Speaker 1 (00:00):
So who do you thank for these aggressive deportations from
President Trump? Thank a Democrat. Thank it Democrat, because the
only way to you know, be aggressive enough in the
return of these illegals is because the fact that the
Democrats were so aggressive and allowing them in any scary
joins us DC columnist at The Federalist. Welcome to the show, Eddie.

(00:25):
I think the Democrats are a little surprised that President
Trump can actually kind of keep up with this level
of deportations. Uh yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I think a lot of people are looking at this
and thinking it looks it looks messy. It's a little
bit shocking to people. I think you don't have a
heart if you hear some of these stories and don't think, man,
that's that's actually awful. I feel for that person. But
you know, I think that this when Democrats gave away
something they had no right to give away, which was

(00:59):
entry into this kind of tree and a promise that
these people could stay, this was bound to happen with
someone who's campaigning on no, you don't get to do that.
I'm not letting you do that. The country is not
okay with that, Our voters are not okay with that.
So and when that person wins, that person happened to
win the election. We're seeing what we see. But I

(01:21):
think of it much the same way I think of
what happened with in the first couple months of this administration,
with the with the Elon Musk's doge initiative, which was
him coming in and just laying off and dismissing thousands
of government employees. Yeah, I feel I feel to an
extent for a lot of these people who are losing

(01:41):
their jobs. But these jobs should have never existed to
begin with. There should have never been this promise that
you get a six figure salary, you can never be fired,
you're accountable to precisely nobody, You're going to have a
massive pension. Okay, No, that's a promise that should have
never existed.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
And when some one comes and.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Rightfully says, we're taking that away because no, you're not
gonna the taxpayer isn't just going to give you, you know,
an endless supply of money, and you're accountable to no one.
Same thing, same thing is what's going on with these deportations.
We had an administration, we had a president who said
we're we're letting you in and we're letting you in,
not just one to one hundred two hundred of you,

(02:21):
we're letting in ten million of you. Well, no, we're
seeing now that that wasn't okay, that wasn't okay with people,
and we're having the person who has to clean it up.
It's a messy it's a messy mess to clean up,
but somebody's got to do it.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well, you know, I think what surprises people maybe a
little bit eddie, And it's not politics as usual. There
used to be a time where they would, you know,
government would screw it up like the Biden administration did,
and that would be the end of it. We'd be
talking about amnesty. You're letting these people stay. Nobody had
the guts to go in and clean up the mess.
This guy's got the guts to clean up the mess,

(02:55):
oh for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And people are okay with it. The voters are okay
with it. That's how it was because, yes, you're right,
there was a time where no one even wanted the
image of, you know, a single person being deported. No
one liked that this administration because things were so bad,
Things were so bad, and they were allowed to be
so bad that they not only were they okay with

(03:17):
the media doing They invited reporters, they created their own
videos of these deportations, sending them to El Salvador, a prison,
a terrorist confinement center in Al Salvador of a notorious nature.
They're flaunting it, and they're flaunting it because the voters
are fine with it. And I know that there have
been these polls that come out that say, well, for

(03:37):
the first time, a majority of Americans say that things
have gone too far. I do not believe that. I
don't believe it for one second. One, these are the
same poles that told me Kamala was popular and we
saw how that turned out.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Two, I think that to the extent that people say
this has gone too far, that was the extent of
these poles that things have gone too far. Well, what
does that mean? What does it mean that things went
too far, that we deported too many, that it was
too aggressive. Sorry, when when you when you clean up,
when you have to clean up a highway rest stop bathroom,
it's not going to be very pretty and no one

(04:12):
wants to see it on camera, but hey, this is
where we are.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yep, I agree, Eddie, scary, Thank you appreciate DC columnists
