Texas House lawmakers wrapped up a marathon a week of
voting with a midnight deadline that killed off hundreds of
bills After hours of rapid fire decision, Only about half
of Thursday's four hundred items survived. Among the bills that
did advance a requirement to install AC and state prisons

by the year twenty thirty two, at a measure expanding
limits on cashless mail. The focus now shifts to major
Senate bills, with just days left to keep them moving
before the session ends. A heavyweight battles shaping up in
next year's Texas Senate primary as Attorney General Kin Paxton
faces four term incumbent John Cornyan the GOP nomination. SMU

political science professor Cal Jilson says the battle lines are
already drawn.

Will divide the Republican Party ideologically, with the MAGA wing
most likely going with Paxton, the more traditional wing going
with Senator Cornan.

Cornan's campaign has already launched a website called Crooked Ken
attacking Paxton. Early polling shows that Paxton is the lead
over Cornyn. The Supreme Court's heard arguments yesterday over President
Trump's executive order banning birthright citizenship. US attorney John Eastman
says in eighteen ninety eight Supreme Court ruling referenced by
Justice Sonya Soto Mayor, suggesting birthright citizenship can be applied

to those children is unrelated to the case.

This is a question that the Supreme Court has never
addressed in a holding, never not in Wan kim Ark.
That case dealt explicitly with the children born and of
lawfully and permanently domiciled parents.

The Supreme Court could issue the ruling on the case
by the end of June, as Scotis prepares to rule
on the birthright citizenship injunctions. Even if the President gets
a win law fair on end, but these injunctions under
the Administrative Procedure Act might stop.

The problem with these other nationwide injunctions. Is it really
that the injunctions are nationwide. It's the problem that there's
no case.

Margot Cleveland of the Federalists says it's going to take time.

But the longer they wait to rule, the worse it gets,
and the.

More it causes Americans to hold the entire judicial system
in disregard. It's a bad loook for the Supreme Court
that they've been letting this go on for so long.

A ruling on the issues expected by the end of June.

President Trump met with business leaders and Cutter before traveling
to the United Arab Emirates yesterday.

The president's day focused heavily on fence partnerships and the
latest warning to Iran. President Trump confirmed that DC and
Tehran are inching towards a nuclear deal, so he's optimistic
the worst case scenario can be avoided. For the first
time in months. The President is also revisiting plans for
a US takeover of Gaza. Piece in Ukraine remains elusive.

Putin Blue off Zelenski for peace talks in Turkey, but
the President is teasing a possible pit stop there.

And that was Fox's Peter Doocey in Abu Dhabi, Secretary
of State Marco Rubio suggesting a meeting between President Trump
and President Putin is the only way to move forward
with peace talks. Rubio's comments come after the anticipated meeting
with Russia and Ukraine officials in Turkey was downgraded. Vice
President jd Vance will lead the US delegation to Pope

Leo the fourteenth inauguration on Sunday and Saint Peter Square.
Delegation will also include Secretary of State Marco Rubio. A
Trump administration is reportedly planning to stop recommending routine COVID
shots for children and pregnant women. Port and the Wall
Street Journals is The Department of Health and Human Services
is expected to remove the CDC recommendations when it launches

new guidelines for approving vaccines. Ktr h's news time is
now five five. A new group has been formed to
advocate for the victims of violent crimes both in Texas.
Texas Crime Victims United says that they're pushing for bail
reform and remove the soft on crime judges.

We're going to educate our community about some specific judges.
Let people know what is the ruling history for these
judges in terms of providing personal or cognizance bonds to
people who are biling offenders.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
That's Paul Castro, president of the TCVU. He says the
organization is also focused on pushing for bail reform in
Texas and thinks the effort to tamp down on violent
crime should be nonpartisan. Residents of Galveston County are once
again beginning to get nervous as the infamous Galveston Jeep
Weekend takes place starting today on Bolivar Peninsula's Crystal Beach.

The event has earned a reputation as a magnet for
crime and violence.

There's been one killing and a couple of shootings last year.
One of the shooters is a straight over from here.

That man, speaking with our TV partner Channel two, another
said he supports the heightened police presence on the beach.

I'm all for they need to do something, you know,
shut down the crime and violence it to have going
down here. That's not normal for society.

Some residents have offered up their homes for law enforcement

He may be at the critical stage. Well, he is

He took a picture on the beach, and on the

But as somebody who is married to a Sicilian, I
know the term eighty six to mean to get rid of, eliminate,

kill somebody, make them go away, make them disappear. It
can cover any of those things. But in the world
of the mobstered eighty six, somebody is to kill them.
So what's forty seven Trump? He DEnumber forty seven, he's
forty five and forty seven. Of course, now he's forty seven,

So eighty six forty seven. You put that together. That
seems to mean that James call Me, the former FBI director,
is calling for the elimination of President Trump. Now by elimination,
does he mean it in the context of restaurants and bars.
I guess it's a term that's popular in restaurants and bars.

Refusing to serve somebody is in eighty six, evidently, But
again in the world, in the world of the underworld,
the world of crime, which James call Me is very
familiar with as a former FBI director, eighty six means
to kill somebody. So, did the FBI director just actually
threaten the life of President Trump or suggest to others

who would threaten the life to President Trump that he
supports them in their effort. Really stupid thing. I mean,
if he didn't mean that exactly, it's a pretty stupid
either way. It's a pretty stupid thing to post with
the former FBI director. Right, Yeah, he's going to be investigated.
This Department of Justice will investigate him, and they should

do the fullest extent of the law.

if nothing else, readers of my column learned the following.
About three years ago, Joe Biden decided unilaterally without Congress,
to spend effectively four hundred million dollars by forgiving four
billion dollars worth of student loans. This was before when

he started this and before the Supreme Court swallowed him down.
He calls some students into the Oval office to celebrate
this great achievement. To them, he said, I barely got
it passed by just a few votes. There were no votes,
nothing was passed. It was a unilateral action, which raises
the question did he know what was going on in

the White House at that time?

My guess is no. He might have been told by
his wife or his aides that had been a congressional vote.
He might have actually thought that.

But that does I tell you how out of touch
he really was. He wasn't running anything. This is going
to go down at some point in history. This will
go down as one of the biggest, if not the
biggest presidential scandals in history. A four year term by
guy who was incapable of being President of the United States,

and in the government that was a shadow government that
was being run by I guess department heads and certain
key members at the White House. Five twenty six. Time

President Donald Trump concludes his Middle East trip with a
final stop in the UAE.

The President touring the Abrahamic House course, home to a
church synagogue in Mosque. The President sitting here meeting with
the president of the Knight Arab Emirates, getting ready to
wrap up the trip.

Billion dollars pledged from the Saudis, from the Crown Prince,
the Katari's kicking in another one point two trillion dollars,
of course, the largest deal in Boeing's history. The Katari's
wanting hundreds of aircraft. And here in the Night Arab Emirates,
not only are there more than two hundred billion dollars
in secured investment in the United States, which means jobs
back home, but also they're pledging one point four trillion

over the next decade.

And that was Fox's Lucas Tomlinson from Abu Dhabi. During
his trip, President Trump made it a point to Middle
East nations that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon averty
Special Envoy to the Middle East, Morgan Ortigas on Fox
News says that the President has been clear on that stance.

You know, President Trump, if you've been listening to him
for these past ten years that he's been in public life,
he always wants to resolve things peacefully.

The State Department is calling talks between the US and
Ron constructive. Iron's foreign minister says that their right to
enrich uranium is a red line in nuclear talks and
will not be something they conceive. Trump administration recently canceled
four hundred and fifty million dollars in grants for Harvard
University as part of its effort to combat anti Semitism
on college campuses. Education Secretary Linda McMahon says that Harvard

has failed to change its practices.

We have gone in to investigate. We wanted to sit
down with President Garber. I spoke with him. We were
going to sit down and discuss these things. And we
had sent a letter a sort of enumerating some of
the things and ask him to come to the table.
And his answer was a lawsuit.

Trump administration has also cut more than two billion dollars
in grants to Harvard Institution. Since the administration is withholding
federal money is leverage for control of academic decision making.
The Supreme Court hearing arguments on President Trump's executive order
yesterday banning birthright citizenship. US attorney Johnny Eastman says, in
eighteen ninety eight Supreme Court ruling, references by Justice Sonya

Soto Mayor suggesting birthright citizenship can be applied to those
children is unrelated to this case.

Department of Homeland Security and specifically Sean Kerran, the current
Secret Service Director, a man who has been willing to
lay down his life as the lead of President Trump's
Secret Service detail for years now. He takes this seriously
and is leading the investigation into this threat.

He took the post down following the backlash and said
that he assumed the message was political but didn't realize
it was violent. He had described the numbers in his
post as cool shell formation. Texas House hit a major
deadline last night, killing off around two hundred bills after
a frenzy day of voting. Proposals that did not make
it included a GOP backed anti squatters bill and a

toxic chemical ban juvenile justice reform, while some conservative priorities
passed hardliners, saying that leadership let too many key bills
die well. Texas could make it easier for parents to
claim vaccine exemptions for their kids.

The Texas House has passed a bill that makes vaccine
exemption forms available online instead of having to be requested
