I didn't see you a little bit of flashy lights here.
This is inbound, so watch out as you're passing Katie Millsmall.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
But it's still good.
Speaker 6 (00:54):
That's twenty five minutes now Graham Parkway and the other

Speaker 3 (01:07):
All Right, thank you, sir, Sunny today HI is going
to be in the mid nineties, heat index values as
high as one oh five. However, a slight chance for
showers and storms. Mostly clear tonight, low in the upper seventies.
We'll get an advanced look at the forecast coming up

official severe weather station, News Radio seven forty k t RH.
Speaker 7 (01:28):
And now let's say good morning to Cliff Saunders.
Speaker 8 (01:31):
And good morning Bob friends, Good morning everyone, five oh
one on kg RH. Our top story, the Left lies exposed.
Speaker 9 (01:38):
It was essentially a year's long coup that was launched
against President Trump before he even had the opportunity to
take his oath of office and be sworn in as
President of the United States.
Speaker 8 (01:49):
Alright, Jreve National Intelligence Telsea Gabbert on Fox. She has
declassified documents showing that the Obama administration made up and
politicized intelligence in twenty six, setting the stage for the
Russia hoax. The documents referred to the Department of Justice.
The President reacted by using Obama's own words against him.
Speaker 10 (02:10):
No one, especially the president, is above the law.
Speaker 8 (02:15):
That from twenty twenty, Trump also posting an AI generated
video of Obama getting arrested to the song YMCA on
truth Social We've got it on KTRH dot com, our
Facebook page, and our ex page.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
Now to line number two.
Speaker 8 (02:31):
New documents showed that former Attorney General Merrick Garland and
the Biden administration conspired to investigate and charge parents with
crimes for protesting school policies related to COVID, transgenderism, critical
race theory, and other issues. And now to why number three.
The President ensues News Corp. Which owns The Wall Street Journal,
(02:54):
over its report that when Epstein Jeffrey Epstein, turned fifty,
Trump sent him an off cut letter for his birthday.
Trump has called for the grand jury testimony in the
case to be released, but that might not tell us much.
Speaker 11 (03:07):
The information that hasn't been requested is going to be
far more informative.
Speaker 8 (03:13):
Attorney Ellen Dershowitz wants immunity for Glaine Maxwell so that
she can testify to Epstein's crimes. Now, some in the
Trump they just didn't like how he handled the whole thing,
but his poll numbers continued to rise.
Speaker 12 (03:27):
Among Republicans at this point, they know Donald Trump inside
and out. They know exactly who he is, what to
expect from him, and so they're just going to go
on living their lives.
Speaker 8 (03:39):
Newsmax contributor Jeffrey Lords the latest Rasmus and approval rating
for Trump overall has him at fifty percent. RMG research
has it at fifty two percent. It's now five oh
four and here at home, state lawmakers start a special
session today to address property taxes, redistricting, and flooding.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
But just how much we'll get done.
Speaker 13 (04:00):
Unfortunately, there's a good chance this turns out just like
the regular session.
Speaker 14 (04:04):
As hopeful as I'd like to be, with eighteen million
different points of order filed, I think we're just going
to see another legislative session that doesn't produce a lot
of result.
Speaker 13 (04:12):
Trent and Rippy with the Young Americans for Liberty says
he expects Speaker Burrows to slow everything down again despite pushback.
Speaker 14 (04:18):
We saw the pressure and we saw a lot of
constituents angry throughout the session, and that didn't seem to
affect him specifically too much.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
He says.
Speaker 13 (04:27):
One thing you can't expect is another attempt to heavily
regulate THHC in Texas. Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 8 (04:33):
And here we go again, Harris County Judge Lena Hidalgo
proposing new property tax hikes to pay for early childhood education.
Houston State Senator Paul Bettencourt says, hey, we just closed
the loop, Paul that allowed this sort of thing.
Speaker 10 (04:48):
Unfortunately, she keeps trying to that ways to raise property
taxes and the answer should be no. I hope Commissioner's
Court realizes they shouldn't be in this business this time
to stop these taxes and increases coming out of Harris
County and Commissioner's Court.
Speaker 8 (05:02):
If the increase is approved by Commissioner's Court, it'll be
on the ballot in November. Speaking of the ballot, we
are six months away for we are rather eight months
away from next year's primaries.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
But a lot of money is already being spent. It's
not just the race for Senate that's seeing big bucks.
Speaker 15 (05:18):
Candidates and down ballot races also have huge war chests.
As a new political analyst, Cal Jilson says, the large
donations are only part of the story.
Speaker 16 (05:27):
The candidates themselves are putting up big amounts of their
own money.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
He calls it a sugar high.
Speaker 15 (05:33):
It looks good on paper, but it's not an indicator
of success. The biggest self backer is former state senator
and failed gubernatorial candidate Don Huffines. He's running for comptroller
and loaned his campaign ten million dollars of his own money.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Rex So it Snows Radio seven forty KTR eight.
Speaker 8 (05:50):
Five oh five Looking at Your Money Overnight training is
up across the board, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik telling
CBS he's confident the US will strike a trade deal
with the before the August first tariff deadline. Meantime, a
record percentage of home builders are cutting their costs drastically
just to get business.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
There are many incentives that some builders offered.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
It is in.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Favor as a buyer, helping them get in that home,
even when times they're a little leaner.
Speaker 8 (06:19):
Amy Bertrand with the Greater Houston Builders Association says despite
the Biden economy, home builders here are in a good
place because so many people are moving to Texas and
to Houston. A surge of international home buyers, led by
Chinese investors, has it our housing market national Association of
Realtors says foreign buyers purchased thirteen point seven billion dollars
(06:42):
worth of existing homes in the last year, of eighty
three percent from the year before.
Speaker 16 (06:46):
The Chinese home purchases are a strong signal of Chinese weakness.
Speaker 17 (06:51):
Is a strong signal of the.
Speaker 18 (06:52):
Lack of confidence of the Chinese in their own society.
Speaker 8 (06:56):
China expert Gordon Shank says foreign buyers have been a
big part of why home prices are up sixty percent
since twenty nineteen. Five oh seven, the Astros bust out
of their slump, beating the Mariners eleven to three. They're
leading the Al West is four. They visit Arizona. Tonight
covers at seven point thirty on KTR Shumcliff saunters on
Houston's News Weather in Traffic station News Radio seven forty krh.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
B informed be on time. Houston's morning News continues with
Jimmy Verarrett.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
All Right, good morning once again Pop France sitting in
for Jimmy this week.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
It's good to have you aboard.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
It is the twenty first morning of the seventh month
in the Year of Our Lord, twenty twenty five. And yeah,
the biggest story of the day may be the biggest
story of the year.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
We have to see how this goes.
Speaker 3 (07:44):
But Tulca Gabbert, the Director of National Intelligence, came out
with the bombshell on Friday and then took to the
Sunday morning talk talk shows to grow it so that
everybody knows exactly what happened with the Russia collusion hooks,
and what happened, according to Tulsa Gabbard, is a treasonous
conspiracy that she said was directed by none other than
(08:08):
the President of the United States. I bet I'm sorry
former President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama.
Speaker 7 (08:16):
Here's Tulsa Gabbard with Maria Barola.
Speaker 9 (08:19):
The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic.
Over one hundred documents that we released on Friday really
detail and provide evidence of how this treason isst conspiracy
was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was
due to leave office, after President Trump had already gotten elected.
Speaker 19 (08:42):
This is not a Democrat or Republican issue.
Speaker 9 (08:45):
This is an issue that is so serious it should
concern every single American because it has to do with
the integrity of our democratic republic. What we saw occur here,
as the documents we released detailed, was that we had
a sitting president of the United States and his cabinet
and leadership team.
Speaker 19 (09:02):
Quite frankly, who were not.
Speaker 9 (09:03):
Happy with the fact that President Trump had won the election,
that the American people had chosen Donald J. Trump to
be the next president commander in chief of the United States,
and so they decided that they would do everything possible
to try to undermine his ability to do what voters
task President Trump to do. So, creating this piece of
(09:24):
manufactured intelligence that claims that Russia had helped Donald Trump
get elected contradicted every other assessment that had been made
previously in the months leading up to the election that
said exactly the opposite, that Russia neither had neither the
intent nor the capability to try to quote unquote hack
the United States election for the presidency of the United States.
(09:47):
So the effect of what President Obama and his senior
national security team did was subvert the will of the
American people, undermining our democratic republic, and enact what would
be essentially a year's long coup against President Trump, who
was duly elected by the American people.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Note how D and I Gabard referred to it as
our democratic republic. They undermined our democratic republic. The Democrats
like to say that they undermine democracy or that there
is always a threat to democracy. We are not a democracy.
We are a democratic republic. And Tulsey Gebrin made that
very very clear. Having said that, the important point here
(10:28):
is that, yes, the Democrats that are always complaining about
the threat to democracy literally created this What did you
call it, a treasonous treeson. I'm looking for the word again, Conspira.
Treason is political conspiracy to undermine the democracy, the democratic
(10:48):
will of the people who chose Donald Trump over Hillary
Rodham Clinton. We are not done by with this for
a long shot. We have a lot more to talk
about this morning. All right, it is five to ten.
Let's do the traffic on the weather Sky Mike. It's
a Katie.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
Freeway inbound, all right, those of you who play the
home game with me, jump on Houston Transtar site three
fours zero, and we've got this inbound accident.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
It's minor.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
It's on the Katie Freeway ramp that goes to Grand
Parkway southbound. So if you're somebody's butler and Sinco ranch
you'll have to go northbound and bust to you at
the next exit.
Speaker 19 (11:22):
There.
Speaker 6 (11:22):
This is knocking off the southbound northbound You're getting by
just a little slowly. A lot of flashy lights on
that ramp. I don't think it'll be there very long.
Elsewhere you've got two ninety we're not two ninety up
so far. If you had a grand march at your wedding,
you look good. From Grand Parkway to the West Loops
six ten. I've got three ways to reach us. We're
super easy to find on social media. I am personally
(11:43):
and also you've got our tip line seven one three
two one two t ips and you could talk to
us on the free iHeartRadio app HI.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Thanks Fat Mike Dude.
Speaker 12 (11:52):
North Freeway southbound between Grand Parkway and Boltway and go
for oh nice.
Speaker 6 (11:59):
Well said, who think who man? Triple right there? High score.
That's an eight point eight. I'm in the USA RV
Resorts dot Well, he didn't get more points because he's
not female. USA Rvresorts dot Com traffic center. It's an
uneven playing filled bob women. I see that women get
points on our tip line.
Speaker 7 (12:16):
That's not a bad strategy.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Actually, all right, Thank you, Mike, Jeff, you know, is
he in at the Weather Channel with our forecast this morning?
Speaker 7 (12:22):
Good morning Jeff, Hey, good morning Bob.
Speaker 20 (12:24):
That means I'll be lacking on points, but I'll do
what I can here since I am filling in for Terry.
We've got the sunshine today. We're going up to the
mid nineties and that's right where we are supposed to
be for this time of July. Heat index readings around
one oh five the air you can wear, and then
for the afternoon maybe a stray shower, thunderstorm. Tonight, mostly clear,
overnight low drops to the upper seventies that is a
(12:44):
little warm. And then tomorrow kind of a rentom repeat,
mostly sunny, mid nineties for the high heating decks around
one o three, maybe a stray shower thunderstorm, and then
right back up to the mid nineties for our Wednesday.
Speaker 7 (12:55):
All right, thanks.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Jeff, And right now we have eighty degrees at your
official severe weather station.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
Use radio seven to forty k TI Eah.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you byen New South
Windows Solutions. Now back to Jimmy Barretts and the Houston
Morning News team.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
All the info you need to take on the day.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Okay, six eighteen, this is some really, really wild stuff
that we get started with early this morning. Tulsi Gabber,
the Director of National Intelligence, dropped that bombshell on Friday,
saying that they have indeed discovered and uncovered a treasonous
conspiracy directed by former President Obama to wreck President Donald
(13:33):
Trump and his victory in the first term representative in
his first term, I should say, Representative Anna Paulina Luna
from Florida is saying she is blown away by this
like everybody else, but she's not done with just being
shocked and being upset about this.
Speaker 7 (13:51):
She wants accountability.
Speaker 21 (13:53):
He saw with the report that Tulsi put out. I mean,
we're talking about there needs to be criminal prosecution and arrest,
you know, lying under oath, putting out a false intelligence report,
and that's a violation of eighteen US Code one zero
zero one that comes with a seven year prison sentence
and up to two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Fine,
but we're talking about something more nefarious than this. I
(14:13):
think that this is a perfect example and reason why
there needs to be FISA reform as well as you know,
Maria that false intelligent report resulted in FISA Court's issuing
a warrant to illegally surveillance the President of the United
States now, and what I can tell you is if
we don't stop this, if we don't actually say this
will not be tolerated. This is not a Democrat or
Republican thing. This is about the health and the sanctity
(14:35):
of our constitutional republic, and so there needs to be arrests.
This is not partisan. This is simply illegal what they did,
and we're simply upholding the law.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
The only thing I disagree with from Representative Pauline Luna
there is the idea that this isn't partisan and it's
not Democrat. A Republican is one billion percent Democrat. It
is not not Democrat nor Republican. It is all Democrat.
This is the only organization that of this, And when
will there be accountability? She's right, There need to be indictments,
(15:04):
there need to be trials, there need to be convictions,
and there needs to be accountability in the form of
prison sentences. I know people talk about this all the time.
The Democrats like to say no one is above the law.
They try to arrest and prosecute Donald Trump. They literally
now need to eat those words because they cannot be
allowed to be above the law. More in a moment
(15:24):
five point twenty, let's do traffic and weather Scott and
Mike billion percent.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
That's a lot, Bob France. Let's head for the North
Grand park Way. Here New Kny's gotten fancy and it's
old age. Heading over from Valley Ranch Eh, coming over
toward the Woodlands looks nice. If you're somebody's butler and Tomball,
you got an easy ride now at two forty nine
going that way eastbound's looking good too. Always be careful
around that send you Center river Bridge.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
I don't know if it's maybe a little dark around there.
Sometimes maybe we'll get an object in the road. But
that spot right there is where we seem to get
the most kerfuffles. To watch out, Nord Sam. We're so
glad that road work was finished. All Dean Westfield and
Imperial Valley that's gone. If you're trying to catch you playing,
be skeke both ways forty five to sixty nine. Let's
check your ship channel bridges at the five forty break
(16:11):
five thirty. Let's check your southwest and we've got your
generator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
All right, thank you very much, Mike. And your forecast
today is going to be pretty hot. It's going to
be in the mid nineties. EAT index values up as
high as one oh five and a slight chance of
showers and storms this afternoon. Mostly clear tonight, low upper
seventies tomorrow. I think what Jeff Fiino said is rinse
and repeat pretty much, same temperatures Wednesday and Thursday, and
(16:36):
cooling a little bit on Friday when some thunderstorms roll
in with highs in the mid eighties. Right now though
eighty at your official severe weather station, News Radio seven
forty KTRH.
Speaker 7 (16:46):

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Check in what should our involvement be?
Speaker 17 (17:19):
See what happened?
Speaker 4 (17:20):
Whether or not it happens.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Use radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
It was December ninth of twenty sixteen, that President Obama,
according to DNI Tulsea Gabbert, assembled his top advisors I
mean co conspirators, including Jim Comey, CIA Director John Brennan,
National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Homeland Security Advisor Lisa Monaco.
Speaker 7 (17:41):
For a two hour principles meeting at the White House.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
That's the same day that Obama's team started leaking false
intelligence information to the Washington Post and other outlets, saying quote,
the CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia
intervened in the twenty sixteen election to help Donald Trump
win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in
the US electoral system. According to officials briefed on the matter,
(18:07):
Dan I Gabbard went on Maria Bartaromo yesterday and released
some of the details of this treasonous conspiracy and said
they're not done.
Speaker 9 (18:17):
I don't have the details on the specifics of the
mar mar a Lago raid itself. Those are within the
possession of the FBI. But there's no question in my
mind that this intelligence community assessment that President Obama ordered
be published, which contained a manufactured intelligence document, it's worse
(18:38):
than even politicization of intelligence. It was manufactured intelligence that
sought to achieve President Obama and his team's objective, which
was undermining President Trump's presidency and subverting the will of
the American people. So yes, next week we will be
releasing more detailed information about how exactly this took place
(18:58):
and the extent to which this information was sought to
be hidden from the American people, hidden from officials who
would be in a position to do something about it.
And that's really the point here that I think is
most important, Maria, and you said it in your opening.
Speaker 19 (19:14):
Accountability is essential for the.
Speaker 7 (19:17):
Accountability is essential.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
And the question is is do the Democrats still believe
in accountability like they once did when they were trying
to prosecute.
Speaker 10 (19:27):
Trump, especially the president is above the law.
Speaker 5 (19:33):
No one is above the law. No one is above
the law. No one is above the law.
Speaker 17 (19:39):
Nobody is above the law.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
No one above the law. Nobody is above the law.
No one is above the law.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
No one is above the law.
Speaker 19 (19:49):
No one is above the law.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
No one is above the law.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
No one is above the law.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
That montage of Democrats, by the way, goes on for
another sixty seconds. I won't subject you to to it,
but you do understand the point. They said, anybody, everybody
who breaks the law is and should be held accountable.
They tried to say that with Donald Trump, and now
the question is will they say that. This is why
I disagreed with Representative Annapoline A Luna who said this
(20:18):
isn't you know, a partisan issue.
Speaker 7 (20:19):
It isn't Democrat and Republican.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
It absolutely is, because every one of the Democrats in
that montage that's a minute and twenty seconds long saying
no one is above the law will absolutely defend Barack
Obama and hold him above the law every single step
of the way. It is not even a question. So
this is this is, this is this is this is
(20:41):
what bombshells look like. It doesn't get much bigger than
this and much deeper than this, and it's really going
to test I think the strength in the middle of
the United States as a constitutional republic, whether or not
we are willing to look ourselves in the eye and
say we are broken.
Speaker 7 (20:57):
We must be fixed.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
And the way we fix it is to take midoals
like Barack Obama and prosecute them for those crimes.
Speaker 7 (21:04):
Will we have the guts to do it? Five twenty six.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Now, let's check our money and see what's happening on
the markets this morning.
Speaker 7 (21:10):

LA Mayor Karen Bass calling for ICE agents to put
themselves in even more danger on ABC, Acting ICE director
Todd Lyons told CBS Bass has a twist.
Speaker 25 (24:00):
I want elected officials to help us hold those people
accountable that do docs or threat an ICE officer or
or agent or their family Again.
Speaker 8 (24:09):
Attacks on ICE agents are up more than eight hundred
and thirty percent from last year. Meantime, and off duty
Border Patrol agent was shot in the face in New
York City during an attempted robbery involving an illegal alien
who had previously been deported. The agent recovering, he managed
to injure the bad guy in a shootout. We know

are now apparently facilitating out of state so called gender
affirming care for Texas miners.
Speaker 26 (24:40):
At least this activist told me that they prefer not
to use tax dollars for this gender immutilating surgeries for
miners because of those strings that are attached to it.
Speaker 8 (24:53):
Joseph Trimmer with Texas Scorecards that he wasn't surprised about this,
but because the Left has used similar tactics on a
number of other social justice issues for years. Five point
thirty three DNA Telsea Gabbart accuses the Obama administration of
committing treeson manufacturing the Russia collusion narrative. She's turned over
documents to the Justice Department, and we'll have more on
(25:15):
this coming up.
Speaker 5 (25:16):
At six am.
Speaker 8 (25:18):
Yesterday marked six months since President Trump returned to the
White House. Senate majority of the leader John Thune telling
Fox News Sunday, he's reversing the damage done by Joe Biden.
Speaker 27 (25:29):
Of course, the goal behind all this was to make
the lives of working Americans, middle income Americans better, to
strengthen their families, allow them to keep more of what
they earned.
Speaker 8 (25:37):
The biggest legislative accomplishment the Big Beautiful Bill, which makes
the twenty seventeen tax cuts permanent.
Speaker 5 (25:44):
It's five point thirty four.
Speaker 8 (25:45):
The Texas Legislature kicks off its special session in Austin today,
Property tax relief and redistricting among the issues they will
take up. Multiple time election loser Beto o'work has come
out against the redistricting effort in red states. He's all
for it in blue states, though, and doesn't care how
it looks.
Speaker 28 (26:05):
I think that Democrats have been so scared of being
branded as hypocrites or coloring outside of the lines that
it has absolutely paralyzed them in this struggle for power
in America.
Speaker 8 (26:17):
Beto on CNN yesterday. Meantime, regulating products with THG is
also on the docket for lawmakers, and Cynthia Cabrero with
the Texas Hemp Business Council would rather see regulation than
any ban.
Speaker 29 (26:30):
We had a petition that got over one hundred and
fifty thousand signatures, and we also had about eight thousand
handwritten letters that were delivered to the governor.
Speaker 8 (26:39):
This proposed legislation comes at the same time that a
court case over hemp derived THHC has reached the state
Supreme Court. The new school year starts in less than
a month from now, and the Conroe ISD is in
accepting notes from parents to allow their kids to use
different pronouns.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
It brings the district in compliance with the law.
Speaker 30 (27:01):
The executive order from President Trump actually said that it's
completely prohibited. There are no exceptions. I was really concerned
that if we left the policy about having a note
in there, we might be in violation of that and
risk our federal funding.
Speaker 31 (27:14):
Connor Owis, the board member. Melissa similar says, the language
was taken from state law and this easest things for teachers.
Speaker 30 (27:20):
If we added a parent note on top of that,
I think that would add a whole nother layer of
issues because somebody would have to monitor who has a
note and who does it.
Speaker 31 (27:27):
And then she says this was positively received andore a

The official number of those missing in Kirk County from
the July fourth flood is now down to three. More
than ninety other people thought to be missing were in
fact found safe. A newly released report shows that fewer
than five percent of the homes in the high risk
area of Kirk County had flood insurance. Rich Johnson with
the Texas Insurance Council says owners are now out of
(27:56):
luck because homeowner policies won't cover a penny of restaurant
work going forward. Unfortunately, it's probably cash out of pocket.
The report shows that there are about three thousand homes
in Kirk County that fell into the one hundred year
Floodplane five thirty six. More changes are coming at the
airport when it comes to going through security.
Speaker 18 (28:15):
This would be the second big change after Homeland Security
announced you'll no longer have to take off your shoes.
Speaker 27 (28:20):
These were good procedures to quit in place, but we're
always fighting the last war.
Speaker 18 (28:24):
Sadly, former airline pilot Matthew Buckley told Fox airline safety
needs an update, like more attention to thread of drones,
but they're getting away from the liquid restrictions and the
shoes is a logical improvement.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
The technology improved.
Speaker 27 (28:35):
You can see those scanners and the sniffers, and if
you're walking around the airport you'll also see a lot
of dogs too.
Speaker 5 (28:42):

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Trump six months into the second term. Yesterday, as we
just pointed out, marked the six month mark of his return.
On January twentieth, and what a phenomenal retrospective of his
first six months of six months of success, turned in
by Marked Teeson on the Washington Post. Marked Teason summing
up the Trump first six months this way.
Speaker 7 (29:49):
It's a much deeper piece, but I'll give you some highlights.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
Consider that three weeks ago Trump launched unprecedented military strikes
that wrecked the Iranian nuclear pro He then had a
triumphant NATO summit in the Netherlands, gather getting allies to
agree to spend five percent of gross domestic product on defense.
While all this was going on, he won three major
Supreme Court battles, a decision that curtailed the power of
(30:14):
district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions blocking him from
implementing his policies, a second restoring the rights of parents
to opt out of LGBTQ in doctrination in public schools,
and a third upholding his right to fire tens of
thousands of workers across the federal government. He sent the
National Guard in June to help quell immigration riots in
(30:35):
Los Angeles and drove illegal border crossings to a virtual halt,
with apprehensions encounters at the US Southern border last month,
reaching the lowest levels ever recorded. He forced the University
of Pennsylvania to ban biological males in women's sports, restored
women's records, post the definition of a woman on its website,
(30:57):
and apologize to female app lates that were harmed. In
the past week, the news broke that Columbia University is
nearing a two hundred million dollars settlement with the Trump
administration over anti Semitic civil rights violations on campus. He
passed his One Big Beautiful Bill mark, making his twenty
seventeen pro growth tax cuts permanent, in delivering on his
(31:20):
promise to work in class voters to eliminate taxes on
tips and overtime, with deep benefits to Social Security recipients.
There are probably more victories to come. Momentum is contagious,
and success begets success. But I can't think of a
president in my lifetime, writes Mark Thesan who has accomplished
(31:41):
this much in such a short period of time. Indeed,
what Trump achieved in just the past month arguably exceeds
what Biden accomplished in his entire four year term. Fantastic
piece by Martisan, and he's right that just scratches the surface.
So the six month birthday of the Trump forty seven
version of a presidency a very very happy one. Indeed,
(32:02):
five forty Now let's do traffic and weather and see
what's happening on the drives.
Speaker 6 (32:06):
Got Mike right, This is it's got to be something
going on here on this Katie Freeway ramp to Grand
Parkway because I think of that. Normally on a ramp,
you're not going fast enough to have a really severe accident.
So I'm just wondering how in the world we had
a fatality wreck here on the Katie Freeway inbound ramp
to Grand Parkway southbound. It must be at the end
(32:27):
of the ramp, maybe as they were merging or something.
But I'm I'm kind of feeling like there might be
a story here. So Katie Freeway, what you need to
know as a driver is you can't go to Sinco
Ranch or you can't go to Highland Knowles southbound from
the Katie Freeway. You have to go up north and
you can exit, Oh, you can exit a Friends Roadbob
that's inbound. And again that ramp is going to be
(32:48):
closed for quite a while on the inbound side here
we're looking twenty six minutes from Grand Parkway into the
President's Heads. I do have an outbound smash. I think
it's that roadwork forty five to Studamant and people.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
I get why you'd slow down there.
Speaker 6 (33:01):
You got a little skinny, skinny lanes and a concrete
wall north gloop six' ten. Westbound lookout at the squeeze forty.
Five got a wreck here reported and we got laneage

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Wnba does anybody know a player in THE wnba not
Named Caitlin clark or the woman who tries to Be
Caitlin clark's nemesis but without any, Talent Angel. Reese, well
apparently they think quite highly of. Themselves they had their
little basketball game in their quote Unquote All star weekend,
yesterday and they showed up in the warm ups WEARING

which is a pretty bold. Statement oh, well what do
we owe? YOU i think that's a fair.
Speaker 5 (34:59):
Question what is the?
Speaker 1 (35:01):
League?
Speaker 3 (35:01):
Oh these players that they say they're not getting paid
fairly for it because we've all seen the. Comparisons you
see them all the time if you're online social media
and you see these wage charts COMPARING nba. Players the
worst player on AN nba roster compared to the best
player on A wnba roster is making tons more, money
(35:22):
and they're mad about. That they think they should be
paid on a par with THE. Nba so if you're
gonna wear shirt that says.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
Pay us what?
Speaker 7 (35:30):
Shous what do we owe? You all, right let's talk about.

Radio, yeah he stole that From. Biden everybody.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Knows, Okay so THE wnba players wore their jersey or
THEIR t, shirts but you know they're warm ups that
said pay us what you owe. Us let's and by the,
way here's an example of one of those online memes
THAT i was talking. About this is from last, year
twenty twenty. Four there's an article, headlined is THE wnba
a profitable? League and then it talked, about you, know
(38:25):
the paid. Disparity for, example the highest PAID wnba player
made two hundred and twenty eight thousand dollars last. Year,
Meanwhile Steph curry was set to make forty eight million
dollars in one season last. Year so this is what they're,
saying pay us what you owe, us and let's let's
talk about what is owed here Because Steph, curry maybe
(38:47):
unbeknownst to the, women actually helps generate hundreds of millions
of dollars a year for his, team billions of dollars
a year for his, league which is extraordinarily.
Speaker 7 (39:00):
Profitable how about THE.
Speaker 3 (39:02):
Wnba, well they've been in existence now for twenty nine.
Years in those twenty nine, years they have been estimated
to have lost approximately one point five billion dollars one
point five billion. Dollars they have never had a single
(39:23):
year in the twenty nine years of its existence in
which they did turn a. Profit in, fact they lose
on average forty to fifty million dollars a.
Speaker 7 (39:32):
Year so how is it that they still?
Speaker 3 (39:34):
Exist they exist thanks to the large s of THE,
nba which funds the entire operation and, yes the operating,
deficit the budget deficit for THE. Wnba this is not
a knock on. Women it is a knock on women's.
Basketball it's not. Entertaining Caitlin clark came in last year
(39:58):
and made it somewhat more, entertaining but guess, what and
a lot more tickets were sold and the ratings went,
up no question about. It but even with The Caitlin clark,
effect they're losing money hand over. FIST Nba Commissioner Adam
silver's twenty eighteen revelation that the league had lost an
average of more than ten million dollars annually since its,
(40:19):
inception forty million last year down from a fifty million dollar,
forecast indicates a trend of substantial annual. Deficits these losses
are absorbed by THE, nba which owned sixty percent of the.
League so Botton wine is when they when they say
pay us what. Yours, well if we wanted to do the,
(40:40):
math somebody figured this. Out if we wanted to do
the math and take a look at a fifty million dollar,
loss or even the forty million dollar loss that they
had last, year and divide that forty million dollar loss
among all of the players in the, league it comes
out to an average of around three hundred and seventy
five thousand dollars each player owes the. League let's say that,
(41:00):
Again pay us what you owe. Us the owners should
be wearing those. Shirts pay us what you owe, us.
Ladies nobody likes to watch, airballs balls clanging off the
side of the, backboard ball's being thrown into the, crowd double.
Dribbles nobody likes to watch people tripping over their.
Speaker 7 (41:19):
Feet this is just the reality of.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
It until you can start playing at a level that
is much more entertaining and makes people want to come and.
Speaker 7 (41:26):
Watch until you.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
Can fly high and throw it down unless you can
all shoot Like Caitlin, clark nobody's, watching nobody's watching your
seventy five to sixty eight, games in which, well quite,
frankly it's more cringing and awkward than it is graceful and.
Entertaining pay us what you owe. Us you, say, well
let's let the fans determine. That five fifty. Six, now

means fewer stories about, local, farms, fisheries businesses about what's
happening in the, state house about musicians and civic leaders
who make our. Communities tick it means fewer voices reflecting

stories about what connects us and brings us. Closer together and,

though AGAIN, The Ceo, catherine marr testified Before a house
Judiary or, i'm Sorry a house committee just several months
ago and was asked specifically about the bias of, the
(56:17):
organization because this of course goes to whether or not
it's in serving. The public it doesn't really provide a
public service if it is only using one particular ideological
set of. Talking points she declared, that no there is no,
bias whatsoever and that everything is quote unquote fair, and
balanced except for the Fact That Congressman, jim jordan WITH
whom i speak on a, weekly basis asked her directly
(56:40):
the Number of democrats versus Number of republicans WORKING in.
Npr newsrooms she claims she didn't know until he quoted
the answer to her literally Zero zero republicans WORKING. At
npr all of them Are. Registered democrats those who would answer,
the question which is not possib to, be accidental it
(57:02):
is it is not possible for that to be An
organic just so happened. That way they were not hiring
anybody that did not see things and carry out the
duties with that ideological point of view and that agenda.

Found out late Last Week Harris County Judge lena hidalgo
wants to raise. Property taxes she's proposing a one cent
property tax increase to fund early childhood education that would
add ten bucks per one hundred thousand dollars in. Property
values she wants to bring Into The commissioner's Court on
august seventh to. A vote if it was, approved there
it would go to the voters On the. November ballot
joining us now, To React State Senator paul Bettencourt From,
(59:23):
houston senator, Good, morning.
Speaker 17 (59:25):
Yeah, Good.
Speaker 10 (59:26):
Morning bob is just another smash and Grab By Judge.
Speaker 5 (59:28):
Lena hildago that's a pretty good way to.
Speaker 7 (59:32):
Describe it, TELL us i mean.
Speaker 3 (59:34):
THE legislatures i understand it's been working very hard to
actually lower property taxes For for texas homeowners property.
Speaker 7 (59:41):
Owners, right, Well.
Speaker 10 (59:42):
Absolutely, BOB look i guess my superpowers is every time
that she tries one of, these Deals because i've got
to pass a bill to. Stop, her now it's not
as just as small as ten bucks per one.
Speaker 5 (59:55):
Hundred thousand she's.
Speaker 10 (59:57):
Talking about spending fifty five million dollars on some type
of early. Childhood, education now, first off the state has
spent eight point five billion dollars into.
Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
The public school system all.
Speaker 10 (01:00:09):
The way down to pre k were then then on top,
of that we're putting ten billion dollars more in the property.
Tax relief but as, a leftist progressive socialist lean to
thinks of nothing, to, saying oh let's go throw another,
you know fifty million dollars onto the tax, payers bills
and that's really going to cost the average home more
(01:00:29):
like about thirty five bucks. A year and she did it, Last,
year bob and we had to pass the bill of.
A stopper she Drove a matt truck through the, disaster
code Claimed That hurricane burley cost him a bunch. Of,
money well what they did was smash the taxpayers for
four hundred million dollars worth of, excess taxes and they
(01:00:51):
basically raised everybody's tax.
Speaker 5 (01:00:53):
Bill by three.
Speaker 17 (01:00:54):
Hundred bucks so we're gonna.
Speaker 10 (01:00:56):
She's doing, it AGAIN and i, guess fortunately, You know
governor has called us in for special, session today so
literally today or in.
Speaker 5 (01:01:05):
The next couple.
Speaker 10 (01:01:06):
Of, Days well i'll be filing a bill to knock
this back because it's just it's just constant drum beat
from her because as a, democrat socialist all she wants
is more of.
Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Your money how's she's, Selling, IT senator, i mean because
what you just said is. Pretty alarming is there some
dearth of childhood or early? Childhood education is there some
study or something that that would make this.
Speaker 7 (01:01:28):
Even, necessary.
Speaker 10 (01:01:31):
No this is a pilot program that was federal money
that CAME. Through covid okay that people, you Know Like
commissioner's court. Spent it but the real thing is.
Speaker 5 (01:01:42):
You've asked the. Right question how she's?
Speaker 10 (01:01:43):
Selling, it well a year ago, she, said oh the
tax increase is only going to be. Eight percent it was,
fifteen percent and the public, you know barely bought it
at fifty one percent forty nine because we had an Election.
In november that's what she's talking. About Now so, Lena, lies,
well gee we know. She lies but what's sad about
(01:02:06):
it is that she lied last time and it cost
everybody three hundred bucks and then we passed A Bill
house bill thirty and it. Stopped her it will stop
her from doing. That again but she's back to the,
taxpayer well wanting to figure out some way to take
more of. Your money and so it's time to really
(01:02:27):
raise stake about this because she has to get other
people On A commissioner's court to say to do This
on august, the seventh and it's time to Just tell
lena just.
Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
Say, no well it's a good thing you are there
with your superpowers of writing bills and stopping her, from
this because the people in your the people in your
district and everybody else is going to be very very
happy if they don't get taken for another Fifty Mel
Senator State senator paul Bett, in court best of luck
in the special, session today and thanks for, the.
Speaker 5 (01:02:57):
Time, sir, Yeah, thanks bob.
Speaker 10 (01:02:59):
And everybody he needs to vote for the home stead
increases that we've got on the Ballot. In november those
will lower your. Tax bill anything That Jez leen hildagu
does is just going to. Raise him and that's why
vote yes, on one vote no on.
Speaker 3 (01:03:13):

Of historic over one hundred documents that we Released on
friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treason
is conspiracy was Directed By president obama.
Speaker 19 (01:33:46):
Just weeks before he was due to, leave.
Speaker 9 (01:33:48):
Office After president trump had already. Gotten elected this is
Not a Democrat or. Republican issue this is an issue
that is so serious it should concern Every single american
because it has to do with the integrity of our.
Democratic republic what we saw occur, here is as the
documents we, released detailed was that we had a sitting
(01:34:08):
president Of The united states and his cabinet and, leadership team,
quite frankly who were not happy with the Fact That
president trump had won, the election That the american people
Had CHOSEN. Donald j trump to be the next president
commander in chief Of The, united states and so they
decided that they would do everything possible to try to
undermine his ability to do what Voters Task president trump. To,
(01:34:31):
do so creating this piece of manufactured intelligence that Claims
that russia Had Helped donald trump get elected contradicted every
other assessment that had been made previously in the months
leading up to the election that said exactly, the Opposite
that russia neither had.
Speaker 19 (01:34:49):
Neither the intent nor the capability to try to.
Speaker 9 (01:34:52):
Quote unquote Hack The united states election for the presidency
Of The. United states so the effect Of What president
obama and his senior national security team did was subvert
the will Of the, american people undermining our democratic republic
and enacting what would be essentially a year's long Coup Against,
(01:35:14):
president trump who was duly elected By the.
Speaker 3 (01:35:17):
American people subverting the will of the people to undermine
a president who was duly elected by those people sounds
to me like one might call that a threat.
Speaker 7 (01:35:28):
To democracy where have you heard?

his time, with it because you can't tell even a
president cannot tell a private business what they, call itself
what they, call themselves and he's not going to be
able to make them change. Their names so it's probably
a waste. Of TIME but i do agree, with YOU
and i love the Idea of Redskins in indian. Being,
restored okay let's go back to that. SPECIAL session a
lot of emergency Issued issue, i'm sorry emergency warning issue
(01:42:09):
events as a part of the agenda set Forth By
governor abbott in the, Special Session trenton rippy joins us

Speaker 7 (01:42:17):
Liberty trenton, Good morning, Good morning thank you for having.
Me on good to.
Speaker 3 (01:42:21):
Have, you so tell us a little bit about the agenda.
ITEMS here i see flood. WARNING systems i see emergency
communications relief funding For The hill country area.
Speaker 7 (01:42:31):
As well what can you?
Speaker 32 (01:42:32):
Tell, US yeah, i mean, you know just From what
i've taken a, look at and, YOU know i deal
with a lot of young people on kind of our
campus side, of things and, YOU know i talk to
a lot of people to issues really matter. To them
and just from the nature of, THIS session i think
we're going to see a big priority focus on those
flood related pieces. Of legislation what those are going to
(01:42:54):
look like versus what the governor is, asking for not
really one hundred percent sure what we're going to look at.
Speaker 5 (01:43:00):
ON that, i mean you saw this.
Speaker 32 (01:43:02):
LAST session, i mean anytime there was a mild disagreement,
over semantics we had point, of order point, of order point.
Speaker 5 (01:43:08):
Of order so this could be something where we're seeing,
you know millions of.
Speaker 32 (01:43:13):
Dollars allocated could see maybe, you know thousands of dollars
allocated to the disaster.
Speaker 5 (01:43:18):
Relief Funds so i'm certainly curious to see how that's
going to.
Speaker 32 (01:43:23):
Turn out but that's Definitely one like if you had to,
ask me what's the one thing that's going to be accomplished, Or,
tackled uh that would.
Speaker 5 (01:43:32):
Be the ISSUE that i believe that legislature is going to. Go,
after yeah no question. About it that, is very.
Speaker 3 (01:43:37):
Very important let's talk about some of those issue issues Facing.
Young americans since you Are With young Americans, For liberty
protecting CHILDREN from thhc is going to be on, this
agenda legislation making it a crime to provide hemp derived
products to children under twenty one years, of age and
also regulating those hemp derived.
Speaker 7 (01:43:55):
Products themselves what do?
Speaker 32 (01:43:56):
You, think, YEAH well i would like to challenges. The language,
first off on the term children under. TWENTY one I
think i'd be fine with children. Under EIGHTEEN but i
think just like with, you know. Other substances, of course,
you know we raise tobacco to, twenty ONE which i disagree.
WITH personally i think if you're an adult living on
(01:44:17):
your own you ought to be able to consume. THOSE substances,
I mean i would argue that in some cases we
see more violence and damage to health, From ALCOHOL but
i still support an eighteen to twenty year old being
able to purchase, a beer especially if you can go
en list, the military purchase firearm.
Speaker 5 (01:44:36):
Pay TAXES but i.
Speaker 32 (01:44:38):
Do see the concern for certainly people, under eighteen miners
that you know don't have THE full i guess scope
to make those decisions yet about substances that you know
could have long lasting effects on them with, you know too.
Much CONSUMPTION so, I mean i think that we won't
(01:45:01):
see an all an all out ban like, was ATTEMPTED
but i think we're gonna see probably some. MORE regulations i,
would assume probably something related to maybe the type, of
marketing maybe higher penalties on, you know distributors that distribute.
To minors it could be Something like State. OF oklahoma
(01:45:23):
i don't know if they're going to try and issue
some sort. Of card so it's gonna be interesting to
see kind of the pushback that they GET from i
think kind of the younger voter base that does want
TO consume thhd products versus kind of the, older GENERATION
and i think that's where we're seeing a lot of, the.
DISCONNECT right i think it's a generational issue where people,
(01:45:43):
like myself, you know we SEE marijuana thhc products and, it's, like,
Eh whatever like it's just like, a beer just like,
you know smoking a pack. Of cigarettes but for some
people it's been kind, of demonized in, my opinion unfairly
when we compare it to.
Speaker 29 (01:45:57):
Other.
Speaker 3 (01:45:57):
Substances, yeah, YEAH well i think thank YOU and i
can agree on the eighteen to twenty. ONE thing i
think we have to decide what an. ADULT is, i
think not Just, in texas with, this country we have
to decide what is an adult eighteen or twenty one
because of these different.
Speaker 7 (01:46:09):
Standards that you're.
Speaker 3 (01:46:09):
Talking about any other items on The special agenda list
that are of great interest to you and To Young americans, for,
LIBERTY yeah I mean i.
Speaker 32 (01:46:17):
Would like to, think that, you know property taxes is
something that is important to young people.
Speaker 5 (01:46:22):
And myself, You know i'd like to be able to
own a home.
Speaker 32 (01:46:24):
One day, you know right now it's already pretty unaffordable
in a lot, of places AND so i think that,
you know eliminating property tax outright allows more home buyers
to be able to own. Their home, you know, right
now as long as there's, property taxes you'll never run.
A home you'll always be renting out to. The GOVERNMENT
(01:46:45):
so i don't want to just see small. INCREMENTAL cuts
i want to see complete and total. Abolition eventually so
that's an issue that's important. To me that's an issue
that seems to be important to a lot of people
my AGE that i talk to when we talk about.
Like taxes, of course You know texas with their, income
tax that's already been very beneficial. Since THAT whenever i
(01:47:06):
ended up first moving Out of texas compared.
Speaker 3 (01:47:09):
To, you KNOW where i.
Speaker 7 (01:47:10):
WAS living i THINK the i think.
Speaker 3 (01:47:12):
THE generations i think The generations trenton are in agreement.
ON that i think seniors are worried about their property
taxes being taxed out of their homes that they have
bought and. Paid for and then young folks, LIKE yourself
i think. As well property tax is a huge Issue
in texas quite frankly across.
Speaker 7 (01:47:26):
The country trent rat of.
Speaker 3 (01:47:28):

FROM the cbs late. Night, Lineup Yes, stephen colbert As,
(01:55:40):
of may as you know or maybe you, don't know.
Is gone apparently he was losing the network somewhere in
the neighborhood of forty million dollars. A year don't know
exactly how they come to, those decisions but that's what.
They decided and the left is is crying that this.
Is censorship the, left says This Is donald trump along with,
(01:56:01):
the cancelation not, the cancelation but the defunding by about
one point one billion DOLLARS of NPR. And, Pbs Now
stephen colbert being fired by a. Private company are, not
fired but the show is going to. Be canceled in
may This Is donald trump exercising. Censorship powers we told
you it's going to.
Speaker 44 (01:56:19):
Be fascist this has this has not been a great
week for free speech and speaking truth to power without.
A doubt look the, circumstantial evidence and that's all we
have is. AS follows cbs has said that they Are
Canceling stephen colbert after next season for. Financial reasons at the,
same time we, also know as you said in, the
intro that it is the number one show in its.
(01:56:41):
Time slot and we also know that the new parent COMPANY,
for cbs or.
Speaker 38 (01:56:47):
They hope to be the new, parent company has has
spent money on.
Speaker 1 (01:56:51):
Other things so it's.
Speaker 44 (01:56:54):
Very curious and we have to also make Note That
stephen colbert is on a raid to again speak truth.
To power he does it in a very bipartisan way over,
the years and comedy and parity is an important part
of a, democratic ecosystem and it's the.
Speaker 19 (01:57:12):
Chilling effect is certainly concerning the.
Speaker 3 (01:57:14):
Chilling effect because he speaks truth. To power all of
these ORGANIZATIONS like PBS and Npr And stephen colbert speak truth.
To power what exactly do they have to say about
the one of the other lead stories that we have of,
the morning in which it is being revealed that parents
were targeted Directly By joe biden and numerous platforms to
(01:57:41):
silence parents who spoke quote truth, To power parents who
went to school boards and protested some of the radicalism
in their schools that their children were being. Exposed to
they were targeted By the. Biden administration isn't that speaking truth?
To power isn't canceling them, BY literally i mean headlines are.
(01:58:01):
Damning here career attorneys IN the doj argued in the
release correspondence that moves like this were legally baseless and
With Trample first amendment rights. For parents what we're talking
about Is The Biden justice department seeking a federal hook
to investigate and criminally charged parents who protested school policies RELATED, to,
covid transgenderism critical.
Speaker 7 (01:58:22):
Race theory and. Other issues that's speaking truth.
Speaker 3 (01:58:25):
To power and they literally tried to shut every one
of these parents up and potentially even again criminally. Charged
them but now we're supposed to CRY because npr has
to sell its own advertising or solicit its own donations
rather than being given our. Taxpayer dollars now we're supposed
to Cry Because stephen colbert had his. Show canceled they
said he was number one in his. Time slot you,
(01:58:46):
know what they compared that, to right, only networks only,
the networks because it gets its butt Kicked By, fox
news even at. His hour so if you a cable
show can, beat it how exactly you? Know successful?
Speaker 14 (01:58:59):
Is?
Speaker 3 (01:58:59):
That really so they're Complaining that trump is chilling free
Speech Because stephen colbert LOSES the.
Speaker 7 (01:59:06):
Cbs money you can't even write.

Having, me on yeah it's pleasure.
Speaker 37 (02:04:18):
TO have you.
Speaker 3 (02:04:18):
I appreciate that, so you know gender affirming is a
euphemism for. Experimenting on Kids these are gebels esque types of,
experiments on kids from the puberty blockers all the way
through the, cross sex hormones under. The Actual surgery so texas,
rightly says now can't do that to kids who are
incapable of. Giving informed consent makes. No sense whatsoever so
(02:04:40):
who's taking them kids out of the Kids out of
texas and getting this? Stuff done ELSEWHERE.
Speaker 29 (02:04:45):
Here's what i.
Speaker 45 (02:04:46):
Can tell You At The good trouble live On Protests,
IN city hall I Spoke, with mandy giles who is
The founder Of Parents, of krans youth who gave, us
an interview explained non governmental organizations are Assisting in transporting
Texas Children to new mexico and other STATES for this
(02:05:10):
lgbt gender affirming treatment that is illegal in The. State
of texas she explained to me that some of these
organizations are actually prefer to avoid using tax dollars because
of what she called the. Quote strings attached there's a
(02:05:32):
series of organizations, that do this but she mentioned.
Speaker 4 (02:05:37):
ONE of them.
Speaker 5 (02:05:39):
I think if you give, ME.
Speaker 26 (02:05:41):
One second i will give you the name of the
one that she mentioned, As the one.
Speaker 5 (02:05:48):
But there.
Speaker 45 (02:05:49):
Are certainly others stand, by one second or if you want,
To keep talking i'll pull it.
Speaker 7 (02:05:56):
Up, all yeah no, if you could that, would be great.
Speaker 3 (02:05:58):
Because we do we need to expose these organizations whomever
they are in order, to stop it because what we're
talking about is The circumvention of. Texas state law if
you Are working in texas to break the law by
taking Kids, out of, texas, you know yeah maybe the
procedures or maybe the prescriptions or whatever are being filled and,
the uh uh these things are being done out.
Speaker 5 (02:06:19):
Of the state but if.
Speaker 3 (02:06:20):
It is originating, if the assistance the aiding and a
betting if you will starts, within the state, then to
me you're you're you are indeed. Violating STATE law and
i think everybody needs to know who these organizations are
so that pressure can be brought on them.
Speaker 5 (02:06:34):
To stop this uh did?
Speaker 34 (02:06:36):
You?
Speaker 26 (02:06:36):
Did You what what mandy told me Is that The
Campaign For southern Equality Campaign, for southern equality and you
can go to Their website on.
Speaker 4 (02:06:46):
Southernequality, dot, org.
Speaker 26 (02:06:49):
Uh THEY, according to uh The founder of Parents for
trans youth or the largest one that are actively taking
or taking funding kids to other states.
Speaker 4 (02:07:04):
FOR these treatments i don't think her organization.
Speaker 46 (02:07:09):
Does that directly, because, she said hey these are the partners,
THAT do so i Think It's a southern equality that
actually does the work.
Speaker 5 (02:07:19):
Of transporting kids.
Speaker 3 (02:07:21):
So, To, your knowledge joseph is there anyone in law
enforcement or anybody in the state legislature or anybody else
that can act on this since state law forbids what
you know.
Speaker 5 (02:07:31):
What, they're doing.
Speaker 26 (02:07:34):
Well there's certainly some measures that.
Speaker 19 (02:07:38):
That.
Speaker 4 (02:07:39):
Can be taken but what.
Speaker 46 (02:07:43):
What our publisher mentioned on an interview regarding this topic
is that he thought that the reason that is are
being taken to get these treatments outside of The state
of texas is because there's in fact other. Places take
them and so one of the important things would be
(02:08:05):
to have people legislators And For, example new mexico which
is the closest state allowing. This to, happen You Know
if new mexico Wants cast, straight TEXAS.
Speaker 26 (02:08:16):
Children Then i guess texas children won't Be Taken to
new mexico to get test strated.
Speaker 5 (02:08:21):
And So, on.
Speaker 3 (02:08:23):
Joseph tremor a reporter Of It, the texas scorecard highlighting
a really really disturbing story about kids being taken out
of state to have these terrible things done to them
In violation. Of, texas law joseph thank you for. Doing
the reporting, we appreciate it and also for your. Time
this morning thank.
Speaker 1 (02:08:39):
You so much appreciate your.
Speaker 19 (02:08:41):
Time and.
Speaker 5 (02:08:41):
Attention thank you it is.
Speaker 3 (02:08:43):
Seven fifty seven we are. Out of time thank you
so much for letting me be a Part. Of your
monday i'm going to be a Part of your tuesday
