Speaker 1 (00:00):
Six twenty two is our time here in Houston's boarding News.
Right Democrats perceived as woke, week, out of touch and
are losing continue to lose support with white men, Hispanic men,
and working class voters across the board. In fact, I
would I would say, and I've heard this observation from
a lot of political pundits that the Republicans have become
(00:20):
the party of the working man, a complete flip and
in who the constituents are for each political party. Join
us to talk about is Texas State Representative Briscoe Caine.
Clearly the Democrats have a problem, brisco and they're not
doing anything about it.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
They do have a problemence fascinating in the polling shows
just the working class, which right is the group listening
right now. Those are probably going to work this morning.
But they're losing Hispanic men and of course the losing
white men, and look, Democrats are learning the hard way
that open borders don't win hearts or even elections. They're
(01:02):
two woke. But when you say the word week, if
you look at a polling, it's saying they have week leaders,
I think everybody's pubbing ano their head right now, thoughing yep,
when we compare the Republican Party of the Democrat Party.
They cash off this week.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, even President Obama called out the rest of his
fellow Democrats. He's given them the Dad lecture.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, yeah, it's kind of embarrassing. Look, I think they're
finding out that just playing identity politics, conservatives are wing
at the kitchen table. The Democrats platform right now, just
again seems to be woke DEI and people are concerned
about their next meal, paying the bills and those kind
(01:44):
of things. They just trumped the shark.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Do you think it's the same way in Texas? You know,
I think Texas Democrats, at least for a long long time,
they were certainly less woke and less weak. They were.
I'm thinking of Mayor John Whitmyer, for example, which I
would consider to be more of a mainstream Democrat or
an old school Democrats. We still have old school Democrats
in Texas? Or are they becoming woke and weak? Ear
as well?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
You may have named the one of the very few exceptions.
There might be one or two more. There's a guy
named Richard Raymond that live that's that I know in Austin.
He represents, you know, from the areas and god, I
can't think where he represents the valley area. But that's
about it. There's one or two left in Texas. Other
(02:28):
than that, the rest of them all just pretend to
try not to be woken out or win elections. That
party has been taken over by the progressive left. They
are who they are. That's why people have fleeing that plantation.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Okay, so if nothing changes, what do you think happens
in the midterm elections? Due will it be? You know,
because historically, speaking of course, whichever president is in power,
whichever party is in power, has losses in the midterm elections.
That's normally what happens. I take it you don't think
that's going to happen this time.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Well, sure, Look, I think that's why Democrats are panicking
about this pulling. Normally, they're relying on the old idea
of the adage that things are going to flip during
the mid terms. Right now, they're panicking because they may
be losing that opportunity as well, because people are just
sick and tired of their policies that have nothing to
do with the real world.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Good boy, all right, sir, Thanks as always, appreciate your time.
