchers didn't take note of
(54:19):
the dr before Jeffrey Epstein. It stands for doctor and
the Jeffrey Epstein, which was the subject of the hearing
that Stacy Plaskett was in as she was potentially being
censured for coordinating and colluding with him. That Jeffrey Epstein
was no doctor. Also, Jeffrey Epstein died.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
In twenty nineteen.
Speaker 3 (54:41):
The FEC filing her cracked team of researchers so quickly
googled up that those contributions were made, or at least
the one to Leez Elden was made in twenty twenty,
so it didn't take a genius to figure out that
it wasn't the same one. But she wants you to
know she really wasn't trying to mislead the public by
bringing up the name of a doctor who is not
(55:02):
the Epstein Island serial pedophile and human trafficker and sext trafficker.
But she brought it up during the Epstein hearing for
Stacey Plaskett just for kicks. I suppose, honestly, if this
is the best that we are going to continue to
send to Congress, and god forbid, to the Senate from Texas,
we got problems. Six to eleven. I'm sorry about that.
(55:24):
Sky Mike is on deck here. Let's take a look
at the traffic, Thank.
Speaker 5 (55:27):
You, Bob.
Speaker 6 (55:28):
We have an accident on the Katie Freeway inbound eastbound
at the Grand Parkway exit. This is two right lanes
blocked and a right shoulder. It involves an eighteen wheeler
and there's a three minute eastbound delay. East Sam Houston
Parkway southbound on the toll Bridge southbound, it's an accident
at two twenty five. Traffic's backed up in extra ten
minutes coming down from ient Southwest Freeway northbound. Emergency responders
(55:51):
are now on the scene at Wesleyan. They're taking up
two left lanes and there's a two minute backup from
the west Loop six to ten and the left lane
is still blocked on the North Freeway forty five southbound
at cross Timbers. You're slow as you go from Little York.
Take the Hardy Toll Road as your alternate. I'm skylike
and the Generator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (56:10):
All right, thank you, Terry Smith that the Weather Channel
has a look at the forecast for us.
Speaker 20 (56:13):
Hello, Terry, Hey, good morning. Well, we are watching the radar.
We're on radar watch because.
Speaker 5 (56:19):
We want some rain.
Speaker 20 (56:21):
And the good part about this is it's just a
quick dose of rain today and tonight, and then the
weekend's looking good before we get more wet weather early
next week. Right now, things are fairly quiet. I'm seeing
a few showers just north of Bay City. The bulk
of the wet weather as well to the north of US.
For the time being, fifty percent chance of showers and
(56:42):
thunderstorms today, most of that in the afternoon load of
mid eighties today, a forty percent chance of thunderstorms tonight
than a brief shower Tomorrow morning will turn out sunny.
Sunday is also a dry day. Also a little bit cooler,
mid to upper seventies by Sunday, and then sixty percent
chance that you'll get wet on Monday.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
Alrighty, thank you, Terry, and right now still seventy one
at your official severe weather station, News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
I live in clear Lake, Humble, reliable KTRH traffic and weather.
Speaker 7 (57:16):
Next on the ten.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
Okay seven nineteen Now, Bob Frans, excuse me, six nineteen.
I got to get the right hour in the right
time zone, six nineteen. Right now, Bob Frands, sitting in
for Jimmy Barrett, were going to look into this one
of the lead stories that Cliff's been giving you this morning,
and that is the leaked memo from a member of
Houston City Council saying we want to get the cops
away from helping ice. They don't like that, at least some.
(57:41):
We're going to talk about that in the moment, but
first it is six twenty, so we'll do traffic leven
check it out with sky Mike.
Speaker 6 (57:46):
Heavy delays on the East Sam Houston Tollway Ship Channel
Bridge southbound. That's an accident taking up a left lane
and we're stopping and going from iten southbound Southwest Freeway
cruise have just cleared erect at Wesleyan on the inbound
and we're almost back to posted speeds. I'm Skymike and
the generators Supercenter dot Com Traffic Center.
Speaker 4 (58:06):
All right, thanks sir.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
Scattered storms today, some torrential downforce at times are possible
hive around eighty four tonight. More storms developing after midnight
low of sixty nine. Should be dry for Saturday and
Sunday highs in the upper seventies, than more rain and
storms returning on Monday with highs in the low eighties.
Right now, we'll count seventy one degrees at your official
(58:27):
severe weather station, news Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 4 (58:30):
And we'll also give you the headlines, right.
Speaker 5 (58:32):
Cliff, Thank you, Bobby.
Speaker 35 (58:33):
We will.
Speaker 5 (58:33):
Headlines are sponsored by National Land Partners. Four people are detained,
three charged during a raid in an after hours bar
in North Harrison County overnight. The CDC website now says
the claim that vaccines do not cause autism, are quote
not evidence based. And tomorrow night's powerball jackpot six hundred
twenty nine million dollars at the latest News anytime at
(58:54):
KTRH dot com. Our next update is at six thirty.
Speaker 1 (58:58):
All day Update yours.
Speaker 17 (59:00):
I bring you good news, this vital information, what you need.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
To know now on Youth Radio seven KTRH Okay, twenty
one minutes after the hour.
Speaker 3 (59:11):
So, yeah, we were hoping to catch up with a
council member, Amy Peck, but we may not be able
to make that connection happen here. But I'll tell you
what we're talking about, and it's one of the lead stories,
this council proposal that was leaked which would essentially stop
used in police cooperation with ICE, which has been very,
very strong, and there have been a lot of arrests
(59:32):
made of illegal aliens, most of them criminal. Just like
I think what Tom Oman and President Trump and others
have echoed what they said when they ran for office
is exactly what they're delivering.
Speaker 4 (59:43):
The worst.
Speaker 3 (59:44):
First, over seventy percent of the illegal aliens who have
been detained and deported during this first ten months of
the Trump administration have been criminal, illegal aliens, thirty percent
others who were swept up because maybe they were in
the visity of the targets, the targeted criminal illegal aliens.
It's why Tom Holm and the borders are and the
(01:00:05):
Deportation Task Force chief has continued to say, look, sanctuary cities,
if you don't want us going into the communities and
getting other people who were not the actual targets, will
then hold them for us. Have your police departments and
your sheriff's departments hold people when we issue detainers. If
you hold them in your jail, we'll come by and
(01:00:26):
pick them up. We want to have to go into
the communities and then encounter a bunch of other illegals
then and away we go. So that's kind of the situation.
And there's obviously been a very very strong ICE presence
in Houston, and the city council member, according to what
we learned from the Chronicle, the Houston Chronicle and the
Cliff has been covering for us as council Member Letitia
(01:00:46):
Plumber or Letitia Plumber essentially saying police officers should have
discretion as to whether or not to call Ice during
traffic stops, and potentially they would like the law to
read or the rules right relations and policies to say
that the police should not be able to detain the
individuals who are stopped for traffic violations and wait for
(01:01:10):
ice to arrive. We believe our police officers are peace officers,
said Plumber. They're there to protect, and the last thing
you want when you're calling a police officer for help
is to not get the help that you need. The
current rules force officers to cooperate with federal immigration authorities
in all cases. So what Plumber wants essentially is for
(01:01:33):
the police to be able to It's you know, it's
not this similar from the story we've been talking about
this morning about the six Democrats on Capitol Hill making
that video telling military you don't have to follow the rules.
You don't have to obey the orders of your superiors
if you don't like them, or if you don't think
that they're lawful orders. Basically, every man for himself, you
(01:01:53):
decide what you want to do in each case.
Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
That's what this.
Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
Proposal from Plumber essentially says. She said it was designed
to give HPD the discretion to engage only if necessary,
allowing them to make arrest for violent offenses, but not
to and here are those words again that they like
to use separate families when officers come across someone with
(01:02:18):
immigration status, meaning with illegal immigration status. Law enforcement agencies
nationwide Rights the Chronicle have struggled with how to respond
after ICE officials added more than seven hundred thousand administrative
warrants to a national warrant database as part of the
immigration crackdown. The mayor Mayor what Meyer has argued, the
city is obligated to call ICE, and the police departments
(01:02:41):
are handling the warrants like any other agency, and that
certainly would be keeping with the keeping with the policies
that the city has and that the administration federally have requested.
They want all cities to cooperate with them. And you
know what, to be truthful, this is about the first
time that I've first example, I think that I've ever
(01:03:02):
really heard of different levels of police or law enforcement
working against one another rather than with one another, typically speaking,
if a local cities police department has something they need
to get done and that it requires the collaboration and
the cooperation of the county sheriffs.
Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
They get it.
Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
And if the county sheriffs or the city police need
help from the state police, they get it. And if
the state police needs help with the FEDS federal law enforcement,
they get it. It's typically a unified effort. Everybody, everybody
wearing a badge is essentially taking the same oath to
protect and serve. They don't work in contravention with one another.
Which is why this memo is and should be really alarming.
(01:03:47):
The idea that a member of city council wants to
float something that says, no, don't work with the federal officers,
work against their interests. That is just that's not protecting
and serving, at least not by my definition. All Right,
it is six twenty six. We're going to get a
Bloomberg Business report now and see what's happening on Wall
Street after a good jobs report yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:04:08):
Here is John Tucker. Heay, good morning.
Speaker 26 (01:04:11):
Yesterday, the S and P five hundred long, its biggest
inter day reversals since April. In Video's earnings initially pushed
markets higher, but before the end of the day, fears
returned over lofty stock prices and AI spending. I'm John Zucker,

Texas is about to see the biggest Thanksgiving travel week
it's ever had, and proof that the Trump economy is
actually working despite the polls. Thanksgiving dinner is going to
cost you last next week. Good morning on Bob Frans
and for Jim. Cliff Sanders has the details on those
stories and more coming right up.
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
But first we're going to check the.
Speaker 5 (01:05:04):
Traffic, and I mean sky Mike, Thank you, Bob.
Speaker 6 (01:05:06):
We just cleared an accent off the East Sam Houston
Parkway southbound toll bridge over the Ship Channel at two
twenty five. That's out of the way now there is
a thirty nine minute pack up on the southbound lanes
North Freeway. Clear the accent at cross Timbers. Still a
little thick from Tidwell southbound. Use the Hardy Toll Road
as your alternate. I'm Skymike in the Ability Tree Experts
(01:05:28):
Traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (01:05:30):
And your forecast calls for a lot of rain today,
scattered thunderstorms, some of them very heavy. High around eighty
four tonight, more storms developing after midnight low of abot
excuse me. Overnight I'd drop down to about sixty nine
and should be dry for the weekend. But I'll let
Terry Smith give you the specifics coming up at seven.
I'm sorry, six forty Right now, we're looking at seventy
(01:05:52):
one degrees at your official severe weather station. News Radio
seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 4 (01:05:56):
Now now of the morning news. Here's Cliff, Thank you, Bob.
Speaker 5 (01:05:58):
It is six thirty one on kh our top story
this morning. Here's to prove that the Trump economy is
not as bad as the mainstream media wants you to think.
The cost of your Thanksgiving dinner it's down five percent
from last year.
Speaker 18 (01:06:10):
A Thanksgiving meal for ten people can cost fifty five
dollars and eighteen cents. That's five dollars and fifty two
cents a person, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation.
Economist David Anderson says the pricing for the meal staples
are a mixed bag.
Speaker 29 (01:06:26):
Some things seem to be a good deal, some things
are more expensive than they were, and on the turkey side,
it depends on what kind of turkey you like.
Speaker 18 (01:06:32):
Henderson says fresholesale turkeys have seen a spike.
Speaker 29 (01:06:36):
They've been hit by bird flu that's wiped out a
lot of turkeys.
Speaker 18 (01:06:40):
He says, if you want to save frozen is the
way to go down sixteen percent. I'm Erica Smith News
Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 5 (01:06:48):
And then there's travel. Houston's airports are bracing for a
massive surge of travelers for the season. The good news
is the shutdown is over and things are pretty much
back to the way they used to be.
Speaker 28 (01:06:57):
The new International terminal, do you occurs are all available there,
You've got the Uber lift there, You've got your shuttle buses,
you've got your rental car parking to have the ability
to use all the new infrastructure with the new buildings,
and that's also got our new tsa checkpoint here too.
Speaker 5 (01:07:11):
Houston Airports Director Jim sysney X says, as of today,
all checkpoints are open and by the way, they're expecting
over two million passengers this season. That said, because of
storms and parts of Texas, we've got seven delayed flights
out of Hobby. I'm looking at twelve out of Bush
with ten flights canceled so far today. Texas is also
staring down two of its roughest travel days of the
(01:07:33):
year next week in Rix, predicting gridlock on the twenty
fifth and twenty six people head out on the road
for Turkey Day.
Speaker 27 (01:07:41):
Well, Triple A Texas is projecting five point eight million
people here in the lone Star state will be traveling
fifty miles or more away from home from Tuesday, November
twenty fifth through Monday, December first.
Speaker 5 (01:07:52):
DOUG shoot with Triple A Texas says roughly three hundred
and twenty eight thousand Texans will fly, another one hundred
and forty thousand will travel by bus. Surreal, by the way,
gasoline is averaging two fifty seven across the area this morning,
six thirty three. In Washington, Radical Texas Democrat Congresswoman Jasmine
Crockett still taking heat for linking eight Jeffrey Epstein to
(01:08:13):
then New York Congressman Lee Zelden. The only problem is
it wasn't that Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaker 7 (01:08:20):
In this case.
Speaker 42 (01:08:21):
They say there's no picture of the donor Jeffrey Epstein. Well,
that's true on fec dot gov. But what it does
say for occupation is that this person was a physician.
What it does say is the date of the donation,
and data donation was after that other Jeffrey Epstein was
already dead.
Speaker 5 (01:08:38):
Zelden on Fox, you can't make this stuff up. Crockett,
though still making excuses saying she never said it was
the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Eric Trump says this
was clean up on Aisle Crockett.
Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
It was maybe the most foolish and silly excuse ever.
Speaker 28 (01:08:54):
And I think that's going to live in the halls
of YouTube.
Speaker 7 (01:08:57):
That clip, you know, in infamy.
Speaker 5 (01:09:00):
Speaking of unhinged debs, they literally called the Capitol Police
claiming that the President threatened them over their video where
they told our military to ignore illegal orders.
Speaker 43 (01:09:12):
We had patriotic members of the House and the Senate
have their lives threatened by Donald Trump and the most unhinged, unacceptable, unconsonable,
and Unamerican.
Speaker 5 (01:09:26):
Way House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffrey six thirty five. Now
it's not only unhinged Dems. The establishment Republicans continue to
target Trump. There's a new report saying the Bush family
wants to take back the GOP. Political strategis fled to
vidios as Americans have moved on from the Bush dynasty
and have hitched their wagon to Mega.
Speaker 33 (01:09:47):
The Republican voters have moved on from establishments country club
Republican politics, and they're much more strongly aligned within America
First Agenda, which President Trump and many Republican members of
Congress represents so ably and capably.
Speaker 5 (01:10:03):
He says, the Bushes have no momentum. There's also a
new bill making the rounds in Washington, the Litigation Transparency
Act of twenty twenty five, to require anyone receiving a
payment in a lawsuit to disclose their identity.
Speaker 8 (01:10:17):
A number of grassroots conservative groups have signed a letter
opposing the bill.
Speaker 35 (01:10:20):
I think that there may be good intentions, this is
one of the most poorly reasoned how bills I have seen.
Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
In a long time.
Speaker 8 (01:10:28):
Attorney Michael Winn says this bill could have a number
of unintended consequences in the legal world.
Speaker 35 (01:10:33):
What's going to happen is flateral damage, that is, increase
in litigation cost fighting what court a case should be
brought in.
Speaker 8 (01:10:42):
He says, things like forum shopping are already an issue
in the legal world, so there's no need to make
it worse. Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven forty KTRH Now

Close Saunders on Houston's news, weather and traffic station, News
Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Stay in touch on your drive in with Jimmy Barrett
and the Houston Morning News team.
Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
All right, six thirty seven, Now, as we continue on
Houston's Morning News, Good morning once again, I'm Bob Fran
sitting in for Jimmy and Happy Friday. I can't believe
we have to say this, but just a quick follow up.
On Cliff's newscast, there the part about the Democrats suggesting
that President Trump is calling for, you know, some sort
(01:11:59):
of a crime to be committed against the six lunatic
Democrats who are trying to advise modern active military personnel
to ignore orders from the Commander in chief, ignore orders
from the Secretary of War, ignore orders from their superiors
if they think they're unlawful. I'm looking at this all
(01:12:19):
over the internet too. Cliff is right, these people are
just lunatics. They're saying that Donald Trump should be called
out for trying to encourage political violence because he said
that those six Democrats who made that video should face
treason and the death penalty.
Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
He's pointing out.
Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
That the penalty for treason is the death penalty, and
for some reason, not for some reason, for obvious reasons,
because they're lunatic Democrats. And I'm sorry to be as
direct about that as I am, but these people are
absolutely outside.
Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
Of their minds.
Speaker 3 (01:12:57):
These people seem to think that the death penalty is
the same thing as executing someone in political violence. In fact,
I'm looking online and I'm saying countless Democrats saying, oh,
I thought that Mega and the Republicans said after Charlie
Kirk that we weren't supposed to talk about killing each
other anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
Wait a minute.
Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
First of all, Charlie Kirk was murdered. Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
Charlie Kirk was literally a victim of political violence. Donald
Trump is talking about the law. The law says that
if you are convicted of treason or sedition, that you
can be executed by the state. So apparently according to
(01:13:42):
the loons, And I'm trying to respond to some of
these people, and I know it's completely pointless because it
doesn't matter how many. It's kind of like Jasmine Crockett situation.
It doesn't matter what the facts are. They have made
up their minds and they're going to run with it.
But no, the state executing somebody who has been convicted
of a capital crime in a death penalty case is
not the same thing as murdering a man sitting behind
(01:14:04):
a table holding a microphone and talking with other people. No,
that is that is not political violence. Personally, I wouldn't
have truth social posted what President Trump did. I don't
think of what was necessary at this particular point in
time to say death penalty, you know, would be on
the table for these individuals. But he is most certainly
(01:14:27):
not calling for crimes. He is most certainly not calling
for political violence. He is pointing out that the law
is the law, and it says what it says. And yes,
if these people were ever to be arrested, if they
were ever to be charged with, you know, a conspiracy
to commit sedition or treason or insurrection, that the penalty
could be death.
Speaker 4 (01:14:48):
That is all he is saying.
Speaker 3 (01:14:50):
And the idea that this is somehow related to the
political violence problem in this country right now, it's just
like I said, it's very, very frustrating that we have
to say these very basic elementary things. Okay, six forty nine,
let's do traffic and weather once again. We'll check in
here with Skyline.
Speaker 5 (01:15:06):
Thank you, Bob.
Speaker 6 (01:15:06):
Let's clear the accident off the East Sam Houston Parkway
southbound Ship Channel toll Bridge at.
Speaker 5 (01:15:11):
Two twenty five.
Speaker 6 (01:15:12):
That's out of the way now, and there's still an
eight minute delay southbound. We've got an accident cleared forty five.
The North Freeway southbound at cross Timbers still stop and go.
Speaker 5 (01:15:22):

us for the forecast.
Speaker 5 (01:15:42):
Good morning, Terry, Yeah, good morning.
Speaker 20 (01:15:45):
I'm hanging around because I'm sitting here keeping my eye
on the radar and just watching when this rain is
going to make its way into our.
Speaker 5 (01:15:53):
Part of Texas.
Speaker 20 (01:15:54):
We had soap yesterday in central Texas, up around the
Dallas area. I'm going to get necessarily soaked, but hopefully
some beneficial rains around here. A fifty percent chance of
showers and thunderstorms today. I think most of that will
be in the afternoon. I have seen some light showers
just north of Matagorda Bay and off to the southwest
(01:16:15):
side of the city. Nothing too problematic so far this morning.
Temperatures today still warm, almost record warmth.
Speaker 5 (01:16:23):
In a few places. Lit to mid eighties today.
Speaker 20 (01:16:26):
Forty percent chants of thundershowers todight Tomorrow. We might get
a brief shower in the morning. I think we're going
to see the dryer air moving pretty quickly tomorrow, so overall,
a dry Saturday and Sunday upper seventies to low eighties. Tomorrow,
I think Sunday most of us will be in the
mid to upper seventies, just a little bit cooler.
Speaker 5 (01:16:45):
But then we've got more rain early.
Speaker 20 (01:16:46):
Next week Monday and Tuesday, and then eventually next week, Bob,
I think we're going to get a big dose of
some colder weather.
Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
Well, well, you know what, it would actually be a
little more seasoned. Both It was a little chiller on Thanksgiving.
That's right, all right, thank you, good stuff, Terry. And
right now we are sitting at seventy one degrees at
your official severe weather station, these radio seven forty k tih.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
Con Your best ways are round Houston next on the

Speaker 3 (01:17:42):
And your forecast for the day and the weekend to come.
Scattered thunderstorms today, heavy rains, high nine eighty four, more
storms overnight. Saturday and Sunday should be cloudy but dry,
highs in the upper seventies, and then on Monday the

Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
Six fifteen Now again Bob in for Jimmy this morning. So,
I was just talking about the ridiculous messaging by the
left saying that Donald Trump called for political violence against
Democrats who made that video telling military personnel to not
obey orders from President Trump if they find them or
or deem them to be on law. They even brought
(01:19:01):
this to the White House Press briefing yesterday.
Speaker 9 (01:19:03):
Clear does the President want to execute members of Congress?
Speaker 12 (01:19:08):
No, Let's be clear about what the president is responding to,
because many in this room want to talk about the
president's response, but not what brought the president to responding
in this way. You have sitting members of the United
States Congress who conspired together to orchestrate a video message
(01:19:28):
to members of the United States military, to active duty
service members, to members of the National Security apparatus, encouraging
them to defy the president's lawful orders. The sanctity of
our military rests on the chain of command, and if
that chain of command is broken, it can lead to
people getting killed, it can lead to chaos.
Speaker 21 (01:19:51):
And that's what these.
Speaker 12 (01:19:52):
Members of Congress who swore an oath to abide by
the Constitution are essentially encouraging. We have one point three
active duty service members in this country, and if they
hear this radical message from sitting members of Congress, that
could inspire chaos, and it could incite violence, and it
certainly could disrupt the chain of command. These three members
(01:20:13):
of Congress, I will also add, knew exactly what they
were doing. You look at Alyssa Slotkins. She's a former
member of the CIA. Mark Kelly was a captain in
the US Navy. Maggie Goodlander was a naval officer, and
notably she was also she is also the wife of
Joe Biden's National security former advisor, Jake Sullivan.
Speaker 21 (01:20:32):
And so these members knew what they were doing.
Speaker 12 (01:20:34):
They were leading into their credentials as former members of
our military, as veterans, as former members of the National
Security and apparatus, to signal to people serving under this
commander in chief, Donald Trump, that you can defy him and.
Speaker 21 (01:20:48):
You can betray your oath of office.
Speaker 12 (01:20:50):
That is a very very dangerous message, and it perhaps
is punishable by law.
Speaker 21 (01:20:56):
I'm not a lawyer. I'll leave that to the Department
of Justice. In the Department of.
Speaker 3 (01:20:59):
War to what an amazing upgrade President Trump made in
this particular position from what Joe Biden had when we
were trying to understand something that the walking, talking giant
Binder was trying to say, Carolyn Levitt is clear and
as concise as can be. It is extraordinarily dangerous for
members of the military, former or active to tell current
(01:21:22):
members of the military, active military members, particularly from their
positions on Capitol Hill as legislators, that they can ignore
the orders of their superiors. And for President Trump, again,
language is a little strong, probably messaging is a little
bit harsh. When he just said, he posted on true
Social last night that this is treason and punishable by death.
(01:21:47):
You know it's going to get a lot of attention.
But he's not wrong. It is punishable by death by
the state. If it were to come down to it,
nobody's going to be charged. But if it were to
come down to it and there were charges filed and
a condition was attained by the prosecution, yes, it is
punishable by death.
Speaker 4 (01:22:03):
He is not wrong.
Speaker 3 (01:22:04):
And that is not threatening to kill members or to
want other people to kill or harm members of Congress.
Speaker 4 (01:22:11):
This is reaching.
Speaker 3 (01:22:12):
This is desperation, and quite frankly, it's also a lot
of projection, because this is what the Democrats have done.
They have made political violence into an art form. They
tried to kill Donald Trump, missed, They tried to kill
Donald Trump again, didn't get the shot off. They did
kill Charlie Kirk. And do we really need to go
back to the baseball field. Do we have to go
(01:22:32):
back to the when the Republican baseball practice was shot
up by a Bernie Sanders supporter who tried to kill
as many Republican members of Congress as possible. Do we
really need to look at all of the political violence
being committed by the left in terms of Antifa and
BLM and others that have engaged in these BLM events, burn, loot, murder. Honestly,
(01:22:54):
they've made political violence in art forms. So then projecting
this on to Donald Trump and saying that if he
said that these people could be executed, therefore he is
pushing and promoting political violence in his projection, it is
dishonesty and it is disgusting, And hope every radio show
in America points that out. All right, six fifty five,
now it is time for the KTIH timeline on Houston's

you Heard cliff, mentioned And Chip roy is gonna tell
us all about his plan to become attorney general in the.
(01:32:01):
State and we're going to talk about the declaration that
was made by The governor Of care and The Muslim
brotherhood as being foreign terrorist. ORGANIZATIONS a lot of people
think that care because you know in this by the,
Way m's going to tell you point blank maybe things
you probably already. Know there is something Called, takia which
is An islamic tenet that essentially not only allows but
(01:32:25):
Requires muslims who are trying to Advance islam to a
position of world. Takeover AND i know that sounds like
it's just a little bit overly. Dramatic no, no, no, no
it's not establishing a global, caliphate which is a one
world government over the world that is run By sharia,
law that is literally governed by the most extreme, principles
(01:32:47):
and that this is to be carried out in the
form of. Jihad this is What islam. Teaches And i'm
just being one hundred p scent honest with you, here
and this is why the governor is calling this. Out
one of the things that they use is called, tikke
which requires doesn't just, allow but requires them to be
deceptive to mislead, infidels people who are Not. Muslims it's
(01:33:11):
all part of the movement to either kill or convert
all Non muslims Into. Islam is a part of establishing
that global caliphate and globalizing The, antifada which of course
is to wipe out not Just, jews but again all.
Infidels is a part of the. Thing the point being
Here takia allows them to. Deceive and that's WHAT care
is all. ABOUT Care council On American Islamic relations sounds
(01:33:32):
like It's, hey it's a, cooperative, collaborative peaceful. Organization we're
here to bring you, Know, islam you, Know muslims And
americans together THROUGH. CARE care works with and is absolutely
complicit with The muslim brotherhood and carrying out some of
the most horrific things that have been carried out in
(01:33:53):
terms of kinetic jihad and civilization.
Speaker 4 (01:33:56):
Jihad these.
Speaker 3 (01:33:56):
Things believe, ME i talk about this on a regular
basis on my own. WAY i talk to, EXPERTS i
talk to people who have Studied islam and its threat
to The west for their entire. Careers and this is
real the threat is. Real Greg abbott is, right isla or.
Excuse islam is fundamentally incompatible with The western civilization first of,
all and second of, all The Buzzlim, brotherhood which is
(01:34:20):
a very very dangerous, organization collaborates with care to mislead
the people into thinking they want to just be a
part of The american. Fabric they want to be a
part of the. Community they do. Not they want no
such thing as. Assimilation they want full on isolation and
then essentially. Takeover that's what this is all. About so
(01:34:41):
we're going to talk about that With Hip. Roy if
he becomes attorney general in the state Of, texas what's
he going to do to protect and Defend there are
multiple experts in this field who have said that If
islam is allowed to take deep route In texas in,
particular the country will be. Lost so we're going to
(01:35:02):
talk about that last. Chip worry about. That LIKE i,
said that's coming up shortly after the seven to twenty.
Traffic right, now it's time for the seven to ten the.
Traffic so, well let's check in. Here what's GUY i.

One once Again Bob france sitting in For jimmy this.
Morning Governor. Abbott On tuesday tweeted the. Following, TODAY i
designated The Muslim brotherhood And council On American Islamic relations
as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal. Organizations this bans them
from buying or acquiring land In texas and authorizes The
Attorney general to sue to shut them. DOWN a lot
(01:39:47):
of people are really welcoming of this order in this,
declaration and one person who might be particularly affected by
it Is Texas Congressmanship. Roy because he wants to be
said attorney, general he joins us now here On Houston's Morning.
Speaker 7 (01:40:00):
Accomplishman good, morning good aview with you, Guys good, morning.
Speaker 4 (01:40:04):
Good to have, you thanks so.
Speaker 3 (01:40:05):
Much so let's start right, there because this is a pretty,
direct uh directly impactful situation now that the governor has
declared care in The Muslim brotherhood is foreign terrorist. Orgs
if you are the attorney, general what would what would
how would you approach that heading in.
Speaker 7 (01:40:21):
You, know, well first of, all it's great news that
the governor took this.
Speaker 44 (01:40:25):
Step you know a lot of us have been watching
this very, carefully some of us for longer than others
and have been concerned about. It you, Know i've introduced
legislation to deal with, this and have given a number
of speeches In washington about this. Topic and As i've
noted to a few, folks the last substantive conversation THAT
i had With Charlie kirk was about this issue and
about the extent to which we're not taking it seriously.
(01:40:47):
Enough and by this, ISSUE i mean The islamification Of
texas and Of. America it's it's a planned. Activity care
is neck deep in. It The council And American islamic
relations with the call, themselves but they're often they're really
a front for the funneling of funds and the activists
that are trying to reshape and Remake america in a
(01:41:09):
corp of masury.
Speaker 7 (01:41:09):
Law and direct contradiction to our.
Speaker 44 (01:41:11):
Laws so the governor's right to do this gives significant
tools to The Attorney general to be able to, sue
to be able to stop the development of communities like
The East Plano Islamic, center you, know we call IT.
Epic we've obviously got That Islamic center down In houston
that is, concerning and other significant growth across the. State
but it really is the flow of money and a
(01:41:32):
radicalized network that's you, know a mix of The Marxist
islamic agenda that we're seeing unfold With mamdani In New,
york In, Dearborn, michigan In, minneapolis and you know, what
we already see happening In, London, Paris germany and places In.
Europe so we've got a lot we need to. Do
this is not a front to The First. Amendment you
can believe whatever you want to, believe but it is
(01:41:52):
something that we need to take seriously with respect to
stopping a political agenda to underrund our way of life
and essentially The islamification of our country and the governor's
right to do.
Speaker 7 (01:42:04):
This but we've got many many more miles to.
Speaker 3 (01:42:05):
Go, obviously anytime you even talk like, this AND i
know BECAUSE i talk like, this we're called. Islamophobes what
is your response to people saying you are just being
bigoted against people for their.
Speaker 44 (01:42:17):
Religion, yeah go look at the, facts and go look
at what's happening with the organizations LIKE, care the leadership OF,
care and by the, WAY i introduced legislation to take
away their tax, status THEIR c three, status And i've
introduced legislation to say that we need to vent people
for their adherence To sharia law Because sharia law contradicts our.
(01:42:37):
Laws In, scotland for, example there are eighty five jurisdictions
where you can choose Either sharia law Or scottish.
Speaker 7 (01:42:44):
Law that's. Insane we can't have that In.
Speaker 44 (01:42:46):
America the governor's right to point out that there's Some
sharia courts, here and he sent a letter to The
Colin County District attorney In dallas and the sheriffs up
there and, say, guys you go look into this and
you'll have my backing as. Governor but you, know the fact,
is you get. Care you've got leadership At care that
are affiliated with terrorist. Organizations you have an unindicted co
conspirator from The Holy Land foundation case which was In
(01:43:08):
Dallas Fort worth about twenty years, ago where they shut
them down with a direct tide of terrorist. Activities some
of their leadership were celebrating The october seventh atrocities In
israel from two years, ago and there was a report
that came out two days, ago and there's so many,
reports but this one tied them to a lot of
the activity of the student efforts that were terrorizing Our
(01:43:28):
jewish friends in The United. States on college campuses over
the last several, years and there's just numerous other, examples
and the governor laid those. Out people just need to
study what's actually. Happening don't hide behind The First. Amendment
celebrate The First amendment about the government not coming in
and tell you what to. Think but you can have
a politically motivated efforts that is coming into undo our
(01:43:50):
culture and undo our country and not recognize it for
what it.
Speaker 7 (01:43:54):
Is you have to speak about. It you have to
do it.
Speaker 3 (01:43:55):
Unafraid, Congressmanship roy IS ourguesti is running for Attorney. General,
sir you want to be the top cop in the
state Of. Texas so let's talk about cops for a,
moment particularly here In. Houston there was just a leaked
report from a member of council that wants to tell
police they don't have to cooperate WITH ice anymore in
the city Of. Houston i'm not saying this is, policy
but this is something that is being. Proposed what message
(01:44:19):
do you have for police all Over texas local, police county,
sheriffs state police and their responsibility to cooperate WITH ice
in the deportation task force that The president has set.
Speaker 44 (01:44:29):
Forth, yeah, clearly law enforcement throughout the state Of texas
need to cooperate With, ice.
Speaker 7 (01:44:35):
And to the extent that local officials and.
Speaker 44 (01:44:37):
Some of our cities are getting in the way of,
that the state needs to make sure they step in
an act in importance With texas law and in cooperation
with federal law to make sure that we're able to
adhere to, it and if we need to change our,
law then we should do. It As Attorney, General i'm
going to ensure that. Happens i'm going to come into.
Cities i'm going to shame the city of. Leadership i'm
going to make SURE i use the bully pulpit so
that everybody in the community knows that local leaders want
(01:44:59):
to and danger their streets and want to side with
the lawless inside of the, gangs inside of the people
that Murdered Joscelyn nungray and games Like Trende, arragua that
they side with them rather than the folks that.
Speaker 7 (01:45:10):
Want to have safe.
Speaker 44 (01:45:12):
Streets i'll be pushing for harsher and stronger legislation to
make sure that our cities can't buck the legislature and
ensuring that our streets are. Safe and, importantly you, Know
we're going to follow the. Money we're going to break
down these radical leftists And marxists that are funding These
George soros funded district, attorneys city council, members people that are.
(01:45:35):
Judges that is a coordinated, effort along with significant national
international organizations and funding coming from not Just, soros but
large groups Like, arabella which is a front for democratic democratic,
operatives and all of these are. Interconnected the groups that
were dumping people into our, streets the two hundred and
(01:45:55):
fifty groups that were exploiting open, borders all of it is.
Speaker 7 (01:45:59):
Coordinated we're going to follow the money and we're going
to break that.
Speaker 44 (01:46:02):
Down i'm having conversations with Our department Of, Justice department
Of chargery officials here IN. Dc i'm going to work
on it harder the next, year and then when I'm attorney.
General we're going to stop these radical networks THAT i
believe are breaking the law in an organized fashion and
they need to be prosecuted for what they're.
Speaker 3 (01:46:17):
Doing, congressman last question for, you listen is About, congress
not about Ag your thoughts on the video that was
put out by some of your. Colleagues Six democrat former
military or intelligence agency officials telling active duty military, personnel
you don't have to listen to your commander in. Chief
you're a secretary of, war The, department or The. Pentagon
(01:46:39):
you can do what you want to do as long
as you think the rule might not be, lawful or excuse,
me the order might not be.
Speaker 44 (01:46:45):
Lawful, YEAH i mean it was obviously out of fronts
to the, law as The president, said and he referred
to it as, sedition, conspiracy and. Treason and, look the fact,
is these are individuals who are letting their trunk arrangement
syndrome overtake common sense and the rule of. Law, look
(01:47:06):
the commander in, chief the president is in charge of
the military and the president of The United. States he's
doing everything openly and. Clearly pete Hag, SETH i, mean
this is just just craziness that these people are spewing.
Out they're not doing anything that is beyond the. Law
they're working with local law enforcement, officials working with federal,
(01:47:27):
officials military supporting. Activities they're not going around arresting anybody's
not doing anything that's contrary to our. LAW i assure,
you Remember, congress we'd be highlighting those. Things and so
for these officials to go out and do. That they're
trying to stir things up in a way that is
contrary to the law and undermining The. Constitution it's, offensive it's.
Ridiculous but that's just where we, are and so we're
going to keep moving forward and keep doing the things
(01:47:48):
we're doing to make our country, safer, secure and more
strong Despite democrat.
Speaker 3 (01:47:52):
Resistance, Congressmanship, roy thank you so. Much we appreciate, it.

Trump so clearly.
Speaker 3 (01:55:09):
Jd vance is going to be supportive of his, boss
The president of The United. States but, also if The
bushes are to return to prominence When trump leaves office
In january of twenty twenty, nine that would mean. Jd
vance is not being handed the baton that he would
not be the next in.
Speaker 4 (01:55:27):
Line so.
Speaker 3 (01:55:27):
Jd vance has a couple of reasons to say what
he said yesterday about The bush potential.
Speaker 47 (01:55:33):
Return The american people don't want stupid wars In america's
jobs going overseas and wide open. Borders that, is whether
intentional or, not that was the legacy of The Republican
party that came Before DONALD. J. Trump i'm glad The
president got us away from That Republican.
Speaker 5 (01:55:49):
Party it, lost but it was also a disaster.
Speaker 4 (01:55:52):
For The United states Of.
Speaker 47 (01:55:53):
America let's actually have a foreign policy where we focus
on the interests Of american. Citizens let's have an economic
pol that's about building in The United states Of america
rather than shipping all of our jobs overseas and Getting
Wall street enriched in the. Process let's have an economic
policy that's about more self. SUFFICIENCY i, MEAN i have three.
(01:56:13):
KIDS i have an eight year old to five year
old and a three year. OLD i don't want to
wake up in a country WHERE i take my kid
to the doctor and they can't get antibiotics because the
antibiotics that were invented in The United states Of america
are manufactured in some foreign. Country that is the legacy
of The Republican party that came Before DONALD. J.
Speaker 5 (01:56:30):
Trump we're not going back to.
Speaker 3 (01:56:31):
It that is a strong statement without saying the Word.
Bush tell me you're not talking or tell me you're
talking about The, bushes The Republican party Before DONALD.
Speaker 4 (01:56:41):
J trump came. Along and he's not wrong about a
lot of those.
Speaker 3 (01:56:45):
Things and there are a lot of, people Even bush
supporters here In, texas you, know are are going to
have to come to come of the realization That, americans
and Particularly, republicans are done with. That there's a reason
Why jeb foundered as quickly as his campaign. Did it
just sunk like a stone BECAUSE i think. Jd vance
is right to a large, extent people are ready to
(01:57:05):
move on from.
Speaker 27 (01:57:06):
That.
Speaker 3 (01:57:06):
Now does that mean specifically The bush, name The bush,
family or The bush, politics the Establishment republicans of the
Past that's WHAT i guess the next three years are
going to. Determine if there is great success And President
trump's agenda is, implemented THEN.
Speaker 4 (01:57:23):
Jd vance is going to ride that. Wave there's no
question about.
Speaker 3 (01:57:26):
It he'll be a, big big part of making that,
happen and he'll be the front runner going into twenty twenty.
Eight but, that of course is dependent on a couple of.
Things number, one activist judges allowing it to, happen and
number two winning the. Midterms and the midterms right now
one year from right now are going to determine the
entire historical look at The trump, presidency particularly the forty seven,
(01:57:50):
presidency and that will also weigh ON. Jd vance and
whether or not a Different republican infrastructure is. Built so
it'll be interesting to say the very least seven let's
do traffick in weather.

today a fifty percent chance of shower and storms today

president jd vance on the Prospect of a bush return To.
Prominence After trump.
Speaker 47 (02:01:59):
The american people don't want Stupid wars, in america's jobs
going overseas and. Wide open, borders that is whether. Intentional
or not that was the Legacy Of the republican party
That CAME.
Speaker 4 (02:02:10):
Before.
Speaker 7 (02:02:10):
Donald j TRUMP.
Speaker 3 (02:02:11):
So, that's Jd Vance, the vice president responding. To those
reports joining Us now is gladavidia political consult with his
thoughts on the Matter of, Lad, good morning, Hey.
Speaker 7 (02:02:20):
Good morning bob good to.
Speaker 4 (02:02:22):
Talk to you so let's talk a little Bit.
Speaker 3 (02:02:24):
About, The Bushes obviously president bush was front center yesterday
giving the Eulogy at, the cheney funeral and word around
the political orbit Is that the bushes are primed for
a return to prominence.
Speaker 4 (02:02:36):
In some capacity what would, that look?
Speaker 33 (02:02:37):
LIKE fevered dream i don't. SEE it happening I think
the bush. LEGACY had ended i think the last time
we had Members of the bush family running, for elected
office it was. A flame out it was a. Crash
and burn they have served admirably and honorably. For SEVERAL
(02:02:58):
generations and I think all america and still appreciate And
Hold deer president bush's leadership after nine to eleven and
when when he stood on the Rubble Of The world trade,
center and said the people, who did this we'll hear from.
All of us soon everyone. Stood with him but, since that,
time you Know We saw jeb bush flame out in
(02:03:18):
a campaign asking people. To please Clap WE. Saw george
p bush LOSING a primary uh when he Was Running.
Against ken Baxton We, saw pierce bush One of the bush, UH,
younger generation uh come up short in a primary for.
A congressional race i don't think that the Current crop
(02:03:39):
of bush's aligns well with the with the current ideology
and the current Temperature Of. The Republican Party the rublican
party Right now, is america first it's, not, a globalist
Elitist a sacrifice american greatness for the rest of the world.
Kind of party and, SO right now i just don't.
Speaker 7 (02:04:00):
See.
Speaker 3 (02:04:00):
It happening, blag, tell me though what the State Of
the republican party will be in. Twenty Twenty Eight if,
president trump, loses or Rather if the republicans lose the
majority in the upcoming midterm elections and the entire last
two years of forty seven's presidency are marred with investigations
and impeachments and, nothing getting done will there be an
Appetite In the republican party to return to that establishment
(02:04:22):
type of Thing that the bushes represented just to Get Past,
the trump well at the time it would.
Speaker 33 (02:04:26):
Be, a, mess well look we saw, that, Happen before
right we've seen what happened. And wound up the Result
was That republican the american people really hated what emerged
from that because it, was more division more entrenched hatred
led By People like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, And
(02:04:49):
Joe biden barack obama, and those forces those ideas those
people rejected in twenty twenty four in a landslide DECISION and,
so i, think, let's say hypothetically if something like that,
WERE to happen i Can certainly see americans rallying behind Somebody,
(02:05:09):
like jd vance who is more likely not going to
be the next President Of, the united states, as a
Response because what americans want, is less, division less fighting
less pointing zingers, of each other and. Getting solutions done
finding ways, to lower prices finding ways to, make college
affordable finding ways to increase a, number of jobs finding
(02:05:31):
ways to close the border. And Decrease crime and democrats
have failed to offer. Any substantive solution so if their
entire solution is to stand in the, way of progress
they're going to. Get run over well.
Speaker 4 (02:05:41):
That's exactly what their. Solution. Has, been.
Speaker 3 (02:05:44):
Obstruction obstruction obstruction it's the name of the name of
the game For the. Current Democrat party vlad, Davidio, political
consultant glad thanks for the, time this morning and if,
we Don't talk happy.
Speaker 7 (02:05:53):
Thanksgiving, to you, likewise all right.
