Speaker 1 (00:00):
So this is one of my favorite stories so far
in the fight to reclaim sovereignty and security and our borders.
President Trump reversing, i mean literally repurposing the CBP one
app to help get people out of the country who
shouldn't be here. Joining us now to analyze and react
as Art Arthur, former revation judge judge, good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Thanks, thanks so much for having me this mon bub.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Yeah, it's good to have you, especially when we have
good news like this, all kinds of great news. We've
got ice running around getting really dangerous people off of
the streets and getting them ready for deportation. And now
President Trump pushing self beat the deportation. What can you
tell us about you think the impact will be of
this reverse engineering if you will, of CBP one.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yeah, So you know, Donald Trump, you know, is taking
the CBP one app that Joe Biden used to funnel
in five hundred and twenty thousand people per year through
the ports of entry, and he's reverse engineering is you know,
apt in this way in more than you know one
(01:00):
for one on one reason, because you know he's almost
taking it and multiplying it by negative one and algebraic
terms and turn it into a function that will allow
the United States to gain control of its sovereignty again
by encouraging people who are here illegally to leave voluntarily
(01:22):
and to confirm their departure from the United States using
the app. This is, you know, a huge problem. The
Center estimates that there anywhere between about fifteen point five
and sixteen million people in the United States here illegally.
I know some estimates are higher than that, but it
costs about seven thousand dollars per person to you know,
(01:43):
actually go through the entire process from arrest of prosecution
to physical deportation and detention from the United States. So
if we can encourage people to leave voluntarily, we're going
to save a lot of money, and we're going to
make it a whole lot easier for ICE reserved its resources. So,
you know, those high profile people who don't want to leave,
(02:04):
the criminals and you know, those who threaten our national security,
they could focus on those individuals while other individuals are
left to leave the United States and you know, potentially
come back legally regularize their status. But that's really what
we want to do. We want people to go by themselves.
We don't want to have to pick them up, spend
all the money and give her and you know, send
(02:25):
them home.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, that's a great point, judge. Is there an incentive
here for the illegals who are who are you know,
being targeted with the CBP Home Act now, something that says,
if you do this the right way and you leave voluntarily,
we may let you get back in line to come
into the country legally next time. And if you don't
do it, that's it. You're forever gone.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Well, that is the promise, and DHS Secretary Christy Do
when she wrote all this out, didn' naturally mention, you know,
anything like that. But if you are here legally, for
nder Need, Jason more, you have to be gone for
three years. If you're here for more than a year,
you have to be gone for ten before you can
come back legally. It's possible that the White House could
(03:09):
make some accommodation for those individuals so that they could
come back at some point. But I think the bigger
thing here is Bob, that it's going to allow individuals
to leave the United States on their own terms without
being you know, physically arrested by eyes, detained, going through
the core process, and then removed from the United States.
(03:30):
This way, you could you know, take you know, if
you have anything in the United States you want to sell,
if you can sell it, get the money, get on
a plane, go back home and start your new life there,
and potentially, at some point in the future return to
the United States and you know, become a contributing member
to the society, not live in the shadows.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, and that makes perfect sense to everybody does move,
whether you're moving from one state to another or whatever.
You know, you'd like to be able to do it
in an orderly fashion. And this gives them a chance
to get their better affaars all in order and then,
like you said, potentially get back in line again if
you are willing to cooperate this time and not make
us use our precious resources they could be using for
the It could be used for the criminals to deal
(04:10):
with all of these people. So hopefully this is something
hundreds of thousands I think you said per year came
in on the app. Hopefully hundreds of thousands of them
go out on the new CBP home app. That would
make it ideal. Art Arthur, former IMMG Immigration judge, thank
you for the insights, sir. We appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Thanks so much for having me, Bough
