last year. And then there was Kamala Harris, who went
on Stephen Colbert Show on CBS last night asked herself

Lab Well, that was supposed to be Kamala Harris, but
she actually never answered the question directly, so it doesn't
really matter. She also claims that she doesn't watch the

Kamala closed the door for one potential political move, but
another door remains wide open.

Harris says she won't run for California governor, but is
coming out with a new book detailing her run for
the presidency last year, called one hundred and Seven Days.
Political analyst Jeff Krueer suspects Harris is not done with politics.

To preserve her political viability in the future, she decided
to forego that race and try to rebuild her reputation,
rebuild her political standing to run again for president in
twenty twenty eight. I mean, that's what I think she
is planning to do.

Recent polls show Harris is still among the Democrat leaders
for twenty twenty eight, along with the likes of Gavin
Newsom and Pete Buddha. Judge Corey Jolson, who's Radio seven

Trump has worked at miracles by using tariffs for pressure
in trade talks.

American presidents who either don't care about form policy at all,
or they care about it that they're trying to frankly
chase the Nobel Peace Prize. Have you seen Karen Trump
as an American president who parents about what forn policy

squeezing out the Chinese. Meantime, overnight trading is down across
the board, down for futures, down four hundred and nine points.

hard place at Democrats. They have to continue to push

I don't recall pooing the idea of bringing Carlos Korea back.
Maybe I poo pooed the idea that they would spend
the money to bring Carlos Korea back. Of course, they
didn't have to spend all that money. Minnesota is on
the hook for some of the money, which is how
that deal came about. They sent a minor league left
handed pitcher and cash considerations. I think the cash considerations

were on behalf of the Minnesota Twins paying a portion
of Carlos Korea's salary. After all, it's their fault he
makes so much money. But he certainly solves the need.
And certainly the so called I'll put that in their quotes,
so called baseball experts were really excited yesterday about the
deal that the Astros man. Here's how it came down

The big acquisition was Carlo's Korea. You go and you
bring him back home. He waives the no trade clause.
Buster said it earlier, the Minnesota Twins giving out the
Houston Astros thirty three million dollars to go along with

been there, he's done it, he's won there before, and
he's been a huge part of their success. Look, Peigna

right now is hurt yes, you need a third basement.
But when Penya comes back, Before he comes back, I
expect Correa to be a short then transition over to
third base. He's done it when the World Baseball Classic
for Puerto Rico. I think this is a great move
for the Houston Astros and it tells everyone we're still around.

Tariff's the job market and Derning's reports will likely factor
into investor's decisions today. President Trump is moving ahead with
efforts to reshape international commerce with new tariffs that he
just announced rates vary from nation to nation. Bloomberg Economics
says the average rate is just over fifteen percent. The
Labor Department releases the July employment report before the markets

open this morning. Economists think the pace of hiring slowed
last month, with about one hundred four thousand workers added
to payrolls. FED chair Jerome Powell indicated this week that
he's most concerned with the unemployment rate, which forecasters think
TechEd up a tenth of a percent to four point
two percent. Chevron just checked in this morning, reporting a

better than expected adjusted profit for the second quarter and
issuing an upbeat forecast. Apple and Amazon dot Com posted
quarterly results after the markets closed yesterday. Apple's numbers top
forecasts as revenue surged. Amazon's revenue and profit increased, but

who plan to leave the state rather than the legislate.
They're all ignoring that California's Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is
apparently plotting a redistricting effort in that blue state. Now,
the left is also trying to tout State Representative James
Tallarico out of Austin as a contender for John Cornyn's

US Senate seat next year. But after a recent appearance
on Joe Rogan's podcast, he's being called out by local
pastors for arguing that the Bible is pro abortion.

These statements are not going to stand up to any
kind of cross examination or legitimate theological scrutiny. He's not
expecting anyone to really go do the homework. He's just
throwing these ideas out.

Pastor Aaron Wright says tall Rico is just trying to
push a political agenda. Lawmakers were in Kerrville yesterday for
hearing over the deadly flooding from July fourth. Lieutenant Governor
Dan Patrick assuring residents that lawmakers are in this for
the long haul.

Understand, this is not the end, this is the beginning.
We will pass bills dealing with the immediacy of things
that we can address now.

One proposal that's getting bronze support is installing a new
flood warning system five point thirty three on KGRH. The
deadline is come and gone. Tariffs will now be put
in place for countries that did not make deals with
the Trump administration.

impose tariffs in order to address blatant cheating and do

That it's rigorous so it's. Challenging for students they, have

think so i think it's really important that we raise
the reggor level of rigor in our schools that students
need to read and think a. Little bit more it's
also got a it's a, classically based curriculum so we're
going to look back more classic literature and things of
