Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, six twenty two and as noted before the traffic,
the far left newspapers are reporting massive, well I'm massive,
but some decent numbers of illegal aliens deported or self deporting,
and they are painting it is a bad thing. Bob Price,
editor at brepe part News, might see this a little
bit differently, Bob, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Of course they're good morning, Bob. Of course they're seeing
it as a bad thing. You know, it's illegal aliens
being forced out of the United States. They don't like that.
They wanted them here, so well, you.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Know, the beauty of the self deportations apologies there, Bob.
You know, the beauty of the self deportations is they're
not being forced, they're being encouraged and they're being incentivized, which,
of course is the best way to do it, given
the fact that you know, when you have to round
them up and actually physically deport them, they're assaulting ice
officers at extraordinary rates.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah, when you know they're offering one thousand dollars plus
free airfare and even some of the other countries receiving
the migrants back or giving them bonuses and support and
food and shelter and all that kind of stuff when
they get home. But the biggest thing about the self
deportation is if they leave on their own through the
CBP home app that was advertised just a few minutes

(01:11):
ago on your program. If they self deport then they're
eligible to apply to return to the United States, whereas
if they wait until they're caught and kicked out, then
they're marked is not eligible to return for at least
ten years. But you know, I think the administration is
currently saying it's a permanent band, so you know, there's

(01:33):
a lot of reasons to do it, and nearly a
million illegal aliens have taken advantage of this and left
the country. Not only is it helping, it's increasing wages
for American workers, but most importantly, the new jobs that
have been created since Trump took office or going to
American citizens now, Whereas during the Biden administration, nearly one

(01:56):
and seven jobs for everyone job gained by the American
seven point three jobs went to illegal aliens.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
That's such an important point too, and not to mention
the other part of that job story is that most
of the jobs created by the Biden administration were make
work jobs, government jobs in which nobody really got any
benefit from that. It certainly didn't benefit industry or manufacturing.
They were all phony jobs. But you're right, and this
is extraordinarily important. Now here's the question. President Trump has said,
in deference to our farmers in particular, he may be

(02:28):
willing to grant some sort of a waiver to allow
legal aliens who are working in agriculture to stay. What
are your thoughts on that, Bob.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Well, here's the fix on that. Congress needs to get
off its backside, do its job and create a guest
worker program so that migrants can come here legally. They
can be vetted before they come here. We can make
sure they're not gang members and criminals and sex offenders
and all these kinds of things that we're finding all
across the country. They can come here legally, they can work,

(02:56):
and they can take their money and go back home.
You know. That's that was the way we had things
in the past until the unions kind of throw a
fit and they got rid of their guest worker program.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
So if there is, you know, a rise in the
number of illegals who are leaving in some of those
service jobs, talking about you know, the hotel workers, talking
about the farm workers, talking about you know some of
the other things that quote unquote Americans don't really want
to do unless there is a significant spike in wages
for this, will we have enough people to fill those jobs.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Well, there was a meat packing plant that was raided
and a bunch of illegal immigrants were arrested and taken out,
and the next day dozens of Americans showed up to
fill all those jobs. So, you know, they might have
to pay a little bit more for them, and we
might have to pay a little bit more at the
retail outlet to cover those increased wages. But Americans will

(03:55):
work if you pay fair wage. The reason these companies
want the illegal aliens in these jobs is because they
take advantage of them. They pay them substandard wages, they
don't pay them over time when they get it, they
don't give them workmen's compensation, all of these kinds of things,
and that gives them an unfair business advantage over companies

(04:15):
that do things right. But more importantly, it displaces jobs
and suppresses wages. It increases the cost of low income
housing and the availability of low income housing. It increases
pressure on schools and things like that. So it's a
net gain for the United States that these people are leaving.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
One hundred percent agree, and I think most Americans would
be willing to pay a little bit more for their
products and their services if they know they're being done
by Americans and by people who are here legally and
able to work, rather than people who are taking advantage
of our previous administration. Bob Price, editor at Brave Bart News, Bob,
great information. Thank you so much, sir.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Thank you, Bob. Talk to you, Sy
