Speaker 7 (01:41):
This is a failure of the Republicans. This tactic has
been talked about for days and weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
We knew this was coming.

Speaker 6 (01:48):
Texas State Rep. Brian Harrison on the Democrat House members

Then, by the way, Dems wanted you to give them
the money to pay the five hundred dollars a day.
They'll be fined for doing this. So how did we
get to this point?

Speaker 9 (02:43):
President Trump? What's the political boundaries redrawn? So Republicans can
pick up five seats in Congress? But is that possible
under these maps? GOP strategists Matt MCCOVEYAC says they are
cleverly drawn.

Speaker 10 (02:53):
It is now possible. But I think what's far more
likely is at a minimum we will net you know,
two or three or maybe even four seats.

but the governor wants to cap spending by local governments.
James Kintaro of the Texas Public Policy Foundation says this
could be a real solution, you know, if Democrats come
back and pass this.

Speaker 11 (03:29):
Ultimately, we have to get to a place where we're
putting guardrails around spending, because spending is the problem. And
unless we get to that route, we will never fully
address what's happening at the local level.

Speaker 6 (03:43):

Miller on Fox. Legal analysts like Fox's Jonathan Chirley called
this the greatest political con job in American history.

Speaker 13 (04:27):
The question now is what sort of legal consequences are
going to come from all this.

Speaker 14 (04:31):

folks on those allegations, so that is likely going to
be the issue with here.

Speaker 13 (04:39):
Attorney dun And Biles says, this scandal has completely destroyed
public trust in our intelligence community.

Speaker 14 (04:44):
Intensely creating a false story to damage the credibility and

O waito time here on Houston's morning News. Do you
like cookies?

Speaker 18 (07:31):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Who doesn't like cookies, the chocolate chip cookie. Do you
think that's you think that's America's favorite cookie? Is that
your favorite cookie? Or do you have a cookie you
like more than a chocolate chip cookie. It's tough to
beat a good chocolate chip cookie. I know when my
mom made them, she always used the toll House recipe.

(07:52):
Toll House is named after the Toll House Inn in Whipman, Massachusetts.
They are credited with inventing chalcolate chip cookies back in
nineteen thirty seven when Ruth Wakefield, a chef there, cut
a semi sweet chocolate bar into bits and added them
to her butter Drop Do cookies, whatever those were, and

(08:13):
then she published a recipe for the cookies in nineteen
thirty eight, and Neslie began promoting the recipe on its packaging,
and then the company ads and they've been a hit
ever since. Generally leave to be America's most popular cookie.
Today's National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. So that's my question
of the day today has to do with well, let's

(08:34):
let's settle a couple of things here. First of all,
you have to take mom out of the equation, because
the best chocolate chip cookies always came from mom. So, Mom, can't,
we can't, we can't credit bomb in the poll. And
I'm gonna make it even tougher. Best store bought chocolate
chip cookie in Houston, whether you think it's a supermarket

(08:57):
or if you think it is a specialty bakery, wherever
you think, it is the best chocolate chip cookie in Houston.
And along with that, if you have, if you if
you were relegated to store bought cookies, you know the
package pre package store bought cookies? Where would you? Who's
your favorite? Are you a Chipsyhoy fan? Are you a

(09:19):
a Peppera's Farm fan? Who do you think has the
best chocolate chip cookie? Right, I'll get you to work
on that. You go to the iHeart radio app kt RH.
Please make us number one on your pre set. Once
you get there, hit the talkback button. You get up

and it's about a typical of forecast as you would
have at this time of the year, you know, lots
of sunshine and a shower chance just about every day.

Speaker 20 (10:18):
Yeah, the sea breeze will be the focal point four
some afternoon and early evening thunderstorms as we had through
the start of the week. Fortunately not as high as
it was yesterday, and we got to ninety eight near
ninety three this afternoon. After some initial sunshine, we'll see
a few of those scattered thuderstorms popping up and then
partly cloudy overnight down to seventy eight degrees. Not much
of a change tomorrow, just a little bit hotter early
sun than a few afternoon storms up to ninety five,
and that's the trend for Wednesday. Sunday starts in the

(10:40):
morning and then some afternoon thunderstorms popping up with the
Hive ninety four. And we'll stay in mid nineties Thursday

Had the Houston Want Us team all the info you
need to take on the day, five nineteen is their
time here in Houston's Morning News. So did you see
John Radcliffe over the weekend? John Radcliffe was on Where
was he? He was on Fox, one of the shows
on Fox over the weekend, and he was just kind
of laying out what we've learned from the Durham Report,
that you know, the parts they got declassified. What we've

(11:22):
learned about Democrat involvement in the Russia hoax, how was
signed off on by Hillary, how it was funded by
George Sorows, how it was supported by the FBI. I mean,
it is a deep state nightmare that just isn't getting
reported by the mainstream media. Not that any of us

(11:43):
are surprised by that anymore, right, But there are plenty
of people out there who have no idea what happened
with that, and will not have an idea of what
happened with that. They're just not baying attention. But I
pulled a cliff for you. I'm going to share that
with you coming up next first though, at five twenty. Well,
traffic and weather together, we've got to jumping jail filling

This is just developing out of the Middle East.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Now right now, it's developing. What use radio seven KTRH.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Five twenty two start time. All right, so you don't
get more involved in this, right you purchase the Steele dots.
You sign your HRC, Hillary Rodham Clinton, you sign off
on it. Yep, let's do this. You get James Colber
and the FBI involved in in cooperating with this, George

(13:54):
Soros is funding it. I mean, it's just, it's just
it's an active treason is basically what it is. But
let's get let's get the whole scenario in detail. Now
here's John Radcliffe, the CIA Director, on thoughts.

Speaker 15 (14:12):
Over the weekend, there was intelligence from foreign intelligence services
that one US presidential candidate was trying to frame another
candidate for treason, claiming that he was an agent of
a foreign power, an agent of Russia, and that intelligence
was never shared with you or I as members of

(14:32):
Congressional Oversight Committees on Intelligence, and you know, but for
a good fortune of me being able to find John
Brennan's notes and declassify that that secret may have been
hidden forever, but I was able to provide that to
John Durham, and you see some of that in his
annex that was declassified this week. And so what you
learned in this annex that many people didn't know before

(14:55):
was details of that Hillary Clinton plan and how to
included groups like the Soros Foundation and the roles.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
That the FBI played.

Speaker 15 (15:03):
So before all of this started, Trey, what we did
know was this that only six July thirty first of
twenty sixteen, the FBI did something as shocking as it
was unprecedented. They opened a criminal investigation into a nominee
for president, a candidate for president Donald Trump, something that
had never been done before.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
But what you learned in John Brennan's annex.

Speaker 15 (15:26):
This week was six days before that Russian intelligence predicted
that's exactly what would happen, that there was a Hillary
Clinton plan and that the FBI would pour oil on
the fire of a firestorm that would consume the country
for the next three years.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
So think about that, Trey.

Speaker 15 (15:45):
Either the Russians made the greatest prediction or the luckiest
guests of all time, or this intelligence was real. And
of course the answer is this intelligence was real, and
how do we know that. Well, subsequently, under penalty of perjury,
while under oath, Hillary Clinton's own campaign manager confirmed that

(16:05):
there was such a plan and.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
That Hillary approved it.

Speaker 15 (16:08):
So that I think, in addition to what you learn
about the FBI's role that came out this week was
that this intelligence that was so shocking that John Brennan
brought together the National Security Council, President Obama, Vice President Biden, Clapper,
Comy Susan Rice and brief them on this intelligence about

(16:29):
a Hillary Clinton plan to frame Donald Trump, and that
the CIA made the required referral of that to the
FBI to investigate that as a counterintelligence matter.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
And as John Durham.

Speaker 15 (16:42):
Found, the FBI buried it. They didn't open a file,
they didn't assign an analyst, they didn't investigate it all.
They just spent the next few years really amplifying the
lie of Hillary Clinton's Steele dossier and burying the truth
of her plan to frame Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
And they left all the evidence. That's the most shocking
part is they left all these all the evidence in
burn bags so the new incoming FBI director could find
all this stuff. Just amazing. So when are the charges coming? Well, you,
under the best of circumstances, you know, Congress, right, we're

(17:21):
gonna have to have a lot of meetings and committees
and all this would be better turned over to Pambondi
in the Department of Justice. Let her determine if they've
have enough evidence for charges, and let's bring some dog
on charges. Five six, as we get started with a
look at your money this morning from our friends over
there at Bloomberg.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Here's Jeff, and good morning, Jimmy. A.

Speaker 21 (17:44):

their union leader who recommended that the Boeing offer be approved.
One more job market indicator is on the way today.

(18:06):
We'll get the Conference Board's Employment Trends Index. It could
get some extra attention from economists who are trying to
determine whether the slow down and hiring that we heard
about on Friday will continue. Stocks did take a hit
after that weaker that expected July employment report. The major

to two into quarter percent on Friday, but the futures

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Hey you, Jimmy five thirty one on KTRH.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
Our top story, more winning for President Donald Trump and
more crying from the mainstream media.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
We may be.

Speaker 23 (20:19):
Dealing with negative net migration to the United States in
twenty twenty five. That would be the first time there
is negative net migration in this country and at least
fifty years.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
The freak out on CNN.

Speaker 6 (20:31):
This would be after two point eight million people came
here last year when Joe Biden was president. But more
attacks on ICE agents in illegal alien accused of attempting
to run over federal agents in Colorado. Apparently had been
previously deported six times. He's got prior convictions for child

(20:54):
The Trump administration defending the firing of the Biden appointed
BLS Commissioner Erica Macintar for after a disappointing jobs report
on Friday and downward revisions from May and June.

Speaker 24 (21:07):
They keep being revised all over the place. Then they're
going to be people that wonder if there's a partisan
pattern in the data.

Speaker 6 (21:13):
National Economics Council Director Kevin Hassett on Fox Overnight, trading
up across the board this morning, Dow futures up two
hundred and seventy eight points. Tariffs are bringing in a
lot of money to the US, and President Trump is
now floating the idea of giving some of that to you.

Speaker 25 (21:31):
There could be a distribution or dividend to the people
of our country. I would say for people that would
be middle income people and lower income people, we could
do a dividend.

Speaker 6 (21:41):
The president of Board Air Force one last night. Meantime,
potential movement in the dispute on trade between the US
and Canada.

Speaker 26 (21:49):
Canada as of now, faces a thirty five percent tariff
as imposed by the Trump administration. Canada's US trade Minister
Dominic LeBlanc said he's optimistic. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney
and President Trump we'll talk further about trade in the
coming days.

Speaker 6 (22:05):
Arnelle Scott reporting this comes as oil producers are nervous
that a thirty five percent tariff on energy imports from
Canada would hit refineries in the northern part of our country.
Producers still depend on connect Canada, specifically for diesel.

Speaker 27 (22:20):
The refineries across America, especially up to the northeast, like
in Detroit and Chicago, rely heavily on oil from Canada.
If the tariff goes into effect, drivers in the region
could see a noticeable spike at the pump.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Oil analyst Ray Travino.

Speaker 6 (22:36):
They're oil trading this morning at sixty six dollars and
forty five cents a barrel. That is down eighty eight
cents so far this morning. Our news time is now

Speaker 6 (22:58):
Pritzker, aiding the betting Texas Democrats who fled the state
yesterday ahead of a vote to approve new congressional maps.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
That vote was scheduled for today.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
By the way, Governor Abbitt is threatening those Democrats with
removal from the House if they don't come back to Austin.
And this comes just one day after a House committee
approved the maps and where Democrats like State Rep. Sophronia
Thompson said the quiet part out loud.

Speaker 29 (23:25):
Way nine is configurated and the areas they went in
is going to elect a Republican, not a black.

Speaker 6 (23:32):
Texas GOP Chairman Abraham George joins Jimmy at five point
fifty closer to US. Harris County commissioners are upset with
Judge Lena Hidalgo again. She's proposing another property tax increase
and doing it without giving them any warning.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
It's a major break from the norm.

Speaker 30 (23:50):
She wants to raise taxes a penny without having any
conversation with any of us on her initiative to take
this tax increase to the voters. It's just irresponsible.

Speaker 6 (24:02):
Precinc three's Tom Ramsey says things like this just go
to show that Hidalgo is clueless when it comes to
building consensus. Five point thirty five Now on KTRH, the
mainstream media is biased against President Trump and Republicans in general. Continues,
especially when you crunch the numbers. Looking at ABC and
their show The View, the numbers are irrefutable.

Speaker 31 (24:25):
They had one hundred and two liberal guests to zero
conservative guests between January sixth and when they went on
their summer hiatus.

Speaker 32 (24:33):
That's Nicholas Fondacaro, who did the study for NewsBusters.

Speaker 31 (24:37):
It's a completely one sided affair. Basically, the View's name
is really how the show works. Allow only one view
of the Democratic Party's view.

Speaker 32 (24:45):
The last time a conservative was on the show was
August of last year. Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty
k th coming up on five thirty six.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
More self driving truckers will be on I forty five
after an autonomous freight company expands its fleet to do
nighttime runs between Houston and Dallas. John Asparzo at the
Texas Trucking Association says these companies are not replacing qualified,
skilled drivers.

Speaker 33 (25:14):
The key to this is you've got companies that are
working to make our highways safer and they're doing it
through technology.

Speaker 6 (25:21):
For now, it's limited to three trucks making halls between
the two cities.

Aurora plans to add twenty more trucks with roots from
Fort Worth to Phoenix. The struggles continue for the Houston
Astros as they lose in Boston six to one, their
third straight loss. They're leading the Al West down to
two and a half games over Seattle. They visit the
Marlins tonight. Here's the lineup. Pregame at four point thirty

Just like your car, the new iHeart Radio app now
has precess.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Everything I listened to in one place.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
It's the easiest way to listen to Katry.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Download or update our free iHeartRadio app today. Come on,
it's not that hard to do your laundry. Five thirty
eight is their time. Although five percent of us never
do our laundry. I don't think that means that you
wear dirty clothes. I think that means you send everything
to the cleaners, or maybe you have hired help that

(26:31):
comes in and not only you know, cleans the house,
but changes the sheets, and washes the sheets, and does
the laundry. Maybe fifty percent of us say that we
always do our own laundry. Five percent never do their
own laundry and say somebody else always does it. Nine
percent claim they love doing laundry. I don't mind doing
laundry in our house. It's it's a divided chore. I

(26:52):
do mind laundry. Elizabeth does her laundry. She doesn't like
the way I do laundry. I don't like the way
she does laundry. I'll do mine, you do yours. That's
how that works. Forty nine percent of people say they
are totally neutral about doing laundry. Seventy seven percent of
them care at least a little bit about how it's done.
I very much care about how it's done and how

(27:13):
things are folded, which is why I do my own laundry.
People also have opinions about mixing colors and temperatures and
soaps or dryer sheets. How often you do your laundry
probably depends on the size of the household, but the
size of the wardrobe also has something to do with it.
How often do you wash clothes once a week? For me,
once a week usually on Saturday. Eighty percent of people

(27:36):
wash their underwear after wearring it once. That would be me.
Men were more likely to women to wear their underwear
multiple times before washing it.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Come on, guys.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Overall, five percent wear their underwear four or more times
before washing it.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
That's gross. It's absolutely gross.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Twenty nine percent of people wash their non gene pants
after one wear twenty one percent of wear them four
or more times before washing them. Ninety percent of people
wash their sweaters after one, where thirty two percent wear
them four or more times before washing them. That may
be one of the few things of sweater. I don't
wear sweaters a lot, but that may be one of
the few things I wear in multiple times before I

(28:20):
bothered to wash it. Sixteen percent of people wash their
jeans after one, where thirty six percent of them wear
them four or more times before washing them. Men more
likely than women to wear all of this stuff multiple
j of course, especially single men who don't like doing laundry.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
All right.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Question of today today National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day? Who
has in Houston? Who has? And I'm not talking about
your mom. I know your mom has the best chocolate
chip cookies. I'm talking about the best store bought chocolate
chip cookies. Who has the best, That's what I'm wondering.
Anybody got any ideas about that? Who has the best
chocolate chip.

Speaker 34 (28:54):
Good morning, Jimmy.

Speaker 29 (28:55):

our next update is at.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
SIX i live In.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
KATIE i live in It you're reliable forecast next on
the ten on seven FORTY. Ktrh, well the Runaway democrats
right now are In. Illinois they're the guest OF. Jb,
pritzker who's the governor. There very liberal, state very liberal,
governor so he's more than happy to provide cover joins
to talk about His Texas Republican party Chairman Abraham. George

(33:43):
we've already, talked Mister george about how many Times democrats
have done this and how it always. Fails but here
we go.

Speaker 3 (33:49):
Again.

Speaker 38 (33:49):
Huh, well you, know if they learn anything In, texas
they should stop doing what they're. DOING i, mean they
keep losing everything and now they're doing. This it's, crazy
but you know It's. Democrats he can really.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Change, That Governor, abbot you, know sounding. TOUGH i, mean
there are laws that have passed through the state legislature
about this particular activity since the last time it. Happened
they incur a five hundred dollars per day fine all
the ones who are not there to be a part
of the, quorum and maybe even more than, that the
governor is threatening to remove them from.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
Office can he do? That?

Speaker 38 (34:27):
Absolutely, so you, know a legislator can not show up
to work if there's like a family emergency or something going,
on but actually plan to not to show up to
work because our constitution says that if the governor calls
for a special, session the legislator shall show. Up and
it's very, simple it's not hard to. Do, understand and

(34:50):
they shall. Meet that is part of our.

Speaker 18 (34:52):
Constitution and if they actually.

Speaker 38 (34:55):
Go and leave and then please meditate to leave the,
state not only only governor can remove them from office
and put somebody else in there and they can fill the.

Speaker 18 (35:05):
Vacancy and top.

Speaker 38 (35:06):
Of, it governor is now talking about adding famerly charges
if they actually fundraise to do, this because that could
consider as bribing a. Legislator so this is going to
get really ugly really fast if they continue to play this.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Game well it sounds like really, fast is, right BECAUSE
i think the governor put a deadline of three pm
this afternoon on.

Speaker 38 (35:26):
This that's, right that's when This house coun, means we
can means today and they're going to talk about. Redistricting
they're they're going to talk about flood. Relief so, yeah
they the demp press should show up to. WORK i,
mean they need to be able to come to the
chamber and defend their. Position, unfortunately they don't have the
guts to do, it so they just left and meant To.

Speaker 18 (35:48):
Illinois in all the, states they could go To.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Illinois, okay Well, illinois Like illinois And, california you'd be
the first two PLACES i would expect them to go
because you, know you've got very friendly governors. There they're
more than happy to you, know the lobby on your.
Behalf now that's going to do any. Good so here
is there a mechanism in the state legislature that would
allow a vote to occur despite the fact that there's

(36:10):
not a, quorum.

Speaker 38 (36:13):
Not, NECESSARILY i mean there Are if the governor decides
he's going to have a, vacancy then the quorum, changes,
RIGHT i mean these members are not there, anymore so
the quorum. Changes but without, it you, know we're going
to need to have a hundred people, There.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Okay so safe to, say no matter what, happens a
court case will be coming, next. Right i'm sure The
democrats are just going to walk away if if they
basically get let go by the governor this afternoon for
not showing. Up so this whole thing ends up in
court at some. Point oh, yeah. DEFINITELY i Mean Attorney
John Ken.

Speaker 38 (36:48):
Paxton had an opinion and this was right after the
twenty twenty one.

Speaker 18 (36:54):
DEAL i think it's kps it'll be eighty.

Speaker 38 (36:57):
Two and it actually says whether the law laws for
the determination of the legislators being.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Vacated it, actually uh.

Speaker 38 (37:08):
Will get to a court and the court will have
a district court will have final say in. It so
obviously it's going to go to court And democrats are
going to fund it.

Speaker 18 (37:16):
Up we're gonna we're gonna see some National democrats backing these.
People we're already seeing.

Speaker 38 (37:22):
Some of, them but we're we're gonna most likely go
to see like money From george sorows and major donors
defending them to break. Korum so this is going to
be this is gonna be a long battle for them
if they get. Removed but you, Know governor is not
planning playing around, anymore and neither is The house, members

(37:42):
which which is interesting because that's not something we saw last.
Time and they did, this they talked about, it but
they didn't really do. Anything AND i Think governor's upset
that nothing, happened that they did not get punished for
the last.

Speaker 18 (37:57):
Time SO i think he's taking the lead on.

Speaker 2 (37:59):

news Nicholas fonte caro joins us associate Editor at newsbus
to this story about how they've had zero conservatives so
far in twenty. Twenty five and, Quite, honestly nicholas that's

(51:30):
okay because if they any conservative they, have on they're
just going to beat them, up anyway.

Speaker 31 (51:34):
Aren't, they yeah and thank you for like traumatizing me
with the music story to get in and.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
Me on sorry. About that it's.

Speaker 1 (51:43):
All good so we know What the.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
View is we also know that there are Other Shows
stephen colbert was, among them who were pretty much the.
Same Way stephen colbert has. Been canceled how long Before
the view. Gets canceled they can't have big ratings members at,
this point.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
Do, they yeah here's.

Speaker 31 (52:03):
The thing they actually are. Fairly popular they routinely become
the number one daytime. Talk show they are actually, fairly
popular which is why we focus so hard on them
Here at NewsBusters and study them and make and try
to do these studies and try to cover them every
day because They are they're part OF The abc, news

(52:24):
umbrella and this type of bias is not becoming of.
A newsroom they try to call themselves like the editorial
side of, a newspaper but even editorials have like, editorial
standards they still have to not say the, craziest things
and they do get people of, different opinions just not on.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
The, view okay when did it get this bad as
far as not offering up any opposing viewpoints on? The
view is is it always been? This bad or is
it is it just got worse? Over time it really.

Speaker 31 (52:56):
Is something that we've seen like this, past season because,
last season basically their twenty, seventh season they did have
some conservatives. On there they they ended the SEASON with
I Believe, johnson nunu who was actually The last republican
that they. Had on it was Like early august before
they went on their their summer hiatus two and he
was the only he was the last one they had

(53:17):
To defend Republicans, defend trump and then, BEFORE that i
believe it Was like september of twenty three where.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
They Had A.

Speaker 31 (53:25):
Nancy mason so basically there are these rare instances that
they'll have somebody on and there have Been some republicans
like people like the account is really about the types
of narratives that they allowed to get pushed and of,
those guests it's one hundred and two guests that politics
came up and was discussed that they allowed to have
this type of discussion because they Did Have kelsey, grammar

(53:48):
on a actor With some, republican ties but they only
talked with him about a book he was discussed that
he was there to pitch with that was about, his
sister her untimely passing and. Her life so it was
like this a topic that was, In politics and basically
the study is really showing like what type of political

(54:09):
discussions and.

Speaker 33 (54:10):
Who they have.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Them with, you know You're Describing kelsey grammar conversation and
that is editorializing, by omission and all the major network
newsrooms are guilty of. Doing That the big three are
constantly guilty of. Doing it none of the three major
broadcast networks did a report on that heinous Brawl. IN
cincinnati i doubt if any of them are covering what's
going on With the russian hoax, right now because if that,

(54:35):
investigation continues we could very well see a former president
Of The united states and a former presidential candidate being
dieted on charges By the Department.

Speaker 3 (54:42):
Of justice but they're not going to report. On, that.

Speaker 29 (54:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 31 (54:46):
Absolutely not With the, cincinnati brawl basically none of the
flagship NewsCap morning and evening NEWSCASTS, THOUGH cbs NBC, and cbs.

Speaker 18 (54:56):
None of them.

Speaker 31 (54:56):
Covered IT, with nbc they basically tried to say that
they covered it and sort of give themselves like a
little check mark on the box because they covered IT
In Cbs, early today which is their show that runs
like after midnight and in the very very early morning
when nobody's really up and in that on the first,
day after Like the monday after the, weekend brawl they

(55:17):
did nineteen seconds, on it and then The following tuesday
they had a two minute and twenty five second report
that they re aired a few times on their. Streaming
network and their streaming network is not that not that widely,
watched either so. They do at LEAST, with nbc they're
doing like just enough to just sort of check the
box off of like we put up reports, about it

(55:39):
but they're not showing them in any of their flagship
newscasts that have like the.

Speaker 3 (55:43):
Big.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
Ratings yeah i've talked about this, so much almost making,
Myself SICK but i need to ask you about this
one last question, As. Well nicholas then, that is, you
know at what point in time did the network say, to,
themselves well we have, no ratings we've, lost advertisers we're.
HAVING money cnn seems to have finally gotten to that
point where they feel like they have to do something.

(56:04):
About it WHEN, DOES abc CBS and nbc decide they
have to do something about it or is it never going.

Speaker 3 (56:09):
TO happen.

Speaker 31 (56:11):
I feel, like they're at LEAST, with abc they realized
that something needs, to change because just a few weeks
ago we had Them Fire terry moran for some of
the wild statements he was saying as a journalist, For
THEM and i feel like at some point stuff like
this is going to Like That terry moran standard that
they've set is going to have to get applied further
down the line with, other people Maybe the view and

(56:32):
Maybe it maybe they'll Keep the view around because it
does get the ratings. For them but perhaps it's like
we're going to start swapping out cast members when they're
With The terry, Moran incident basically his contract, was up
so they didn't want to. Renew it so perhaps when
contracts come up for some of the, view stars we'll
get some of them dropping.

Speaker 3 (56:50):
As well, All, right nicholas thanks for. Your time.

at four. Point two percent we had job growth last
month annualized. About three percent inflation has not. Spiked point

(01:22:34):
three you've got to put. THIS in perspective I wouldn't
trade america's economy for the economy of, any other Country,
certainly Not, europe not China.

Speaker 1 (01:22:47):
Certainly not canada.

Speaker 34 (01:22:49):
Put things in perspective a year, and a half, two
years ago we had. Nine percent inflation. Now we're, down
you know depending on whose, number you numbers you believe
two and a half. TO three percent i thought that
to get inflation down from nine to two to three
we would see we'd have to see.

Speaker 2 (01:24:57):
So i think it was Constitutional Law, attorney jonathan turley
who Said that the democrats pulled the greatest political con
job in History with, a russian hoax but now it,
is finally unraveling joining us to. Talk About it Attorney.
DUNE and biles i don't know how much the mainstream
media is reporting. ON the story i doubt if they're

(01:25:17):
reporting out it.

Speaker 3 (01:25:18):
Hardly.

Speaker 2 (01:25:18):
At, All dunham so i'm sure there Are plenty of
americans who. Have no idea unless you are tuned into
the news or tuned into a, conservative talk station probably
have no idea what the world. We're talking about but
at the end, of, the day here it's pretty clear
who's Responsible for. The russian Hoax You've Got hillary rodham clinton.
Who approved It You've got george Soros and other democrats who,

(01:25:39):
paid for it and YOU'VE got the fbi who's complicit.
In it all there should be charges almost a, media on? This,
shouldn't there oh.

Speaker 14 (01:25:47):
There should be there has to, be a reckoning and
they are certainly, investigating potential charges Including, lying to congress
and hopefully we will see some actions, sooner than later,
because to me this is the greatest threat and scandal.
To our Republic it makes watergate look like the two

(01:26:07):
bit break in.

Speaker 2 (01:26:08):
That, IT was yeah i think Maybe the has i'm
sure there's always going to be hesitation in charging somebody
as far up the Food Change as hillary clinton or
maybe Even President Former. PRESIDENT barack, obama i mean if
he also knew about this and signed off on it
at the end of tail end, of his administration then
he could be complicit in.

Speaker 11 (01:26:29):
This.

Speaker 14 (01:26:29):
As well well in The Case, of president obama he almost,
certainly has immunity Just As a supreme Court. Said of
trump so that's probably not. Going to happen but for
others we. May, see chargers.

Speaker 3 (01:26:44):
Okay what kind of charges do you think? Could? Be brought?

Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
Right right now we have a.

Speaker 14 (01:26:50):
Couple, of problems one we have a, statue of limitations
given how far. THIS goes, back i mean let's not
forget they Started this before trump. Even took office he's
simply been elected. At That point UH and so i
think on The line to congress' is a five year.
Statute of limitations so some of these folks have made
statements in twenty, twenty and beyond and so they're they're certainly.

(01:27:12):
Looking at that, other than that it's not clear what
other charges they may may.

Speaker 18 (01:27:16):
Be, looking at okay.

Speaker 3 (01:27:18):
Is there a statute of? Limitations? On, Treason.

Speaker 14 (01:27:21):
Uh no but but the treason Treason under the constitution
would require aiding and. The betting enemies uh and and
at the, time of WAR and so i don't think
we're going to see any.

Speaker 2 (01:27:33):
Treats, In charges okay are there any other the charges
that could. Potentially be brought they do not have a,
statue of Limitations.

Speaker 14 (01:27:40):
Not that i'm aware of, at this TIME but but
i assume there there there. May have been right when you,
get into governments there are all sorts of regulations about
how they conduct themselves, and so FORTH and so, i
don't know but there could be an abuse of of
their authority and their internal regulations and perhaps a use.

Speaker 18 (01:28:00):
Of, government, funds.

Speaker 2 (01:28:01):
Okay well it sounds like the best we could probably
hope for is. A, STERN lecture.

Speaker 14 (01:28:06):
Well, i think, fortunately you know the DIRECTOR, Of The,
cia john ratcliffe is my Former, Mayor, in heath texas and,
my FORMER congressman and i know.

Speaker 18 (01:28:18):
Him a, BIT and uh i think no.

Speaker 14 (01:28:20):
One has a Stronger character AND kender and i assume
He and the president and others are are bound and
determined to get to the to the. Bottom of This
And as justice, brandeis once said sunlight is, the best
disinfectant and we need. Very strong disinfectant things. NEED to
change i think That's what's gonna that's what this is.

(01:28:41):
Going To require president trump came into office wanting to
drain the swamp, the first time and this requires a
RECKONING at the CIA and the fbi and a change
IN culture that i hope is.

Speaker 2 (01:28:53):
Being, brought to well it requires what really requires is
the complete dismantling of. The deep state one of the
most difficult possible things you could ever. Hope, to do
yes that's exactly.

Speaker 14 (01:29:04):
What it requires and, it's nearly impossible right because those
people we get, to elect people they come, in and
out but the deep state stays there for decades, at
a time and they.

Speaker 18 (01:29:16):
Are in trench and that's that's that's part. Of the problem.

Speaker 14 (01:29:19):
They, see themselves unfortunately it's more, important than us poor
plebeian to. Get to vote and that's what's, disturbing about
this right is that Whether It's then president Obama or
The secretary Of State or director comy and others seemingly
thought that they knew better who should be president than the,
people who voted and they set forth and it would

(01:29:39):
appear on a path to try to impact the president
before he ever got into.

Speaker 3 (01:29:44):
Office and destroy his presidency because they thought.

Speaker 2 (01:37:44):
You're reliable forecast next on the ten ON. Seven forty
ktrh that's the number one thing, that burns energy especially
at this time. Of the year seven thirty seven is
our Time Here In. HOUSTON'S warning news i had the
nine devices that most of us have that are using up.
The most electricity number, one air conditioning heating and cooling

(01:38:08):
responsible for just over half of home and average. Homes
energy usage and, you could say if you wanted to
move the thermostat up one degree would save you three.
Percent per month you can do the math. On that
one so if you're currently have it set, at seventy
two move it, to seventy three and your four hundred

(01:38:30):
dollars electric bill would be. Three percent less how, much,
is that like less than ten bucks, Something LIKE that
so i guess it depends on how important that. Is
to you number two those who do not have a gas.
HOT water heater i know hot water heater is not
the right, thing to say but we. All say it
so your. Your water heater long hot. Showers add up

(01:38:54):
the water heater uses up to eighteen percent of your.
Home's energy usage, in my case it just adds to
the ass bill more than it does. The electric bill,
Number three, lighting of course you can save MONEY by,
using LED lights, which i hate but you can save money.
By doing that and here's. The biggest thing turn off

(01:39:14):
lights and rooms. You're NOT using, It's i mean i'm
Constant constantly following elizabeth around, the house, going you know
turn off lights if she goes from. Room to room
she just she has no concept of, of you know
of not needing to put lights on in an unlit
room when you're not going to. Be in there number. Four,
the refrigerator. Yep your refrigerator it runs twenty four, hours

(01:39:40):
a day seven, days a week three hundred and sixty five,
days a year uses about seven percent of. Your home's
energy same. Kind of thing you can adjust the temperature up.
A little bit it'll save.

Speaker 3 (01:39:48):
You some money.

Speaker 2 (01:39:48):
Washer, and dryer boy you don't realize until you if
you have a. Whole house generator that's the one thing
that your whole house generator might not be able to
handle is your Washer and dry it really sucks. Up
the energy electric. Government came in. Number six, DISHWASHER number seven,
tv and media especially if you are one of those
people WHO leaves the tv on for the dog while

(01:40:10):
you're not. In the house, number nine computers that's. The,
top nine unfortunately those ARE all, things i NEED all
things i use in ALL things that i probably won't
change my habits for seven forty time for traffic and.
Weather TOGETHER thousand what dj system that'll? Burn up, Energy,
Skuy mine.

Speaker 45 (01:40:28):
Well i've got all. My lighting up you know. THE
master bedroom i don't. Sleep in it it's. REALLY a
disco i keep all my. Lights and everything let's do.
Two ninety inbound we're just a little, two ninety up
no more than just. A little senate that's. The right,
line everybody's okay we're just. Pointing at stuff got Backups now.
From highway six you lose about twelve minutes. On two
ninety you still don't want to jump on. Him stead

(01:40:48):

this beautiful program this noble effort, to help folks giving them.

Speaker 4 (01:42:35):
A hand up and as.

Speaker 47 (01:42:36):
You Probably gather if medicaid isn't able to take care
of the people for whom, it was designed, the young
children the dawn, of their left those are the twilight,
of their left to seniors and those who are disabled living.

Speaker 18 (01:42:45):
In THE.

Speaker 47 (01:42:46):
Shadows As a, hubert humphrey said then we're not satisfying
the fundamental obligation of. A moral government and this president
has said over and over that he believes that it
is the wise thing and the noble thing to help those,
who are vulnerable and every great.

Speaker 3 (01:43:00):
Society does that we're going. To as well so we're
going to.

Speaker 47 (01:43:02):
Invest in medici, as it's required but we want an
appropriate return. On that investment one thing that medicaid patients
should not face are drug prices.

Speaker 1 (01:43:09):
They can't afford then how do, You, enforce.

Speaker 47 (01:43:11):
This well the pharmaceutical companies if you sit, Them, down
quietly margaret and we've done that and say you went
into this business at some point because you.

Speaker 1 (01:43:18):
CARED about people i.

Speaker 47 (01:43:19):
Know there's many out there, shaking their heads but that is.
Actually the truth people, go into healthcare whether the pharmaceutical
companies are insurance companies or the PBMs or anybody in
the SPACE. Evident the cm that's the most impressive thing
to me in my new Task and the president's appointed
me to is remarkable quality that people within the organization.
Just unbelievably talented they went into this job because they,
care about. Healthcare about people somewhere, along the lines people

(01:43:42):
forget they put numbers, ahead of patients and, when that
happens then you start. Running the problem so we went
to the pharmaceutical companies, and we said you appreciate this
is not. A fair system we should not be Paying
more in america three times more for your products than You.
Charge in europe they. Get the joke they understand the reality.
Of this problem they are. Engaging with us we're in
the middle. Of Those negotiations the president has a unique.

(01:44:02):
Power to convene we've done it with dealing, with prior
authorization this heinous process where patients feel like they're trying
to get care. From a doctor, everything's being done except all,
of a sudden the arm of insurance comes in and
stops the whole process for unknown, reasons for. Weeks sometimes
months the insurance companies representing eighty Percent of the american
public got together, and they said because, we pushed them

(01:44:23):
we're going to. Deal with this we can, DO the
same i believe with the pharmaceutical industry with.

The call of the house yesterday is proof Positive that
the leadership republicans So Called of the texas house is
completely and fully Complicit in what. The democrats are doing
because when we Had, a core on wednesday the doors
could have been locked and we could have maintained korum until.

(01:48:21):
