now for the news. Here's the Cliff Saunders.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Thank you, Jimmy, and good morning every body. Five oh
one on KTRH. Now our top story, we are learning
more about the man who allegedly shot in wounded to
Harris County Preseink one Deputy Hospital downtown.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
He has multiple prior felony convictions. Why is that important
because he should have never had a gun whatsoever.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
In fact, he had two firearms.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
That's Gage Golden with our TV partner channel too. He
also reports that the shooter was out on bond for
a trespass arrest last week. Meantime, Deputy Sheila Jones continues
to recover.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
She is the consummate hero she saw a situation that
could have been catastrophic.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
DA Shawn tier Jones is a thirty year veteran of
law enforcement and also an Army event more violent crime. Overnight,
a man shot in the chest in a possible road
rage case off the Sam Houston Parkway. That man is
expected to survive. The shooter is in custody. After yet
another after hours club shooting on Easter Sunday, more questions
(02:35):
are being asked about the city's so called crackdown on
these establishments.
Speaker 7 (02:39):
Creking down on these clubs has been slow going, but
city council is working on it.
Speaker 8 (02:43):
The bottom line is enough is enough. City Council had
previously passed ordinances to give HPD tools, but we need
to see much more aggressive action.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
That's council Woman Abbie Cayman.
Speaker 7 (02:53):
She encourages anyone aware of these clubs to report them
to law enforcement.
Speaker 8 (02:57):
We need the community's help, but once we know about
these pop ups, once HPD is alerted, there needs to
be aggressive and immediate action.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Cayman says.
Speaker 7 (03:06):
It's also important for people to make sure they're in
safe environments and avoid these clubs. Ethan Buchanan News Radio
seven forty.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Ktr Thank you, Ethan. Today is the first day of
early voting in the May municipal elections. Now, while they
don't get as much attention as the national and state elections,
these are some of the positions that actually matter most.
Speaker 9 (03:25):
Their city council, their school board races around the county.
We'll see another series in November two. They typically come
the off.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Years, Aris County GOP chairwoman Cindy Siegel. Early voting runs
through next Tuesday. Election day is May third, five h
three on KTRH. Another four congressional Democrats make the trip
to l Salvador to visit the illegal alien and accused
MS thirteen gang member Kilmar Obrego Garcia.
Speaker 10 (03:56):
I can't believe that these Democrats are lining up to
go down to a foreign country to visit a guy
who was here illegally, a criminal and MS thirteen member
who beat his wife.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Missouri Senator Eric Schmidt. Now, among those four include Florida's
Maxwell Frost, who has close ties to aoc in, California's
Robert Garcia, who is a former illegal alien himself. Now,
you might be wondering why the Left continues to go
out of their way to support Abrego Garcia. Monica Showalter
(04:27):
with The American Thinker says Garcia has ties to the
sorrow syst and that's who they promote.
Speaker 11 (04:34):
So now they're pushing this person forward in a bit
to swing public opinion because they do have a strong
narrative organization. That's why you've seen so much media attention
just suddenly doing a feeding frenzy in his favor.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Garcia belonged to a group called Casa de Marylyn, which
has received funding from George and Alex Soros, also from
Mark Zuckerberg five ZHO five on KTRH. The left also
believes and continues to cry for the release of anti
I submitted protester Mahmud Khalil, claiming he was using free speech,
but political writer Adam Johnson says that's subjective under the
(05:08):
Immigration and Nationality.
Speaker 12 (05:10):
Acts, which allows the Secretary of State to make exceptions
for various forms of speech if he deems that the
foreign national's presence is harmful to US policy. The case
being made is that the speech and the protests these
are also linked to anti American movements.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
He says this boils down to protecting American interest. Meantime,
Harvard sues the Trump administration in an effort to block
the government from freezing funding to the school. Arbig refused
to comply with the federal government's reforms when it comes
to battling anti semitism, and this should come as no surprise.
Democrats continue to go from bad to worse when it
(05:50):
comes to poll numbers. Just twenty five percent of Americans
have confidence in Democrat leadership in Congress, down nine points
from two years ago and the lowest level in more
than two decads. Fox News political analyst Dana Perino predicts
it may get even worse for the Dems.
Speaker 13 (06:05):
They have to really think about who are they going
to try to run and win with in twenty twenty eight.
If they don't, I think that they could be in
the wilderness for quite a while. AOC and Bernie, I
think they could probably draw a crowd pretty much anywhere
they go, But neither of them are going to be
president in twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 14 (06:19):
At the same time, some younger Democrats are threatening to
push out the party's old guard and move it even
further to the left. Corey Jolson, who's Radio seven forty
KTR eight, It's.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Now five oh six.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
The Vatican says a stroke was the cause of death
for Pope Francis, who was eighty eight years old when
he died yesterday. President Trump will attend the funeral on
Saturday more at five point thirty. Also, you heard it
here on k TRH last night.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
One News Radio seven TRH. You bad dog.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
You five oh seven is our time here in Houston's
morning news. I know that a lot of us think
those of USh are pet owners. We have pets, especially
if you have a dog, and listen, I get it.
I love my dog, love them to death, spoil them
rotten and you know what he does is probably an
offshoot of what I've done. As far as how I
(07:40):
interact with him, I blame myself if when he's when
he's not a particularly good dog. I mean, most of
the time he's a good dog. But he is he
a perfect dog? No, of course, not a lot of
people think that they have a perfect pet. You'd be
amazed how many people think their dog is perfect. Well,
just so you know, chances of that one percent. New
study for the more than ninety nine percent of dogs
(08:01):
in the US have behavior problems. This might make us
all feel better, like aggression, separation and attachment issues, fear
and anxiety, or pooping or peeing inside. Ninety nine point
one two percent of dogs do some of this stuff.
Mine is more of a fear and anxiety issue. Right now, man,
(08:26):
I wish he could talk. I'd love to know what's
going on that little peeber in his He is in
the habit of waking my wife up around nine or
ten o'clock.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, we go to bed really earlier at our house
for obvious reasons.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
He he'll like, he'll get up, he'll be at the
foot of the bed and then he'll he'll he'll start
kind of not jumping on her, but he'll he'll get
his weight in his front paws on her back, and
he'll start pushing on her back, you know, until she
gets up. He does not want to be in the
living room by himself. I don't know. He thinks he
(09:01):
senses something out there, something This is nothing more than
playing dog psychiatrists at this point trying to figure it out.
But I can only figure that he must there's something
out there that's scaring him for whatever reason. So I'm
going to put that under fear and anxiety. He's also
very fearful of thunderstorms, so we always have a bad
night with thunderstorms. It don't need to get me talking
(09:21):
about fireworks. So here's the bottom line here. If you
are suffering with a dog with a behavioral problem, you
are far from alone. Study at Texas A and M
found over ninety nine percent of dogs have in the
US have behavior problems, and they studied a lot forty
three thousand dogs of very different breeds, ages, sizes, and locations.
Dogs are analyzed on the basis of stuff like aggression, separation,
(09:44):
separation and attachment issues, fear and anxiety, pooping or peeing
in the end, only one percent have the perfect dog
that doesn't do any of those things. Number one where
the separation and attachment behaviors that was most common, including restlessness,
pa seeing, following people around the house, sitting close to them,
trying to escape, or barking and chewing items when left alone.
(10:07):
Aggression came in number two with growling, snapping, and biting.
Minor behavior problems that seem relatively harmless, but experts it's
important with you to work with your vet to try
to figure out what's going on here, might be going
on in the dog's mind, and recognize when special care
is required. The aggression is only the aggression is a
problem because you know if you're if your dog is
(10:28):
getting around other people and other animals, you know that
they can lead to problems the other stuff. I guess
we all figure out how to deal with it right.
Five ten Time for traffic and mothers together, special and
all the.

Three am.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Now, I like motorcycles. In fact, I love motorcycles. I
want one, just down to three am. Yeah, and this
guy doesn't have a job. Well, most people in the
ghetto do not have jobs. Next to me, let's go
now to they have a dog, you know, probably a several.
Let's look on your ship channel bridges and you got

Speaker 3 (11:14):

Beltway eight toll bridge rocks along both ways from north
Shore to Deer Park. And a six ten let's go
from the Butt Plant to Bloo southbound. We're in good
shape both ways on six ten. Roads are rocking along
right now. I'll have to yield some time here sky miket. Wait,
(11:36):

to mention one thing, Ghetto Dave, What up, dude?
Speaker 17 (11:40):

I can't do the foghorn. Terry's pollen has messed my voice.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
I'm in the USA Rvresorts dot Com traffic center.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I can only do dense for n fog is only

our KTRGE top tax Defenders twenty four. Our weather center
Terry is here. Yes, the pollen is it's getting to
the point of obnoxious. Just it won't go eaight. The
pollen counts very high. It'spin hot. Well, you know.
Speaker 18 (12:18):
All those trees and flowers and grasses are super happy,
so they're they're celebrating. Think of it as plant confetti.
So yes, well, hopefully some of this rain will wash
some of the pollen out, but it also might encourage
the plants to continue to grow. But we've got rain.
(12:39):
We're in and out of the rain through the rest
of the work week. Today and tomorrow. That's when you're
more likely to run into some wet weather. Today, those
showers and thunderstorms will basically hold off until the afternoon.

So, one of the last people in public that Pope
France has met with was JD. Vance, the Vice versad
of the United States, who got a relatively brief audience.
Evidently they had a frank discussion over immigration where they
don't see eye to eye. I learned something new. I
did not realize that JD. Vans is converted to Catholicism
(13:49):
in twenty nineteen. The other thing I'm surprised about I
really thought to hear seeing the pictures of Jdvan's meeting
with the Pope. I really expected somebody on the far
left to say JD. Vance killed the Pope. He met,
he met with a pupe, and now the Pope is dead.
I haven't heard that yet. I'm a little surprised. I
(14:11):
happened to be honest with you five ONNY Time for

Speaker 2 (16:00):
I'm not Catholic, but I think I have been to
the Vatican. I've been lucky enough to be of the Vatican. No,
not a behind the scenes store or any of that
kind of just normal tour at the Vatican. It's a
very impressive place to be and you can feel the
history certainly, and if you are Catholic and you had
the opportunity to meet the Pope and talk with him personally,
(16:21):
I'm sure that would be a great honor for most Catholics,
and Jadvans evidently converted to Cathalicism. Back in twenty nineteen,
he had an opportunity to meet with the Pope that
they talked, evidently had a rather frank immigration discussion. Here's
a little report from Box and how all that went down.
Speaker 20 (16:37):
You said that because, like we had just reported, the
Vice President Jady Vance met with Pope Francis yesterday and
the Vatican said after that meeting an exchange of opinions
took place concerning migrants, refugees and prisoners. And we can
all read between the lines as to what that means.
Political ideologies were different between Pope Francis and the Vice President.
(17:00):
Francis has been seen as a more progressive pope. So
what would you say to Christians who are conservative that
are struggling.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
With that in this moment.
Speaker 21 (17:09):
It's so good that we have somebody in the world
saying take care of the poor, take care of the immigrant,
take care of the prisoners, and just leaving it at
principles that are that's basically the gospel, right that the
attitudes are very you know, are very clear, you know,
blessed or the blessed or the humble blessed the simple, etcetera, etcetera.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Right blessed are those who mourn.
Speaker 21 (17:34):
And Pope Francis late laid out those principles and he
thought for those principles, but it's up to government officials,
including JD. Vance, including President Trump, to then make policy.
And that's very and that's very difficult. And the Catholic
Church allows for difference of opinions of what of how
(17:54):
to apply principles, eternal principles into policy and the and
so I'm glad that there was a freak exchange and
I'm glad that JD. Vance said what he thought. And
Jadavance became a Catholic not too long ago, in twenty nineteen,
he converted to Catholicism, and.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
So he has great respect for Pope Francis.
Speaker 21 (18:15):
Many people were saying, look, the Pope is dissing him
by not receiving him into audience. And it was actually
just yesterday during Easter Service that Pope Francis invited him
to have this meeting.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Pretty amazing, Yeah, pretty amazing. No doubt it'll be interesting
from a politics standpoint. This, I think this last pope
here was probably one of the most political popes we've had,
certainly in recent history, probably the most progressive pope we've
had in recent history. And I kind of wonder, you know,
(18:49):
as the world seems to be shifting back a little
bit more towards conservative, I wonder if the Catholic Church
will be doing the same thing. I guess we'll find
out right to the funeral that's done. They'll have the
conclave and they will pick whoever the next pope is
going to be, and we'll see if it's a Dei
type hire, if you will, where they go for, well,
(19:09):
maybe the first black pope. We've never had a black
pot before. Maybe they do that, or maybe they look
for somebody who's a little bit more conservative than Hope
Francis was to kind of move the church back towards
the middle a little bit. It'll be interesting to watch
five twenty six hour News radio seven forty KTRH. Time
to take a look at your money. Here's Jeff Bellinger

will be in Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis

for the People Conclave to replace Francis. Francis was criticized
(26:30):
for winging in on political issues like climate change, homosexuality
and immigration. So what do Catholics expect from the next pope.
Speaker 32 (26:38):
They want the pope to be in line with traditional,
long standing established views and doctrine. It bothers many Catholics
when they feel like the Pope says something that, you know,
sort of a curveball.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Jonathan signs with Texas Value, says Francis and the Vatican
were quick to correct statements that were seen as shifts
away from tradition. Several of the contenders to replace for
have been described as conservative.

All right, leave it to the progressive left to want
to make an issue out of the White House egg world?
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Did they?
Speaker 2 (28:16):
And I know I'm not talking about Chinese food. I'm
talking about the event that they have and the White
House for Easter, you know, the egg roll where they
have to invite kids by lottery to come in and
you know, they color eggs and do an egg roll
and all that kind of stuff. Here is the headline
from USA Today. How does the White House use thirty
(28:37):
thousand eggs for the Easter egg roll when there's a
bird flu egg crisis. Well, let's let's dispatch with this first. Well,
maybe I should share a little more of the story
from Betty Lynn Fisher. Wholesale egg prices have continued to drop,
as they have since mid March, but the steep decreases
(29:00):
have not yet fully been reflected at the grocery store.
The eggs used at the White House vent were donated
by farmers and are not in sizes normally meant for
retail in grocery channels, according to the American Egg Board.
Oh wait a minute, so they didn't even use eggs
that were going to be commercially available anyway. The thirty
thousand eggs came from farmers who donated the eggs, and
(29:24):
they were eggs that were too small or maybe too large,
you know, whatever the case may be. They're there eggs
that just wouldn't have been available for commercial purchase at
the grocery store. So they didn't take anything out of
the supply for the for the grocery store. Now I
should have read that far into the story, because you know,
(29:47):
I'm thinking, what's the problem here? First of all, is
there an egg shortage? Other we have fewer eggs than
maybe we've had in the past, but not by that much.
You know, we still produce thirty one million eggs per
day in the United States, thirty thousand eggs out of
thirty one million eggs per day is really not that
big of a deal. Then I thought, well, maybe made
(30:07):
the complain is that we're wasting taxpayer dollars, because, after all,
I mean thirty one, you know, thirty thousand eggs is
about twenty five hundred dozen at five dollars a dozen
cost twelve five hundred bucks to buy the eggs. But
they're all donated by farmers, So what's the problem. Five

today a forty percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and
most of that will be during the afternoon. Temperature wise,

Speaker 19 (32:22):
This is Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New
South Windows Solutions.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
So we had this shooting downtown yesterday here in Houston,
down around down around the courthouse, down around the Family
Law Center, involving a felon, a convicted felon, like something
like six time convicted felon who had not won, but
two firearms that he brandished. I've always always liked that
(32:49):
word brandished. You know, if you're allowed to legally carry
here in the great State of Texas, if you as
long as your gun is in a holster where everybody
can see it, you know, kind of like you know,
kind of like the cowboys did, and as long as
you don't pull it out and threaten anybody with it. Well,
(33:09):
he's threatening people with this gun, and a Harris County
deputy constable goes after the guy puts her life on
the line. She's gonna be okay. She was shot, but
she was wearing a bulletproof vests. She's going to be okay.
But the reporting on this thing was very interesting yesterday.
First of all, a lot of the TV stations went
wall to wall with this thing. I know, the other
than the pope passing, it wasn't really a big news day,
(33:32):
so maybe that was part of the reason why they
stuck with it for so long. But we'll have a
report to share with you and some thoughts on that
coming up next. First, we've got traffic and weather together
as we check out the drive. I don't sky. Mitch's
looking for something to do.
Speaker 35 (33:45):

Speaker 3 (33:45):
I'm just hoping we have another hour of goof time
because that's what I've got right now. But I do
like to keep monitoring around here. The onlines are showing

get your traffic from AM radio forty five. North onlines
are showing a CLI from cross Timbers up to Parker.
It's not there. I'm looking Parker. There it is click

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Yeah, I would say it's a little bit of chaos
on the streets yesterday here in Houston. You know, when
you've got a convicted fella out there, you know, firing
off shots that are hitting buildings and hitting a Harris
County constable. He himself was shot by the way multiple times.
Evidently he's going to be okay. They have not we've
we've heard the name and I'm not sure if it's
(35:58):
the same name I was hearing yes today, are not.
You know, they wanted to confirm that they had who
they thought they had before they gave out a whole
lot of details, like the guy's name. But here is
the report of the shooting yesterday on our television partner
KPRC too.
Speaker 5 (36:13):
We just learned here in the last couple of minutes
that the person that was the suspect in this case
was not only carrying one gun, but two guns. But
he should have never carried any gun because he has
prior felony charges. Here in the city of Texas, if
you are a convicted felon, you are not able to
carry a gun. As Andy says, still very active Seene
helicopters flying above. But I want to show you some
(36:35):
video from earlier today as all of this was unfolding,
officers donning long guns, as this place was absolutely enthralled
with police officers.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
What we know right now this was written for the
law library.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
The suspect was shot several times.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
Now, he was displaying a firearm.
Speaker 5 (36:52):
And the difference here that we just heard in that
press conference is you are allowed to carry if you're
not a convicted felon, You're allowed to carry that gun
in a constitutional.
Speaker 1 (36:59):
Carry on the hip like a cowboy. Think of it
like that.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
But the moment you pull that gun out, well that's
the problem. He was displaying that firearm, he was given
commands to drop the gun. He then opened fire, hitting
Constable Precinct one Deputy Sheila Jones. She was hit one
time her vest, likely saving her life. The bullet did
hit her vest, but it did not penetrate her vest.
(37:21):
She was sought on the side, and then the suspect
was shot multiple times. Previously we were told that there
were four deputies involved in the shooting.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
We now know that number is five.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
There were four constable deputies and one sheriff's deputy involved
in that shootout. We know that two separate government buildings
here were struck by that gun fire. At this point,
the district attorney has accepted aggravated assault on a peace
officer charge, but he does say that they are anticipating
additional charges for each deputy that was involved in the shooting,
(37:52):
as well as felony.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
Possession of firearm charges.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
Those will come as soon as they are able to
verify the identity of this respect, which they are holding
right now.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
He is in custody.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
They're not releasing that identity, and so they're.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
A little bit further on in this process.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Well, they ended up figuring out his identity's thirty four
year old Pernel Bland. I don't know much of anything
else about him. I don't know what he was doing.
I don't know was he trying to provoke police? Was
he trying to commit suicide by cop? Why was he
down there?
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Did he have? Was he supposed to be in court?
Speaker 2 (38:24):

guess out on bond again. I don't know a lot
of questions to be answered, but thankfully nobody was killed.

Harris County Precinct one Constable Alan Rosen says that vest
that Shila Jones was raving wearing rather saved the life
of the deputy constable. Yesterday, Jones shot by a man

Speaker 1 (40:33):

Speaker 8 (41:13):
A lot of people go to social media to report things.
Do you have to remember that HPD isn't monitoring that,
nor do they have a way to Houston.
Speaker 4 (41:21):
City Council Woman Abby came and says both the council

number of these clubs in their rapid growth has been
a major obstacle. Early voting kicks off today for local
municipal elections. These are for positions like city council and
school boards. But the Harris County Republican Party is now involved.
Speaker 9 (41:42):
Good public policy is important, and so we started really
getting involved in getting behind strong conservatives running in these elections.
Speaker 4 (41:52):
Harris County GOP chair Cindy Siegel says, these are the
elections that will affect you most in the long run.
It's now six oh three four House Democrats go to
El Salvador to see the illegal alien and accused MS
thirteen gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Speaker 38 (42:08):
This unless they're pulling on death row somewhere in some prison,
this is clearly out of whack. There is no way
on God's free nurse if anybody is whispering in their
ear telling them they need to start defending these gang members.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
Tennessee Republican Congressman Tim Burchett on Fox Business Now, the
lefts whining and complaining about Abrego Garcia did succeed in
getting him moved from the Supermacs prison he was in
to a facility where he's got literally his own room,
a bed, in real furniture. It also turns out there's
a reason the left continues to fawn over the deported

Speaker 29 (42:45):
The group supporting Garcia have some big backing.

Same thing at Sam's Club, of course, going by the
same people, right six oh seven our time here in
Houston's Morning News.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Right.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
I am a member of Sam's Club, so I've had
an opportunity to use their Scan and Go and it
is it really is, you know, relatively simple thing to do.
But Sam's Club is for those of you who do
shop there or have thought about shopping there, They're ditching
their traditional checkout. There's not gonna be people manning checkout
(46:23):
lines at Sam's Club anymore. Not that they have as
many lines as they used to, they don't have all
that many at this point, but they are removing all
self checkout, kiosk and traditional checkout lines from their six
hundred plus stores. You will now have to use their
Scan and Go app to scan and pay for the items.
So you get you get the little gun thing that
(46:46):
you carry with you while you go through the store,
and you scan items as you put them in your cart.
And then at the end and by the way, you
will attach a credit card or debit card or whatever
to this thing, to this app. And then what happens
is is as you're checking out, there are people there
(47:08):
to check and you know, check your cart real quick
and make sure that you paid for everything. But pretty
soon they won't even need to do that. They're working
on technology where you will not even have to scan
your own items. Still have cameras and computers that will
do that. Artificial intelligence will scan what's in your cart,
(47:29):
automatically charge you on whatever payment you're leaving them, credit
card or whatever, charge you for the items in your cart.
Is you're leaving the store, so you pick up items
at some point. It will be you pick up items,
you put them in their cart, and then you head
out the door. Won't be anybody there to check your receipt,
won't be anybody there to check out with The app
(47:52):
will take care of everything between the app and artificial intelligence.
Now there's the part of me that says, how convenient
is this? No more lines, right, no more waiting in
line to check out. And then there's a part of
me that goes, okay, well, you know what if I
end up getting the bill and they charged me for
something that I put in the card and then I
changed my mind took it out that kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (48:12):
What if that?
Speaker 2 (48:12):
What if something like that happens?
Speaker 1 (48:14):
What? What is the the the.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
What is the ability to get a refund if it
charges you for something that you didn't have or it
glitches and it charges you twice and and of course
we don't know the answers to all that. But it's
like everything else, you know, it's it changes inevitable and
and for businesses like this, it's about getting rid of people. Unfortunately,
(48:37):
you know, the fewer people you have, the fewer benefits
you have to pay, the fewer you know, times you
have to worry about somebody calling in sick six. Yeah,

trying to lionize this Kilmar Abrego, garcia this guy In
maryland who is an ACCUSED ms thirteen gang member from multiple, Sources,
(53:57):
hey he's AN ms thirteen gang, member Including El salvador
says he's AN ms thirteen gang. Member he's also a wife.
Beater as it turns, Out, monica how how in the
world do you convince people to try to, make you,
know hold this guy up on a pedestals like he's
he's just a dad From. Maryland we got to bring him.
Speaker 11 (54:14):
Home, well that's obviously the media narrative made. King BUT
i was researching his associations and, all AND i found
out he was a member of something called the Cassad
maryland and a bell rang. Off in my, mind that's
A soros funded. Group and it turns you, know their
last donation THAT i could verify was two hundred and
(54:34):
fifty thousand dollars for a group that has twenty thousand
members and by. Coincidence this guy was a, member so
he paid his thirty five dollars, dues and he was
so obviously someone they knew. About and this group has
such a sorrowsy. Agenda it's. Awful they want, to you,
know let convicts go. Free they're pro illegal. Immigrant they've
(54:59):
been called By Influence watch an illegal alien promotion. Group
but other things, that you, know voter registration for, immigrants,
quote without saying much about who's legal or. Illegal so
things like that suggest it's you, KNOW i knew that
group was very much A soros, project AND i see
he's a member of, it AND i see they began
(55:21):
organizing rallies about you, know how noble he was and
how good he, was he was a father and all,
that and then you, know so at that POINT i
just started thinking, this this looks like another one of these.
Gaslights we know The soros groups organized the big rallies
In Los angeles for illegal, immigration like around two thousand
(55:41):
and six and two thousand and, seven and we know
that they've been doing a lot of Anti trump, protests you,
know around The teslas and and that sort of, stuff
which had led to violence and other mayhem sorows is
always about. Chaos how much chaos CAN i? Create and his,
son who runs the, foundation is even more left, wing he,
(56:05):
Says so you, know we know that they've been behind
the hand behind a lot of this foundation. Activity of,
course they screamed the loudest BECAUSE, usaid which funds some
of these, NGOs is cutting off their. Money but we
know they're also very active. Lately so that's what makes
(56:25):
me think this probably was some kind of A soro's,
project a gaslight to promote it is because if they
can promote someone Like Abrego, garcia who was the worst
of the worst of illegal, immigrants you, know the wife,
beating the crazy, car driving all these, things human, trafficking gang,
membership and you know you have to commit crimes to
(56:47):
get into a. Gang so a shudder to think what
he might have done earlier that.
Speaker 41 (56:52):
They don't know.
Speaker 11 (56:52):
About so because of, this the idea is we let
him in and then we'll have to at all the
other illegal immigrants who aren't nearly as bad as he.
Is he's like a wedge to drive this issue. Through
that might be why they picked, him because there were
a lot of people they could have picked as their poster.
Boys They're George, floyd their martyr to the oppression Of,
(57:17):
trump and they picked this guy who was just about
the least worthy guy you would ever want to have
in the.
Speaker 2 (57:24):

Speaker 1 (57:33):
Them, yeap it.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
Does you almost really scary to, Me, Monica AND i
don't expect much of a comment from you on, this
but you, Know George soros just bought a big radio
group and THE sec green lighted, it not that all
that long. AGO i don't know that he has done
anything with those stations, yet but you got to think
there's got to be a plan somewhere down the line
to turn those stations into propaganda.
Speaker 11 (57:53):
PIECES i totally agree with you on. THAT i think
there has been some legislative actions to reverse. IT i
don't know what the status of it, is BUT i
do find it. DISTURBING i don't think he should be
controlling radio monopolies or any form of communication monopoly any
more than he should be financing censorship groups or trying

Harvard harvard is fighting back against The trump. Administration they
don't like losing two billion dollars worth of federal. Aid
but we're not required to send them federal. Aid there's
nothing written in law that requires. That so aren't they
likely to lose the? Lawsuit? Maybe? Probably Alan, dursowitz noted,
(01:06:44):
attorney Former harvard graduate and Former harvard, professor on the
chance That harvard has of winning in court against The trump. Administration,
no it's.
Speaker 40 (01:06:54):
A tactic to try to force and negotiate his. Settlement
harvard cannot win this lass ultimately in The Supreme, Court
harvard has the right to teach the way it wants
and to hire who it, wants but it has no
right to get federal. Funding for, example if this was
The south in the nineteen fifties and the university were
allowing clansmen to come with masks to wererass black students
(01:07:17):
and was teaching white, supremacy no one would object if
the federal government, said, hey we're not going to.
Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
Give you federal. Funding we're not going to give you tax.
Speaker 40 (01:07:24):
Exemption SO harvd has no right to federal, funding and then.
Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
Up will to lose the.
Speaker 2 (01:07:30):
Suit but nobody wants a two or three year.
Speaker 40 (01:07:33):
Lawsuit SO i think the selection of lawyers is a
message to the, administration sit, down, negotiate will resolve.
Speaker 20 (01:07:41):
This some critics have said that the threats of, funding
that that's unlawful leverage that.
Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
The administration is.
Speaker 20 (01:07:48):
Using so it sounds like you don't agree with.
Speaker 18 (01:07:50):
THAT i don't.
Speaker 40 (01:07:51):
AGREE i think that the universities have no right to
receive federal, funding and, indeed there is A Supreme court
decision that says that tax exemption can be cut from
universities that violate the law and. Discriminate SO i Think
harvard has a weak legal, case maybe it has a
strong moral, case and it doesn't want to look like
(01:08:15):
it's getting into the government because it has a very
left wing, faculty very progressive student, body and the last
thing that the president and board wants is to be
accused of capitulating to The trump.
Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Administration all, Right so they can't win the, lawsuit and
if they don't, sue they can't win with their faculty
and the other people who donate to them because of
how progressive these people. Are, okay, WELL i guess you're
gonna waste your money in some of our taxpayer dollars.

Seven Kgrh, yeah where is that bicycle lane that there's no?
Cars around seven to eight our time here In houston's morning. News,
Right State Senator Paul benttencourts is proposing a bill that
would prevent cities Like houston from narrowing roadways to create
wider sidewalks or protected lanes for bicyclists and. Buses, yeah
(01:24:31):
we've had a fair share of that going on here
In houston in the last. ADMINISTRATION i think our current
mayor doesn't have any real interest in doing, it but
the previous mayor, did which, is you, know you take
a road and instead of widening the road to put
in a bicycle lane or to make the sidewalks, bigger
(01:24:53):
you just basically make the lane for the car, skinnier
which is a dangerous thing to. Do dangerous for the,
cars dangerous for the, bicyclists dangerous for the. Pedestrians, now
the critics are going to tell you that the bill
could halt projects across the state that local leaders say
are necessary to reduce traffic congestion and promote. Safety bicycle
(01:25:15):
lanes do not reduce traffic. Congestion show me how that.
Happens show me a case where we have ever put
in a bicycle lane here in the city Of houston
and fewer. People oh, now, okay, Now i'm not going
to drive my. Car i'm riding my. Bike very few
people are going to change their commute in order to

Day's happenings we're session looming. Right here what's ahead on
news RADIO. Seven, ktrh well if there's one Thing The
catholic church is very, good at it is, popping circumstance
and there's gonna be a lot of that here over
the next. Few days.
Speaker 2 (01:32:29):
They'll have a period where they have the pope lying
in state that that's the period that's going on. Right
now they will have a funeral for Him. On saturday
then they will start the papal enclave where they will,
you know the bishops will all meet and they will
try to. Pick, them well they will just a matter
how many ballads, it takes, you know, white smoke, black
(01:32:50):
smoke you know how, that goes picking the, next pope
and then we, find out, you know once we see
who the next, POPE is i guess we find out
what direction or if there will be a directional change
With The. Catholic church because this is a very progressive
pontiff who. Just served will they go more conservative? Going
forward join us to talk About Is jonathan Science From Texas?
(01:33:10):
Family values you have a thought, On, that jonathan BECAUSE this,
I think i Don't think i'm, you know being unfair
by saying that that may be the most progressive pope we've.
Speaker 1 (01:33:19):
Ever, had well a couple.
Speaker 32 (01:33:21):
OF things, i mean first, of all as A, lifelong catholic,
you know, you know seeing a couple of these different
Changes With, John Paul Saint john Paul the second and,
of Course Uh pope benedict back in, twenty thirteen when right,
after that that Is When pope francis was voted into,
this position if. You WILL but i think what's probably
(01:33:43):
Notable About pope france's first pope from Outside.
Speaker 36 (01:33:48):
Of europe, you know He's From, south America.
Speaker 32 (01:33:50):
From ARGENTINA since i think the, eighth century that generated
a lot more interest in that area and, You know
america to some extent. As well In The, catholic church
there has been a resurgence In The, catholic church more
people converting or deciding To become catholic in an earlier
state in. Their life and, you, know look let's also
acknowledge That The catholic church is probably, the strongest if
(01:34:12):
not one of these strongest denominations that's consistent been. PRO life,
i Mean Roe versus wade was overturned during the Time
That pope francis was Leading The, catholic CHURCH and i
think that had a lot to do with Pro life Catholics.
In america but there were things that he would say
AT times i think that would.
Speaker 36 (01:34:30):
Confuse people or.
Speaker 32 (01:34:31):
CAUSE questions i think it's, also, notable though the impact
or the place That the pope Of The catholic church
has across. The world, You Know president trump has ordered
flags to be flown at. Half staff he has confirmed
to the media that he plans to attend the Funeral.
On saturday and, You Know President Vice President jade vance
was There On easter Sunday With, POPE francis, i guess
(01:34:54):
hours before he.
Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
Passed away and he's a relatively recent Convert. TO catholicism
i did.
Speaker 36 (01:35:00):
He is, AND look, i Mean the trump Won the.
Speaker 32 (01:35:03):
CATHOLIC vote, i mean if we want to get into
some of, those issues but there were some, you know first,
of all nothing changed as far as doctrine For The
catholic church With with francis. As pope but there were
things that, he said whether it got lost in translation,
or not suggested to people that he might be. More
progressive but he continued to say that, You know god
made people male, and female that, you know life begins,
(01:35:27):
at conception that marriages between a man and. A woman
he never, you know none of that changed In The.

as it related to the border and border. Security issues,
BUT look i mean a life, OF service, i mean
going back to very young Age For, pope francis of
life of service certainly a lot of focus on people that,
were poor people that, were marginalized and you know that
(01:36:00):
all led by his Faith In.
Speaker 2 (01:36:01):
JESUS christ i saw. A story i assume this story,

that is so well known and goes back to the
beginning Of the, christian faith continuing to be consistent on

Speaker 32 (01:37:21):
Worldwide story and so but, you know we'll see there's
there's been some things that have happened during the time
that he was pope that has upset some people In The,
united states some bishops and cardinals that have had differences.
Of opinion but there's no, doubt that, you know the
significance and relevance of his time as, a pope but
also that particular position across the world is Much more
(01:37:42):
we're more connected with world news. These days so, YOU
know i pray for him and his family and every
body that you know across the world that's reflecting on.

he's clearly trying to send a message TO the fed
about lowering. Interest rates he wants to see interest rates
come down so he can see the housing market do
better and all that kind. Of stuff he thinks that
inflation is under, control now and THAT the fed is just,
you know they're gonna, wait around and they're gonna, screw
around and this can be by the time they start
the lower, interest rates it's gonna be too late to
get the economy back on the. Right track that, at
