Hey you, Jimmy.
Speaker 6 (01:35):
Good morning everyone.
Speaker 7 (01:36):
It's five oh one on KTRH. Our top story. Could
the shooting at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis have been prevented well?
The Daily Wire reports that back in twenty twenty three,
Catholic school leaders in Minnesota ask Governor Tim Walls for
help to secure their schools. Funding was never authorized. We
(01:57):
know that two kids were killed, seventeen other people or hurt.
Yet the Mayor of Minneapolis is more concerned about politics.
Speaker 8 (02:04):
Anybody who is this as using this as an opportunity
to villainize our trans community for any other community out
there has lost their sense of common humanity.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
That was Jacob Fry.
Speaker 7 (02:20):
The shooter who killed himself changed his birth name from
male to female. Police centigraphic manifesto was uploaded onto social media.
The shooter's mother apparently worked at the school at some point. Democrats,
of course, blame Republicans. California Governor Gavin Newsom call for
gun control. Jensaki went on a social media rent that
included quote enough with the thoughts and prayers here at home.
(02:43):
Harris County Precinct for Constable Mark Herman says his office
will ramp up patrols at nearby churches after yesterday's tragedy.
State law, by the way, requires every Texas school to
have armed security. Less than half our incompliance as of January.
Have more on that tomorrow. Five h three. I'm KTRH
(03:04):
illegal alien and accused. MS thirteen member Kilmar Abrego Garcia
makes yet another push for asylum orders. Our Tom Homun
told KTRH is Sean Hannity.
Speaker 6 (03:14):
It's a joke.
Speaker 9 (03:15):
Laws about Simum said, because you gotta be escaping fear
and persecution from your home government because of race, religion,
and political affiliation.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
Well, he's not going to his home country.
Speaker 7 (03:24):
Now, see if you can keep score on this one.
Abrego Garcia now wants to go to Costa Rica. He
turned that offer down last week, so the US is
trying to send him to Uganda. Meantime, after an illegal
alien truck driver killed three people in Florida, that state's
attorney general announced that they would use commercial truck way
stations for immigration enforcement.
Speaker 10 (03:44):
As a reminder, in Florida, you cannot obtain a driver's
license if you are an illegal alien, and if you
have obtained a driver's license from one of these sanctuary
states like California, Washington, those licenses are no good here.
Speaker 7 (03:57):
There are some in the law enforcement community that's say
Texas should do the same thing. You'll hear from one
of them. At six o'clock five oh four on KTRH.
The Trump administration fires CDC director Susan minar Is, but
apparently she won't leave.
Speaker 11 (04:12):
The reasoning is unclear, though The New York Times is
reporting it was over differences with Secretary Kennedy on vaccine policy.
Federal regulators have just approved and limited COVID vaccines for Americans.
That has also put them in odds with some doctors
groups who have issued their own recommendations.
Speaker 7 (04:28):

represented by Abby Lowell. Yes, the name should be familiar.
Speaker 6 (04:34):

One of the bills promotes healthy Livy by quote embedding
nutritional education across schools. Another bill requires transparency on labeling,
specifically for processed food five HT five now on kgris.
A pair of Texas Democrat Congressman Houston zel Green and
Jasmine Crockett are suing over the state's new congressional maps.
(05:13):
They want the judge to put the map on hold
while the suit plays. Out of course, they've been targeted
by Republicans. Meantime, Democrat disarray continues as the party struggles
with infighting, lack of direction, and fundraising. Republican strategist Jenette
Hoffman says over two million voters have abandoned the party
over the last five years and the party keeps digging
(05:34):
their hole even deeper.
Speaker 13 (05:35):
They've really lost their way on just basic issues like
the economy and public safety. Democratic leaders need to actually
look at voters and talk.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
To voters and see what they.
Speaker 13 (05:45):
Care about if they want to really turn this ship
around and start winning elections again.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
She says, they're totally out of touch.
Speaker 7 (05:51):
Despite all this, the deep state, it's alive and well,

Speaker 15 (06:03):

and so Elon and AX have filed a big lawsuit
in Texas about this against Media Matters.
Speaker 14 (06:11):
That's James Burnham with King Street Legal. The FTC was
looking into the Media Matters case until last week.
Speaker 15 (06:20):
They persuaded a federal judge in Washington, DC to issue

We'll get to the Minneapolis shooting. That's that's the serious
story deserves some of our attention today because it's the
same old arguments. They're being made by both sides regarding
what happened there. And well, we'll talk about it. We
have plenty of time to do that this morning, but
let's start with something fun. This is my Super Friday
because I'm off tomorrow and Monday for Labor Day, so
(07:48):
it's a long weekend, so this is my Friday, so
let's do something we can talk about. We're talking back about,
or a question of the day about. It is the
seventieth birthday Guinness World Records and they have shared a
list of seventy records no one has ever attempted. There's
(08:09):
probably a good reason why nobody attempted any of these,
but I'll share a couple with you. These are all
up for grabs. Most high fives and thirty seconds. So
just get together with somebody in exchange high fives as
quickly as you can in thirty seconds, and then send
that number to Guinness, or send the documented proof that
you did it to Guinness, and I guess you have
the world record until somebody decides to beat it. Most
(08:32):
kisses in thirty seconds by two people. Fastest time to
make a burrito that's available. Longest marathon playing air guitar.
That'd be fun. You might have to go a day
or two on that one. Most anchoti's eaten in one minute,
I don't know. Fastest ten meters spread while holding a
balloon between your knees. Farthest distance by leapfrogs in one hour,
(08:55):
Fastest time to arrange a set of scrabble tiles in
alphabetical order. For the kids' fastest time to make a
pasta necklace. Why is it only for the kids greatest
height to drop an egg without breaking it? That could
be kind of interesting. Could it be a hard boiled egg?
Because it doesn't specify longest duration to balance a spoon
(09:16):
on your nose, longest paper clip chain in one minute,
most movie theaters visited in a month, most coffee houses
visited in a month, most cans crush with your foot
in one minute, and the list goes on. There are
probably at least twenty five to thirty of these that
have never even been attempted. Little one broken. But for
(09:38):
our question to day, let's have a little fun with
this if you, but let's keep it nice and clean.
After all, we are a family program. And that is
Guinness World record I would most like to beat, and
just whatever it is, whatever it is, you'd be willing
to tackle doing something the most, doing something the fastest,
whatever it may be, because you think it'd be fun
to do, and even if if you didn't set a
(10:01):
world record, the attempt in itself would be kind of fun.
You go to the iHeartRadio up KTRH. You get up
to thirty seconds. I don't think you'll need that long
first name where you're calling from and Guinness World Record
you would like to attempt or beat there? You go
five ten high for traffic and weather together as we
check in again with Gary Mack.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Yeah, no fun here. Sixty ninth East Tax Freeway. This
is southbound. A major accident at Quitman has at least four.
Speaker 6 (10:25):
Right lanes block.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
I think you can squeeze by on the inside shoulder
that's holding steady around at ten minute wait from Cavalcade.
You might want to hop on I forty five or
even the north loop on the North Belt eastbound at
Ella Boulevard, we have all lanes blocked there. From my view,
looks like you're being let off at to the feeder

Memorial Day or more late labor even just it was
Memorial Day last week? Where did it go? Now? It's
all I can't believe it's Labor Day already.
Speaker 17 (11:06):
I know it is hard to believe, but mother Nature
may help remind you of what time of year it is,
because it looks like this cold front, the week coldfront
that we've been talking about, may have an impact on
our temperatures, like less than ninety degrees starting Sunday into Monday.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
So yeah, a little dose of fall now.
Speaker 17 (11:30):
As far as the weather today, not much in the
way of rain, lots of sunshine, thirty percent chance that
we'll see some of that rain today. Load of mid
nineties today, pretty typical late August weather for us. There's
a forty percent chance of rain tomorrow, and then a
sixty percent chance of those showers and thunderstorms Saturday and
(11:51):
into Sunday as well. Now tomorrow we're still in the
load of mid nineties, but then as we head into
the weekend, oper eightings to loan nineties for the most part,
though there may be a few places that only get
into the mid to upper eighties on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
I'm about the humidity. Does that go away a little bit?
Speaker 18 (12:10):
Now?
Speaker 6 (12:10):
As long as we've got rain, We're still dealing with
the humidity. We're gonna have to get deeper into fall
to get rid of the humidity.
Speaker 2 (12:18):

we had an opportunity to see good versus evil in
full display yesterday in Minneapolis. I'll share some of that

Speaker 2 (14:34):
On the tens five twenty two start time here in
Houston's Warner News. The battle of good versus evil on
full display in Minneapolis, Minnesota, yesterday. Laura Ingram on her
program last night had this to say.
Speaker 19 (14:46):
The battle of good versus evil, It's real, and we
saw evil descend upon Annunciation Church this morning, taking two
precious innocent lives with it. Now, over the past two
decades or so, the killers who brought terror and devastation
to our churches and our schools have one thing in common.
Their faith was nonexistent. Their focus was not on God,
(15:09):
it was on revenge. Or it was on social media fame,
a combination a desperate need above all for recognition and
notoriety through the infliction of maximum pain. Now, if it
wasn't death by guns, it would be by a knife
or with an explosive device and a pressure cooker, maybe
a backpack. Like most cities run by Democrats, Minneapolis, of course,
(15:32):
is a mess. The politicians are clueless, their priorities are
all screwed up. Even today, I have heard.
Speaker 8 (15:39):
About a whole lot of hate that's being directed at
our trans community. Anybody who is this as a using
this as an opportunity to villainize our trans community or
any other community out there, has lost their sense of
common humanity.
Speaker 19 (16:00):
Well, asking questions about the shooter's background is not hate,
it's common sense. But again, common sense eludes people like
Jacob Fry twisted Tim Walls because they claim bragging rights
about issues that are statewide embarrassments, which actually celebrate the
mutilation of confused children and the release of criminal illegals.
Speaker 8 (16:22):
Minneapolis will continue to be a safe haven for undocumented immigrants.
Speaker 6 (16:33):
For our trans community.
Speaker 20 (16:34):
I saw a statistic came out today is Minnesota ranks
the highest per capitable for being a safe haven for transgender.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Individuals in Minnesota.
Speaker 21 (16:43):
And this is life affirming and life saving healthcare. When
our children tell us who they are. It is our job,
has grown ups to listen and to believe them.
Speaker 19 (17:03):
Apparently that's what this killer's mother thought. These are their
real priorities, keeping illegal aliens safe from deportation and ensuring
that children have access to puberty blockers.
Speaker 6 (17:12):
And so called sex change surgeries. This is truly sick.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
This is the second time we've had a mass shooting
at a school committed by a transgender individual. Does this
mean that all transgenders are dangerous or killers? Know it doesn't.
But when you have the mayor of your city right
after a shooting and the first thing he's basically saying
is he's concerned about hate directed towards the transgender community,
(17:40):
where are his priorities? There is no concern expressed for
what happened to those children in the church. See. If
there's one thing the far progressive left hates, it's religion.
Religion is the biggest threat to these people. If your
goal is to have a socialist, communist nation, your goal
(18:02):
is very difficult to reach as long as religion is there,
as long as people have something to believe in other
than you. So there's no support for religion. He who
already told you the governor had an opportunity. He was requested.
Churches requested additional security help. He ignored them. Five twenty six.

ending same Dave registration.
Speaker 12 (22:00):
And that's why I put it on the call, and
that's why I don't think he'll be signing.

This is how America was built because when you're working out.
You're also alert, your brain's a going bs and media
news might not mean so much from the squeelers anymore.
That's what they're more afraid of, independent thought, a little
personal success.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
You're not glued to the TV anymore.
Speaker 7 (25:51):
He also adds that if you fail at the challenge,
it's not a bad thing. Means you'll try harder. By
thirty six, Hey, not everyone in gen z is lazy. Actually,
four and ten between the ages of sixteen and twenty
four say they prefer working in an office.
Speaker 28 (26:05):
I think this is the work from home pendulum swinging
back the other direction, and it's a bit of an
Icarus f line too close to the sun scenario, and
I think people are starting to realize what they're really
missing out on by not being in a physical office.
Speaker 7 (26:18):
Workplace culture expert Joshua Evans there, but that still leaves
sixty percent who would rather work from home. Astros beat
the Rockies four to one. They'll wrap up that series
at noon on Sports Talk seven ninety Today, I'm Cliff
Saunders on Houston's news, weather and traffic station, News Radio
seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
More with Jimmy Barrett and the Houston Morning news teams.
This is Houston's Morning News.
Speaker 2 (26:44):
Yeah, that was one of my first jobs, washing dishes
at a convalescent center. It's hard work. It's hard work.
It is hard work, but it's a minimum wage job
and it's always going to be a minimum wage job.
Bus boys, dishwashers, waitstaff. Of course. Weight staff is a
(27:06):
different story because you're into the tips, and if you
work at a really nice restaurant, you can make it.
I mean, there's a lot of people that can six
figure salaries waiting tables, but they're waiting tables at place
like Taste of Texas, you know, where the bills coming
to two, three, four hundred bucks and they're getting twenty
percent tip on top of that. The Texas Restaurant Association
(27:27):
says the industry is in crisis and says it's because
of a growing worker shortage in declining sales. Well, those
are two separate problems, but let's talk about the growing
worker shortage first. They're urging Congress in the White House
to take immediate action by granting work permits to long
term immigrant workers and asking the public to support the
(27:47):
effort by signing an online petition. Emily Williams, President and
CEO of the Texas Restaurant Association says, quote, we can't
get the labor to run our restaurants. It's leading to
the loss of business across the eight No, no, no,
I would have to disagree, mss Williams. What's leading to
a loss of business has more to do with the
(28:11):
high price of food than it has to do with
whether or not you've got enough dishwashers or weight staff
or even people working in your restaurant. Most of the
restaurants I've been to lately, they have not been that busy,
where before they were really busy. And I just think
that your typical restaurant bill has gotten to the point
where a lot of people have cut back. They're not
(28:33):
eating out as much as they were now. That's not
to say that restaurants aren't having a hard time finding help.
I'm sure they are. But you know what's the answer
to that, Not to get work permits to illegal aliens,
but to encourage more people to work in the industry.
And I'm afraid the only week that happens is if
(28:53):
you pay better wages or we get a work ethic
back for young people who are willing to go work
at a restaurant washing dishes as the first job, like
I did, Yo, that's it builds character. You know what
else it teaches you. I don't think I want to
wash dishes for a libic. I think I better do
better in school. Five forty time for traffic and weather together.
(29:14):
We're checking out the drive against skuy. Mike's off all
this week. Garry back in for him right off.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
Delays for both these accidents have increased over a half
hour to plan accordingly. Sixty nine the East text Freeway
involves in eighteen wheelers southbound equipment has all lanes tied up.
That has you bumper to bumper almost to the north Loop. Now,
I'd out for I forty five or the north loof
on around on the North Belt eastbound at La Boulevard
Dance closed life light was on scene. We're backed up
(29:41):
almost to Antwine here. I'd use Highway to forty nine.
I'm Gary Mcathgenerator Supercenter dot Com Trafvick Center.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
From r KTRH Generator Supercenter, twenty four hour Weather Center.
Time to bring on Terry Smith. The Labor Day weekend
is almost upon us, so we're gonna be able to
do our outdoor stuff, Terry, I think we'll be.
Speaker 5 (29:58):
Able to do some outdoors stuff. I think some of
it might be interrupted.
Speaker 17 (30:04):
We interrupt your holiday weekend fun with a little bit
of thunderstorm activity, especially more so Saturday. I think today
there's not much rain, a few showers and thunderstorms. We've
got a quieter day overall, thirty percent chance of getting
wet today, temperatures load of mid nineties. Tomorrow forty percent
(30:25):
chance of those showers and thunderstorms, load of mid nineties.
The front's a little bit closer and hanging around. We
get these little waves of a little pressure to swing through.
So Saturday to me looks like when we'll get a
little more rain than the rest of the weekend. A
sixty percent chance that you'll get wet. Temperatures close to ninety.
Sunday and Monday, we have a forty percent chance of
(30:47):
those thundershowers.
Speaker 5 (30:48):
So we've got less possibility of rain.
Speaker 17 (30:52):
And temperatures right now look to be in the mid
to upper eighties Sunday and Monday.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Temperature right now seventy eight at your official severe weather station,
News Radio seven forty k TRH. Well, you know else,
it's against the wind the Trump administration five forty nine
ers our time. Yeah, they're doing way with all the
offshore wind projects. First of all, unreliable source of energy.
Second of all, at least compared to natural gas and coal.
(31:21):
Second of all, it causes environmental harm in the ocean,
the ocean, wildlife, whales and all that kind of stuff, seagulls,
all that kind of stuff. Here's Secretary of the Interior
Doug Bergham talking about the end of the wind program.
Speaker 29 (31:35):
This is part of our drive to make sure that
we've got affordable, reliable energy for every American. And of course,
as you know, you understand this industry, I mean, the
offshore wind industry was really built around incredible.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Enormous tax subsidies.
Speaker 29 (31:54):
Sixty to seventy percent of the project value on some
of these projects was the tax the tax breaks that
were transferable to other companies. It wasn't really about electrical generation.
It was under the guise of hey, this is really
environmentally sound. But one of the things, of course that
we're as we go through hunter President Trump's executive order
reviewing every offshore win project, finding that now there was
(32:18):
Biden Arrow reports were the scientists at the National Oceanographic Administration.
These folks were saying, Hey, these are sensitive marineaires. This
is one of the reasons why we're seeing the whale depth.
This is why we're concerned about the marine fisheries. Now
we've got the DOO Department of Defense involved with concerns
about about the effects on radar for our airports and
(32:43):
for military uses, and also the effects underneath for undersea drones.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
So the dd is taking a hard look.
Speaker 29 (32:51):
And also you know, the Department of Transportation has got
some concerns with from the FAA standpoint, from the aerial radar.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
So there's a whole of.
Speaker 29 (32:59):
Government look at these these massive tax subsidies. At the
end of the day, citizens have to pay for them
twice because you're paying for the tax subsidy. You don't
realize that with the hundreds of billions of dollars of subsidy,
but then you're also paying for it because these are
the highest electric prices in the country coming off of
these projects.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
That's a pretty good illustration of why some of those
projects are just not worth doing. Five fifty one. Let's
get to traffic and weather together as we check it
again with Gary Mack.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
Yeah, you from bad to worse the sixty ninety Sex
Freeway south bound equipment accident. Now A has Matt's bill
and hence all lanes remain blocked to Lays forty five
plus from cross Timbers, you might want to hop on
I forty five. Also the North Belt eastbound at La
Boulevard at another major that's shut down. Over an hour
delay from Antoine alternates here to forty nine. Yeah, if
(33:47):
you can get to Veterans Memorial, that's an option too.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
It's just a mess in and around.
Speaker 4 (33:52):

Songs called Manifesto that is a Christian manifesto, not the
manifesto espoused by the shooter in Minneapolis. And like all
mass shooters, I will not use their name other than
to say that the first name was Robin. Originally was Robert,
changed it to Robin. We're talking about the transgender individual
(35:35):
did this at seventeen. Minnesota's a state that is all
in on gender politics, and they pride themselves on protecting
and nurturing the transgender community, that they are all about it.
And along the way they recruit people I believe to
become transgender members. But this person that they recruited is
(36:00):
it's a sick individual. He had his own manifesto. We're
starting to learn what's in the manifesto. I'm only mentioning
this now because there's only a handful of places that
are going to talk about this. Nobody in the mainstream
is going to talk about what he said in his
manifesto because it is disturbing. It's horrible, it's racist, it's
(36:21):
just amazing. In this transgender shooter's manifesto, he talked about
murdering filthy Zionus Jews and spewed other anti Semitic bio.
He also talked about free Palestine and he wrote it
in cryllic. The crilic alphabet is when you look at
something that's Russian, that's the crilic alphabet. He wrote it
(36:44):
in cryllic. What he meant by doing it that way.
I have no idea, he said in his manifesto. If
I will carry out a racially motivated attack, it would
most likely be against filthy Zionus Jews, I hate those
entitled and and then he goes on from there. He
also wrote six million was not enough a reference to
(37:07):
the number of Jewish Holocaust victims. Wow, and they're calling
Trump a Nazi.
Speaker 28 (37:14):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
He also wrote on his rifle kill Donald Trump? Who's
the Nazi again? Five point fifty six. Now Here in

You, Jimmy six ZH one on KTRH. We're sponsored by
the Oakarvers Financial Group. Breaking this morning to Harris County
Precinct four Deputy constables are injured in a crash on
belt Way eight. That's what Gary Max's been talking about
all morning, the crash involving a drunk driver.
Speaker 22 (39:35):
He was life light and so here's lifelight ass.
Speaker 30 (39:37):
It's gonna be some serious.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
Injuries all told, five people will hurt. More details as
we get them, and although there's no specific threat, Harris
County Precinct four Constable Mark Herman says his office will
increase patrols at nearby churches. This is a response to
yesterday's Minneapolis Catholic school shooting. Texas law requires every school
to have armed security. Of January, less than half were
(40:02):
in compliance. Meantime, two kids who were praying in their
pew were killed. Seventeen others were hurt.
Speaker 22 (40:09):
My friend Victor, he was like laying on top of me,
like making sure I was safe, and he got hit.
Speaker 6 (40:16):
So that was really brave of him, that little boy.
Speaker 7 (40:19):
Speaking to reporters, the shooter identified as a twenty three
year old born male, but it legally changed his name
to female. A manifesto was posted to YouTube as well,
showing the shooters apparent hatred for religion and President Trump,
downplayed by mainstream media outlets like ABC and CNN. Of course,
(40:40):
the left called for more gun control hours after the tragedy.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
There shouldn't be words for these types of incidents because
they should not happen.
Speaker 7 (40:48):
That's Governor Tim Wallas, but he's in hot water himself.

Seven, ktrh yeah maybe able to well get it six
twenty one hour time Here On Houston's. Morning news, All
right So The texas house evidently is not done with
redistricting now they want to. Redistrict Themselves Doctor bobby Everley
FOR bencounting gop chair. Checks in so how does, this morning,
Good morning how does it work as Far as texas
(51:48):
rules on Redistricting The texas house And The. Texas, senate.
Speaker 33 (51:53):
Well there is a letter put to out by about
Thirty one house members asking the governor to put this
iss shoe in.
Speaker 2 (52:01):
Special session it's not. There now they're hoping to. Get
it but what it.
Speaker 33 (52:05):
Really does is continues, the effort at, least thematically on
why congressional districts were redrawn because so many of them
were drawn on. A race jerry manderd we need to.
Fix that and So these House Members texas house, Members,
said hey if we're doing it to get us some
(52:26):
seats IN The, us house let's do it With The.
Texas House and i'm all for this because the way
that you see our caucus working or quote, not working
it's time to get some other people, IN there, i
think and this would be a good step in.
Speaker 2 (52:44):
That direction, All right so would we end up with
more seats or just? Different boundaries?
Speaker 28 (52:49):
Different?
Speaker 33 (52:49):
BOUNDARIES okay i believe that the one and the thirty
one actually, Are traditional they've. Been there that's the number
of psalms and proverbs In, the bible is how that was.
Originally establishing so those numbers aren't goording, to, stage okay
but redraw those lines and get us Some.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
More, republicans well but what Kind of republicans are we going?
To get will that have anything to do with the
way those lungs are? Being drawn we have a rhino
problem Here, in texas.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
We, have.
Speaker 33 (53:20):
Well exactly and so that's why all of This that,
i'm saying, you know sounds good on, The, surface hey let's,
do that but could it become.
Speaker 2 (53:28):
A reality and in, the process.
Speaker 33 (53:31):
You've got To get republicans on board and the caucus
and too many times you've seen a small number of
them side With, the democrats and.
Speaker 2 (53:39):
That's your governing or.
Speaker 33 (53:41):
Working majority that's not how it should be In a
republican dominated state where we control, Everything supposedly so getting
those lines to actually get some good conservatives in there
would be.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
A challenge but we can't hope to do that unless
we can make this. First step or, the alternative.
Speaker 33 (54:02):
Of course is getting the voters out there to really
pay attention to what's going on each session and vote
some new.
Speaker 2 (54:10):
People. In, well unfortunately we don't seem to have a
whole lot of luck with getting people to pay attention,
to politics. Do we it just got it gets to
be too depressing after. A while i think for Your
average texan who's just trying to live their life and
put food on the table and, you know take the kids,
to school they don't have a lot of time to
worry about. This stuff so at the end of, the
day if you can somehow manage to pull, this off Do,
(54:33):
THE democrats, i mean if you Convince the republicans to
vote in favor of, doing this then Do the democrats
take off and run? Away again you KNOW what i think?
Speaker 33 (54:43):
THEY do i think they take off and, run again
and and and Just, So okay so now it goes
back TO The. Gop caucus they just had their meeting
and they, voted, that hey we're not going to strip them,
of chairmanships so we're not going to punish them for.
Speaker 3 (54:57):
What they just did.
Speaker 33 (54:58):
Right now they came up with a set of rules
to make some changes to punish them in.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
The future but, you know they just. Did IT and,
i mean You had democrats put on.
Speaker 33 (55:10):
The redistricting Committee Like jeane wu and he took off
and there's. No PENALTIES so i don't have a lot
of confidence that they'll get that done Considering the democrats,
just led, you know to Places like Jerrymander to illinois
and they face.
Speaker 6 (55:26):
No PENALTIES so i bet they take off again if we.
Speaker 18 (55:30):
Try.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
That well and that's and that's a perfect example of
why the rhino problem, still exists is that, you know
those are the people responsible for not Punishing. These, Democrats,
right yeah this easily.
Speaker 33 (55:41):
Be settled they easily. Be Stopped the democrats could be
There in austin being voted down because we are, the majority,
but nope that doesn't happen because we.
Speaker 2 (55:51):
Empower them we empower them with.
Speaker 33 (55:53):
These, vice chairmanships we give them, extra money and then
when they just leave the state and stop, all.
Speaker 2 (56:01):

news all right for all of our. Carnivore listeners, oh
look everybody's hands. Raised up eating more meat could be
beneficial for. Your body. All right i've been waiting my
(01:21:49):
whole life for. This study the study comes from Research
from Canada's McMaster university revealed that annimal source foods are
not linked to a higher risk. Of death the study
discovered that animal proteins could also offer protective benefits against cancer.
Related mortality, hang on that steak is, fighting cancer now.
(01:22:11):
You're talking researchers analyzed data from nearly sixteen thousand adults
between the ages of nineteen and sixty four considered how
much animal and plant protein they. Typically consumed they also
examined whether these diet patterns were associated with the risk
of dying from heart disease. Or cancer results revealed no
(01:22:31):
increase risk of death in association with eating more. Animal
protein it also showed a modest but significant reduction in cancer.
Related mortality no associations were found between, total protein whether
it's animal or, plant protein and the risk of death from.
Any cause eating that steak is just as good for
(01:22:54):
you as eating plant. Based protein take that. JUST again
i think, we well we've been misled in so many
different ways when it comes to. Diet issues here's the
other thing about being. A carnivore it's not the meat
(01:23:15):
that puts on. The weight it's. The carbohydrates it's not.
The protein protein, in particular lean protein is good for
you in every sense of. The word carbohydrates are what
put on. The fat the reason why we're so fat
is that we eat a lot. Of carbohydrates we don't
pay a lot of attention. To carbs the best thing
to do if you really want to lose weight is
(01:23:37):
just to go on an all protein diet with as
much meat protein as you want and give up the
carbs and the weight will. Fall off. Seven ten time

Two now Here On Houston's. Morning news, All, right so
if you ever heard Of, media matters if you haven't
heard Of, Media matters i'll let our guests explain to
you exactly what media matters is before we get into
some of these. Legal Issues james burnham joints as managing
Partner Of King. Street Legal media matters loves to report on,
conservative media but they support all. Causes liberal, they they're
(01:28:24):
for lack of a, Better, term james they're a left wing.
Advocacy group how would you? DESCRIBE them i think what
you just said is pretty.
Speaker 6 (01:28:31):
MUCH accurate, i mean they're a left wing.
Speaker 15 (01:28:32):
Advocacy group their nominal purpose is, to expose, you know
bias and other problems in. Conservative media but of course,
they are at least my understanding is they're incredibly biased in.
Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
Doing so of course they are they're, just biased biased
to the left exactly instead of to. The right there
there have been suits filed against THEM by x, for
example for some of the things that they've said about,
their organization some of the things that they. Have reported
yet they've had a lot. OF luck i don't know
if they're shopping judges, or what but they've had a
(01:29:04):
lot of luck in liberal courts in getting out from under.
Speaker 39 (01:29:06):
The.
Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
Allegations yeah so the.
Speaker 15 (01:29:10):
Suit by axis was Filed, in Texas And media matters
has not not had great success there at least, so
far and they've not been able to get some other
liberal judge or other judge to get in the way of.
THAT one i think what you're talking about Is The
Federal trade commission is. Investigating them i'm happy to explain
the sort of background. To that but they filed a
LAWSUIT in dc to get the investigation. In joint would
(01:29:31):
you like me to kind of talk about?
Speaker 28 (01:29:33):
Please.
Speaker 15 (01:29:33):
Do.
Speaker 3 (01:29:34):
Yeah yeah, so.
Speaker 15 (01:29:36):
Basically during After The Black lives matter suwhere of twenty twenty,
at least there's a ledge to have been a sort
of group boycott by advertisers and certain conservative social media
or certain conservative, media outlets and also some social, media
platforms MOST famously x in The post elon acquisition VERSION
of x and so the allegation was all the advertisers,
(01:29:59):
got together they agreed to not ADVERTISE. On x and
the allegation is Further That media matters helped organize. The
boycott having, different companies competitor companies get together and decide
not to do business with a particular COMPANY like x.
Or whatever is itself a violation of the anti. Trust
laws you're not allowed to agree with your competitors to
(01:30:19):
not engage in a certain type of. Economic, Activity okay
so that's. The backdrop so there's a credible Allegation That
media matters organized an illegal group, boycott of among, OTHER PLATFORMS.
X x the suit about That in texas in that case.
Is proceeding fast.
Speaker 6 (01:30:35):
Forward to twenty.
Speaker 15 (01:30:36):
Twenty Five president trump. Takes office there's a new chairman OF,
The Ftc. Andrew ferguson the FTC's mission is to enforce
the anti.
Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
Trust laws as we, just discussed.
Speaker 2 (01:30:46):
Group boycotts can violate the anti.
Speaker 18 (01:30:48):
Trust laws so what do.
Speaker 15 (01:30:49):
They do they launch an investigation into the allegation that
there was an illegal, group boycott and they investigate among,
other people the alleged ring leader of the investigation of
The Boycott, media matters and so What Does media Matters
do rather than sort of provide evidence, and, say oh,
you know we did, do this you didn't break, The
law we're.
Speaker 28 (01:31:07):
Totally fine all we do is.
Speaker 15 (01:31:09):
Advocate whatever they filed a LAWSUIT in dc and Drew
a biden appointee judge and got that judge to enjoin
the investigation itself, to say you can't even investigate because
you are too Biased Against, media matters basically based on
a collection of public statements from like random people who
(01:31:29):
are thought to be friends and supporters OF the, ftc
chairman and a.
Speaker 28 (01:31:33):
Few things the chairman.
Speaker 6 (01:31:34):
Himself is that it's totally extraordinary.
Speaker 2 (01:31:36):
What happened it is amazing to me all of these
liberal judges who want to make. Nationwide Laws The, SUPREME court,
i thought was pretty clear that you can't. Do that
as a, federal judge. You cannot you're responsible for, your district.
Your jurisdiction you're not responsible for the. Entire country but
these judges are routinely Ignoring The supreme court Of The.
(01:31:57):
UNITED states.
Speaker 18 (01:31:59):
I think.
Speaker 15 (01:32:00):
THAT'S right i think there's a decent chance or maybe
even a good chance that this case is going to
go up To The supreme court Of The united states,
and soon because, you, know really WHAT really i find
striking about, it is, you know the idea that you
can't investigate a person who are in a company or
an entity that's thought to have violated the law because
you have a political bias against that person or entity
(01:32:22):
is not something that, you know anybody cared about or
was saying at all before In the, biden, ADMINISTRATION right,
i mean think about all the different things That The
Biden justice department did where they were obviously politically biased against, the,
target like, for example the current president who they investigated
and Prosecuted in FLORIDA. And dc do you think there
(01:32:42):
was some political bias there From the. BIDEN people i, Don't, know, yeah,
probably yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:32:47):

A nazi this guy is the personification of What a.
Nazi is you want to know What a, nazi is it's.
This guy here's the Report From news nation with some
other things from. This manifesto the.
Speaker 42 (01:48:17):
Coward that shot these victims took his own life in
the rear of.
Speaker 29 (01:48:21):
The church.
Speaker 42 (01:48:23):
That coward has been identified as twenty three Year Old.
Robin westman no prior. Criminal history as to the weapons
used to perpetrate this, horrific attack there was, a rifle,
a shotgun and. A pistol all three had been lawfully
purchased by.
Speaker 18 (01:48:42):
The shooter.
Speaker 42 (01:48:44):
At, this stage we believed that the shooter had. Acted
alone there is no indication of. Other suspects we're also
aware of a manifesto that the shooter had time to
be released. On YouTube this manifesto appeared to show him
at the scene and included some. Disturbing writings that content
(01:49:05):
has since been taking down up systems OF the fbi
and it now remains under active review by.
Speaker 30 (01:49:11):
Our investigators obviously speaks to the pre planned nature excuse me.
Speaker 6 (01:49:16):
Of, this clearly this individual had.
Speaker 30 (01:49:19):
Put a lot of thought and effort into obviously legally acquiring,
these weapons writing, this manifesto and then timy. That VIDEO
but i think what's going to be, really critical at
least FOR, the fbi also for local law enforcement, as
well is really going through that manifesto as well as
his online activity to see where these ideas. Came from
(01:49:39):
if you notice on some of them he has written
in CYRILLIC and i think that's really to me there
and looking at some of these other investigations and individuals
whoven radicalize on the Pat. Rooms rich this is very.
Speaker 19 (01:49:51):
Prolific step we're just showing a tiny part.
Speaker 6 (01:49:54):
Of it this young man must have been clearly mentally
ill to anybody in.
Speaker 2 (01:49:59):
His viscay, YOU know i had a.
Speaker 16 (01:50:01):
Chance earlier this morning to see that that video WAS.
ON x i watched about eleven. Minutes long it, was
disturbing to say. The Least like, tracy said this attack
was well. Planned out he was armed to. The hilt
he took all the precautions and strocatory steps that one
(01:50:21):
would take.
Speaker 2 (01:50:22):
To do something.
Speaker 16 (01:50:23):
Like this and then you've got two young, kids dead
fourteen other kids injured, by gunfire three senior citizens who
were in the church as well injured. By gunfire you
know where does.
Speaker 8 (01:50:36):
It, stop.
Speaker 2 (01:50:38):
Well where it stops is when there aren't evil people
on the, planet anymore which, means never or when we
recognize the mental health problems that we have and we
do something, about it or when the progressive left decides
that they're going to stop indoctrinating people to want To
kill trump and. Innocent people, it's just, you know it's
(01:50:59):
a laundry list. Of things there's a lot of things
that are on that list now that have to be
eliminated for this. To stop, all, RIGHT listen i gotta
get out, of here take a couple of days off
Of The lab. DAY weekend i hope you get a
chance to do. THE same i will See you, tuesday
morning bright, and early five am here On news radio SEVEN.
